On the other hand, the Redmi A2+ is available in a single configuration, offering 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, priced at Rs. 8,499. These devices will be conveniently available for purchase from popular platforms such as Amazon.in, Mi.com, Mi home stores, and various offline stores, starting from May 23rd. It’s worth noting that the Redmi A2 2GB RAM and 64GB storage variant will be made available at a later date.

Xiaomi had previously confirmed that it is gearing up to launch a new budget grade smartphone in India. Now, the Redmi A1+ has officially been announced in the market. So let’s have a look at its specs, pricing, and more.

The new affordable handset from the Chinese tech giant sports a 6.52 inch display on the front that has an LCD panel, 20:9 aspect ratio, waterdrop notch, and HD+ resolution with a standard 60Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the rear packs a dual camera setup on a camera module housed on the top left corner. This also houses an LED flash and there is also a rear mounted fingerprint scanner near the center of the back panel. Notably, the rear panel also offers a leather texture finish to add some premium feel.

The camera setup includes an 8 megapixel primary sensor and a 2 megapixel depth shoother on the rear, while the front houses a 5 megapixel selfie camera. Redmi is working on a bunch of A-series smartphones. The company recently teased the launch of the Redmi A1. And today a new smartphone, dubbed Redmi A1+ has been spotted on TDRA UAE’s website, hinting at an imminent launch. It is expected to be an entry-level smartphone and may debut alongside the Redmi A1.

According to tipster Mukul Sharma, a Redmi smartphone with the moniker Redmi A1+ has been spotted on the TRDA certification database with the model number 220733SFG. The listing did not provide the specifications of the smartphone. However, it has confirmed the moniker and has signaled an imminent launch. Recently, a device with the same model number also appeared on the IMEI database.

Details about the Redmi A1+ are still pretty short. Its moniker suggests it may be launched as a budget smartphone with decent specs. More details will likely emerge soon.
