<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a> is reportedly planning to launch the Redmi K70e, Redmi K70, and Redmi K70 Pro by the end of this year. These devices are said to be equipped with the Dimensity 8300, Snapdragon 8 Gen 2, and Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipsets, respectively. In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station revealed (via. <a href="https://www.techgoing.com/redmi-k70-pro-leak-reveals-metallic-frame-3x-telephoto-camera/"><em>TechGoing</em></a><em>) </em>a few new details about the K70.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K70 Pro could be first K-series phone with telephoto camera</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-1024x536.png?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 Pro" class="wp-image-505691" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-1024x536.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-300x157.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-768x402.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-696x364.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-1068x559.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1-803x420.png 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-1.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K60 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It can be said based on DCS’ Weibo post that the Redmi K70 Pro will be almost a premium device featuring a metallic middle frame, promising better durability than its predecessor. The leak also suggests that the K70 Pro could be the first-ever Redmi K-series phone to feature a telephoto camera. It seems that the telephoto snapper supports 3x optical zoom.</p>

<p>Reports have claimed that the 23117RK66C, 2311DRK48C, and 23113RKC6C model names belong to the Redmi K70e, K70, and K70 Pro, respectively. DCS previously claimed that the K70 Pro (23113RKC6C) will have the upcoming Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 onboard, but its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/26/redmi-k70-pro-spotted-on-geekbench-revealing-processor-ram/">recent Geekbench listing</a> revealed that it has a Dimensity 9200+ chip.</p>

<p>Commenting on the tipster, Kacper Skrzypek <a href="https://twitter.com/kacskrz/status/1695659142352883976">said </a>that the listing has a minor issue. On Geekbench, the 23113RKC6C Redmi phone is labelled &#8220;Corot,&#8221; a designation already associated with the Redmi K60 Ultra (23078RKD5C). The tipster claims that the device&#8217;s model has likely been faked, as there is no indication of a newer model within the ROM. This doesn&#8217;t necessarily rule out the launch of 23113RKC6C, but he is skeptical that the 23113RKC6C device is truly &#8220;Corot.&#8221;</p>

<p>As per other reports, the Redmi K70 Pro will have a flat display that offers a 2K resolution and possibly a 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, it may feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-3">Snapdragon 8 Gen 3</a> chip, up to 24 GB of LPDDR5x RAM, 1 TB of UFS 4.0 storage, and a 5,120mAh battery with 120W fast charging. It may come with MIUI 14-based Android 13 and an in-screen fingerprint scanner. The K70 Pro may get <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/06/30/redmi-k70-k70e-k70-pro-model-numbers-revealed-poco-f6-f6-pro-in-works/">rebranded</a> as the Poco F6 Pro in the global market.</p>

<h3>Design</h3>
<p>The aesthetics of these three phones do not differ too much. The only important difference is the positions of the elements in the camera module of the Redmi K60E, but for the rest, these devices are pretty much the same. They come with flat displays, punch holes placed centrally, and rectangle-shaped camera modules.</p>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>Despite belonging to different price ranges, the phones from the Redmi K60 Series have the same amazing display. We are talking about an OLED panel with a diagonal of 6.67 inches, a Quad HD+ resolution of 1440 x 3200 pixels, a 120 Hz refresh rate, Dolby Vision support, HDR10+ certification, a peak brightness of 1,200 nits, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. The handsets also come with good stereo speakers.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Specs &amp; Software</h3>
<p>The processors found on these devices are all different. The most powerful phone of the trio is the Redmi K60 Pro as it is equipped with a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform running at a max frequency of 3.2 GHz. The SoC is paired with up to 16 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of UFS 4.0 native storage. You can get the same memory configuration if you choose the vanilla version, but with an inferior chipset: the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 by Qualcomm. The Redmi K60E has just 12 GB of RAM in its most expensive configuration, as well as an inferior Dimensity 8200 chipset by MediaTek. The vanilla version and the Pro run Android 13 out of the box, while the Redmi K60E is still based on Android 12.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Camera</h3>
<p>If you are looking for the best cameras, then you should go for the Redmi K60 Pro. It has a triple rear camera including a 54 MP main sensor with OIS, an 8 MP ultrawide shooter, and a 2 MP macro lens, as well as a 16 MP selfie snapper. The vanilla Redmi K60 has the same secondary sensors, but with an inferior main camera: a 64 MP shooter with OIS. The Redmi K60E is the most disappointing one because it has a 48 MP main camera with OIS (the secondary sensors remain the same).</p>

</ul>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>If your goal is to get a longer battery life, then you should go either for the vanilla Redmi K60 or the Redmi K60E because they have a bigger battery, with a capacity of 5500 mAh. On the other hand, the Pro charges quicker thanks to 120W fast charging, while the other variants feature 67W fast charging.</p>
<h3>Price</h3>
<p>The Redmi K60 starts from about $379/€350, the Redmi K60 Pro from $498/€460, and the K60E from $325/€300. Which one would you pick?</p>

<p>The Xiaomi<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k60/"> Redmi K60 </a>and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k60-pro/">Redmi K60 Pro</a> smartphones come with several similarities inside. A teardown video of the two Xiaomi models has highlighted the similarities and differences in their internals.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="602" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1-1024x602.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60" class="wp-image-507286" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1-1024x602.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1-300x176.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1-768x451.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1-696x409.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1-1068x627.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1-715x420.jpg 715w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Xiaomi sold over 300,000 units of the Redmi K60 series within five minutes of its release. The teardown video by Wekihome presents a sneak peek of the K60/ K60 Pro’s internal components. The detailed disassembly video shows that the two phones have striking similarities. This implies a simplified assembly process for the two models. The Redmi K60 Pro has a larger camera sensor than the K60. The vanilla model thus has a plastic bracket around its camera to adjust its dimensions. Both models also have a similar motherboard layout.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="602" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23-1024x602.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 vs Redmi K60 Pro" class="wp-image-507284" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23-1024x602.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23-300x176.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23-768x451.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23-696x409.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23-1068x627.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23-715x420.jpg 715w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-23.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The video reveals the two different chipsets of the K60 and K60 Pro. While the base model is equipped with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chipset while the K60 Pro has the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. The pro model uses UFS 4.0 from Samsung and Micron’s LPDDR5X RAM. On the other hand, the K60 uses UFS 3.1 and LPDDR5 from Samsung. In terms of heat management, both models use a massive vapor chamber for cooling the chipsets. The sizes of the vapor chambers are slightly different, however.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="602" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22-1024x602.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60" class="wp-image-507285" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22-1024x602.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22-300x176.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22-768x451.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22-696x409.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22-1068x627.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22-715x420.jpg 715w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/redmi-k60-22.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>The Redmi K60 Pro supports 120W wired fast charging and its motherboard has an extra chip for that. Both models sport the Surge P1 charging chip at the bottom. The K60 has a larger battery size than its pro sibling. The K60 also has a larger battery capacity but both models could offer similar battery performance.</p>

</div></figure>

<p>The Xiaomi Redmi K60 and K60 Pro were released in December 2022. They both got a tumultuous reception in the market and the flagship K60 Pro model offers up to 12GB of RAM and 512GB of storage.</p>

<p>In his most recent video, titled &#8220;<a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qUOOSG5m5yw">OnePlus 11 Review</a>&#8220;, Chinese technology content creator, Xiaobai&#8217;s Tech Reviews collected all battery life data amongst all notable smartphones released in the past 5 months. In his findings, it was discovered that the OnePlus 11 had only managed to achieve a screen-on-time (SOT) of 5 hours and 33 minutes, the worst amongst all Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship devices released so far.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="538" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-1024x538.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-507017" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-1024x538.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-300x158.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-768x403.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-1536x807.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-2048x1076.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-696x366.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-1068x561.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-1920x1009.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Graphic_UP-799x420.jpg 799w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The battery endurance test consisted of mixed smartphone usage on social media, video and music streaming, video recording, as well as heavy smartphone gaming with releases such as Genshin Impact, Honor of Kings, and Game For Peace (PUBG rebrand in China). Do note that the software applications tested here are meant for the Chinese market, global releases may have different software battery optimisations.</p>

<p>Despite sporting a rather large 5000mAh battery, the OnePlus 11 lasted shorter than the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k60-pro/">Redmi K60 Pro</a> with the same-sized 5000 mAh cell, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-13-pro/">Xiaomi 13 Pro</a> with a 4820mAh cell and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x90-pro/">Vivo X90 Pro+</a> with a 4700mAh cell.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The reviewer noted that the main culprit behind the OnePlus 11’s rather mediocre battery life compared to its competition seems to be that the device is not properly battery-optimised for music streaming and social media browsing. The video highlighted that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-11/">OnePlus 11</a> had consumed up to 80% more battery than the Xiaomi 13 Pro on Chinese social media and microblogging site, Weibo.</p>

<p>The battery drain problem could be fixed in a future software update by <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oneplus/">OnePlus</a>, but you should base your purchases on what the device offers now, not on hopes and promises. As for gaming, the device performed on par with the competition from Xiaomi and Vivo.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="704" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-1024x704.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-507014" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-1024x704.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-300x206.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-768x528.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-218x150.png 218w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-696x478.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-1068x734.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-611x420.png 611w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1-100x70.png 100w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/OnePlus-11-Battery-Endurance_Photo-1.png 1267w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Source: Xiaobai&#8217;s Tech Reviews on YouTube</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The reviewer also showed the battery endurance of all the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagships released in the market so far. Here is a short SOT ranking of the longest-lasting flagships that feature Qualcomm’s latest flagship SoC (from best to worst):&nbsp;</p>

<ol><li>Nubia Red Magic 8 Pro (tested at FHD + 120Hz) (6000 mAh) &#8211; 8 hours 17 minutes </li><li>Nubia Z50 (tested at FHD + 144Hz) (5000 mAh) &#8211; 6 hours 54 minutes </li><li>Redmi K60 Pro (tested at 2K + 120Hz) (5000 mAh) &#8211; 6 hours and 44 minutes </li><li>iQOO 11 (tested at 2K + 144Hz) (5000 mAh) &#8211; 6 hours and 23 minutes</li><li>Xiaomi 13 (tested at FHD + 120Hz) (4500 mAh) &#8211; 6 hours and 17 minutes </li><li>Xiaomi 13 Pro (tested at 2K + 120Hz) (4820 mAh) &#8211; 6 hours and 2 minutes  </li><li>Vivo X90 Pro+ (tested at 2K + 120Hz) (4700 mAh) &#8211; 6 hours and 1 minute </li><li>OnePlus 11 (tested at 2K + 120Hz) (5000 mAh) &#8211; 5 hours and 33 minutes </li></ol>

<p>The OnePlus 11 is to make its global debut next month, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/19/oneplus-11-india-launch-on-february-7-with-buds-pro-2/">on February 7th in India</a>, so it is hoped that OnePlus can resolve the battery drain problem before its global release. As of now, if you are considering picking up a 2023 flagship yourself, you can check out our review of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/22/xiaomi-13-pro-review-part-1/">Xiaomi 13 Pro</a> or the <a href="https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UFc2-c0fsA4">iQOO 11</a>, both featuring the latest top-end Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/?s=xiaomi">Xiaomi</a> launched the Redmi K60 series comprising the regular, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k60-pro/">Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k60e/">K60E</a> variants in China last month. The K60 and K60 Pro went on sale in the country yesterday. Today, the Xiaomi sub-brand announced the success of the first flash sale of the smartphones. The company revealed on the microblogging platform Weibo that it has sold the first batch of 3,00,000 units of the Redmi K60 phones in 5 minutes.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="768" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60-768x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-506314" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60-768x1023.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60-1153x1536.jpg 1153w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60-696x927.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60-1068x1423.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60-315x420.jpg 315w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/Redmi-K60.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure></div>

<p>The sales numbers sound impressive considering that 3,00,000 units were sold in 5 minutes. This means that 100 units were purchased every second or 60,000 units were purchased every minute. Unfortunately, despite the success of the first sale, the Redmi K60 series still falls short of the sales record of its predecessor. The Redmi K50 comprising of two devices sold 3,30,000 units in the first day. This is a 10 percent decline in the first flash sale.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The Xiaomi sub-brand said that users loved new features like a 1220p screen, wireless charging, and Snapdragon 8 processors. It remains to be seen if the overall sales of the Redmi K60 series will surpass the Redmi K50 series.</p>

<p>As for core specifications, the Redmi K60 series feature a 6.67-inch OLED display bearing a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The regular, Pro, and K60E come with 60MP, 50MP, and 48MP main sensors paired with an 8MP ultra-wide-angle lens, and a 2MP depth snapper. Internally, the K60 and K60 Pro are powered by Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processors respectively whereas the K60E is equipped with Dimensity 8200 SoC. All three devices pack up to 16GB LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB storage. The Pro model is backed by a 5,000mAh battery with support for 120W wired charging whereas the regular and K60E is fuelled by a 5,500mAh cell with 67W charging.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/30/the-latest-redmi-k60-series-is-available-on-giztop/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K60 series </a>has received its first system update, which optimizes system stability and fixes a display issue with the status bar. It runs on the MIUI 14 operating system, which aims to improve simplicity and smoothness. This update includes the MIUI photon engine and an improved Android kernel, allowing third-party app developers to create power-saving apps that use less energy. These apps may see a reduction in energy consumption of up to 22%.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/miui-14/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MIUI 14 i</a>mproves system performance and storage space usage on devices. It reduces the amount of storage space taken up by the system and allows for the deletion of some pre-installed apps, including some of its own system apps. <p>Today, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a> will unveil the Redmi K60 series of smartphones through a major launch event at 7 PM (local time) in China. Recent Redmi K60 Pro teasers have shown that it will have enough power to compete with other Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 flagship phones on the market. A new poster from the company confirms that the Redmi K60 Pro will be able to charge wirelessly.</p>

<p>The company hasn&#8217;t said how fast the Redmi K60 Pro will be able to charge wirelessly. Rumors are rife that the Redmi K60 Pro as well as the Redmi K60 will support wireless charging. Reports have revealed that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro will support 67W wired charging. The Redmi K60e is likely to support 120W fast charging, but it is unlikely to support wireless charging.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="768" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging-768x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 Pro wireless charging" class="wp-image-505220" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging-696x928.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging-1068x1424.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging-315x420.jpg 315w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-wireless-charging.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /><figcaption>Redmi K60 Pro wireless charging</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi K60 series will be announced and will be available for purchase by early 2023. This time, there will not be a gaming-focused device named the Redmi K60 Gaming. The company claimed that the Redmi K60 Pro is very powerful and good enough for gaming.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a> K60 series is scheduled to debut <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/23/heres-the-first-look-at-redmi-k60-series/">on Dec. 27 in China</a>. Ahead of the launch, the company has started confirming the key specifications of the K60 Pro. Earlier today, the company confirmed the K60 Pro will be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2. Now, it has released new posters to reveal and confirm a few more things about the device.</p>

<p>The Redmi K60 Pro is confirmed to feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> mobile platform. As can be seen in the poster below, the K60 Pro will be equipped with 16GB of LPDDR5x RAM and 512GB of UFS 4.0 storage.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-gallery has-nested-images columns-default is-cropped">
<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="690" height="920" data-id="504794" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-16GB-RAM-512GB-sorage.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 Pro 16GB RAM, 512GB sorage" class="wp-image-504794" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-16GB-RAM-512GB-sorage.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-16GB-RAM-512GB-sorage-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-16GB-RAM-512GB-sorage-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></figure>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="690" height="920" data-id="504795" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-5000mm2-VC-cooling.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 Pro 5000mm2 VC cooling" class="wp-image-504795" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-5000mm2-VC-cooling.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-5000mm2-VC-cooling-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Pro-5000mm2-VC-cooling-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></figure>
</figure>

<p>Hence, it appears that the K60 Pro will offer topnotch performance like other flagship phones such as the Xiaomi 13 series, iQOO 11 series, Moto X40, and OnePlus 11, which are also equipped with SD8G2, LPDDR5x RAM, and UFS 4.0 storage.</p>

<p>The company revealed that the K60 Pro has recorded the highest-ever score of <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/23/redmi-k60-pro-with-snapdragon-8-gen-2-scores-1-35-million-on-antutu-redmi-k60-gaming-officially-cancelled/">1,350,526 points</a> on AnTuTu benchmarks. On <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/23/redmi-k60-pro-geekbench/">Geekbench 5</a>, it scored 1462 in the single-core test and 5038 in the multi-core test. The 12 GB RAM variant of the device was benchmarked on the K60 Pro.</p>

<p>The K60 Pro is also confirmed to house a 5,000mm2 vapor-chamber liquid cooling area, which is made out of stainless steel material. The company says that the K60 Pro is so powerful that there is no need for a gaming phone. Hence, the company will be launching the K60 Pro instead of the K60 Gaming.</p>

<p>Other reports have claimed that it will have an OLED panel that offers a 2K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. It may feature a 50-megapixel primary camera on the back. The device may house a 5,000mAh battery with 67W fast charging.</p>

<p>Though we have reached the end of the year, smartphone releases keep happening. The next week will be the last week of 2022 but still, companies have scheduled phone launches.</p>

<p>Four brands have confirmed to debut new handsets in the coming days. <p>Now, the Redmi K60 Pro has appeared on Geekbench revealing its performance, while simultaneously confirming some of its specs. Notably, the brand revealed the AnTuTu results of the smartphone today, revealing an impressive score of 1.35 Million.</p>

<p>Geekbench has the device listed with model number 22127RK46C, which we know to be the Redmi K60 Pro. According to the listing, the phone will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon SoC with the &#8220;Kalama&#8221; motherboard. It has an octa-core processor with a 3.19GHz maximum clock speed. The SoC also includes three efficiency cores running at 2.02GHz and four performance cores clocked at 2.8GHz. This is none other than the latest <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> chip.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image is-style-default"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="648" height="820" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Possible-Redmi-K60-Series22127RK46C-Geekbench.webp?x10805" alt="Redmi" class="wp-image-504757" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Possible-Redmi-K60-Series22127RK46C-Geekbench.webp 648w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Possible-Redmi-K60-Series22127RK46C-Geekbench-237x300.webp 237w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Possible-Redmi-K60-Series22127RK46C-Geekbench-332x420.webp 332w" sizes="(max-width: 648px) 100vw, 648px" /></figure></div>

<p>The phone will arrive with 12GB of RAM, according to the listing. Xiaomi should introduce the phone with additional RAM and storage choices. It is also revealed that Android 13 will be pre-installed on the handset. It should have MIUI 14 on top of it.</p>

<p>The phone&#8217;s single-core and multi-core tests are also included in the Geekbench listing. In the single-core and multi-core tests, it received 1462 and 5038 respectively. This result is on par with other flagships launching with the new chip, meaning that we can expect top-tier performance from the mid-ranger.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K60 Pro specifications</strong></h3>

<p>The Redmi K60 Pro will include an OLED display with a 2K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. The LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage will be included with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2-powered phone. It will have a 5,000mAh battery and support 30W wireless charging in addition to 67W rapid charging.</p>

<p>The device will come preinstalled with an Android 13 OS based on MIUI 14. It might have a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 primary camera for photography. It will have a fingerprint scanner embedded in the display.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-8200" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Dimensity 8200</a> will undoubtedly be found in the Redmi K60e. Most likely, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-plus-gen-1" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1</a> will be found in the K60. In areas outside of China, it&#8217;s possible that the K60 will be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/10/11/poco-f5-5g-key-specifications-leaked-heres-what-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rebranded POCO F5 5G</a>.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a> has officially confirmed today that the Redmi K60 series <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/23/heres-the-first-look-at-redmi-k60-series/">will debut on Dec.</a> <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/23/heres-the-first-look-at-redmi-k60-series/">27</a>. It also revealed that the Redmi K60 Pro will be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 mobile platform. In addition, the company also confirmed that there will be no &#8220;e-sports edition&#8221; in the K60 family. In other words, the company will not be launching the rumored gaming-focused Redmi K60 Gaming in 2023.</p>

<p>Redmi said that the K60 Pro with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> onboard will not only come equipped with a flagship configuration but also with e-sports performance. The company added that it will offer ruthless performance and will be stacked against other flagship phones launching in 2023.</p>

<p>Redmi says that the Redmi K60 Pro&#8217;s image quality and frame quality will be better than those of gaming phones because it has a self-developed tuning engine. It will also offer a richer flagship performance. The company confirmed that the K60 Pro scored 1,350,526 points on AnTuTu benchmarks.</p>

<p>Yesterday, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi </a>released a Weibo post to say that it will be arriving as a 2023 New Year’s gift, which suggests that it will launch in the next few days in the home market. Today, the company confirmed that the Redmi K60 will debut on Dec. 27 at 7pm (local time). It also rolled out a poster to give a first look at its design.</p>

<p>It&#8217;s not clear which of the three phones Redmi showed in the poster below. There is a possibility that the K60e, K60, and K60 Pro may sport a similar rear design.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="768" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look-768x1024.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 series first look" class="wp-image-504720" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look-768x1024.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look-1152x1536.jpg 1152w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look-696x928.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look-1068x1424.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look-315x420.jpg 315w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-series-first-look.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /><figcaption>Redmi K60 series first look</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The poster reveals that the Redmi K60 series has a rectangle-shaped camera module with three cameras and a pill-shaped LED flash unit inside. On the top, it seems to feature a microphone, an IR blaster, and a speaker grille. The device has a textured design on the back.</p>

<p>Redmi also confirmed today that the Redmi k60 Pro will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2">Snapdragon </a>8 G<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2">en 2</a>. Earlier this month, it was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/08/redmi-k60e-launch-date-revealed-confirmed-to-feature-new-dimensity-chip/">revealed </a>that the Redmi K60e will have the&nbsp;<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-8200">Dimensity 8200</a> chipset onboard. It can be said based on recent rumors that the Redmi K60 will come equipped with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-plus-gen-1">Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1</a> chipset.</p>

<p>Rumors are rife that the Redmi K60 will be rebranded as the POCO F5 5G in the global market. In recent weeks, three Redmi phones with model numbers, such as 22127RK46C, 22122RK93C, and 23013RK75C have been certified by the 3C authority of China. These devices are said to be the Redmi K60e, K60, and K60 Pro. The 3C certifications have revealed that the K60e will support 120W fast charging, whereas the other two will offer 67W fast charging.</p>

<p>We have been hearing about the Redmi K60 series for a long time. Today, the brand has shared a teaser hinting at the launch timeline of these smartphones.</p>

<p>Since a few details about these phones have already leaked, let’s take a look at everything that’s known about them in this article.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser-1024x683.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 Series Teaser" class="wp-image-504490" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-Series-Teaser.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>According to the official Redmi Weibo account, the Redmi K60 series will ‘focus on ultra-high performance’. The lineup is dubbed as ‘performance series’.</p>

<p>As far as the launch date is concerned, the Redmi K60 series is <a href="https://weibo.com/3021514657/MkL77aWPI">said to arrive</a> as the first New Year’s gift in 2023. Hence, it may go official in the first week of January. We also could not rule out the possibility of these handsets getting announced by the end of December.</p>

<p>Talking about specs, the vanilla <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi-K60/">Redmi K60</a> is expected to be powered by the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset. Whereas, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi-K60-Pro/">Redmi K60 Pro</a> will house the older Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 SoC and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Redmi-K60e/">Redmi K60e</a> will be equipped with a Dimensity 8200 chip.</p>

<p>As per the MIUI codebase, the K60 and K60 Pro will boot MIUI 14 based on Android 13, while the K60e will ship with Android 12-based MIUI 13. That’s because the latter is based on the canceled Redmi K50s (Xiaomi 11T for China). Hence, it will come with 120W charging support but the other two models will be limited to 67W charging.</p>

<p>Last but not least, the Redmi K60 Pro is expected to release as Poco F5 in global markets. It will be the first Poco-branded smartphone with a 2K display. The Poco F4 Pro would have had this title if it <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/10/24/canceled-poco-f4-pro-appears-in-a-video/">had not been canceled</a>.</p>

<p>Several reports have claimed that the <a href="https://gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a> K60 series will debut in Q1 2023 in China. However, the machine-translated text of a new Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station reads that &#8220;the Redmi K60 series will be seen at the end of this month.&#8221; Hence, there is a possibility that the official teaser of the K60 lineup may surface by the December end</p>

<p>It appears that Redmi has made some changes to the K60 series’ product positioning for the Chinese market. The Redmi K60E will be positioned like the Redmi K50 in China. The K60 will correspond to the Redmi K50 Pro, whereas the K60 Pro will be positioned as the K50 Gaming. To those who are unaware, Redmi General Manager Lu Weibing had earlier hinted this month that there will not be a Redmi K60 Gaming Edition phone.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/REdmi-K60.png?x10805" alt="REdmi K60" class="wp-image-504181" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/REdmi-K60.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/REdmi-K60-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/REdmi-K60-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/REdmi-K60-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/REdmi-K60-630x420.png 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K60 concept render</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi K60 lineup is likely to be positioned under the Xiaomi 13 lineup, which starts at 3,999 Yuan (~$573) in the home market. There is a possibility that the K60 lineup could be priced between 2,000 Yuan (~$287) and 4,000 Yuan (~$573).</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K60 series specifications (rumored)</strong></h3>

<p>Reports have claimed that the Redmi K60E will arrive with an OLED display that offers a 1.5K resolution. It will arrive with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-8200">Dimensity 8200</a> chipset and a 5,500mAh battery. It will have a 48-megapixel Sony IMX582 primary camera.</p>

<p>The Redmi K60 and K60 Pro will feature an OLED panel that offers a 2K resolution. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-plus-gen-1">Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1</a> and<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2"> Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 </a>mobile platforms, respectively, will power both phones. The latter may come equipped with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/13/redmi-k60-series-may-offer-snapdragon-8-gen-2-lpddr5x-ram-ufs-4-0-storage/">LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage</a>.</p>

<p>The Redmi K60 may also pack a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging, whereas the Pro model may feature a slightly smaller 5,000mAh battery with 120W fast charging. Both handsets will offer 30W wireless charging. The K60 will arrive with a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera, while the Pro model may feature a 50-megapixel Sony IMX890 main camera.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi</a> is reportedly working on the Redmi K60 series for the Chinese market. Reports have suggested that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/11/27/redmi-k60-redmi-k60-pro-redmi-k60e-specifications-leaked/">lineup will have three device</a>s, such as the Redmi K60, the K60 Pro, and the Redmi K60E. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/09/redmi-k60-gaming-may-not-exist-suggests-redmi-gms-weibo-post/">According to a recent report</a>, the company is unlikely to launch a gaming-focused model called the Redmi K60 Gaming. The K60E is already<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/12/08/redmi-k60e-launch-date-revealed-confirmed-to-feature-new-dimensity-chip/"> confirmed</a> to feature the Dimensity 8200 chip. The leaked specs of the K60 and K60 Pro that have surfaced so far are quite confusing. What’s known is that both models are likely to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 chip. It appears that the flagship model in the Redmi K60 family will be packed with top-of-the-line specs.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k60/">Redmi K60</a> is likely to feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-plus-gen-1">Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1</a> chipset, whereas the Redmi K60 Pro could be equipped with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-2">Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</a> mobile platform. In a recent Weibo post, tipster Digital Chat Station can be seen saying that <em>the main flagship series of all the sub-systems</em> (machine-translation) will have 16 GB of RAM and 512 GB of storage.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1-1024x683.png?x10805" alt="Redmi K60 render" class="wp-image-501912" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1-1024x683.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1-300x200.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1-768x512.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1-696x464.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1-1068x712.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1-630x420.png 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/Redmi-K60-render-1.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K60 render</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It appears that the tipster could be talking about the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro. The Weibo post suggests that both models will have LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage, which are also available on recently released flagships like the Xiaomi 13 series, iQOO 11 series, and Vivo X90 series.</p>

<p>It is likely that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro will come equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED display. Both devices may support 67W fast charging. These devices are likely to run on the Android 13 OS with the MIUI 14 skin on top. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-8200">Dimensity 8200</a>-powered K60E is likely to support 120W fast charging.</p>

<p>While responding about the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2’s performance to a Weibo user, Redmi GM Lu Weibing <a href="https://weibo.com/1892653244/MiD6Gfqfb">recently said</a>, &#8220;<em>There is no need for e-sports phones in 2023, and e-sports phones are doomed to die out (</em>machine translation).&#8221; This suggests that the company may not launch the Redmi K60 Gaming in 2023. To those who are unaware, Redmi launched the K50 Gaming, a gaming-focused phone, this year as a successor to last year&#8217;s Redmi K40 Gaming. A Weibo post by tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the K60 Gaming will be replaced by the Redmi K60 Pro.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/image-38.png?x10805" alt="" class="wp-image-501085" width="714" height="261" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/image-38.png 1023w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/image-38-300x109.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/image-38-768x280.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/image-38-696x254.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 714px) 100vw, 714px" /></figure></div>

<p>As can be seen below, reliable tipster Digital Chat Station shared a screengrab of Weibing’s Weibo post and said that the Redmi K60 Pro is very good at playing games and there is no need for the Redmi K60 Gaming edition. So, it looks like the K60 Gaming will be replaced by the Redmi K60 Pro, which may have a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 processor.</p>

<p>There is some confusion related to the Redmi K60 series’ specifications that have appeared so far. The following chart is based on <em><a href="https://xiaomiui.net/redmi-k60-poco-f5-series-leaked-with-weird-soc-system-39075/">Xiaomiui’s recent report</a></em>.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-table"><table><tbody><tr><td><strong>Redmi K60 series</strong></td><td><strong>Model number</strong></td><td><strong>Display</strong></td><td><strong>Chipset</strong></td><td><strong>Charging</strong></td><td><strong>OS</strong></td></tr><tr><td>Redmi K60 (Codename: Socrates)</td><td>22122RK93C (China)</td><td>Unknown</td><td>Snapdragon 8 Gen 2</td><td>67W</td><td>Android 13 + MIUI 14</td></tr><tr><td>Redmi K60 Pro (Codename: Mondrian)</td><td>23013RK75C&nbsp;(China)&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;<br>23013RK75G (Global)<br>23013RK75I (India)</td><td>AMOLED 2K 120Hz</td><td>Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1</td><td>67W</td><td>Android 13 + MIUI 14</td></tr><tr><td>Redmi K60 (Codename: Rembrandt)</td><td>22127RK46C (China)<br>&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;&nbsp;</td><td>Unknown</td><td>Dimensity 8200</td><td>120W</td><td>Android 12 + MIUI 13</td></tr></tbody></table></figure>

<p>As can be seen, the Redmi K60 Pro is mentioned with Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 and the K60 is said to arrive with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2.</p>

<p>However, Digital Chat Station’s leak suggests that the K60 Pro may come equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC.</p>

<p>The POCO F5 5G is in the works for the global and Indian markets. It is likely to be a rebranded version of the SD8+G1 variant of the K60 series.</p>

<p>It is no secret that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi</a> is working on its next generation of high-performance devices known as the Redmi K60 series. So far, leaks and certifications have revealed that the series will have three models &#8211; Redmi K60, Redmi K60 Pro, and Redmi K60E.</p>

<p>Now, leaked images (via DCS) of the Redmi K60’s box have appeared online, indicating that the device is being mass-produced and the brand is stocking up ahead of the launch. Earlier, the Redmi K60 series was expected to debut by the end of the year; however, due to Xiaomi <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/11/30/xiaomi-13-iqoo-11-launch-delayed-jiang-zemin/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">postponing</a> the launch of the Xiaomi 13 series, the launch timeline of the Redmi K60 series has also been moved to early January.</p>

<p><a href="https://xiaomiui.net/redmi-k60-series-first-2023-flagships-launching-soon-box-and-details-leaked-39457/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomiui</a> has uncovered the internal MIUI builds for the Redmi K60 series, with <em><strong>V14.0.2.0.TMNCNXM, V14.0.0.4.TMKCNXM, and V13.0.1.0.SMMCNXM</strong></em> representing the K60, K60 Pro, and K60E, respectively. It reveals that the Redmi K60 and K60 Pro will debut with MIUI 14, while the K60E will launch with MIUI 13. Xiaomi is expected to officially launch MIUI 14 at the Xiaomi 13 launch event.</p>

<p>The K60E has a Snapdragon 870 or Dimensity 8200 chip, according to previous leaks, whilst the K60 and K60 Pro have Snapdragon 8+ gen 1 and Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chips, respectively. The Redmi K60, according to reports, will have a 6.67-inch AMOLED 120Hz display. It could have a 5,500mAh battery with 67W fast charging. The Redmi K60 will have a 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 primary camera with OIS on the back. </p>

<p>The K60 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to feature a 2K AMOLED display with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it is said to contain a 50MP main camera sensor, which is claimed to be a modified Sony IMX766 sensor. Unfortunately, the finer details of the Redmi K60 series are not available yet.</p>

<p>Rumors are rife that the Xiaomi 13 series will be announced by November end or early December in China. After the announcement of the Xiaomi 13 series, the company will shift its focus to the Redmi K60 series, which is likely to include at least three models, such as the <a href="https://www.gizmcohina.com/tag/redmi">Redmi </a>K60, K60 Pro, and K60 Gaming. A new leak, courtesy of reliable tipster Digital Chat Station, has <a href="https://weibo.com/6048569942/MdSW6BYI4?from=page_1005056048569942_profile&amp;wvr=6&amp;mod=weibotime&amp;ssl_rnd=1667791694.656&amp;type=comment">revealed </a>key information about the Redmi K60 series’ cameras.</p>

<p>According to the tipster, one of the devices in the K60 lineup will have an OIS-enabled 64-megapixel main camera, whereas another model will have a 50-megapixel camera with OIS support as the primary snapper.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50-1024x683.jpg?x10805" alt="Redmi K50" class="wp-image-493884" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/Redmi-K50.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K50</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>It is being speculated that the vanilla Redmi K60 will have a Sony IMX686 64-megapixel main camera, whereas the Redmi K60 Pro will have a 50-megapixel primary camera. The information that has surfaced is quite confusing since the vanilla model was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/11/04/redmi-k60-specifications-seemingly-tipped-well-before-launch/">previously tipped t</a>o feature a 48-megapixel main camera. Hence, it is advisable to wait for further reports to learn more about the primary cameras of the K60 lineup.</p>

<p>The Redmi K60 is expected to arrive with a flat AMOLED display with a punch-hole design. It is likely to be powered by the Dimensity 8200 chipset and a 5,500mAh battery, which will support 67W fast charging.</p>

<p>As compared to the K60, the K60 Pro may come equipped with a better chipset, a superior main camera, and a faster charging solution. The Redmi K60 Gaming is expected to come with an AMOLED panel that offers a 2K resolution, a Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chipset, and 100W charging.</p>

<p>The Redmi K60 series is expected to debut in Q1 2023 in China. Some of the devices in the lineup are likely to get rebranded as POCO devices in the global market. The K60 Gaming may get rebranded as the POCO F4 GT in markets outside of China.</p>
