Design

You should not expect a great build quality from an entry-level. All of these phones are made of polycarbonate and they are pretty chunky. I personally prefer the design of the Redmi 10 2022 over the Realme Narzo 50A because it comes with a cleaner look. The Samsung Galaxy A12 has an even more minimalistic look on the rear side. The Realme Narzo 50A is definitely the most original one with its rear texture.

Display

If you are looking for the most advanced display, you should go for the Redmi 10 2022 or the Realme Narzo 50A without thinking twice. They have an IPS HD+ panel, while Samsung Galaxy A12 has an inferior PLS display. The Redmi 10 has a wider display with a diagonal of 6.7 inches, better for gaming and productivity.

Hardware/Software

Besides sporting the most advanced panel, the Redmi 10 2022 has the best hardware setup. It is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 680 chipset paired with up to 6 GB of RAM and up to 128 GB of internal storage. The Samsung Galaxy A12 comes with up to 6 GB of RAM, but it is fueled by the inferior MediaTek Helio P35 chipset. The Realme Narzo 50A sits right in the middle with its MediaTek Helio G85 and 4 GB of RAM. Note that Realme Narzo 50A and Redmi 10 2022 run Android 11 out of the box, while Samsung Galaxy A12 runs Android 10 natively, but it can be upgraded.

Camera

If you need the best cameras, then choose the Realme Narzo 50A. It is equipped with a 50 MP main camera and a pair of 2 MP lenses for macros and depth calculation. The Redmi 10 has the same main camera but lacks the macro sensor, while the Samsung Galaxy A12 has an inferior main camera but it comes with an ultrawide sensor.

Battery

The longest battery life is provided by the Realme Narzo 50A because it sports a bigger 6000 mAh battery and a smaller display.

Three budget devices from realme, namely realme 8s, realme C25s, and realme narzo 50A are now accepting applications for realme UI 3.0 Early Access. The update is based on Android 12 and comes with all of the goodness that the software version is associated with, including dynamic wallpaper-based theming.

Early Access programs by realme are intended to filter out bugs that may have gone overlooked during the internal testing process. As such, builds rolled out through it are not expected to be rock-stable and may be rough around the edges.

The realme UI 3.0 application channel for the realme 8s 5G opened up on March 21st while for the realme C25s and the realme narzo 50A, it started on March 22nd.

The application process is simple: Simply navigate to Settings > Software Update > Settings icon on the top right corner > Trial Version > Apply Now. You will then be asked to enter some details and submit a mini quiz.

But beforehand, make sure that you’re on firmware version RMX3381_11.A.09 for the realme 8s, RMX3197_11.A.18 for the realme C25s, and RMX3430_11.A.11 for the realme Narzo 50A.

Once that’s done and you’ve applied, you will receive an OTA update that will take you straight from Android 11 to realme UI 3.0-based Android 12.

Realme has set a date for the launch of Realme Narzo 50. The smartphone will launch on February 24 in India. Before its debut, the smartphone’s specs were leaked. Now, the smartphone has appeared on FCC showcasing its design and specs.

The Realme Narzo 50 seems to have a different design as compared to its other Narzo 50 siblings – the Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i. The smartphone has a punch-hole display with flat sides. It has a rectangular camera island that’s placed vertically. It has three sensors and an LED flash at the rear.

The device seems to have a glossy back panel with diagonal lines. It has the Narzo branding at the bottom left. Moving to the sides, the smartphone has the SIM tray and the volume rocker on the left side, while on the right side, it has the power button. At the bottom, it features a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port.

Apart from looks, the listing reveals that the device has a 6.6-inch IPS LCD panel with a 6.6-inch FHD+ resolution. The device has a 120Hz refresh rate and is expected to have a higher-touch-samplig rate.

As per the previous leaks, the device will be powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 chipset. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and has support for 33W fast charging technology. It will come with 6GB of LPDDR4x RAM and up to 128GB of UFS 2.1 internal storage. The phone is touted to have a 50MP + 2MP(macro) + 2MP(monochrome) triple camera system and a 16MP selfie shooter.

In terms of the pricing, the Narzo 50 is tipped to start at Rs. 15,999 for 4GB + 64GB variant and Rs.17,999 for the 6GB + 128GB variant.

Realme is expected to launch a few Narzo 50 phones in the coming months. Currently, we have the Realme Narzo 50A and 50i available in the market. Now, the company is rumored to bring more phones like the vanilla Narzo 50 and Narzo 50A Prime. However, the launch date was yet to be officially revealed. Today, 91Mobiles has tipped the launch timeline of the vanilla Narzo 50 and also revealed the probable color variants.

As per the publication, the new Realme Narzo 50 will debut in March this year. The launch will commence as early as the first half of March. The Narzo 50 will come in two color variants – Gray and Green.

Previously, the vanilla Narzo 50 was spotted on EEC confirming a 4,880mAh battery capacity. It has 33W fast charging support. The device is expected to come with an FHD+ screen with a high refresh rate.

Other than the vanilla model, we also expect to see the Narzo 50 Prime at the event.  The device will come with a 4,890mAh battery that will be marketed as a 5,000mAh cell. It will have an 18W fast charging technology. This battery capacity will be smaller than the Narzo 50A.

Notably, the 50A Prime was also seen on the Indian website last month. Unfortunately, it didn’t reveal anything else apart from its Indian existence. Later after the Indian launch, these phones may also get a global release.

Last month, Realme launched the Narzo 50 series in India comprising the Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i. However, the other Narzo 50 siblings were not launched at the event. Now, the company is expected to bring the Realme Narzo 50 and Realme Narzo 50 Pro soon and the launch details for the same has appeared on the Internet.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma(via 91Mobiles), the Realme Narzo 50 and Narzo 50 Pro will debut later this month or in early November. That said, the phones are expected to launch in the Indian market and may debut in some other major regions later this year.

As of now, there’s no detail regarding the specs of the Narzo 50 duo but we expect the series to pass various certifications considering that the launch is pipelined.

Talking about the Narzo 50A and 50i, the phones feature a similar shell but has a different rear design. The Realme Narzo 50A features a 6.5-inch display and has a triple camera system It has a 50MP main sensor, a 2MP portrait lens, and a 2MP macro lens. Upfront, it has an 8MP camera for selfies.

The camera details regarding the Narzo 50i are unknown but it has some downgraded specs compared to the Narzo 50A. The Narzo 50i has a smaller 5,000mAh battery, whereas the 50A houses a 6,000mAh battery cell. It comes in 2GB RAM and 32GB base configuration, while the 50A has 4GB RAM and 64GB base variant.

Realme has just launched two new smartphones in the Narzo 50 series along with its new Smart TV Neo and Band 2 today (24th September 2021) in India. The latest  handsets include the Narzo 50A and Narzo 50i.

Narzo 50A

The Narzo 50A is the more powerful variant between the two smartphones that have just been unveiled. Under the hood, it packs the MediaTek Helio G85 processor that is optimized for gaming, which is paired with the ARM Mali G52 GPU. The device is powered by a large 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging along with reverse charge support as well that enables it to charge other products. It also offers a rear mounted fingerprint reader for security and supports microSD card slot for memory expansion up to 256GB.

The Narzo 50A sports a 6.5 inch display that offers 400 nits of brightness on the front with a waterdrop notch and a 88.7 percent screen to body ratio. On the rear, it sports a triple camera setup, which includes a 50 megapixel AI camera, a 2 megapixel portrait lens, and a 2 megapixel macro sensor, while the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie camera. The device is available in two colors, namely Oxygen Blue and Oxygen Green, and two storage variants as well, with 4GB of RAM paired with either 64GB or 128GB of internal storage.

Narzo 50i

Along with the Narzo 50A, the Chinese smartphone maker also launched the new Narzo 50i as well. However, the company did not reveal any finer details regarding the device as of right now. But, a company executive did state that the smartphone will sport an octa core processor and will feature 2GB of RAM and 32GB of storage or 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage. This device is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery and will be available in Mint Green and Carbon Black color variants. Similarly to the Narzo 50A, it also offers memory expansion via MicroSD card slot. On the rear, it sports a lone 8 megapixel AI camera.

Pricing & Availability

The new Narzo 50 series will go on sale starting from 7th October 2021, which is also the first day of the Flipkart Big Billion Days sale in India. Looking at the prices:

• Narzo 50A (4GB + 64GB) – 11,499 INR (roughly 155 US Dollars)
• Narzo 50A (4GB + 128GB) – 12,499 INR (roughly 170 US Dollars)

Realme is expected to launch a new phone under the Narzo sub-brand. The Realme Narzo 50A was recently seen in several listings and now finally it has arrived on the Geekbench portal hours before its launch.

The smartphone has model number RMX3430 and has scored 387 single-core points and 1364 multi-core points. The device runs on Android 11 OS out of the box and has a motherboard – RM6769. It is powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. We expect the phone to have 64GB/128GB of internal storage.

Aside from this, the smartphone has passed multiple certifications like EEC, NBTC, and BIS certifications. It is touted to come with a 6.5-inch display and it may have an HD+ or Full-HD+ resolution. Going by its past renders, the device has a huge square-shaped camera island. It holds a triple camera system at the rear and has an 8MP selfie camera at the front.

The Realme Narzo 50A will support 4G connectivity and is expected to run on Realme UI out of the box. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom.

In related news, a few mysterious smartphones happened to pass by the TENAA certification. It had model numbers RMX3461, RMX3463 respectively and they come packing a 4,880mAh battery. The smartphones are expected to feature a 6.59-inch LTPS punch-hole screen and a 48MP triple camera system.

Chinese tech brand realme has scheduled a launch event for September 24 in India. A few hours back, we reported that realme Band 2 and realme 4K Google TV stick will be unveiled at this conference, As per the teasers on the brand’s official website and social media, these two devices will be also accompanied by realme narzo 50 series and realme Smart TV Neo 32”.

The realme narzo 50 series is in the news for the past few days. Yesterday, a report even tipped the lineup’s launch timeline. Now, we finally know that these devices will be announced on September 24.

The landing page on the realme website merely says realme narzo 50 series. It does not mention the name of the models that will be debuting next week. Going by previous reports, we can expect the company to announce realme narzo 50A and realme narzo 50i.

The realme narzo 50A is said to arrive with a MediaTek Helio G85 chipset, 50MP (wide) + 2MP (depth) + 2MP (macro) triple camera setup, and a 6,000mAh battery. These specs are also mentioned on the teaser page. Unfortunately, not much information is available about the realme narzo 50i.

Further, apart from these phones, realme will be also unveiling a smart television called realme Smart TV Neo 32”. As the name suggests, this TV will come with a 32-inch panel.

According to the landing page, the television will pack 20W dual speakers with support for Dolby Audio. Also, its display will have TÜV Rheinland certification for low blue light emission.

Interestingly, unlike other realme TVs, the upcoming model may not run Android TV. It could ship with some other software, however, the brand confirms that the television will have ‘YouTube 2021’ and other popular streaming platforms.

Apart from the above-mentioned details, we know nothing about the forthcoming realme narzo 50 series and realme Smart TV Neo 32”. But we expect to learn more about them, including the price ahead of the launch event.

Chinse tech brand realme just launched a couple of smartphones and its first tablet last week in India. Despite releasing three mobile devices,  the brand is still not done for September. According to new information, the company will be debuting the realme narzo 50 series by the end of this month.

As per a report by Moneycontrol, realme is expected to launch the realme narzo 50 series in India between September 20 and 24. The realme narzo 30 series successor will make its global debut in the country.

The sources of the publication do not mention the number of devices in the lineup. But we can expect at least four models, namely realme narzo 50, realme narzo 50 Pro, realme narzo 50A, and realme narzo 50i.

However, they do confirm the one device launching next week and that is realme narzo 50A. In fact, one of the brand’s executives recently corroborated the same on Twitter. There’s a chance that realme narzo 50i might tag along. 

On the other hand, we don’t see any possible launch of realme narzo 50 and realme narzo 50 Pro in India at the moment. But they are said to come in both 4G and 5G variants like their predecessors.

Lastly, two AIoT products such as realme Band 2 and realme TechLife Robot Vacuum could be announced alongside the realme narzo 50 series next week.
