<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme </a>has just launched a brand new smartphone from its popular Narzo series. The latest entry is the Narzo N53, which arrives a mere month after the company <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/12/realme-narzo-n55-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">announced the Narzo N55 </a>model. So let&#8217;s have a look.</p>

<h4>Realme Narzo N53 launched in India with gold filament coating</h4>

<p>The Chinese smartphones maker&#8217;s newest Narzo phone features a unique design. The rear of the device features a gold filament coating and what the company calls California Sunshine design. This makes the back panel shine when light hits its surface. Furthermore, it even has a relatively thin body, which measures in at just 7.49mm in thickness. Interestingly enough, the smartphone resembles the iPhone 14 Pro Max from the rear. Meanwhile, the front sports a tall 6.74 inch IPS LCD panel that has a Full HD+ resolution and 90Hz refresh rate. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="742" height="528" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-18-122220.png?x44794" alt="Realme" class="wp-image-537839" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-18-122220.png 742w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-18-122220-300x213.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-18-122220-696x495.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-18-122220-590x420.png 590w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-18-122220-100x70.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 742px) 100vw, 742px" /></figure></div>

<p>Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the UNISOC T612 SoC that is paired with up to 6GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 128GB of internal storage. It is powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports 33W fast charging, which can charge your device to 50 percent in just 34 minutes. On the rear, the Realme Narzo N53 features a 50 megapixel dual camera setup. On the other hand, the front houses an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. Other notable features include, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a microSD card slot for memory expansion, and a side mounted fingerprint scanner. </p>

<p>The brand has just announced the Realme Narzo N53 for the Indian market, which <a href="https://amzn.to/3pMZZFf" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener sponsored nofollow">starts for just 8,999 INR</a> for its 4GB + 64GB configuration. The higher end 6GB + 128GB model costs 10,000 INR, which makes this device a budget grade handset. The device is available in two variants, namely Feather Black and Feather Gold, and will go on sale on May 24 via Amazon and Realme&#8217;s official website.</p>

<p>It doesn’t look like new smartphone releases will stop anytime soon. Four brands have officially confirmed to debut new phones in the next few days.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The brands we are talking about are <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Oppo/">Oppo</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Realme/">Realme</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi/">Redmi</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Lava/">Lava</a>, and <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/HTC/">HTC</a>. The first four companies will announce products in India.</p>

<p>Both Realme and Redmi have confirmed to unveil budget models, while Oppo and Lava have revealed to take wraps off mid-range devices. On the other hand, HTC will release an upper mid-range phone with Viverse support.</p>

<p>Let’s check out these handsets one by one.</p>

<h2><strong>Upcoming Smartphones Next Week</strong></h2>

<div style="height:20px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Oppo F23 5G</strong></h3>

<p>The Oppo F23 5G is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/09/oppo-f23-5g-to-launch-in-india-on-may-15th-amazon-availability-confirmed/">set to launch</a> in India on May 15 (Monday). The device is said to cost ₹23,999 and will be available for purchase from May 18.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-1024x768.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo" class="wp-image-536232" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Fv0YBtvakAEVI2f-e1683797793489.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Going by the teasers and leaks, the phone will be a rebranded Oppo A98 5G that recently went official in Malaysia. Thus, it should arrive with features, such as a 120Hz FHD+ display (LCD), Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 SoC, a 40x microlens camera, and 67W fast charging support.</p>

<p>Since there was no F21, the F23 can be regarded as the successor of the 4G-only F19 with an AMOLED display. However, the newer handset will cost as much as the F21 Pro released last year.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Lava Agni 2 5G</strong></h3>

<p>The Lava Agni 2 5G <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/12/lava-agni-2-5g-to-launch-in-india-on-may-16-key-features-teased/">will be launched</a> in India on May 16 (Tuesday) at 12 PM IST. According to leaks and teaers, the successor of Agni will offer upgrades in multiple categories.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Lava Agni 2 5G" class="wp-image-535116" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y-746x420.jpg 746w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/photo_6248866894295708714_y.jpg 1157w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>It will be one of the few handsets in the sub-₹25,000 price segment with a curved display. It will be powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset.</p>

<p>Interesingly, it will flaunt a circular camera island like premium smartphones and the back panel will be even made of glass.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Realme Narzo N53</strong></h3>

<p>The Realme Narzo N53 is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/11/realme-narzo-n53-indian-launch-date/">scheduled to launch</a> in India on May 18 (Thursday) at 12 PM IST. Not much is known about this product, except for its design.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="529" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-536258" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-300x155.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-768x397.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-696x360.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-813x420.webp 813w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme</figcaption></figure>

<p>As per the official renders, the device will look like an iPhone Pro model. The brand claims that it will be its thinnest smartphone to date.</p>

<p>The handset is expected to come with a waterdrop notch and 33W fast charging support. Finally, it will be available in gold and black color options.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>HTC U23 Pro</strong></h3>

<p>The HTC U23 Pro <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/12/htc-u23-pro-to-launch-on-may-18/">will be unveiled</a> on May 18 (Thursday). It will be the first smartphone directly from the Taiwanese company after a long while.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2-1024x683.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-534514" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2-1024x683.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2-300x200.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2-768x512.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2-696x464.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2-1068x712.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2-630x420.webp 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/HTC-U23-Pro-5G-real-life-photo-2.webp 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>But unfortunately, as per leaks, it could be an ODM product since it will sport a generic design mimicking Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy S Ultra lineup. The main highlights of the device will be support for HTC’s metaverse platform Viverse and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 7 Gen 1 chipset.</p>

<p>Other expected features include a 108MP primary camera, a 120Hz centered punch-hole AMOLED display, a 4,500mAh battery, and wireless charging support.</p>

<div style="height:30px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Redmi A2 Series</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi A2 series is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/12/redmi-a2-series-india-launch/">confirmed to launch</a> in India on May 19 (Friday) at 11 AM IST. Usually, Xiaomi events take place at 12 PM IST in the country but this one will begin an hour earlier.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="707" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-1024x707.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi A2" class="wp-image-525154" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-1024x707.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-300x207.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-768x531.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-218x150.jpg 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-696x481.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-1068x738.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-608x420.jpg 608w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1-100x70.jpg 100w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/Redmi-A2-1.jpg 1116w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Since the Redmi A2 lineup is already official in some markets, we know everything about it. Just like its predecessor, the series includes two models, namely Redmi A2 and Redmi A2 Plus. The latter has a fingerprint sensor, which is the only difference between them.</p>

<p>The phones offer an HD+ display, MediaTek Helio G36 chip, 8MP rear camera, 5MP front-facing camera, 5,000mAh battery, and 10W charging support.</p>

<p>After the recent debut of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/10/realme-11-series-china-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme 11 series in China</a>, the brand has now shifted its focus to the Indian market, with the intention of launching a value-for-money device in the budget range. It is now confirmed that the brand will be launching the Realme Narzo N53 in India soon.</p>

<h2>Realme Narzo N53 looks like the iPhone 14 Pro</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="529" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-536258" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-300x155.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-768x397.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-696x360.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Realme-Narzo-N53-1-1024x529-1-813x420.webp 813w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme Narzo N53</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The brand&#8217;s official website has revealed that the Narzo N53 will be launching on May 18th, at 12 Noon in India. This will be the second N50-series device in <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme</a>&#8216;s camp after the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/12/realme-narzo-n55-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">launch</a> of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-narzo-n55/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Narzo N55</a> last month (check out <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/28/realme-narzo-n55-review-striving-to-impress-in-multiple-departments/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme N55 review</a>). As for availability, the Realme Narzo N53 will be available via Amazon and Realme e-store as we spotted the device tease page on both websites.</p>

<p>The brand has also teased the design of the divide which is surprisingly similar to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-14-pro-max/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 14 Pro</a>. It is worth noting that the Narzon N55 features an Apple Dynamic Island-like notification bubble function. So it will be interesting to see if the brand decides to add that feature here too, making it more of an iPhone 14 Pro clone.</p>

<p>Besides that, the brand is also claiming that the Narzo N53 will be the slimmest Realme phone ever. This could mean that we are looking at a width of around 7mm or below. A <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/10/realme-narzo-n53-teased-india/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">leak from yesterday</a> revealed that the device will have up to 16GB of Dynamic RAM and feature 33W fast charging support.</p>

<p>According to the report, the phone will come with 5G support and will be offered in Feather Black and Feather Gold color variants. It is speculated that the Feather Gold option might be marketed as the California Sunshine Design, as hinted at in an official teaser. More information is expected to surface as we get closer to the launch. So, stay tuned.</p>

<h2>Realme Narzo N53 specs leaked</h2>

<p>As per the metadata on the <a href="https://event.realme.com/in/realme-narzo-slimmest-smartphone" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">official website</a>, the phone will support up to 16GB of Dynamic RAM and 33W fast charging. Additionally, Realme has teased its slimmest smartphone on its website, and the source code has revealed that it is the Narzo N53. We can safely assume the 16GB Dynamic RAM, will be a combination of 8GB physical RAM and 8GB virtual RAM.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="598" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519-1024x598.png?x44794" alt="Realme" class="wp-image-535956" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519-1024x598.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519-300x175.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519-768x449.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519-696x407.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519-1068x624.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519-719x420.png 719w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/05/Screenshot-2023-05-10-151519.png 1395w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Earlier reports suggest that the Realme Narzo N53 will come with 5G connectivity and will be available in Feather Black and Feather Gold color options. The device is also expected to come in two storage variants, namely 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB. Additionally, it is rumored to be priced below Rs. 13,000. To get an idea of what to expect from the upcoming Narzo N53, we can look at the specifications of its predecessor, the Narzo N55. It is possible that the N53 may be a slightly toned-down version of the N55.</p>

<h2>Realme Narzo N55 specs</h2>

<p>Equipped with a large 6.72-inch IPS LCD panel, the Realme Narzo N55 features a high refresh rate of 90Hz and an HD+ resolution. The device boasts a dual-camera system at the back, with a 64-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. Meanwhile, the front camera is an 8-megapixel shooter.</p>

<p>The month of May will be as busy as April if not more in terms of smartphone launches. Only 3 events are officially confirmed so far. But there are multiple other expected conferences, the dates for which should be revealed in the coming days.</p>

<p>We are looking forward to new product releases from a whopping 12 brands. Apple and Samsung are the only major companies that might not debut new phones. Though the latter may introduce certain already announced handsets in newer markets.</p>

<p>These forthcoming devices will be spread across different price segments. Most of the phones on the list are being launched ahead of the 618 shopping festival in China, which annually occurs during mid to late June.</p>

<p>That does not mean there won’t be any global releases. In fact, we will be witnessing the debut of some of the most anticipated smartphones of 2023.</p>

<p>With that out of the way, let’s go through all the handouts that are about to launch in May.</p>

<h2><strong>Upcoming Smartphones in May 2023</strong></h2>

<h3><strong>Poco F5 Series</strong></h3>

<p>The Poco F5 series <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/26/poco-f5-f5-pro-global-launch-date-announced-pro-model-wont-launch-in-india/">will be unveiled</a> on May 9 at 8 PM GMT+8. The lineup will include two devices, namely Poco F5 and Poco F5 Pro.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/POCO-F5-Pro-render-black-and-white-1024x576-1.png?x44794" alt="Poco" class="wp-image-533467" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/POCO-F5-Pro-render-black-and-white-1024x576-1.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/POCO-F5-Pro-render-black-and-white-1024x576-1-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/POCO-F5-Pro-render-black-and-white-1024x576-1-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/POCO-F5-Pro-render-black-and-white-1024x576-1-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/POCO-F5-Pro-render-black-and-white-1024x576-1-747x420.png 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Poco F5 Pro</figcaption></figure>

<p>The standard and pro variants will be rebranded Redmi Note 12 Turbo and Redmi K60, respectively. They will be even sold in original Redmi colors instead of the usual Poco color schemes.</p>

<p>Just like the last Poco F Pro model (Poco F2 Pro), the Poco F5 Pro will not be sold in India. The vanilla F5 will come with 256GB as standard and is tipped to cost below ₹30,000 in India and $500 in other regions.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Realme 11 Series</strong></h3>

<p>The Realme 11 series is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/26/realme-11-series-launch-date-officially-confirmed-heres-what-known-so-far/">scheduled to launch</a> in China on May 10 at 4 PM GMT+8. The lineup is said to consist of three handsets, such as Realme 11, Realme 11 Pro, and Realme 11 Pro Plus.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/realme-11-Pro-Plus-teaser-1024x576-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme 11 Pro Plus" class="wp-image-533440" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/realme-11-Pro-Plus-teaser-1024x576-1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/realme-11-Pro-Plus-teaser-1024x576-1-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/realme-11-Pro-Plus-teaser-1024x576-1-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/realme-11-Pro-Plus-teaser-1024x576-1-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/realme-11-Pro-Plus-teaser-1024x576-1-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme 11 Pro Plus</figcaption></figure>

<p>However, the brand has been only teasing the ‘Pro+’ variant. This version will not only have a leather back but also an OIS-assisted 200MP main camera and a curved display. It will be powered by the newly announced MediaTek Dimensity 7050 chipset.</p>

<p>These phones are also tipped to release in India this month. But we don’t have a date for it so far.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Google Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a</strong></h3>

<p>The 2023 edition of Google I/O will begin on May 10. The search giant is expected to take wraps off the Pixel Fold and Pixel 7a during the opening keynote of its developer conference, which will begin at 10 AM PT.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="538" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold-1024x538.webp?x44794" alt="Google Pixel Fold" class="wp-image-533657" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold-1024x538.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold-300x158.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold-768x403.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold-696x365.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold-1068x561.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold-800x420.webp 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Google-Pixel-Fold.webp 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Google Pixel Fold</figcaption></figure>

<p>The Pixel Fold will be the company’s first foldable smartphone. The water-resistant foldable <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/29/google-pixel-fold-surfaces-in-leaked-marketing-images-ahead-of-launch/">will feature</a> a 7.6-inch horizontal foldable display and a 5.8-inch external screen. It is said to cost around $1,700.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the Pixel 7a will be the seventh-gen affordable Pixel A series handset. It will <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/27/google-pixel-7a-spec-sheet-leaks/">offer several upgrades</a> over Pixel 6a, like a 90Hz display, Tensor G2 chip, and OIS-assisted 64MP primary camera, and more.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Sony Xperia 1 V</strong></h3>

<p>The Sony Xperia 1 V is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/27/sony-xperia-1-v-to-launch-in-japan-on-may-11/">set to launch</a> on May 11 at 6 AM CEST. Unfortunately, not much is known about this upcoming flagship phone from the Japanese electronics giant.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="581" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-1024x581.png?x44794" alt="Sony Xperia 1 V" class="wp-image-514869" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-1024x581.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-300x170.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-768x436.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-1536x872.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-696x395.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-1068x606.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina-740x420.png 740w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/02/Sony-Xperia-1V-1-Gizmochina.png 1623w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Sony Xperia 1 V</figcaption></figure>

<p>Rumors say that it will arrive with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC, a 4K 120Hz OLED display, a 12MP (wide) + 12MP (periscope) + 48MP (ultra-wide) triple camera system, a shutter button, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a 5,000mAh battery.</p>

<p>The device may or may not be accompanied by Xperia 5 V and Xperia 10 V.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Motorola Razr 2023 Series and Edge 40</strong></h3>

<p>For the first time, the revived Razr lineup will have two models in a single generation. They are said to be called Razr 40 and Razr 40 Ultra. The latter will have the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/28/motorola-razr-40-ultras-latest-leak-reveals-cover-foldable-display-sizes-main-camera-new-marketing-images/">largest cover screen</a> on a clamshell foldable handset to date.</p>

<p>Whereas, the Edge 40 will be a toned-down version of Edge 40 Pro with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/01/motorola-edge-40-promo-video-leaks/">some interesting features</a>. <h3><strong>Honor 90 Series</strong></h3>

<p>The Honor 90 series is <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/02/05/honor-90-series-launch-in-may/">tipped</a> to launch in May, however, its release could be delayed until June. The successor of the Honor 80 series is rumored to bring upgrades in the camera and performance departments.</p>

The pro version <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/01/iqoo-neo-8-pro-passes-3c-certification/">will also come</a> with faster LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage.</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

<h3><strong>Realme Narzo N53</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="611" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55-1024x611.png?x44794" alt="Realme Narzo N55" class="wp-image-530725" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55-1024x611.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55-300x179.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55-768x458.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55-696x415.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55-1068x637.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55-704x420.png 704w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/04/Realme-Narzo-N55.png 1459w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme Narzo N55</figcaption></figure>

<p>We only <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/04/28/realme-11-narzo-n53-storage-color/">have details</a> on the device’s memory configurations, colors, and possible price range for now. It is said to start under ₹13,000 and will be available in two memory variants (4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB) and two colors (Feather Black and Feather Gold).</p>

<div style="height:50px" aria-hidden="true" class="wp-block-spacer"></div>

Notably, this arrives soon after the brand announced the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-narzo-n55/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Narzo N55</a> model.</p>

<p>Similar to the Realme 11 series, the sources also revealed the Narzo N53&#8217;s storage configurations and color variants. For those unaware, the Narzo N53 will likely be a 4G enabled model that will come in a 4GB + 64GB and 6GB + 128GB storage configurations. Furthermore, the Narzo N53 model will launch in a Feather Black and Feather Gold option. While finer details regarding this device is still unclear, it is believed to have a price tag under 13,000 INR (roughly 159 US Dollars). </p>
