Ahead of the launch, it has appeared on the 3C certification website.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-384408 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/redmi-gaming-phone-featured.jpg?x44794" alt="" width="683" height="505" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/redmi-gaming-phone-featured.jpg 683w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/redmi-gaming-phone-featured-300x222.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/redmi-gaming-phone-featured-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/redmi-gaming-phone-featured-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/redmi-gaming-phone-featured-568x420.jpg 568w" sizes="(max-width: 683px) 100vw, 683px" /></p>
<p>A Redmi smartphone with model number <strong>M2104K10AC</strong> appears on 3C certification database. If you recall, this device is said to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/31/redmi-gaming-phone-with-dimensity-1200-could-be-rebranded-as-poco-handset/">launch as the Redmi&#8217;s first gaming phone</a>. Anyway, the certification shows that the device is rated for a <strong>maximum of 67W charging</strong>.</p>
<p>Considering it&#8217;s a gaming phone, it will most likely be a wired charging. That said, 67W charging isn&#8217;t new to Xiaomi. Recently, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-mi-11-ultra/">Mi 11 Ultra</a> debuted with 67W wired+ wireless. Do note that this is not the fastest charging protocol that Xiaomi has unveiled.</p>
<p>The company brought Mi 10 Ultra last year and it had up to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/08/22/xiaomi-mi-10-ultra-transparent-eview-120x-zoom-120w-charging-120hz-display/">120W charging support</a>. That being said, this 67W charging support, goes in<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/04/05/redmi-gaming-smartphone-will-have-support-for-65w-fast-charging/"> line with the earlier report</a> as well. So, it&#8217;s just a matter of time till the company confirms itself.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-384398 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Redmi-gaming-phone-m2104k10ac-3c-certificaiton-e1618495290618.png?x44794" alt="" width="850" height="167" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Redmi-gaming-phone-m2104k10ac-3c-certificaiton-e1618495290618.png 850w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Redmi-gaming-phone-m2104k10ac-3c-certificaiton-e1618495290618-300x59.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Redmi-gaming-phone-m2104k10ac-3c-certificaiton-e1618495290618-768x151.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/04/Redmi-gaming-phone-m2104k10ac-3c-certificaiton-e1618495290618-696x137.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 850px) 100vw, 850px" /></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p>Also, if you note the charger, it has a model number <strong>MDY-12-EF</strong> which is the same one that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/03/16/377445-xiaomi-67w-charger-3c-china-could-be-mi-11-pro-ultra/">got certified under Xiaomi</a> a while ago. It&#8217;s great to see Redmi get the latest tech as Xiaomi&#8217;s top-of-the-line flagship and the adaption is faster than before.</p>
<p>Redmi has already confirmed that its first gaming phone will be <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/21/redmi-to-launch-its-first-gaming-smartphone-to-be-powered-by-the-dimensity-1200/">powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 1200 chipset</a>. The device is said to feature a special &#8220;Call Of Duty&#8221; Theme, optimized for &#8220;PeaceKeeper Elite&#8221; with better haptic vibrations, etc.</p>
<p>While the other specs aren&#8217;t confirmed, it is likely to come with a 5,000mAh battery, 64MP Sony IMX686 camera, run<a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/miui-12.5"> MIUI 12.5</a> out of the box. Also, there are reports that this device could launch under &#8216;POCO&#8217; branding in India. Let&#8217;s wait for more info in the coming days.</p>
