Apple has scheduled WWDC 2022 to take place from 6th June to 10th June and if the company makes hardware announcements, then the MacBook Air will be a part of it. If that doesn’t happen, then he belives it could be because of the supply chain issues.

Recently, analyst Ming-Chi Kuo had said that the 2022 MacBook Air will have a new form factor design and more color options. He also said that it will not feature a tapered design but it could get shipped it with a more MacBook Pro-like design.

The laptop is also expected to be thinner and lighter, and may even launch in color options similar to the 24 inch iMac, which is available in blue, green, pink, silver, yellow, orange, and purple color options. It is even rumored to offer an off white bezel and a matching off white keyboard, which is a major shift away from its typical black keyboards.

There are conflicting reports about the processor that will power the upcoming MacBook Air laptop. While it should be the M2 processor, as some reports have claimed is the case, there are a few reports that indicate Apple opting to use the old M1 chip for the new MacBook Air because of the supply chain issues.

Now, a new report from Android Police reveals that the Android 13 will come with some UI changes apart from the addition of new features. Google could be giving a new look to the output picket menu in the upcoming Android 13.

For those who are unaware, the output picker is a part of the media controls, showing a button at the top-right with information about which device is playing the media such as cast devices, Bluetooth buds, and speakers.

The report further indicates that the functionality of the feature remains the same and while the images don’t show the button, it can be accessed from Settings. The volume sliders have also been replaced by newer thicker ones.

The disconnected devices are now grayed out and are no longer marked as “disconnected.” Round icons have also gone missing and the selected output device now has a checkmark to make it clear which device is active.

The updated design aims to make it cleaner and clearer for improving the user experience keep the design consistent with other elements in the Android operating system. But do note that this is still very early and it could get changed by the time Android 13 launches.

The American tech giant has quietly shared (Via WindowsLatest) the first glimpse of the new visual overhaul for the Paint and Photos app. Apparently, the company is working on a new design for nearly all stock apps for the Windows 11. In other words, other basic pre installed applications like the Clock, Voice Recorder, Calculator, Office, Notepad, and others will also be receiving the visual upgrade to match the look of the latest version of the popular operating system.

With the new Windows version, the MS Paint and Photos app will be ditching its traditional ribbon menu for a Fluent header that is similar to the new File Explorer and also matches with the rest of the operating system’s visuals. Looking at the images shared by Microsoft, the new Paint app will also feature a simplified toolbar. Furthermore, its Fluent header will also house certain important functions like “File,” “Edit” brushes, among other features.

The new overhaul will also add simple icons to perform basic tasks. The company will begin to roll out the updated stock apps for Windows 11 during the course of the next several weeks for feedback from consumers.
