Later, the brand was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/07/31/oppos-vp-sky-li-resigns-to-become-ceo-of-the-now-autonomous-realme-brand/">split from its parent company</a> to work as an independent firm, which is being headed by Sky Li, former Vice President of Oppo.</p>
<p>While the company started its operations from India, it has been steadily expanding its geographical presence and is currently present in six countries, including Vietnam, Malaysia, Indonesia, Thailand, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/11/20/realme-entering-philippines-november-29/">Phillippines</a>. Now, the company is all set to expand operations to the seventh country, Pakistan.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-227707 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/realme-pakistan.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme Pakistan" width="1280" height="474" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/realme-pakistan.jpg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/realme-pakistan-300x111.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/realme-pakistan-768x284.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/12/realme-pakistan-1024x379.jpg 1024w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /></p>
<p>The announcement regarding Realme&#8217;s arrival in Pakistan was made through the official account of Realme Pakistan on Facebook. While there&#8217;s nothing much known about the company&#8217;s plan in Pakistan, it&#8217;s known that the phones will be available for purchase through online as well as offline stores.</p>
<p>So far, Realme has launched five smartphones, which include Realme 1, 2, 2 Pro, C1, and the latest Realme U1. The company has not yet revealed which phones will be launched in Pakistan, but we expect the company to introduce its recently launched devices, including U1, Realme 2, 2 Pro, and the entry-level C1.</p>
<p>In India, Realme U1 is the company&#8217;s latest smartphone and the first one under its new U-series focused towards the selfie-loving users. The phone is also the world&#8217;s first to be powered by MediaTek&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/10/24/mediatek-announces-helio-p70-brings-improvements-over-the-p60/">Helio P70 octa-core processor</a> which features Cortex-A73 and Cortex A53 cores in the same 4+4 arrangement, coupled with ARM Mali-G72 GPU.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-225093" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Realme-U1-2.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme U1" width="583" height="500" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Realme-U1-2.jpg 708w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Realme-U1-2-300x257.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/11/Realme-U1-2-95x80.jpg 95w" sizes="(max-width: 583px) 100vw, 583px" /></p>
<p>It boasts a 6.3-inch Full HD+ dewdrop display with 90.8 percent screen-t0-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The phone comes in two memory configurations — 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage and 4GB RAM with 64GB of internal storage with a microSD card slot that enables users to further expand the phone’s storage capacity up to 256GB.</p>
<p>As for the camera configuration, it features a dual camera setup on the back, consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. On the front side, the phone comes equipped with a 25-megapixel <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/sony/">Sony</a> IMX576 sensor with f/2.0 aperture. The phone is running Android 8.1 Oreo operating system out of the box with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/coloros/">ColorOS</a> 5.2 on top and is powered by a 3,500mAh battery.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong>Read More: </strong><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/12/06/realme-u1-200000-units-sold-india/"><strong>Realme sold over 200,000 units of Realme U1 in its flash first sale in India within six minutes</strong></a></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>The pricing of the Realme U1 starts at Rs. 11,999 (approximately $170) while the company&#8217;s entry-level phone &#8212; C1 &#8212; is available for Rs. 7,499 (approx. $105). We are expecting the phones to be priced similar in Pakistan as well.</p>
