In December 2020, Realme announced the Realme Watch S and Watch S Pro smartphones in India. Both models were made available in a single color of Black. Today, the company introduced that it would begin the sales of the all-new silver variant of the Realme Watch S from June 7 in India.

Realme Watch S now comes in Silver color

Like the Black model, the new offering of the Realme Watch S features a silver-colored chassis and strap and it will be priced at Rs 4,999. It will be available for purchase through Flipkart and Realme India’s online store starting at 12 PM (local time) on June 7. For Realme Watch S buyers, the company is also offering orange, blue, and green colored straps worth Rs 499 each.

Realme Watch S specifications and features

The Realme Watch S has a round-shaped 1.3-inch LCD touch panel that delivers 360 x 360 pixels resolution. It is equipped with an aluminum body and a removable strap. It is backed by a 390mAh battery that promises up to 20 days of battery life. It lacks support for GPS connectivity.

The Watch S comes with Bluetooth 5.0 support and is compatible with Android and iOS devices. It supports numerous sports modes, downloadable watch faces, call/message notifications, fine phone, remote camera, music control, and more. Apart from heart rate sensor and blood oxygen saturation level monitor, it also features a 3-axis accelerometer and rotor vibration motor.

Last month, Realme had launched the Watch S smartwatch in the European market and today, the company has launched two new wearable devices in India — Realme Watch S and Realme Watch S Pro.

Realme Watch S Pro

The Realme Watch S Pro features a 1.39-inch AMOLED screen with 454 x 454 pixels screen resolution, Always-on display support, and offers 450 nits brightness. It also supports Auto-Brightness features that can adjust the device to five brightness levels.

It offers over 100 watch faces and comes with Blood Oxygen (SpO2 sensor) and a heart-rate monitor (PPG). For fitness and workout tracking, the device comes with 15 different sports modes, including Swimming, Cricket, Yoga, Outdoor Run & Walk, outdoor cycling, Hiking, Workout, and more.

Under the hood, it is powered by a dual-core ARM Cortex-M4 processor. The smartwatch is rated 5ATM, offering 50 meters of water resistance, and features high-precision Dual-Satellite GPS (GNSS) functionality. It packs a 420mAh battery that is promised to offer 14 days of usage on a single charge.

The Realme Watch S Pro is priced at ₹9,999 (~$135) in India and will be available for purchase from 29th December. The company has also launched Silicon and Leather straps, starting at ₹599, which will go on sale in January.

Realme Watch S

On the other hand, the Realme Watch S features a 1.3-inch LCD circular touchscreen display that offers 360 x 360 pixels screen resolution and is protected by a layer of Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The company is offering 12 watch faces onboard and has said that over 100 watch faces will be available in the near future.

It comes with all the command smartwatch features such as Sleep Monitoring, Call Rejection, Smart Notifications, and Music and Camera Control. There’s also an optical heart rate sensor as well as a blood oxygen level monitoring sensor (SpO2).

The company is offering 16 sports modes, which include the likes of Walk, Indoor Run, Outdoor Run, among others. In the software department, it runs a proprietary operating system, which is a forked version of the FreeRT OS.

It has an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance and comes powered by a 390mAh battery that the company says can last up to 15 days on a single charge.

The Realme Watch S is priced at ₹4,999 (~$68) and will go on sale from 28th December. There’s also a Master Edition which is designed by Grafflex and is priced at ₹5,999 (~$81).

We are inching towards the realme’s December 23 launch event where the company will announce the new wearable products. It will unveil the Watch S, Watch S Pro, and as per the latest hints, a Watch S Master Edition as well. Ahead of this, tipster Mukul Sharma has revealed the entire specifications and features of the Pro version.

Earlier, an FCC listing of the Watch S Pro revealed few details of the display, battery, SpO2 sensors. However, the realme event page(via Mukul Sharma) reveals the entire features that are coming with the smartwatch. The Watch S Pro is the first ‘Pro’ premium wearable from realme and it looks like the company is leaving no stones unturned.

Accordingly, the realme Watch S Pro will have a 1.39-inch AMOLED touchscreen with a 454×454 resolution. It will have a peak brightness of 450 nits and a contrast ratio of 100,000:1. That said the presence of AMOLED means you get perks like Always-on Display, vibrant colors, and deeper blacks.

As revealed earlier, the Watch S Pro will have stainless steel over the Aluminum case on the Watch S. The event page also reveals that the watch will come with additional leather straps. Moving on, Mukul Sharma’s leak says that the watch will weigh 63.5g with the strap which will be removable.

Watch S Pro Features

The realme Watch S Pro is confirmed to have high-precision Dual-Satellite GPS(GNSS) functionality. It basically means that the receiver end will track more than one radio signal at a time from satellites for accurate, and real-time data. Further, the Watch S Pro will also have other features like 100+ Watch faces, Blood Oxygen(SpO2 sensor) and heart-rate monitor(PPG), 5ATM water resistance(up to 50m), 15 Sport modes.

Some of the modes include Swimming, Cricket, Yoga, Outdoor run and walk, outdoor cycling, Hiking, free workout, and more. Powered by a Dual-Core processor, the Watch will have a 420mAh battery and charge via a Magnetic Charging case. This is higher compared to 390mAh on the non-Pro variant.

Accordingly, realme promises a 14-day battery life in a single charge that should take about 2Hr. Besides, in addition to the Smart Control, Date Display, custom dial features, the Watch S Pro will also have other control modes and features as below:

A couple of days back, realme unveiled its official mascot, REALMEOW. The brand said that it is a reflection of the company’s vision. Further, it will be a part of realme’s marketing campaign going forward. Also, the character is the brand’s official Chief Trend Officer as per the company. Now, REALMEOW teases the box packaging of the upcoming realme Watch S and realme X7.

As you can see below, REALMEOW has posted the image on the realme India community page. The snap reveals what could be the Indian retail boxes for the upcoming products. Among the lot, visible ones are realme Smart Bottle, realme Watch S, realme X7. We already know that the company is bringing the realme Watch S, S Pro to India on December 23.

However, the realme X7 series, despite getting confirmed for 2021, hasn’t got an official launch date yet. Anyway, the yellow-colored box shows the first look of the realme Watch S Indian variant. It has a circular base, two crowns on the right side just like the one launched in Pakistan back in November.

Moving to the realme X7, there are two boxes- One is a white box with a big ‘X7’ labeled in Silver accent. This suggests that the realme X7 could have a “Fantasy White, C color Gradient” like the Chinese variant. The other one has the company’s usual yellow stripes in a white box with an ‘X’ label and realme X7 moniker.

Although the ‘Pro’ variant is missing in the images, the company has already confirmed that it is bringing a Watch S Pro and realme X7 Pro to India. Among these, the Watch S Pro is launching here first despite getting teased at IFA 2020 trade show in Europe. It will have improvements over the Watch S like a bigger 1.39-inch AMOLED display, stainless steel casing, GPS, and more.

The X7 Pro, on the other hand, has already got the country’s BIS certification alongside the X7 a few weeks back. Anyway, both the specs of Watch S and X7 are already known, and hence, let’s wait for the official pricing.

realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition

realme has a trend of releasing a Master Edition of its products. While it has been limited to phones such as the realme X Master Edition, realme X2 Pro Master Edition, and realme X50 5G Master Edition, the realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition is the first non-phone product to get the treatment.

The main difference between this and the standard version is the color. As seen in the image above, the realme Buds Air Pro Master Edition will come in silver with a glossy finish. The standard models come in Rock Black and Soul White.

realme Watch S Pro

The realme Watch S was announced last month in Pakistan and Europe and now, it is set to get a pro model. The realme Watch S Pro packs a bigger display at 1.39-inches and swaps the LCD panel of the standard model for an AMOLED one with a higher 454 x 454 resolution.

The display is housed in a stainless steel case, unlike the realme Watch S that has an aluminum case. You also get two buttons on the right side. Surprisingly, the pro model supports 15 sports modes, 1 less than that of the standard version. However, it has GPS, a feature not available on the realme Watch S.

Other features of the watch are blood oxygen and heart rate monitoring and 14-day battery life. The promotional images show that the realme Watch S Pro will be available with a brown leather strap. The video above also shows the watch with black, orange, and blue silicone straps.

realme will also announce the standard realme Watch S, which is yet to launch in India, on December 23.

Chinese company realme currently holds the title of the world’s fastest-growing smartphone brand. Apart from handsets, the firm has been also pushing connected devices for a while now. Earlier this year, the company launched its first smartwatch, dubbed as realme Watch. Last month, the brand debuted the second model called realme Watch S. Now, the company teases to launch the realme Watch S Pro alongside the standard variant in India.

According to IDC, realme was India’s largest smartwatch brand in September with a 22.1% market share. The company achieved this with a single product  – realme Watch. 

In the same month, the existence of realme Watch S and realme Watch S Pro was confirmed by the firm itself at the IFA 2020 trade show. A few days later, both of them received multiple certifications. And finally, the regular model made its global debut in Pakistan in November

This wearable later made its way to Europe in the same month. Now. it is all set to launch in India alongside the realme Watch S Pro. Since the standard model is official, we know everything about it. But the same cannot be said for the ‘Pro’ variant, which will be releasing first in India.

Anyway, as per FCC, the only major difference between the two is the presence of an OLED display on the Pro model. That said, realme India is yet to reveal the launch date.

Realme took the tech industry by storm back in May when it announced its first smartwatch dubbed Realme Watch. The tech giant has now taken things further with the unveiling of the Realme Watch S. The Watch S is a trimmed down version of the Realme Watch.

As far as the specs go, the Realme Watch S features a 1.3-inch circular touchscreen display with a resolution of 360×360-pixel. The display screen gets an extra layer of protection from a Corning Gorilla Glass which could be the same Gorilla Glass 3 utilised on the first Realme Watch. The watch equally features a photosensitive sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness depending on the lighting conditions.

Still taking of the build, the Watch S circular frame is made from aluminium alloy and there are two buttons on the right side. The watch also features Liquid Silicone straps which are available in four colours namely; Blue, Orange, Green, and Black.

Realme didn’t indicate the number of watch faces that are available on the Watch S but the Realme watch has 12 watch faces onboard. The company only stated that over 100 watch faces will be pushed to the Watch S in the coming months.

Further, the Realme Watch S features a PPG heart rate sensor as well as a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen level monitoring. The smartwatch features 16 Sports Modes including new ones such as Stationary Bike and Rowing Machine mode. Other key features include Sleep Monitoring, Call Rejection, Smart Notifications, and Music and Camera Control.

The watch comes with an IP68 waterproof rating meaning it can withstand staying inside water having a depth of up to 1.5m. However, Realme says it can’t be taken into the shower or when going for a swim. You get a 390mAh battery onboard which is touted to last for up to 15 days.

As for the price, the Realme Watch S will be sold for PKR14,999 ($95) in Pakistan. It will go on sale from November 14 via offline retail stores. There is no indication when the smartwatch will be available in other markets.

Chinese smartphone brand realme forayed into the connected devices category last year to build an ecosystem of its own. So far, the company has launched a plethora of devices. However, it only offers a single smartwatch as of now though the brand teased more at IFA 2020 in September. Those two wearables were revealed to launch in Q4. Now, as promised realme has confirmed to debut one of them, realme Watch S on November 2 in Pakistan.

The upcoming realme Watch S was spotted on the websites of multiple certification bureaus exposing some of its specs after it was teased by the brand. Even the launch announcement teaser poster for Pakistan reveals certain features as well as design.

According to both certifications and teasers, the realme Watch S will come equipped with a 1.3-inch circular display and a brightness sensor. For those unaware, the original realme Watch features a squircle screen and lacks a brightness sensor. 

That said, the type of the panel in the newer model is a mystery at the moment. The older version comes with an LCD screen but since the realme Watch S screams premium (as per its design), it may sport an OLED panel.

The tweet by realme Pakistan says the new smartwatch will support 16 sports modes and feature multiple health monitors. The brand also confirms it to come with a heart-rate and a SpO2 sensor for blood oxygen monitoring. 

The latter is missing on the recently launched Mi Watch Revolve / Mi Watch aka Mi Watch Color. Therefore, Xiaomi launched a new edition of this smartwatch called Mi Watch Color Sports Edition in China with a SpO2 sensor.

Having said that, realme claims a maximum of 15-battery life for realme Watch S. Last but not least, it will bear the model number RMA207 and its straps will be available in black, orange, blue, and green color options.

Smartphone makers are lately keen on building an ecosystem of their own. Chinese brand realme, albeit new, have launched a wide variety of products in the past few months, in addition to smartphones. Now, according to a new leak from two different sources, the company will be launching a total of 9 products in October.

The information about realme ecosystem products was shared by both Abhishek Yadav and Mukul Sharma on Twitter. However, the former was the first to break their launch dates.

That said, according to them, the brand will unveil the following products in the second week of October, specifically 7th and 9th.

Chinese smartphone maker realme launched its first-ever smartwatch called realme Watch in the month of May in India. Though the brand calls it a smartwatch, it is merely a fitness tracker disguised as a watch. Earlier this month at IFA 2020, the company teased two new smartwatches – realme Watch S & realme Watch S Pro, both of which received certain certifications a few days back. Now, the regular version also passes through FCC and EEC.

The realme Watch S Pro was certified by FCC last week (September 8). The images of the product meant for FCC certification leaked anyway though there is a confidentiality letter requesting the wearable to be kept in secrecy for 45 days. We are not sure where those images came from but it is not in the database.

Similarly, the FCC certification for realme Watch S certified on September 18 (via @yabhishekhd on Twitter) also has the same confidentiality letter. Hence, its images are too not available for the public officially. Also, they did not leak. But we assume it to feature a similar design as the Pro model.

Further, this wearable also gets certified by Russia’s EEC, other than Malaysia’s SIRIM earlier this week. All the certifications of realme Watch S do not reveal any of its specifications except for its model number – RMA207.

That said, the company is yet to announce the exact launch date for its upcoming smartwatches. They may debut alongside realme Buds Air Pro whose design patent was recently approved by CNIPA.

Leakster @Stufflistings reveals that both the devices have been certified by NEMKO while the standard Watch S has also been certified by SIRIM. The certification process also revealed that the Pro variant will come powered by a 390mAh battery.

Given that they are getting certified, the launch event shouldn’t be far away. Also, we expect more details regarding the wearable devices to soon surface online.

Recently, the Realme Watch S Pro with model number RMA186 was spotted on FCC, revealing more details. It revealed that the device will come with a round dial that measures 1.39-inches.
