Realme has introduced two new budget-friendly smartphones in China — the Realme V70 and Realme V70s. Both models focus on durability, performance, and daily practicality, wrapped in a slim and stylish design. These devices are now listed on the company’s official website (full specs sheet not live yet), targeting users who seek reliable 5G connectivity, long battery life, and solid build quality without breaking the bank.

Realme V70 and V70s Specifications

The Realme V70 and V70s feature large 6.72-inch displays with a 120Hz high refresh rate for smooth scrolling and better responsiveness. Both phones also offer full DC dimming to reduce flicker and protect the eyes during prolonged use. The displays come with adaptive color temperature controls and multiple eye-care modes, making them comfortable for gaming, reading, or video streaming.

Under the hood, the Realme V70 is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G processor built on a 6nm process. This chipset ensures smooth multitasking with low power consumption. The Realme V70s, on the other hand, comes with the MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ 5G processor, also built on the 6nm process. Both phones support dynamic RAM expansion, offering up to 16GB RAM (8GB physical + 8GB virtual), along with 256GB of internal storage. They run on Realme UI 6.0 based on Android, offering a redesigned interface and updated notification management.

Both the Realme V70 and V70s feature a primary 50MP AI camera, with other details yet to be revealed. They also include Magic Depth AI for more natural portraits and enhanced layered shots.

Both these phones are equipped with a large 5000mAh battery. The company claims up to 10 hours of continuous video playback, 38 hours of talk time, and around 80 hours of music playback.

Both the Realme V70 and V70s feature 300% ultra-loud speakers for clear sound in noisy environments. They are built for durability with military-grade drop resistance, reinforced corners, and a pressure-cast aluminum frame, surviving drops from up to 2 meters. IP64 certification adds dust and water resistance, and both support touch controls with wet or oily hands. The phones are slim at 7.94mm, weigh around 190 grams, and come in Xuanwu Black and Cangshan Green colors.

Pricing & Availability

The Realme V70 starts at 1,199 yuan (around $166) for the 6GB+128GB variant and 1,499 yuan (around $208) for the 8GB+256GB variant. The Realme V70s is priced at 1,499 yuan (around $208) for the 6GB+128GB version and 1,899 yuan (around $263) for the 8GB+256GB variant.

Both smartphones are now listed on the official Realme website in China, though details regarding the sale and availability have not yet been announced.

Recently, the Realme RMX3946 and RMX3948 were approved by China’s 3C and MIIT certification platforms. Now, both devices have surfaced in China Telecom’s product library under their final marketing names—Realme V70 and Realme V70s. These smartphones will succeed the Realme V60 and V60s. Just like their predecessors, the V70 and V70s have been found with nearly identical specifications. Here’s a closer look at their details as revealed through the China Telecom listing.

Realme V70, Realme V70s  pricing, color variants, and availability

The Realme V70 and V70s are listed with two storage variants each. The V70’s 8GB + 256GB model is priced at 1,499 Yuan (~$210), while the 6GB + 128GB variant is listed at 1,199 Yuan (~$165).

On the other hand, the Realme V70s’ 8GB + 256GB variant is priced at 1,899 Yuan (~$260) and the 6GB + 128GB model is listed at 1,499 Yuan (~$208). However, these prices may not be final, as Realme has not officially announced the devices yet.

Both smartphones will be available in two color options—Black Basalt and Green Basalt. As per the listing, the devices are expected to launch in China on March 20 (today), but Realme is yet to confirm an official release date.

Realme V70, Realme V70s specifications (rumoured)

In terms of design, the Realme V70 and V70s measure 165.7 x 76.22 x 8.16 mm and weigh 193 grams. Both phones are equipped with a 6.67-inch IPS LCD screen with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels. The smartphones sport an 8-megapixel front-facing camera, while the rear camera setup includes a 13-megapixel primary sensor.

Under the hood, the devices are powered by the MediaTek MT6835V chipset, which appears to be the Dimensity 6100 Plus. However, the previous generation was equipped with the Dimensity 6300 SoC. The V70 and V70s will come in 6GB+128GB and 8GB+256GB storage configurations. A 5,000mAh battery fuels both smartphones and according to the 3C certification, they may support 15W charging.

On the software front, the devices are expected to run on Realme Ui 6-based Android 15. Additional features include a microSD card slot, a side-mounted fingerprint sensor, a USB-C port, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

As mentioned above, the Realme V70 and V70s are packed with identical specs. Probably, they are meant for offlne and online markets.
