<p>Choosing the right budget-friendly 5G smartphone can be tricky, especially with options like the Redmi 14C 5G and iQOO Z9 Lite competing in the same price range. Both devices promise impressive features like smooth displays, capable cameras, and reliable performance, making it essential to compare their strengths. This comparison highlights the key differences, helping you decide which phone suits your needs better</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Display</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="731" height="721" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-170.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-670840" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-170.png 731w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-170-300x296.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-170-696x686.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-170-426x420.png 426w" sizes="(max-width: 731px) 100vw, 731px" /><figcaption>Redmi 14C </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G and iQOO Z9 Lite both feature durable builds with a plastic frame and glass front, but the iQOO Z9 Lite includes a plastic back, making it slightly less premium in feel. Both phones are splash and dust resistant, though the iQOO Z9 Lite boasts an IP64 rating, offering added peace of mind for water resistance.</p>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G comes with a larger 6.88-inch IPS LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals compared to the iQOO Z9 Lite’s 6.56-inch screen and 90Hz refresh rate. However, the Z9 Lite compensates with higher brightness levels (up to 840 nits), making it more usable in direct sunlight.</p>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G’s larger display and higher refresh rate give it a competitive edge for multimedia and gaming, though the iQOO Z9 Lite’s higher brightness may appeal to those who use their phone frequently outdoors.</p>

<h3><strong>Specifications </strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="635" height="712" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-171.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-670841" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-171.png 635w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-171-268x300.png 268w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-171-375x420.png 375w" sizes="(max-width: 635px) 100vw, 635px" /><figcaption>iQOO Z9 Lite</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 (4 nm) chipset, while the iQOO Z9 Lite uses the MediaTek Dimensity 6300 (6 nm). Both are capable mid-range processors, but the Redmi’s newer 4 nm architecture is more efficient, enhancing performance and battery life.</p>

<p>Battery-wise, Redmi offers a larger 5160mAh capacity with 18W fast charging, while the iQOO Z9 Lite has a 5000mAh battery and slower 15W charging. Redmi also supports PD charging, adding versatility for users with different adapters.</p>

<p>While both phones are great for day-to-day usage, Redmi’s more efficient chipset and larger battery make it the better option for heavy users.</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-172.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-670842" width="692" height="526" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-172.png 693w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-172-300x228.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-172-552x420.png 552w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-172-80x60.png 80w" sizes="(max-width: 692px) 100vw, 692px" /><figcaption>iQOO Z9 Lite</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Both phones feature a 50 MP main camera with PDAF for detailed shots, but the iQOO Z9 Lite adds a 2 MP depth sensor for portrait photography, which the Redmi 14C lacks. Both phones sport an 8 MP selfie camera with similar 1080p video capabilities.</p>

<p>The iQOO Z9 Lite&#8217;s dual-camera setup provides more flexibility for portrait photography, while the Redmi 14C focuses on simplicity with its single-camera approach.</p>

<p>The iQOO Z9 Lite edges out slightly in camera versatility, but for those who prioritize single-lens simplicity and sharp details, the Redmi holds its own.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G starts at ₹9,999, making it more budget-friendly compared to the iQOO Z9 Lite at ₹10,499. Both phones deliver excellent value, but the ₹500 price difference may be significant for budget-conscious buyers.</p>

<p>For its price, the Redmi 14C 5G offers better performance and battery life, making it the more cost-effective choice, while the iQOO Z9 Lite is better for users seeking additional camera versatility.</p>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="667" height="610" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-173.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-670843" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-173.png 667w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-173-300x274.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-173-459x420.png 459w" sizes="(max-width: 667px) 100vw, 667px" /><figcaption>Redmi 14C</figcaption></figure></div>

<ul><li><strong>Redmi 14C 5G</strong>: Larger 6.88-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate, Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset with 4 nm efficiency, a bigger 5160mAh battery, and competitive pricing.</li><li><strong>iQOO Z9 Lite</strong>: Dual cameras with depth sensing, higher brightness (840 nits), and IP64 water resistance.</li></ul>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G stands out for performance and display quality at a lower price, while the iQOO Z9 Lite excels in camera versatility and outdoor usability. Choose based on your priorities: multimedia and gaming (Redmi) or versatility and brightness (iQOO).</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-14c-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi 14C 5G</a> and Realme C63 5G are two budget-friendly smartphones vying for attention in the competitive 5G market. Both models promise impressive features at affordable prices, catering to users looking for performance, durability, and modern connectivity. This comparison highlights their strengths and differences, helping you decide which one suits your needs better. Whether you prioritize display quality, performance, or battery life, this guide simplifies the decision-making process, ensuring you make an informed choice.</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Display</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="509" height="661" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-136.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-669843" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-136.png 509w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-136-231x300.png 231w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-136-323x420.png 323w" sizes="(max-width: 509px) 100vw, 509px" /><figcaption>Remi 14c 5G</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G features a larger 6.88-inch IPS LCD with 120Hz refresh rate, offering smoother visuals. It boasts a durable build with splash and dust resistance, catering to everyday durability. The Realme C63 5G, though slightly smaller at 6.67 inches, provides a better screen-to-body ratio (85.1%) and a more vivid 625 nits brightness in HBM. Both models have HD+ resolutions but differ in pixel density, with Realme offering a slightly sharper display.</p>

<p>Realme’s slightly better brightness and screen-to-body ratio make it more appealing for vibrant visuals, while Redmi’s larger screen could suit multimedia enthusiasts better.</p>

<h3><strong>Specifications</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="506" height="658" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-138.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-669845" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-138.png 506w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-138-231x300.png 231w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-138-323x420.png 323w" sizes="(max-width: 506px) 100vw, 506px" /><figcaption>Realme C65 5G</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, which is built on a 4nm process, offering better efficiency. It supports up to 6GB RAM and has a robust 5160mAh battery with 18W charging. The Realme C63 5G uses the Dimensity 6300 chipset (6nm), boasting better performance with higher CPU clock speeds. Its 5000mAh battery supports 15W charging, slightly slower than Redmi.</p>

<p>Redmi’s battery capacity and efficient chipset ensure longer usage, but Realme’s performance-oriented Dimensity chip edges ahead for multitasking.</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="816" height="559" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-669844" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137.png 816w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137-300x206.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137-768x526.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137-218x150.png 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137-696x477.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137-613x420.png 613w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-137-100x70.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 816px) 100vw, 816px" /><figcaption>Redmi 14C 5G</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Redmi 14C 5G features a 50MP primary camera and an 8MP selfie camera, while Realme C63 5G opts for a 32MP main shooter with an equally capable 8MP front camera. Redmi’s higher resolution main camera likely captures more detail, whereas Realme prioritizes dynamic range with its f/1.9 aperture.</p>

<p>For photography enthusiasts, Redmi&#8217;s higher megapixel count stands out, but Realme could deliver better low-light performance.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G is priced at ₹9,999, making it slightly more budget-friendly compared to the ₹10,300 Realme C63 5G. Both phones offer competitive features for their price points. However, the price difference is negligible. Redmi provides excellent value for budget-conscious buyers while Realme&#8217;s higher price is justified by its performance edge.</p>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="651" height="753" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-139.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-669846" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-139.png 651w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-139-259x300.png 259w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-139-363x420.png 363w" sizes="(max-width: 651px) 100vw, 651px" /><figcaption>Realme C65 5G</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Redmi stands out with a larger battery and a high-resolution 50MP camera, ideal for users prioritizing endurance and photography. Realme excels with a sleeker design, better brightness, and a slightly more powerful chipset, catering to those who value style and multitasking.</p>

<p>Redmi excels in practicality and longevity, while Realme caters to users who prioritize performance and aesthetics.</p>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/01/06/redmi-14c-launch-india-rs-9999/">recently went official</a> in India as the brand’s second most affordable 5G smartphone in the country <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/20/redmi-a4-5g-debuts-in-india/">after Redmi A4 5G</a>. The device succeeds the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-13c-5g/">Redmi 13C 5G</a> from last year.</p>

<p>The handset arrives with minute changes in terms of specs. However, its design gets an overhaul. It looks more like a premium smartphone though isn’t one.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-14c-5g/">Redmi 14C 5G</a> starts at ₹10,999 (~$130) just like its predecessor. So how is it different from the earlier model with the same price tag? Let’s find out in this article.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="682" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured-1024x682.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi 14C 5G" class="wp-image-667437" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured-1024x682.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/Redmi-14C-5G-Featured.jpg 1226w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<h3><strong>Premium-looking Design</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G resembles flagship smartphones from Chinese brands. It has a large centrally aligned circular camera module.</p>

<p>The design is complemented by eye-catching colors. Apart from the standard black hue (Stargaze Black), the phone also comes in a blue paint job with white accents (Starlight Blue) and purple with starry patterns (Stardust Purple).</p>

<p>Overall the product is slightly larger than Redmi 13C 5G, owing to a bigger display. At the same time, it is heavier and weighs up to 212g depending on color.</p>

<h3><strong>Bigger Screen</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G flaunts a 6.88-inch display with a dewdrop notch. This LCD panel offers an HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The display can reach a peak brightness level of 600 nits.</p>

<p>Whereas the Redmi 13C 5G has a bit smaller 6.74-inch screen. However, the specs are the same for both panels.</p>

<h3><strong>Different Chip</strong></h3>

<p>Under the hood, the Redmi 14C 5G houses a Qualcomm Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset. While the Redmi 13C 5G is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 6100 Plus chip.</p>

<p>Both chipsets are more or less identical in terms of performance. They are also paired with the same LPDDR4x RAM and UFS 2.2&nbsp;storage.</p>

<p>But the newer model ships with HyperOS based on Android 14. Thus, it gets an additional year of support.</p>

<h3><strong>Larger Battery</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G is backed by a larger battery than the Redmi 13C 5G. It is equipped with a 5,160mAh unit compared to a 5,000mAh cell inside the older model.</p>

<p>However, both of them support the same 18W charging standard. So the charging speed should be slower on the newer phone but it should last longer.</p>

<p>Interestingly, the Redmi 14C 5G ships with a 33W charger, while the Redmi 13C 5G comes with a slower 10W power adapter.</p>

<h3><strong>Different Selfie Camera</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G is equipped with an 8MP front-facing camera. Whereas, a 5MP shooter sits on the front of Redmi 13C 5G.</p>

<p>Nevertheless, both come with the same 50MP main camera. This primary sensor is paired with an unnamed secondary sensor.</p>

<p>Redmi 14C is all set to go official <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/12/27/redmi-14c-5g-india-launch-date/">on Jan. 6 in India</a>. It will be a budget-friendly 5G offering, which will be positioned above the Redmi A4 5G that debuted with a price tag of Rs 8,499 (~$100) in Q4 2024 in India. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Abhishek Yadav, has revealed the price of the device before its official announcement.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi 14C 5G price in India (rumored)</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="590" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-1024x590.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-666967" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-1024x590.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-300x173.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-768x443.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-696x401.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-1068x616.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image-728x420.png 728w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/image.png 1396w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>As per the leak, the 4GB+128GB variant of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-14c-5g/">Redmi 14C 5G</a> will have an MRP of Rs 13,999 (~$165). This indicates that it may launch a price tag of Rs 10,999 (~$130) or Rs 11,999 (~$140).</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi 14C 5G key details</strong></h3>

<p>The landing page for the Redmi 14C 5G, available on Mi.com, Flipkart, and Amazon, has revealed limited details about the phone.  The device will come with a 6.88-inch HD+ LCD screen that offers a 120Hz refresh rate.</p>

<p>The brand has also confirmed that the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset powers the Redmi 14C 5G. It will be available in three shades, such as black, white, and blue. As can be seen, the overall design of the Redmi 14C 5G’s design is almost identical to the Redmi A4 5G, which features the Snapdragon 4s Gen 2 chipset. The official images confirm the device&#8217;s 50-megapixel primary camera.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-a4/">Redmi A4 5G’s</a> rebranded version is being sold as the Poco C75 5G in India. There’s a possibility that the Redmi 14C 5G may also have a Poco variant. Poco has recently launched the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-poco-m7-pro-5g/">Poco M7 Pro 5G</a>. There’s a possibility that the 14C may get rebranded as the Poco M7.</p>

<p>While the company has not officially named the device, tipster Paras Guglani suggests it will be the Redmi 14C 5G, targeting global and Indian markets. The Redmi 14C 5G, expected to be a global iteration of the Chinese <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-14r/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi 14R 5G</a>, was spotted on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/16/redmi-14c-5g-geekbench/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Geekbench in October</a>. The listing confirmed a Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 processor.</p>

The device features a 6.88-inch display with a resolution of 1640 × 720 pixels, 600 nits peak brightness, and a 240Hz touch sampling rate. It supports DC dimming, eye protection, and functionality with wet hands.</p>

<p>Powered by the Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chipset, the phone offers up to 8GB RAM and 256GB storage. It is equipped with a 13MP rear camera and a 5MP front camera. The device includes a 5160mAh battery with 18W charging support and measures 171.88mm x 77.8mm x 8.22mm.</p>

<p>For context, the Redmi 14C 4G scores around 418 and 1390 in the tests respectively. So the upcoming 5G version is going to deliver a considerably smoother experience with your day-to-day tasks alongside faster connectivity.</p>

<p>The motherboard information revealed by the Geekbench listing confirms that the chipset is Snapdragon 4 Gen 2, which is built on a power-efficient 4nm process node. The chipset comes with a 6+2 core architecture: 6 power efficient cores clocked at 1.96GHz and two performance cores at 2.21GHz.The listing also reveals support for 8GB RAM and the use of Android 14.</p>

<h2>Redmi 14C 5G: what to expect?</h2>

<p>According to previous reports, the phone is a rebrand of the Redmi 14R 5G, launched in China last month.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="801" height="552" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-655316" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2.png 801w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2-300x207.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2-768x529.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2-218x150.png 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2-696x480.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2-609x420.png 609w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Redmi-14C-5G-2-100x70.png 100w" sizes="(max-width: 801px) 100vw, 801px" /></figure>

<p>The 14R 5G is built around a large 6.88″ HD+ (720 x 1640) display that reaches a peak brightness of 600 nits under direct sunlight and 450 nits manually. The brightness is okay considering the price range. Under the hood, the phone packs a large 5160mAh battery.</p>

<p>In terms of cameras, the phone packs a dual setup on the back – 13MP main + 2MP macro – and a 5MP selfie on the front.</p>

<p>The Snapdragon 4 Gen 2 chip is paired with UFS 2.2 storage, which is also an upgrade over the much slower eMMC module of the Redmi 14C 4G. It suggests faster loading time for apps.</p>

<p>The Redmi 14C 5G has already made its appearance on Xiaomi&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/14/exclusive-redmi-14c-5g-officially-confirmed/">HyperOS source code</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/06/20/exclusive-redmi-14c-5g-coming-soon/">IMEI</a> database suggesting an imminent release. </p>

<h2>Pricing (rumored):</h2>

<p>According to 91mobiles, the phone could be launched in the Indian market with a price tag of Rs 10,000 &#8211; 12,000. In comparison, the 4G version was launched in the global market for a price tag of $119 USD, which is equivalent to Rs 10,000. </p>

<p>As <a href="https://xiaomitime.com/exclusive-poco-m7-5g-coming-to-india-this-month-13319/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">XiaomiTime exclusively reports</a>, the specifications of the POCO M7 5G have been revealed. The new smartphone will have features similar to those of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/06/20/exclusive-redmi-14c-5g-coming-soon/">Redmi 14C 5G.</a> With the information revealed from the HyperOS source code, the existence of the new smartphone is officially confirmed. Of course, the POCO M7 5G will be exclusive to the Indian market and is not expected to be sold in the Global market.</p>

<h2>POCO M7 5G coming soon</h2>

<p>With the POCO M7 5G, we now have some information about <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi&#8217;s </a>upcoming product lineup: Redmi 14C 5G, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/09/12/redmi-14r-launched-in-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi 14R 5G</a>, and POCO M7 5G. Let&#8217;s talk about the POCO M7 5G first. The POCO M7 5G will have the codename “flame_p”. This smartphone will come with the same specifications as the recently introduced Redmi 14R 5G and the upcoming Redmi 14C 5G. We can confirm this information with the HyperOS source code.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="379" height="166" data-id="650293" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/POCO-M7-5G-24108PCE2I.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-650293" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/POCO-M7-5G-24108PCE2I.jpg 379w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/POCO-M7-5G-24108PCE2I-300x131.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 379px) 100vw, 379px" /></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="562" height="210" data-id="650294" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/POCO-M7-5G-24108PCE2I-1.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-650294" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/POCO-M7-5G-24108PCE2I-1.png 562w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/09/POCO-M7-5G-24108PCE2I-1-300x112.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 562px) 100vw, 562px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>POCO M7 5G comes with the model number 24108PCE2I. The codename “flame_p” in the HyperOS source code does not escape attention. The codename “Flame” belongs to the Redmi 14R / 14C 5G. “flame_p” stands for ‘Flame POCO’. This suggests that the Redmi 14R/14C 5G models will be rebranded as POCO M7 5G.</p>

<p>Of course, as we mentioned above, the POCO M7 5G will only be sold in the Indian market and we don&#8217;t expect this device to be sold in other regions. The POCO M6 5G featured the Dimensity 6100+ SoC, the new POCO model will be powered by Snapdragon 4 Gen 2. The POCO M7 5G is expected to be a very affordable smartphone and will differ from the Redmi 14R/14C 5G models in terms of camera, etc. But basically, the POCO M7 5G should have the same features as the devices we mentioned.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/05/31/redmi-13c-5g-vs-redmi-12-5g-comparison/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi 13C 5G</a> featured an IPS LCD display with a size of 6.74 inches and a refresh rate of 90Hz, a MediaTek Dimensity 6100+ chipset, 5G connectivity support, a 50MP main camera and a 5MP front camera. Redmi 14C 5G is expected to come with similar features and hardware. However, the specifications of the Redmi 14C 5G are unknown.</p>

<p>As for the launch date of the device, its predecessor Redmi 13C 5G was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/12/29/redmi-13c-5g-launched-in-china-with-749-yuan-105-starting-price/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">officially announced in December 2023</a>.
