The Nubia Red Magic 3 was the brand’s flagship gaming smartphone for the first half of 2019. It launched with Redmagic 2.0 based on Android Pie. Now, after a year from its release, the handset is finally receiving Redmagic 3.0 Android 10 update in China.

The new software update for Nubia Red Magic 3 brings all the bells and whistles of Android 10 along with some additional features to further enhance the gaming experience.

Here’s the official changelog for Redmagic 3.0 Android 10 update, which is being seeded to Nubia Red Magic 3 units in China (translated).

• Game space: New UI design, add one-click combo, front sight assist and more gameplay.
• Wireless projection screen: a new projection screen experience, supporting functions such as computer and TV.
• Neo Al smart system: add smart sidebar, smart screen and more functions.
• Basic function upgrade: Picture-in-picture experience optimization, new functions such as split screen, split screen, three-finger screenshot, dark mode, etc.
• Brand-new application visual effects optimization, presenting a brand new interface.
• More animation effects adjustment, smoother operation experience.
• More than 80 details optimized.

As mentioned earlier, the update is currently limited to China. It is not known when the company will roll out this to global units. Lastly, it is worth noting that some features may not be available internationally just like any other Chinese ROM.
