<p>Realme has quietly launched two new budget smartphones in China. Both of them are 5G-enabled and are part of the same series.</p>

<p>These devices go by Realme V50 and Realme V50s. Despite bearing different names, they come with the same set of specs. The cheaper V50 is a carrier variant, while the costlier V50s is an unlocked version.</p>

<p>It is worth noting that these phones resemble the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-11x/">Realme 11x</a> but feature a different camera and charge at a slower rate. Let’s check out everything they have to offer.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme V50s" class="wp-image-589479" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-1536x864.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-2048x1152.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-1920x1080.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/Realme-V50s-Purple-Dawn-747x420.jpg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Realme V50s</figcaption></figure>

<h2><strong>Realme V50, V50s Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The Realme V50 series features a flat-frame design and a circular camera module. They measure 7.89mm in thickness and weigh 190g.</p>

<p>The handsets are built around a 6.72-inch centered punch-hole display. This LCD panel offers a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels (FHD+), 120Hz refresh rate, and 680 nits peak brightness level.</p>

<p>Further, they are powered by a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/07/11/mediatek-dimensity-6100-plus-launched/">MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus</a> chipset. On the software front, they boot <a href="https://gizmochina.com/tag/Android-13/">Android 13</a>-based Realme UI 4.0.</p>

<p>They house a dual camera setup on the back. The primary 13MP sensor is paired with an unspecified secondary sensor, which is most likely a depth sensor. Whereas, on the front, there’s an 8MP snapper for selfies and video calls.</p>

<p>The devices arrive with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a MicroSD card slot, and a 5,000mAh battery. Their charging speed is not mentioned. Hence, they likely support standard 10W or 18W charging.</p>

<p>As mentioned in the beginning, the Realme V50 and Realme V50s are almost the same as Realme 11x, which comes with a 64MP main camera and 33W charging support.</p>

<h2><strong>Realme V50, V50s Price</strong></h2>

<p>The Realme V50 series carries the following price tags in China.</p>

<h5><strong>Realme V50</strong></h5>

<ul><li>6GB + 128GB &#8211; ¥1,199 (~$165)</li><li>8GB + 256GB &#8211; ¥1,399 (~$195)</li></ul>

<p>By the end of this month, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">Realme</a> will unveil the Realme GT 5 Pro flagship phone featuring the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip in China. In December, the brand will announce the Realme V50 series of entry-level 5G smartphones in the country. The China Telecom listings of the unannounced Realme V50 and Realme V50s that are now available reveal that both phones will go on sale by Dec. 10. Ahead of the expected release date, the China Telecom listings have revealed the specifications and prices of both smartphones.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="846" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Realme-V50-and-Realme-V50s.png?x44794" alt="Realme V50 and Realme V50s" class="wp-image-584552" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Realme-V50-and-Realme-V50s.png 846w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Realme-V50-and-Realme-V50s-300x177.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Realme-V50-and-Realme-V50s-768x454.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Realme-V50-and-Realme-V50s-696x411.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/Realme-V50-and-Realme-V50s-711x420.png 711w" sizes="(max-width: 846px) 100vw, 846px" /><figcaption>Realme V50 (left) and Realme V50s (right)</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Back in August, Realme phones with model numbers <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/23/realme-rmx3781-rmx3783-tenn/">RMX3783 and RMX3781</a> were spotted in the database of China’s TENAA certification platform. The China Telecom listings confirm that these devices will be called the Realme V50 and Realme V50s, respectively, when they arrive on the market. The Realme V50 series packs the same specs and design as the Realme 11x 5G available in India. However, the Indian mainly differs in the camera department, wherein it offers a 64-megapixel primary camera.</p>

<h3><strong>Realme V50, Realme V50s specifications (rumored)</strong></h3>

<p>As per the China Telecom listing, the Realme V50 has a 13-megapixel primary camera and a 2-megapixel auxiliary camera. It has an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. The device is equipped with a 6.72-inch LCD panel that offers an FHD+ resolution and supposedly a 120Hz refresh rate.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/dimensity-6100-plus">Dimensity 6100 Plus</a> chipset-<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/09/11/realme-v50-launch-china-soon/">powered device</a> will arrive with up to 8 GB of RAM, up to 256 GB of storage, and a 5,000mAh battery that seemingly supports 18W charging. It will come with other features, such as a side-facing fingerprint scanner and Android 13 with a layer of Realme UI on top.</p>

<p>The Realme V50 will arrive in Midnight Black and Dawn Purple shades. It will arrive in various configurations, such as 4 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 1,199 Yuan, 6 GB RAM + 128 GB storage for 1,399 Yuan, and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage for 1,799 Yuan.</p>

<p>Regarding the Realme V50s, it shares identical specifications, variants, and pricing with the V50. How Realme plans to distinguish between the two smartphones is yet to be revealed.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme </a>is gearing up for the launch of a new smartphone in China soon. The new model is apparently the Realme V50, which was recently spotted on a major certification platform in the country. So here&#8217;s everything you need to know about this upcoming device.</p>

<h2>Realme V50 Specs</h2>

<p>The Chinese smartphone maker was spotted on the TENAA authority in China, carrying the model numbers RMX3781 and RMX3783. These new smartphones might be a part of the brand&#8217;s Realme V50 lineup. Looking at the image of the RMX3783 spotted on TENNA, the device appears similar to the Realme V50, which was recently spotted on the IMEI database. Based on the TENAA certification, the device features a thin 7.89mm design and weighs 190 grams.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme V50" class="wp-image-565645" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Realme-V50-Featured.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The front sports a tall 6.72-inch IPS LTPS LCD panel that offers a Full HD+ resolution and a 90Hz refresh rate. This device runs on Android 13 OS based Realme UI 4.0 custom skin. Under the hood, the smartphone is equipped with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ SoC that is paired with 4GB, 6GB, 8GB, and 12GB of RAM and 54GB, 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB of internal storage. </p>

<p>The Realme V50 will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that will likely support fast charging. On the rear, the handset features a 13-megapixel + 2-megapixel configuration, while the front houses an 8-megapixel selfie shooter. After the Realme V50 sighting on TENAA, the device is expected to debut in China later this month.</p>
