Realme has announced a new smartphone in the V-series dubbed the Realme V23 5G in China. The device will stay below the recently debuted Realme V25 5G. The V23 5G brings an FHD+ display, Dimensity SoC, and a 33W fast charging support.

The Realme V23 5G is priced at CNY 1,699(~$267) for the 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant and CNY 1,899(~$298) for the 12GB RAM + 256GB storage variant. The phone comes in Glass Magic and Gravel Black color variants.

Realme V23 5G specifications

The Realme V23 5G differs a lot in design as opposed to the sibling Realme V25 5G. The smartphone has flat sides and a tear-drop notch display. It sports a 6.58-inch IPS LCD panel with a Full-HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2408 pixels. It has an aspect ratio of 20:9 and is 8.1mm in thickness. It weighs 190 grams.

It is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 810 SoC paired with 8GB/12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. The device has a dual-rear camera system at the rear with a 48MP main lens and a 2MP depth sensor. It also has two LED flash sensors beside the camera lenses.

The phone packs a 5,000mAH battery with support for a 33W fast charging system. As for connectivity, it has Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi 6, and NFC support. It has a 3.5mm headphone jack and a USB Type-C port at the bottom. The device has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner that also acts as a power button.

Several new Realme phones with model numbers RMX3372, RMX3574, RMX3571, and RMX3575/6 were certified by the TENAA certification site of China. Recent leaks have revealed the RMX3372 will debut in the Chinese market as a Realme Q5 series smartphone. Fresh information reveals that the RMX3571 will break cover as the Realme V23 5G.

A product listing of the Realme V23 5G with model number RMX3571 is now available in the database of China Telecom. The listing has revealed not only the key specifications but also the images and pricing of the device. It will replace the Realme V13 5G from last year, which came with specs like a 90Hz display, Dimensity 700, 48-megapixel triple cameras, and a 5,000mAh battery with 18W charging support.

Realme V23 specifications, price (rumored)

The Realme V23 will come with a 6.58-inch FHD+ display with a teardrop notch. It is unclear whether it will support a 90Hz or a higher refresh rate. It has an 8-megapixel front camera, and a 48-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system on the back.

The Realme V23 will be fueled by the Dimensity 810 chipset (MT6833P model number). It will come with 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB / 256 GB of storage. The device will house a 5,000mAh battery that seemingly supports fast charging.

For security, it has a side-mounted fingerprint scanner. The V23 will probably run on the Android 12 OS with Realme UI 3.0 on top. It weighs 186 grammes and has 163.8 x 75.1 x 8mm dimensions.

The Realme V23 is likely to arrive in 8GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB variants. It may carry a starting price of 1,699 Yuan (~$267). The handset may arrive in Glazed White and Gravel Black colors. The V23 is likely to debut as early as this month in China.
