Realme has officially launched the Realme Buds Air8 alongside the Realme Neo8 smartphone at its launch event on January 22. The earbuds are priced at 299 yuan (~$41), with a limited-time launch price of 269 yuan. Buyers who bundle them with the Realme Neo8 can get an even lower price of 239 yuan.

Realme Buds Air8 come in three stylish colors: Black, Gold, and Purple. They feature 55dB deep-sea active noise cancellation, covering up to 5000Hz, designed to reduce low- and mid-frequency noise more effectively. Realme also includes ANC and six-mic call noise reduction for clearer voice calls.

For audio, the earbuds use an 11mm + 6mm dual-driver setup and support Hi-Res Audio Wireless with the LHDC 5.0 lossless codec, focusing on detailed and layered sound. Gamers get a 45ms ultra-low latency mode, while smart features include AI real-time translation and AI call translation.

The Buds Air8 offer up to 58 hours of total battery life with the case (ANC off) and come with IP55 dust and water resistance, making them suitable for daily use.

The Realme event today in India was for the launch of the mid-range Realme 5s and flagship Realme X2 Pro smartphones. But that isn’t all we are getting from Realme before the end of the year. The manufacturer has confirmed there are more products coming and has even released a teaser image for one.

Realme’s CEO, Madhav Sheth posted a tweet after the launch that there are a few more exciting things coming. While we have a few ideas about some of them, the accompanying image posted along with the tweet teases one product.

If you look at the backdrop for the image, you should see an outline of a pair of true wireless stereo earbuds. This will be the company’s first TWS Bluetooth headphones and we are pretty excited to see what they come up with.

The image shows us the earbuds have a similar design to Apple’s own AirPods. We can’t tell what the color is but we really hope it isn’t white. The earbuds will most likely connect via Bluetooth 5.0 and should offer multiple hours of use.

Other than the earbuds, there are reports Realme will announce its first fitness tracker to take on Xiaomi’s Mi Band. Realme has also confirmed it will announce a Snapdragon 730G version of the Realme XT for India next month. All three products should launch on the same day and mark the end of a wonderful year for the brand.
