Realme Techlife has officially been rebranded to Realme Narzo

Realme has just announced a major overhaul for its Techlife lifestyle sub brand. The company is now rebranding the Techlife series to include it into its more popular Narzo lineup. So here are all the details.

The Chinese smartphone maker is basically moving its Techlife branding to its Narzo sub brand. For those unaware, the Realme Techlife had launched disruptive yet low cost AIOT based lifestyle product. As of right now, the company is also directing its Techlife product fans towards its Narzo lineup, including its social media accounts. In other words, we can soon expect to see Narzo branded AIOT products launch in the future.

Unfortunately, it is unclear as to what Realme’s plans are for the DIZO brand, which was previously under the company’s Techlife ecosystem. So, it might also move under the Narzo branding as well. This was a surprise announcement from Realme that was pretty unexpected. However, it would likely have no major impact on the company’s Techlife ecosystem in general. Meaning, we could still expect seamless integration of the Realme Link app for all of its products, even after they are moved to Narzo.

Apart from the branding, there shouldn’t be any other changes in direction for these lifestyle products. Finer details are still at large, although, we should get to know more about any changes in the coming months.

Realme 4-in-1 Convertible Inverter Air Conditioner Launched in India

Realme TechLife has just launched a new product in the Indian market. The latest device is a home appliance, which is the new 4-in-1 convertible inverter air conditioner ahead of the summer season. So here are all the details.

The Chinese smartphone maker’s TechLife brand focuses on various kinds of accessories and home appliances and the latest Realme 4-in-1 AC is the newest addition to its product portfolio in India. The new AC will be offered in two variants, which is the 1 ton and 1.5 ton capacities. As per official notes, the new AC comes with the Rapid Cooling feature that basically implies that it offers increased airflow for a better cooling effect in just about 20 minutes.

It also offers support for the Flexi Control technology for users to control the AC at different capacities based on the basis of the number of people in the room. This also makes the new AC more energy efficient as well. Apart from this, the air conditioner also arrives with an Inverter Technology with a variable speed compressor for faster and more efficient cooling to help converve power and make the compressor last longer.

According to Madhav Sheth, the CEO of Realme India and VP, “The new range of 4-in-1 Convertible with Flexi Control Inverter Air Conditioners offer more features, efficiency, durability, and flexibility to customers. We are thrilled to reach out to millions of customers across the country with Flipkart and provide them access to our state of the art product portfolio.” The new AC starts from 28,499 INR for the 1 ton model, while the 1.5 ton variant costs 33,999 INR. Both models will be available for purchase exclusively from Flipkart.

Dizo Buds P launched with 40-hour battery life, ENC, and more

As scheduled, the Realme-affiliated brand Dizo has launched a new pair of truly wireless earphones in India. The product called Dizo Buds P is priced at ₹1,599 ($20) in the country. However, it will be sold at a discounted price tag of ₹1,299 ($16) for a limited time. The audio accessory will be available for purchase starting at 12 PM on July 5 via Flipkart.

The Dizo Buds P feature an Apple AirPods-esque design. In other words, the buds have a stem. However, the charging case is ovular in shape.

The buds feature 13mm drivers and weigh 3.5g each. They are IPX4-certified for splash resistance.

Apart from touch controls, the buds also carry support for 88ms low latency gaming mode and ENC (Environmental Noise Cancellation). They connect to devices via Bluetooth 5.2 and can be configured using the Realme Link app.

Each bud houses a 40mAh battery. They can last up to 7 hours on a full charge. With the charging case that has a 480mAh battery, the product is rated to provide an endurance of 40 hours. Despite being affordable, the case sports a USB Type-C port for charging and ships with a cable.

Last but not least, the Dizo Buds P are offered in three variants. They are officially called Dynamo Black, Marble White, and Shady Blue.

Realme TechLife Watch R100 all set to officially launch in India on June 23

Realme has announced that the company will be launching its new wearable device in the Indian market, dubbed Realme TechLife Watch R100, in the Indian market on 23rd June.

The launch of this new smartwatch will take place just days after the company launches the Realme C30 smartphone, which is set to go official tomorrow, i.e. 20th June.

In terms of design, the teaser images shared by the company showcase the smartwatch having a circular aluminum alloy body with a matte rear cover. There are two buttons on the right side, similar to the Watch S and Watch S Pro from the brand.

As for the specifications, the Realme TechLife Watch R100 sports a 1.32-inch TFT LCD color display that offers a screen resolution of 360 x 360 pixels.

It will come with support for Bluetooth calling which will enable users to make phone calls when the device is connected to a smartphone. The product will be powered by a 380mAh battery that will provide up to seven days of battery life.

The company has confirmed that the Realme TechLife Watch R100 will come in two color options — White and Black. It remains to be seen if the company offers the strap in different color options for customization.

It will be available for purchase in India through the online marketplace Flipkart but to know the pricing and other details, we will have to wait for the official launch.

DIZO Watch S with AMOLED display launching next month in India: Report

The Realme TechLife sub-brand Dizo recently launched its first AMOLED display smartwatch in the Indian market dubbed the Dizo Watch R. And now, news has emerged that the brand is working on another AMOLED display smartwatch that it plans to launch soon.

According to a MySmartPrice report, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed that the brand is working to launch a new smartwatch called the Dizo Watch S. The tipster states that we can expect the new smart wearable to launch in March 2022.

Pricing and most of the key specs of the Watch S remain unknown, however, the smartwatch is touted to be budget-friendly so we can expect prices below Rs. 5000 (~$67).

Dizo Watch R

Information about the specs of the Watch S have yet to surface, however, we can look at the Dizo Watch R for reference which was released last month.

The Watch R features a round-shaped dial with a 1.3-inch AMOLED display and 360 x 360 pixels resolution. The smartwatch is equipped with a premium metallic frame and offers 5ATM water and dust resistance. Additionally, the device also features a fancy 2.5D curved glass.

The Dizo Watch R comes with the Always-On Display (AOD) feature and more than 150 customizable watch faces. The Watch R offers up to 12 days of battery life and fully charges in about 2 hours. The Dizo Watch R offers a bunch of health and fitness features like a heart rate tracker, SpO2 tracker, 110+ sports modes, sleep monitor, and more. The Watch R also offers the usual smartwatch functionalities such as music playback control, phone camera control, check notifications and incoming calls, etc.

The Dizo Watch R launched at an introductory price of Rs 3,499 (~$47) in India. After which the price was hiked to Rs 3,999 (~$54). So we might see a similar trend with the upcoming Dizo Watch S launch in March.

Realme only launched its realme TechLife sub-brand DIZO in India back in July 2021, but the DIZO sub-brand already has a wide range of devices under its belt ranging from wireless earbuds, smartwatches, hairdryers, and even beard trimmers for sale.

Well, Realme is planning to continue the momentum of its hot new sub-brand with a new affordable smartwatch, the Realme DIZO Watch R. Twitter user and popular Indian leakster, Mukul Sharma, shared on his social media as of late that the Realme DIZO Watch R will be coming soon to the market, and that the device will be launching first in India.

In the post, he also attached the images of the box that comes with the Realme DIZO Watch R. The box shows off the design of the Realme DIZO Watch R, and the watch seems to be a circular dial watch in the color option of what seems to be either rose gold or mystic bronze. The box also mentions that the Realme DIZO Watch R is part of the realme TechLife family of IoT products.

In the replies, Mukul Sharma also mentions that the Realme DIZO Watch R is equipped with a 1.3-inch screen. No other details such as specs, battery capacity, or the release date of the watch were revealed, but from what we have gathered from previous leaks, the Realme DIZO Watch R will be launching in January 2022, with the DIZO Watch 2 Special Sports Edition launching together with it on the same launch event as well. The Realme DIZO Watch R is claimed to be the affordable sibling compared to its more expensive brothers, the Realme DIZO Watch 2 and DIZO Watch 2 Pro.

In comparison, the DIZO Watch 2 comes with a 1.69-inch TFT LCD display, while the Watch 2 Pro sports a 1.75-inch TFT LCD screen. The duo comes with features like a SpO2 sensor, heart-rate monitoring, sleep tracking, camera & music controls, and call & SMS alerts. The Watch 2 has 15 sports modes and a battery life of 10 days, whereas, the Watch 2 Pro has a whopping 90 sports modes and 14 days of battery life. The DIZO Watch R is expected to cut the unnecessary gimmicks of its expensive siblings to reach a more affordable price tag.

DIZO Buds Z entire features officially revealed ahead of Sept. 23 launch

DIZO, the first and the only brand under realme TechLife is all set to launch yet another truly wireless earphones in India. These TWS earbuds called DIZO Buds Z have been already listed on the brand’s official website as well as Flipkart with every detail about them, except for pice.

The realme DIZO Buds Z are unlike other wireless earbuds from the brand. In other words, they are not a rebranded realme product. Perhaps, the original realme version might launch later.

Talking about the design, these buds feature smaller stems. They only weigh 3.7g each come in three colors, namely Onyx, Leaf, and Pearl.

Further, the IPX4-rated earbuds sport 10mm dynamic drivers. They not only support ENC (Electronic Noise Cancellation) for calls but also 88ms low latency gaming mode.

The earphones connect via Bluetooth 5.0 and are compatible with the realme link app. Like any other wireless earbuds in the market, they also have support for touch gesture controls.

As far as endurance is concerned, the company claims 16-hour battery life with the USB Type-C equipped charging case (380mAh). The buds (43mAh each) themselves are rated to last for 4 and a half hours on a full charge.

Last but not least, the new DIZO TWS earphones ship with a USB Type-C cable and three pairs of different-sized ear tips.

The DIZO Buds Z are listed as ‘launching on September 23’. Hence, we expect to learn about the product’s price and availability on that day.

realme DIZO tipped to launch 7 products in India in September

DIZO is the first and currently the only brand under realme TechLife. Since its inception in late May, the brand has already released a bunch of products. According to the latest information, the brand will be launching 7 new products in India next month.

As per a report by 91Mobiles, DIZO will be announcing seven products in India in September. It’s not surprising as the brand has been testing new launches on social media for the past few days.

The report says that the company will be launching three truly wireless earphones, two smartwatches, and two unknown products. Two TWS earbuds were already tipped a few days back. One of them is even said to have support for ANC (Active Noise Cancellation).

Further, we don’t know anything about smartwatches. However, we believe that one of the two mysterious products could be a soundbar.

Having said that, like the previous DIZO products, the upcoming devices could also be rebranded realme products. Also, we expect to learn more about them before their official announcement via teasers, certifications, and leaks.

DIZO is yet to schedule a launch event for its forthcoming 7 products for India. Since September is just a week away, the brand might soon reveal the date for its next conference.

realme is expanding its TechLife ecosystem with new partners. Yesterday, it announced that its first partner is DIZO, an Indian-based brand that will also make products for the ecosystem.

According to the official DIZO website, it will launch products under the following categories – Smart Entertainment, Smart Home, Smart Care, and Accessories. realme, on the other hand, will provide Industrial Design, Supply Chain, and AIoT Experience.

DIZO is yet to announce what its first product will be and when we should expect it. However, it has revealed that it will offer after-sales services in over 320 service centers across over 310 cities. Its after-sales service will be available in both English and Hindi languages.

realme’s TechLife Ecosystem product lineup is currently made up of smart bulbs, motion sensor lights, home security cameras, smart scale, and smart plugs. We want to believe products from its partner companies will include these and more. They will also work together, so users can control them from their phones.

DIZO is the first but we can expect to see more brands join the ecosystem in the near future.
