Realme launched its first tablet dubbed Realme Pad back in September in India. The tablet offered budget-centric specs and came at an affordable price. Now, MySmartPrice reveales that there is another Realme Pad launch lined up for the Indian market. The publication has shared some highlights of the forthcoming tablet.

The publication reveals that there’s a new Realme Pad for the Indian market which may launch soon. This tablet device will be powered by a UNISOC chipset and will boot on Android 11 OS out of the box. Furthermore, the tablet has the model number RMP2106 and it has already passed the Bureau of Indian Standards(BIS) certification.

To recall, a mysterious Realme tablet was earlier spotted on Geekbench. However, it has a slightly different model number – RMP2105. It could be that it is just a variant of this tipped upcoming Realme Pad.

Also, a Realme Pad was seen on Camera FV-5. It revealed the camera details of the tablet. As per the app, the tablet has 8-megapixel rear camera with an f/1.68 aperture and 27.9mm focal length. On the front end, it has a 5MP selfie camera with an f/1.8 aperture and 27.7mm focal length. This device has the model number – RMP2106.

Realme is yet to officially speak about this upcoming Realme Pad tablet. However, the company recently took a survey about Realme tablets. Seemingly the company is working on a Realme Pad and it asked for some feedback for the same. So, we can expect a new tablet from the company in the coming months.

Smartphone brand realme has finally entered the tablet category with the launch of realme Pad in India. The company’s first tablet is a budget offering and it is priced lower than what the leak suggested yesterday. It also happens to be the most powerful tablet in its price segment.

realme Pad Specifications and Features

The realme Pad features a metal body design that comes in two colors, namely Real Gold and Real Grey. It measures 246.1 x 155.9 x 6.9mm in dimensions and weighs 440g.

The tablet sports a 10.4-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 2000×1200 pixels (WUXGA+), 16.7 million colors, 82.5% screen-to-body ratio, and 360 nits brightness. The screen supports Reading Mode, Dark Mode, Night Mode, and Sunlight Mode.

The device is powered by a MediaTek Helio G80 SoC coupled with up to 4GB RAM and 64GB storage. If needed, the storage can be further expanded up to 1TB via a MicroSD card slot.

For connectivity, the product comes with dual-band WiFi 5, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS (GPS, A-GPS, GLONASS, BeiDou), and a USB Type-C port. There are also LTE variants for interested customers.

Talking about software, the tablet runs realme UI for Pad based on Android 11. It comes with multi-user support as well as Google Kids Space. The software also lets users use two apps side by side.

Other features of the device include Hi-Res Audio-certified quad speakers with support for Dolby Atmos, dual microphones, two 8MP cameras for front and back, ambient light sensor, accelerometer, gyroscope, and compass.

Last but not least, the product is backed by a 7,100mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging and reverse charging. The only thing it is lacking for a budget tablet is a 3.5mm headphone jack.

realme Pad Price and Availability

The realme Pad will retail for the following price tags in India.

3GB + 32GB (WiFi-only) – ₹13,999 ($190)
3GB + 32GB (WiFi + LTE) – ₹15,999 ($218)
4GB + 64GB (WiFi + LTE) – ₹17,999 ($245)

The first sale of the tablet is scheduled for September 16 at 12 PM. It will be available across Flipkart, realme.com, and partner retail stores. Unfortunately, the base variant will be hitting the shelves later.

Customers can avail up to ₹2,000 instant discounts on HDFC Bank debit/credit cards and EMI. Buyers opting for ICICI Bank credit card and credit card EMI transactions are also eligible for a flat ₹1,000 discount.

Realme Pad confirmed to pack a 7,100 mAh battery with 18W Quick Charge

Realme aims to make greater inroads into the tablet market with the upcoming Realme Pad expected to launch soon. The slate has been confirmed to feature an 18W USB-C charging and will debut with a monster 7100mAh battery. This much was revealed by Realme CEO Madhav Sheth in a recent tweet.

The tweet also confirms the Realme Pad will adopt a slim and lightweight build with the thickness put at just 6.9 mm. The display is shown to be a 10.4-inch Widescreen Ultra Extended Graphics Array plus (WUVGA+) screen with a resolution of 2000 X 1200 pixels. The display also has a wide aspect ratio and a screen-to-body ratio of 82.5%, allowing an immersive view.

The 7,100 mAh battery offers users up to 12 hours of video playback on a full charge. Of course, the battery life is further extended when the tablet is used for fewer video activities and even longer on standby, given as a staggering 65 days. The Realme Pad has been on the radar of some tipsters lately. As per earlier leaks, we know that the device will be powered by MediaTek Helio G80 chipset. The Geekbench listing of the Realme Pad indicates that it offers two variants in terms of the RAM, which is either 4GB or 6GB, with 64GB of internal storage.

The device is expected to be launched in India on September 9.

Earlier today, realme confirmed that its first-ever tablet called realme Pad will be launching in India on September 9. It will be unveiled alongside the realme 8i and the realme 8s. Ahead of the official announcement, the key features of this product have emerged on the internet.

Tipster Yogesh Brar has tweeted the primary specs of the upcoming realme Pad. According to him, the tablet will feature a sleek and light design with materials like aluminum alloy and plastic.

Further, it will sport a 10.4-inch display, which could be an AMOLED panel. The device will be powered by a MediaTek G80 chipset as hinted by a Geekbench listing a few days back.

Although the tablet will have LPDDR4x RAM, it will come with inferior eMMC5.1 storage. As far as capacity is concurrent, it is said to arrive with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage with support for MicroSD cards.

Like most tablets, this one will be also equipped with quad-speakers with support for DTS HD and Hi-Res Audio. However, as per renders, it will lack a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As per previous reports, the realme Pad will have an 8MP rear camera. It will be available in WiFi-only and cellular (LTE) variants with up to 6GB RAM. Last but not least, the device will run Android 11 and will be backed by a 7,100mAh battery.

As of now, it’s not known how much will the realme Pad cost in India. But Yogesh says that it will be priced competitively.

Realme is on course for the unveiling of the Realme Pad within this quarter, according to projections. It would seem that we are getting closer to the launch of the latest Realme tablet, going by the raft of teasers, renders, and rumors relating to the device.

We already knew that the soon-to-be-released Realme Pad will come with a 10.4-inch display, 6GB of RAM, and 64GB of internal memory, thanks to previous renders and rumors surrounding the device. The tablet will also have a 7,100mAh battery and beautiful bezels around its screen. The processor that the device will sport as well as other key details are not known.

New renders of the Realme Pad have just surfaced online. The images reveal that the device will have a Gold variant with an aluminum body, as well as a Grey version. The images also reveal a dual-tone finish at the back, a small cutout at the bottom of the tablet to house its stylus, and a single rear camera setup.

We also knew previously that there is a MicroSD slot to expand the internal storage of the device, a quad speakers system, and USB-C support. In addition to the 8MP rear camera with autofocus capability, there is an 8MP front camera.

Not much is known yet of some other features of the Realme Pad. The mileage that 7,100mAh battery packs have not been specified. We are also still in the dark on the pricing and availability details of the device, as well as the actual release date. However, it is expected that as we inch closer to the eventual unveiling of the device, more details as per specs, pricing, and availability information would be out.

Realme Pad appears in real skin in the wild revealing an ultra-thin build

In the early part of June this year, Chinese tech giant Realme was rumored to be planning to launch what will be its first tablet. The company later confirmed the slate will be named Realme Pad and will launch alongside the Realme Book, its first laptop. The tech giant has even released a teaser poster of the tablet.

While we are yet to know when the tablet will be launched, a couple of unofficial images of the Realme Pad has been spotted in the hands of an unidentified female user. The images give us our first real-life look at the slate. They not only reveal the rear aspect but also the front.

The back looks like what is made from metal, perhaps aluminum. It bears a single camera that is located on the left side of the rear panel. The front screen reveals quite sizable bezels are the top and bottom end of the panel. The tablet equally comes with square edges, a feature that has been teased previously. It also features an ultra-thin build which suggests it will be lightweight.

Realme is ye to reveal the specifications of the Realme Pad. However, it is expected to come with a mid-range configuration and should run Android 11 out of the box. Realme has released more details of the Realme Book laptop than that of the tablet. We expect more details to emerge as the launch draws closer.
