Realme has launched the Realme P4 5G in India along with the P4 Pro 5G. Like the Pro variant, the brand has packed the P4 5G with a massive battery, along with a powerful processor and a bright AMOLED display.

Realme P4 5G specs

The Realme P4 5G features a 6.77-inch Full HD+ HyperGlow AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, peak brightness of 4500 nits, and 3840Hz PWM dimming with hardware-level blue light reduction.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 Ultra 5G processor paired with a Pixelworks visual chip for better graphics and frame stability. It comes with up to 12GB RAM, expandable to 14GB with virtual RAM, and UFS 3.1 storage. The phone uses a 7000mm² AirFlow VC Cooling System to control heat during long gaming sessions or 4K video recording.

The rear camera setup includes a 50MP OV50D40 main sensor with f/1.8 aperture and an 8MP ultra-wide camera with f/2.2 aperture. The front has a 16MP Sony IMX480 camera with f/2.4 aperture. Both front and rear cameras support up to 4K 30fps video recording. AI features like AI Landscape are included.

The phone runs Android 15 with realme UI 6.0 and will get 3 Android OS updates and 4 years of security updates. The 7000mAh Titan Battery supports 80W fast charging, reaching 50% in 25 minutes. Realme claims up to 11 hours of BGMI gameplay. It also supports AI Smart Charging, Bypass Charging for gaming, and reverse charging.

Other features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, infrared sensor, stereo speakers, USB Type-C audio, and IP65 + IP66 dust and splash resistance. Connectivity options include 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.2, GPS/GLONASS/Beidou, and USB Type-C. The phone measures 163.34×75.88×7.58mm, weighs 185g, and has a Metal Heart design with exposed screws. Color options are Steel Grey, Engine Blue, and Forge Red.

Realme has confirmed that its next P series smartphones, the Realme P4 and P4 Pro, will launch in India on August 20, 2025. The announcement came from Realme’s Global Head of Marketing, Francis Wong, who also confirmed that the series will be sold online through Flipkart, including Flipkart Minutes.

The Flipkart microsite for the P4 Pro 5G is already live, showing key specifications. The phone runs on a dual-chip setup that combines the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor with the Hyper Vision AI GPU chip. Realme says this setup delivers 144 FPS gaming and Ultra HD graphics that go beyond native quality. The P4 Pro has scored more than 1,110,000 points on AnTuTu, placing it ahead of rivals using Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 and Dimensity 7400 chipsets.

The phone features a 144Hz HyperGlow 4D Curve+ display with a 1.5K resolution, HDR10+ certification, peak brightness of 6500 nits, and support for 1.07 billion colors. Realme claims the panel is 20 percent smoother than standard 120Hz displays.

Power comes from a 7000mAh Titan Battery with 80W Ultra Charging. The company says it can fully charge in 47 minutes and deliver up to 17 hours of video playback. Despite the large battery, the device remains slim and lightweight.

The design includes a flat frame and a rectangular triple-camera setup. The camera system is powered by AI, but full details have not yet been shared. The P4 Pro will be sold in Blue, Dark Green, and Light Gold.

The P4 will be available in Engine Blue, Steel Gray, and Forge Red, while the P4 Pro will also come in Midnight Ivy, Dark Oak Wood, and Birch Wood. The top 12GB+256GB variant will only be offered in Dark Oak Wood and Birch Wood. Both phones will ship with Android 15 and will receive three major OS updates and four years of security patches.

As for pricing, the Realme P4 Pro is said to cost below ₹30,000, while the regular P4 5G will start from ₹17,499.

Realme has announced the price of its upcoming P4 5G in India, just days ahead of its official launch on August 20. A company executive revealed on X that the phone will start at Rs 17,499.

The full list of RAM and storage options hasn’t been disclosed yet, but Realme has teased some key specifications.

The Realme P4 5G features a 6.77-inch flat AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution, a 144Hz refresh rate, and 10-bit color depth. Realme claims the panel can reach up to 4,500 nits of peak brightness and supports a 240Hz touch sampling rate along with 453ppi pixel density.

Under the hood, the phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 7400 chipset. However, the real highlight, according to Realme, is that it is the only phone under Rs 20,000 with a dedicated graphics chip. It comes with the Hyper Vision AI chip for gaming and has a 7000mm2 cooling system to keep thermals in control. It is paired with a 7,000mAh battery and 80W fast charging.

On the camera front, the P4 5G houses a 50MP f/1.8 primary sensor, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 16MP front-facing camera for selfies and video calls.

On the software side, the device runs Android 15 with Realme UI 6.0 on top. Additional features include an in-display fingerprint sensor, dual stereo speakers, and IP65/IP66-rated protection. Connectivity options include 5G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, USB-C, and GPS.

Realme will also debut the P4 Pro 5G at the same event. Unlike the standard P4, the Pro variant will use the Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor and offer a 144Hz HDR10+ display with a much higher 6,500 nits peak brightness. It will also share the same 7,000mAh battery with 80W charging.

Buyers will have three color choices: Engine Blue, Steel Gray, and Forge Red. This device will succeed the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4-powered Realme P3 5G, which debuted in the first half of this year.

Arriving as the successor to Realme P3 Pro 5G, which debuted earlier this year, the Realme P4 Pro 5G is said to arrive in options like 8GB+128GB, 8GB+256GB, and 12GB+256GB.

However, the top-end variant is expected to skip the Midnight Ivy option. Positioned in the mid-range price bracket, the P4 Pro could be priced around Rs 25,000, aligning with the launch price of its predecessor.

The source hasn’t shared any details about the other specs of the Realme P4 and P4 Pro. However, the leak states that Realme is expected to unveil the P4 series in the final days of August, with sales potentially beginning in early September.
