<p>Now, according to the company, it sold more than 205,400 units of Realme U1 in its first flash sale in India, that too within just six minutes. The company also held a second flash sale the same day on Amazon India but sales figures were not revealed.</p>

<p>The Realme U1 is the company&#8217;s first selfie-centric smartphone and the world&#8217;s first devcie to be powered by MediaTek&#8217;s Helio P70 octa-core chipset. The phone, touted by the company as “India’s SelfiePro”, comes in three color options — Ambitious Black, Brave Blue, and Fiery Gold.</p>
<p>As for the pricing, the 3GB RAM model is priced at Rs. 11,999, which is roughly $170 while the 4GB RAM model costs Rs. 14,999, which approximately converts to $212. The company has scheduled the next sale for the smartphone on 12th December at 12:00 PM.</p>
<p>The Realme U1 sports a 6.3-inch Full HD+ dewdrop display with screen resolution of 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution, 90.8 percent screen-t0-body ratio and 19.5:9 aspect ratio. The screen offers 450 nits of brightness and 1500:1 contrast ratio.</p>
<p>Under the hood, the device is powered by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2018/10/24/mediatek-announces-helio-p70-brings-improvements-over-the-p60/">MediaTek’s Helio P70 chipset</a>, which is built by TSMC using their 12nm FinFET technology and features Cortex-A73 and Cortex A53 cores in the same 4+4 arrangement, coupled with ARM Mali-G72 GPU.</p>

<p>It features a dual camera setup on the back, consisting of a 13-megapixel primary sensor and a 2-megapixel secondary sensor. It comes with AI Photography and AI Beautigy+ features for enhancing the photography experience with support for Studio Portrait Lighting, Super Vivid 2.0 and AI Scene Detection as well as slow-motion video recording feature.</p>
<p>On the front side, the phone comes equipped with a 25-megapixel <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/sony/">Sony</a> IMX576 sensor with f/2.0 aperture and features like Smarter Groupfi for taking group selfies. It also supports AI Front Unlock feature that is claimed to unlock the phone in just 0.1 seconds.</p>
