One of the last is the amazing <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/realme-narzo-30-pro-5g">Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G</a>, but there are also several important phones released last year with amazing specifications. Smartphone prices increased in 2021 and often you can find better phones if you look at the ones released a year ago. Among these, there are <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/motorola-moto-g-5g">Motorola Moto G 5G</a> and <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7">Realme X7 5G,</a> still sold in the Indian market at great street prices. Here is a comparison between the specifications of Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G, Motorola Moto G 5G, and Realme X7 5G.</p>

<h3>Design</h3>
<p>My favorite design and the most attractive one is the Realme X7. Despite it is not built with premium materials, it almost looks like so. It is way thinner than its two rivals with a thickness of just 8.1 mm and it is even lightweight as it weighs just 175 grams. The Motorola Moto G 5G is very thick and heavy compared to other phones, so it is a less comfortable option when it comes to one-handed use and so. Realme Narzo 30 Pro sits in the middle: it is still pretty thick and heavy since it houses a big battery, but not excessively.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>Do you need a superior display? Choose the Realme X7 5G and you won&#8217;t regret it. The Realme X7 5G is the only one to come with an AMOLED display, so it is able to show brighter colors and deeper blacks. Further, it has an in-display fingerprint reader. The Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G has an IPS panel but it is still very interesting, especially for gamers, because it has a 120 Hz refresh rate. Unfortunately, Motorola Moto G 5G lacks both a high refresh rate and an AMOLED panel, but it has HDR10 technology improving the image quality. However, it can not compete with the Realme X7 5G.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Specs &amp; Software</h3>
<p>The best devices in terms of hardware are Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G and Realme X7 5G which pack a Dimensity 800U chipset, up to 8 GB of RAM, and up to 128 GB of UFS 2.1 native storage. The Snapdragon 750G found on the Motorola Moto G 5G is at the same level as the Dimensity 800U (even slightly better, in my opinion), but the phone offers up to 6 GB of RAM, and having 2 gigs more is definitely better. Unfortunately, all of these phones ship with Android 10 out of the box, but they will be updated to Android 11.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Camera</h3>
<p>The most advanced cameras belong to the Realme X7 5G. It has a superior 64 MP main camera paired with an 8 MP ultrawide sensor, a 2 MP camera for macros, and a 2 MP dedicated depth sensor. Besides a better main camera, the Realme X7 5G also packs a better front camera with a 32 MP resolution.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>Realme X7 5G wins everywhere except when it comes to the battery life: Motorola Moto G 5G and Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G have bigger 5000 mAh batteries and they beat their higher-end rival. On the other hand, Realme X7 5G supports faster charging with a power of 65W.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Price</h3>
<p>You can actually find Realme Narzo 30 Pro with an Rs. 15,999 / $215 starting price, Moto G 5G retails for Rs. 20,999 / $283, and Realme X7 5G costs Rs. 19,999 / $270. If we exclude the battery, Realme X7 5G is the best phone, while the Realme Narzo 30 Pro 5G has the highest value for money.</p>

<h3><strong>Realme X7 5G could be rebadged Realme V15 5G</strong></h3>
<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-pro-5g">Realme X7 Pro 5G</a> for India could be the same device that went official in China in September. However, it may not be the case with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-5g">Realme X7 5G</a>. It is likely that Realme V15 5G which <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/07/realme-v15-china-launch-specs-price-features/">debuted earlier this month</a> in China could be rebadged as the Realme X7 5G for India.</p>

<p>The promo page of the Realme X7 5G on Flipkart states that it weighs 176 grams, and it is packed with specs like an S-AMOLED panel, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-800u">Dimensity 800U</a> chipset, a 4,300mAh battery with 50W SuperDart Charge technology, and a 64-megapixel (main) + 8-megapixel (ultrawide) + 2-megapixel (macro) triple camera system. These specifications can be found on the Realme V15 5G.</p>
<p>China’s Realme X7 5G and V15 5G phones have almost identical specs. However, the major difference between the two phones is that the former has a 64-megapixel quad-camera system. Since the phone heading to India has a 64-megapixel triple camera system, it is likely that the Realme V15 5G will be sold as Realme X7 5G in India.</p>

And now, the realme X7 non-Pro variant has been spotted on India&#8217;s BIS website.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-338489" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme X7 official renders 5" width="1620" height="1080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5.jpg 1620w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/Realme-X7-official-renders-5-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1620px) 100vw, 1620px" /></p>
<p>A <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">realme</a> smartphone, as reported by <a href="https://rootmygalaxy.net/realme-x7-india-launch-seems-imminent-as-it-bags-bis-certification/">Root MyGalaxy</a>(via <a href="https://www.gsmarena.com/realme_x7_bags_bis_certification_before_imminent_india_launch-news-46388.php">GSMArena</a>) appears on India&#8217;s BIS certification website. It has a model number RMX2176 under &#8216;REALME&#8217;. Now, if we recall, a device with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/12/realme-rmx2176-images-and-full-specifications-surface-at-tenaa/">same model number visited TENAA</a> back in August before the realme X7 series launch in China. The device later turned out to be the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme-x7-5g">realme X7 5G</a>.</p>
<p>That said, although Madhav mentioned a 2021 launch, he didn&#8217;t exactly give us a time frame. But, the latest listing suggests that the device might break cover very soon in India maybe in January. Besides, after looking at the BIS listing, one would expect that the device is indeed the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-5g">realme X7 5G</a> for India. But there is a possibility that realme might tweak it a bit.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-355488" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/realme-x7-bis-1.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="1000" height="600" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/realme-x7-bis-1.jpg 1000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/realme-x7-bis-1-300x180.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/realme-x7-bis-1-768x461.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/realme-x7-bis-1-696x418.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/realme-x7-bis-1-700x420.jpg 700w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></p>
<p>This is because, if you take the realme 7 5G that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/19/realme-7-5g-launches-in-europe-with-dimensity-800u-48mp-camera-more/">recently launched</a> in Europe, it is a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/03/realme-v5-with-90hz-display-dimensity-720-48mp-quad-cameras-and-5000mah-battery-debuts-for-1399-yuan-200/">realme V5 5G from China</a> but with realme X7&#8217;s SoC and different display refresh rate(90Hz vs 120Hz). Hence, it is possible that realme might change something on the Indian variant too to differentiate it more from the &#8216;Pro&#8217; variant. Anyway, since it&#8217;s too early to speculate anything, let&#8217;s brush up on the specs of realme X7 5G.</p>
<h4><strong>realme X7 5G Specifications</strong></h4>
<p>The realme X7 5G that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/01/realme-x7-x7-pro-with-120hz-display-dimensity-1000-64mp-quad-cameras-65w-fast-charging-launched-in-china/">launched in China</a> back in September, features a 6.4-inch FHD+ AMOLED 120Hz punch-hole display, MediaTek <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-800u">Dimensity 800U</a> SoC, 64MP sensor equipped quad-camera, 32MP selfie shooter, 4,300mAh battery with 65W SuperDart Charging.</p>

<p>Anku Jain has given an exclusive interview to TechRadar. In that, he has brushed upon topics like MediaTek&#8217;s evolution, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/mediatek-dimensity-soc">Dimensity SoCs</a>, the future of 5G in India, and more. Regarding Dimensity SoCs, he says that the company is getting very good traction in China. This is evident with its staggering <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/12/mediateks-monthly-sales-report-shows-a-staggering-61-2-yoy-surge-in-september-revenue/">61.2% YoY surge</a> in September revenue report.</p>
<p>However, the Dimensity SoCs haven&#8217;t managed to break the barriers elsewhere. The company only recently announced the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/04/mediatek-dimensity-1000c-announced/">MediaTek Dimensity 1000C 5G SoC</a> in the United States. Besides, Anku Jain notes that the company requires OEM partners&#8217; support for Dimensity SoCs to flourish in countries like India. The reason for the delay of Dimensity SoCs is reportedly due to the delay in <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/5G">5G</a> rollout, perception of the companies, and their outlook on the market.</p>
<p><iframe loading="lazy" title="Dimensity chipsets will be the game changer : Anku Jain, MD MediaTek India" width="696" height="392" src="https://www.youtube.com/embed/EIF9wPvO_zc?feature=oembed" frameborder="0" allow="accelerometer; autoplay; clipboard-write; encrypted-media; gyroscope; picture-in-picture" allowfullscreen></iframe></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>That said, regarding the Dimensity partnerships, he says the company is working with a lot of partners. And expects to see few phones before 2020 ends. In fact, when asked about the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-pro/">realme X7 Pro</a> topic, he has hinted at a few things here. He expects the company&#8217;s existing 4G partners like <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/xiaomi">Xiaomi</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo">Vivo</a>, <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo">Oppo</a>. And <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme">realme</a> to launch the devices soon.</p>
<p>However, when asked if we would see other brands bring <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity">Dimensity SoCs</a> this year, he hints that it might happen only in 2021. This suggests that the realme X7 series, if they launch as <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/02/realme-x7-pro-india-launch-in-december/">expected in December</a>, will be the only smartphones in India with Dimensity SoC this year. Accordingly, realme X7 5G features <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-800u">Dimensity 800U</a> SoC while the X7 Pro 5G has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-1000-plus">Dimensity 1000+</a>. Anyway, it looks like realme is going to pull the trigger for the wave of Dimensity-powered devices in India.</p>

<p>Tipster Sudhanshu on Twitter has <a href="https://twitter.com/Sudhanshu1414/status/1322828520091889664">shared</a> the BIS listing of the upcoming Realme smartphone. It shows the model number RMX2121 and it seems to be granted on October 22. However, on digging through the BIS database, we couldn&#8217;t independently verify it. That said, the model number resonates with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-x7-pro-5g">realme X7 Pro 5G</a> from the earlier NBTC certification and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/01/realme-x7-x7-pro-with-120hz-display-dimensity-1000-64mp-quad-cameras-65w-fast-charging-launched-in-china/">China launch</a>. This BIS listing, along with Madhav&#8217;s recent <a href="https://twitter.com/MadhavSheth1/status/1316642530390282241">tweet</a> suggests that the device might not be far away from an imminent launch.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-351401" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/x7-pro-bis.png?x44794" alt="" width="1166" height="198" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/x7-pro-bis.png 1166w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/x7-pro-bis-300x51.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/x7-pro-bis-768x130.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/x7-pro-bis-1024x174.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/x7-pro-bis-696x118.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/x7-pro-bis-1068x181.png 1068w" sizes="(max-width: 1166px) 100vw, 1166px" /></p>
<p>Besides, India is not the only country where the device is heading. Countries like Thailand, Taiwan, and the majority of Europe are likely to get the series soon. Recently, the device received <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/02/realme-x7-pro-certified-in-thailand-global-release-drawing-near/">Thailand&#8217;s NBTC</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/10/02/realme-x7-pro-certified-in-thailand-global-release-drawing-near/">Taiwan&#8217;s NCC</a> certifications. NBTC was a mere model number listing whereas NCC certification had shown the images(front, rear), batteries(2250mAhx2), and charger(65W). And it mostly looks similar to the Chinese model but we will have to wait and see if it gets any new color or storage variant.</p>
<h4><strong>Realme X7 Pro 5G Specifications</strong></h4>

It features a 6.55-inch sAMOLED 120Hz display, MediaTek&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-1000-plus">Dimensity 1000+</a> SoC paired with up to 8 GB of LPDDR4x RAM, and 256 GB of UFS 2.1 storage.
