Redmi is gearing up to launch a new device in its numbered series called the Redmi 11A. Till now, the smartphone has been spotted on China’s TENAA database and Bureau of Indian Standards database, signaling that it will be launched in these regions.

Now, the smartphone has also appeared on Singapore’s IMDA database with a global model number of 22120RN86G. In contrast, the Indian model has the model number 22120RN86I, whereas the Chinese model has the model number 22120RN86C. The listing does not reveal any specifications, however, it indicates that the phone will launch in other global markets aside from India. According to an earlier TENAA listing, the Redmi 11 is said to feature a 6.7-inch IPS LCD display with an HD+ resolution of 1650 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a 2.0GHz octa-core processor and 2 GB / 4 GB / 6 GB / 8 GB of RAM.

Storage capacities of 32 GB, 64 GB, 128 GB, and 256 GB are expected to be available for the Redmi 11A. It will have a microSD card slot, which will allow for more storage. It has a 5,000mAh battery inside. Information regarding the device’s capacity for fast charging is not yet available.

Whether the gadget will ship with Android 12 OS or the latest Android 13 OS is not yet known. The device has 50-megapixel dual rear cameras and a 50-megapixel front camera for taking pictures. An IR blaster is also included.

Redmi 11A has been spotted on the Bureau of India Standards certification website. It is listed with model number 22120RN86I where the ‘I’ at the end refers to India. The device with the same model number except ‘C’ in the end had bagged TENAA certification earlier this month. The BIS listing does not reveal any information about the website apart from hinting at the imminent arrival of the smartphone in the country.

Meanwhile, the TENAA listing of the Redmi 11A includes its key specifications and design. The device will arrive as the successor to the Redmi 10A that debuted earlier this year.

As per TENAA, the Redmi 11A has a 6.70-inch IPS LCD display bearing an HD+ resolution and a waterdrop notch. The back panel is seen in a Dark Grey colour with diagonal stripes. The panel also houses a square camera module with an expected 50MP main sensor, a secondary lens, and an LED flash. The camera island also has a conventional fingerprint scanner. On the front, there will be a 5MP selfie snapper.

The listing reveals that the Redmi 11A will reportedly be powered by a 2.0GHz processor. It will be available in multiple configurations and pack up to 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage. The device will be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit. The upcoming offering will also feature an IR Blaster.

Redmi is yet to confirm the existence of the Redmi 11A. With the TENAA and BIS certifications, we can expect the smartphone to o official in China and India respectively.

The listing, which only revealed the images of the phone, has now been updated with its entire specifications. The design and specifications of the phone suggest that it may debut with the Redmi 11A moniker in the global market.

The images of the Redmi 22120RN86C reveal that it is fitted with a waterdrop notch display. The phone features a square-shaped module on the back that houses a dual camera setup with an LED flash and a fingerprint scanner. The alleged 11A is likely to arrive in storage options like 32 GB / 64 GB / 128 GB / 256 GB. For additional storage, it will be equipped with a microSD card slot. It houses a 5,000mAh battery. At present, there is no information on the fast-charging capabilities of the device.

A Redmi phone with model number 22120RN86C has been spotted on China’s TENAA certification website. The listing reveals the smartphone’s design. Going by the images, we assume that the device is the Redmi 11A since the design looks similar to the Redmi 10A that debuted earlier in April this year. The upcoming offering is expected to arrive as the successor to the Redmi 10A and Redmi 9A.

The TENAA image reveals that the Redmi 11A has a waterdrop notch display. The power and volume rocker buttons are located at the right side of the device. The back panel is seen in a Dark Grey colour with diagonal stripes. The panel also houses a square camera module with two vertically stacked sensors and an LED flash. The camera island also has a conventional fingerprint scanner.

Apart from the design, the listing does not reveal any core specifications of the Redmi 11A. The Redmi 10A and 9A were powered by MediaTek Helio G25 processors.
