<p>According to the reliable Chinese tipster @DigitalChatStation, the Redmi K90 Ultra (model number M332BF) will pack Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset along with a built-in air cooling fan system. The idea is to deliver sustained performance comparable to flagships with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/03/20/snapdragon-8-elite-gen-5-phones-list/">Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5</a>.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="933" height="525" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-90.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-741945" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-90.png 933w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-90-300x169.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-90-768x432.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-90-696x392.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-90-746x420.png 746w" sizes="(max-width: 933px) 100vw, 933px" /></figure></div>

<p>On top of that, it&#8217;s expected to come with a massive battery, rumored to be around 8,500mAh, paired with 100W wired fast charging. This is already <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/05/26/redmi-k90-ultra-3c-certified/">confirmed</a> through 3C certification.</p>

<p>This &#8220;Snapdragon + fan + huge battery&#8221; combo is getting really popular lately, and it makes a lot of sense for gamers who want real-world performance.</p>

<p>For some context, this phone sits just below the recently launched <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/04/21/redmi-k90-max-as-first-xiaomi-phone-with-built-in-fan-dimensity-9500-at-the-helm/">Redmi K90 Max</a> (which came out in April 2026). The Max uses MediaTek&#8217;s latest <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/05/04/top-5-dimensity-9500-phones-in-2026/">Dimensity 9500</a> with its own active cooling system, AI graphics enhancement, and a similar giant battery for absolute peak performance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="848" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1-1024x848.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-741930" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1-1024x848.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1-300x248.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1-768x636.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1-696x576.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1-1068x884.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1-507x420.jpg 507w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/Redmi-K90-Max-poster-1.jpg 1080w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The tipster made it clear there’s no overlap issue: the K90 Max is chasing the absolute top-end performance with the latest Dimensity chip, while the Ultra focuses on getting the most out of Qualcomm’s last-gen flagship silicon.</p>

<p>It might even be cheaper for Redmi to add the fan than to use the newest premium chipset. Either way, this approach should deliver strong, sustained performance at an attractive price — similar to what Honor did with their WIN/RT phones.</p>

<p>Other expected goodies include:</p>

<ul><li>A 1.5K flat OLED display with a high refresh rate (possibly up to 165Hz for super smooth gameplay)</li><li>Dual stereo speakers</li><li>An ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner</li><li>Solid IP68/IP69 water and dust resistance</li></ul>

<p>The K90 Max launched at around 3,499 yuan and sold well. The K90 Ultra is rumored to start even lower, which would make it a killer option for gamers and power users who want multi-day battery life and stable performance.</p>

<p>It feels like Redmi is really trying to bring active cooling, which used to be mostly limited to dedicated gaming phones, into more mainstream devices. If the leaks are accurate, the K90 Ultra could be one of those phones that just nails the balance of power, thermals, and value.</p>

<p>We&#8217;re still waiting on official full specs and the exact launch date (likely June or July 2026 in China).</p>

<p>A new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Xiaomi</a> smartphone has reportedly appeared on China’s 3C certification platform. Rumor surrounding this device suggests that it could be a new addition to the K90 family, which already includes the Redmi K90, K90 Pro Max, and Redmi K90 Max. As usual, the 3C listing has only revealed the fast-charging capabilities of the device</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K90 Ultra 3C certified</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="317" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-136.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-739746" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-136.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-136-300x93.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-136-768x238.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-136-696x215.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>According to the certification listing, the alleged Redmi K90 Ultra carries the model number M332BF and supports 100W wired fast charging. Tipster Digital Chat Station <a href="https://weibo.com/6048569942/R19wb0G6W?pagetype=homefeed">claims </a>it could arrive as a mid-range performance-focused smartphone.</p>

<p>Another leak from tipster Xiaomu Technology has revealed a wider set of expected specifications. The smartphone is tipped to feature a 1.5K flat OLED panel with high refresh rate support and a Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset.</p>

<p>The leak also mentions dual stereo speakers, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner and IP68/IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance. One of the more interesting additions could be a built-in physical cooling fan, something usually seen on gaming-oriented smartphones.</p>

<p>The device is tipped to pack an 8,500mAh battery alongside 100W charging support, which could appeal to heavy gamers and power users looking for extended screen time. The device will lack support for wireless charging.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="974" height="556" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-135.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-739745" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-135.png 974w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-135-300x171.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-135-768x438.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-135-696x397.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/image-135-736x420.png 736w" sizes="(max-width: 974px) 100vw, 974px" /></figure>

<p>In terms of product positioning, Redmi may position the K90 Ultra below the Redmi K90 and K90 Max models in the lineup hierarchy. The phone is expected to launch in China around June or July, with a possible starting price of 2,799 Yuan (~$410).</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90-ultra">Redmi K90 Ultra</a> has reportedly cleared certification and is expected to launch this month. Wei Siqi, General Manager of Xiaomi China Marketing Department, recently hinted at the device through a Weibo post shared from a new phone.</p>

<p>One of its standout features is likely to be an internal cooling fan, marking Xiaomi’s first smartphone with active cooling. This system is expected to maintain stable performance during heavy workloads such as gaming. The fan may also adjust automatically based on temperature and usage, helping balance performance and efficiency.</p>

<p>The Redmi K90 Ultra is tipped to feature the Dimensity 9500 chipset, built on TSMC’s third-generation 3nm process, offering noticeable performance improvements. It is also expected to pack an 8500mAh battery with 100W wired fast charging, focusing on both endurance and quick charging.</p>

<p>At the same time, a separate leak from Digital Chat Station that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/26/redmi-k90-pro-snapdragon-8-elite-8000mah-fan-leak-china-launch/">emerged a few weeks ago</a> revealed that another K90 series device is in development. While the exact name is unclear, it is believed that this model could launch as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90-pro">Redmi K90 Pro</a>, potentially alongside the Ultra variant.</p>

<p>The alleged K90 Pro said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chip. It may include a high refresh rate display, an 8000mAh battery, and an internal cooling fan for sustained performance. Additional features could include an ultrasonic in-screen fingerprint sensor, dual speakers, and a water-resistant build.</p>

<p>Reports indicate that this Snapdragon-powered model could be positioned between the existing Redmi K90 and K90 Pro Max. Earlier rumors had also hinted that both the K90 Pro and K90 Ultra could launch together.</p>

<p>According to reliable insider <em>Digital Chat Station</em>, both the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K90 Ultra</a> and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-ace-6-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra </a>will be unveiled in April. Interestingly, both phones are expected to share several features.</p>

<p><em>DCS</em> claims both phones will be powered by MediaTek Dimensity 9500. Its core setup includes a single high-frequency prime core clocked at up to 4.21GHz, alongside three performance cores and four efficiency cores. The chip delivers up to a 32 percent improvement in single-core performance and a 17 percent boost in multi-core workloads over its predecessor.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="300" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/OnePlus-Ace-6-Ultra-and-Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-April.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-732498" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/OnePlus-Ace-6-Ultra-and-Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-April.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/OnePlus-Ace-6-Ultra-and-Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-April-300x100.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/OnePlus-Ace-6-Ultra-and-Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-April-768x256.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/OnePlus-Ace-6-Ultra-and-Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-April-696x232.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The similarities don’t stop there. Both devices are rumored to pack batteries in the 8,000mAh range with support for 100W fast charging, along with ultra-smooth 165Hz displays.</p>

<h2><strong>Redmi K90 Ultra</strong></h2>

<p>The K90 Ultra is also expected to feature a 1.5K-resolution LTPS display, a dedicated graphics chip, and even an active cooling fan.</p>

<p>According to reports, it will have a battery closer to 8,500mAh. If true, that would be unusually large, even for a gaming-focused phone.</p>

<p>Other rumored features include custom-tuned symmetrical stereo speakers, a larger vibration motor for stronger haptics, an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, and an IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.</p>

<h2><strong>OnePlus Ace 6 Ultra</strong></h2>

<p>The Ace 6 Ultra, meanwhile, is tipped to feature a massive 6.8-inch display with a 165Hz refresh rate and, like its Redmi rival, will run on the Dimensity 9500.</p>

<p>The phone has already cleared certification in China, though specific details remain under wraps. A device with the model number PMK110 has surfaced in China’s SRRC database, and it could be the Ace 6 Ultra, but that’s not confirmed just yet.</p>

<p>The Ace 6 Ultra is expected to go head-to-head with the Redmi K90 Ultra when both launch in China this April. For now, there’s no word on whether OnePlus plans to release the device globally, but given the company’s track record, it’s not off the table.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/">Xiaomi</a> may be working on another performance-focused phone under the Redmi brand. A new leak suggests the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra could arrive with a number of features aimed squarely at mobile gamers.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-730078" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max.jpg 1255w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The information comes from tipster Digital Chat Station, who shared several details about the Redmi K90 Ultra on Weibo. If the leak is accurate, the device could end up competing with gaming-oriented phones like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/19/red-magic-11-pro-emulates-cyberpunk-2077-at-playable-40-fps/">RedMagic 11 Pro</a>, at least in terms of raw hardware.</p>

<p>One of the more interesting details mentioned is the presence of an active cooling fan inside the phone. The idea is fairly simple: improve the heat dissipation as much as possible so performance doesn’t drop off too quickly during intense gaming sessions.</p>

<p>Speaking of performance, the phone is rumored to run on MediaTek’s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/09/23/mediatek-dimensity-9500-specs-benchmarks/">Dimensity 9500</a> processor. It may not beat the very latest Snapdragon chips in every gaming benchmark, but it’s still expected to deliver strong performance overall. According to the leak, the device could push frame rates up to 165 FPS in certain games. There’s also mention of a separate graphics chip, which may help stabilize frame rates and improve rendering.</p>

<p>Battery capacity could be another big highlight. Early details suggest the phone might include a battery larger than 8,000mAh, with some reports placing it <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/03/redmi-k90-ultra-key-specifications-tipped/">closer to 8,500mAh</a>. That would be unusually large for even a device designed for competitive gaming.</p>

<p>A few other features have also been mentioned, including custom-tuned symmetrical dual speakers, a larger vibration motor for stronger haptic feedback, an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, and IP68 water and dust resistance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="590" height="190" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-10-054745.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-730080" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-10-054745.png 590w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Screenshot-2026-03-10-054745-300x97.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 590px) 100vw, 590px" /></figure></div>

<p>There’s still no official word from Xiaomi yet. But based on the timing of recent leaks, the Redmi K90 Ultra could make its debut in China sometime around April 2026. If that happens, it may end up offering gaming-style hardware at a price closer to mainstream flagships.</p>

<p>The Redmi K90 Ultra was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/11/redmi-k90-ultra-launch-timeframe-rumor/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">supposed to arrive</a> in February — at least, that’s what earlier rumors suggested. February has come and gone, and there’s still no official word. Now, a new leak indicates the wait might stretch a bit longer.</p>

<p>According to a well-known Weibo tipster, <em>Digital Chat Station</em>, a certain manufacturer’s Dimensity 9500 flagship processor is tentatively scheduled for release in April.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="247" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-timeframe-tipped.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-729362" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-timeframe-tipped.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-timeframe-tipped-300x82.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-timeframe-tipped-768x211.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/Redmi-K90-Ultra-launch-timeframe-tipped-696x191.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>While the post doesn’t directly name the phone, the clues are hard to ignore. Based on the blogger’s previous posting patterns and discussions in the comments, many are speculating that the device in question is the Xiaomi Redmi K90 Ultra.</p>

<h2><strong>Redmi K90 Ultra Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>As for specs, the rumored hardware reads like a checklist of flagship ambitions. The phone is expected to feature a massive 6.8-inch display with 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz refresh rate.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Powering it could be an equally massive <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/03/redmi-k90-ultra-key-specifications-tipped/">8,500mAh battery </a>with support for 100W charging. Other rumored features include a metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and comprehensive water resistance.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-1024x768.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi K90 Pro Max" class="wp-image-719358" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-K90-Prro-Max.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K90 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>There’s also a global angle. The so-called <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-17t-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi 17T Pro</a> is rumored to be a tweaked version of the K90 Ultra for international markets. Carrying the model number 2602EPTC0G, it may ship without certain features like a cooling fan.&nbsp;</p>

<p>In any case, the Redmi K90 Ultra is expected to launch along with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/redmi-k-pad-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K Pad 2</a> in China. It could come with an 8.8-inch 3K display, a flagship-level processor, and a larger 9,000mAh cell.</p>

<p>He added that the device, carrying the model number 2604FRK1EC, is said to feature an ultra-high refresh rate display along with <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/11/redmi-k90-ultra-built-in-cooling-fan-dimensity-9500/">a built-in cooling fan</a>, indicating a strong focus on gaming and sustained performance. This model number, along with its Redmi K90 Ultra branding, was spotted in the GSMA IMEI database back in December 2025.</p>

<p>The numbers “2604” indicate that the Redmi K90 Ultra may debut as early as April in China. The device will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9500">Dimensity 9500</a>, not the Dimensity 9500 Plus chip as previously speculated. The D9500+ is expected much later in the second half of the year.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Redmi K80 Ultra" class="wp-image-693163" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/06/Redmi-K80-Ultra-5.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K80 Ultra</figcaption></figure>

<p>As per reports, the K90 Ultra is expected to feature a massive 6.8-inch display offering a 1.5K resolution and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/19/redmi-k90-ultra-key-specifications/">a 165Hz refresh rate</a>. Under the hood, it may pack <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/03/redmi-k90-ultra-key-specifications-tipped/">an 8,500mAh battery</a> with 100W charging. Other rumored features include a metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and full water resistance.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-17T-pro">Xiaomi 17T Pro</a> is said to be a tweaked version of the K90 Ultra designed for the global market. This device, which is said to carry the model number 2602EPTC0G, may lack a few features, including the cooling fan. The model number for the 17T Pro also hints at an early launch, but since the Xiaomi 17 and 17 Ultra have not yet launched globally, it appears that the 17T Pro may debut within the first half of this year.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a>’s next big launches might not just be about raw power and sharp displays; they could also bring a serious audio upgrade. A fresh leak has revealed that the brand&#8217;s next flagship phone and powerful compact tablet will feature a powerful audio system powered by Bose.</p>

<h2>Bose-Tuned Speakers On the Redmi K90 Ultra &amp; Redmi K Pad 2</h2>

<p>According to known tipster Smart Pikachu, both the Redmi K90 Ultra flagship phone and the Redmi K Pad 2 tablet are tipped to ship with speakers co-tuned with Bose, promising louder, richer sound compared with typical mobile audio systems. This would continue Xiaomi’s emerging partnership with audio giant Bose, following earlier devices like the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k90-pro-max/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K90 Pro Max</a> that introduced Bose-tuned speakers and even a rear-mounted speaker module for more immersive sound.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="512" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-1024x512.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi K90 Pro Max" class="wp-image-713328" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-1536x768.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098-840x420.jpg 840w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/10/REDMI-K90-Pro-Max-Review_1.mp4_20251031_111302.098.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K90 Pro Max</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>So it&#8217;s not a surprise that the Redmi K90 Ultra is expected to be the next flagship to feature a similar three speaker system. This would offer a more immersive audio experience for gaming, movies, and music. The Chinese tech giant might debut in the global market as the Xiaomi 17T Pro, with a similar speaker configuration. Based on what we know so far, the K90 Ultra will reportedly pack a massive <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/02/03/redmi-k90-ultra-key-specifications-tipped/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">8,500mAh battery pack along with a built-in cooling fan</a>. </p>

<p>These specs power and cool a powerful Dimensity 9500 chip. Other notable features may include a tall 1.5K 165Hz OLED display, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, 100W wired fast charging, and more. On the other hand, the Redmi K Pad 2 may debut globally as the Xiaomi Pad Mini 2, offering an 8.8-inch 3K display, a flagship level processor, and a larger 9,000mAh cell. </p>

<p>A new leak suggests that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi</a> is preparing a performance-focused flagship that could significantly raise the bar for gaming-centric smartphones. Early details point to the Redmi K90 Ultra, with emphasis on sustained performance, battery life, and display upgrades, hinting at a notable shift in Redmi’s flagship strategy this year.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K90 Ultra key details tipped</strong></h3>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="958" height="260" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-9.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-725634" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-9.png 958w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-9-300x81.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-9-768x208.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/02/image-9-696x189.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 958px) 100vw, 958px" /></figure>

<p>According to information shared by tipster Digital Chat Station, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90-ultra/">Redmi K90 Ultra</a> is expected to be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9500">Dimensity 9500</a> chipset. Previous iterations of K-series Ultra phones have featured “Plus” versions of Dimensity 9-series chipsets, such as the Dimensity 9400+, Dimensity 9300+, and Dimensity 9200+. Recent reports reveal that this time MediaTek has no plans to launch the Dimensity 9500+, which was expected to be an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9500.</p>

<p>What makes the Redmi K90 Ultra stand out is the reported inclusion of an <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/11/redmi-k90-ultra-built-in-cooling-fan-dimensity-9500/">internal cooling fan</a>. This would make it the first Xiaomi group smartphone to feature active cooling, aimed at maintaining stable performance during extended gaming sessions. The cooling system is expected to allow the chipset to run closer to its peak capabilities without thermal throttling.</p>

<p>The Redmi K90 Ultra is tipped to pack an 8,500mAh battery, with internal testing reportedly ongoing to push the capacity even higher. Fast charging support is said to reach 100W via wired charging, with possible compatibility with high-power PPS standards.</p>

<p>The display is expected to be a large flat panel measuring around 6.8 inches, offering 1.5K resolution and a refresh rate that could <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/19/redmi-k90-ultra-key-specifications/">go as high as 165Hz</a>. With more games now supporting higher refresh rates, this setup should deliver a smoother experience. Other anticipated features include a metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and full water resistance.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi</a> is known for launching its Ultra-branded flagship with a new chipset by the middle of each year. In the past, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k60-ultra">Redmi K60 Ultra</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k70-ultra">K70 Ultra</a>, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k80-ultra">K80 Ultra</a> were launched with the Dimensity 9200+, Dimensity 9300+, and Dimensity 9400+, respectively. However, a new leak reveals that the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra will feature an existing chipset rather than a new one. The same leak has also revealed a few more details about the phone.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K90 Ultra key specs tipped</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="858" height="291" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-62.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-723032" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-62.png 858w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-62-300x102.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-62-768x260.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-62-696x236.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 858px) 100vw, 858px" /><figcaption>Redmi K90 Ultra specs leak</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The above leak, which reportedly pertains to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90-ultra">Redmi K90 Ultra</a>, states that it will feature an OLED panel offering a 1.5K resolution and an ultra-high refresh rate. Under the hood, the device is said to be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9500">Dimensity 9500</a> chipset, not the Plus variant.</p>

<p>A recent leak by the same source revealed that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2026/01/09/oneplus-ace-6-ultra-dimensity-9500-165hz-cooling-fan-leak/">MediaTek will not be launching the Dimensity 9500 Plus</a>, an overclocked version of the existing Dimensity 9500, this year. Coming back to the K90 Ultra leak, it also states that the device will be equipped with a built-in cooling fan, a trend that will gain momentum this year. The tipster added that the phone will offer IP68-level dust and water resistance, along with a relatively clean, minimalist design.</p>

<p>Previous reports have revealed that the Redmi K90 Ultra will feature a 6.8-inch display with support for a 165Hz refresh rate and house a massive 10,000mAh battery with 100W wired charging and fast wireless charging. Despite packing a large battery, the device is said to have an 8.5mm-thick body. It is also expected to arrive with features such as a metal frame and an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor.</p>

<p>As far as launch is concerned, the Redmi K90 Ultra may launch in May or June this year in China. Like the previous generation models, the K90 Ultra may remain confined to the Chinese market.</p>

<p>Tipster Digital Chat Station has revealed that a new smartphone is on the way with a standout combination of ultra-large battery capacity and sleek design. According to his post on Weibo, the unnamed device will include a 10,000mAh battery, support 100W wired charging, and offer full-speed wireless charging, all while keeping its body thickness under 8.5mm.</p>

<p>The tipster did not name the brand, but several clues point to the upcoming Redmi K90 Ultra. Digital Chat Station hinted that the device will be part of a performance-focused sub-series and is expected to use a flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/mediatek/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MediaTek</a> Dimensity 9-series chipset.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="944" height="180" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-111.png?x44794" alt="Redmi K90 Ultra DCS Leak" class="wp-image-719354" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-111.png 944w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-111-300x57.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-111-768x146.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/image-111-696x133.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 944px) 100vw, 944px" /></figure></div>

<p>This marks a significant upgrade over the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-k90-pro-max/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K90 Pro Max</a>, which comes with a 7,560mAh battery. While earlier reports suggested that the new model might feature an 8,000mAh cell, it now appears that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a> has managed to make room for an even larger 10,000mAh unit, without compromising the slim profile.</p>

<p>In the comment section of the post, a user asked why the phone maker did not simply increase the thickness to 9.5mm to allow for even more battery. The tipster responded by asking, &#8220;So you completely don’t care about in-hand feel?&#8221; This suggests that the manufacturer is prioritizing ergonomics while still trying to maximize endurance.</p>

<p>The tipster also dismissed speculation about the use of mid-range processors such as the Snapdragon 7 series or Dimensity 8000 series. He replied with a rhetorical question, “Don’t you want a top-tier processor?”, further hinting that the device will use flagship-level silicon.</p>

<p>As per <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/19/redmi-k90-ultra-key-specifications/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">previously leaked specs</a>, the phone will feature a newly developed flat display, likely measuring around 6.8X inches with a 1.5K resolution and a 165Hz LTPS refresh rate. It is also expected to include a metal frame, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and advanced water and dust resistance.</p>

<p>Xiaomi may not be the only brand chasing the big-battery trend. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/15/oneplus-turbo-series-confirmed-performance-battery-focus/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus is reportedly planning a 9,000mAh battery</a> for its upcoming midrange Turbo series, signaling a broader industry shift toward endurance-focused designs paired with high refresh rate panels.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi</a> unveiled the Redmi K90 and Redmi K90 Pro Max equipped with the Snapdragon 8-series chipsets in China. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Smart Pikachu, has revealed that the company is planning to add more models to the series. He has also revealed the screen size of the two expected models.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K90 Pro, K90 Ultra in the works</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="993" height="271" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-143.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-716305" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-143.png 993w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-143-300x82.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-143-768x210.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-143-696x190.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 993px) 100vw, 993px" /><figcaption>Redmi K90 series to soon add more models</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to the tipster, the Redmi K90 series may introduce two new models possibly positioned as the K90 Pro and the K90 Ultra. These phones are expected to feature 6.6-inch and 6.8-inch displays, adding more variety to the current lineup.</p>

<p>The existing <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90">Redmi K90</a> comes with a 6.59-inch screen designed to balance one-hand comfort with adequate viewing space, while the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k90-pro-max">K90 Pro Max</a> includes a 6.9-inch panel for users who prefer a more immersive display.</p>

<p>The rumored upgrades place the new models between these established sizes, catering to different preferences. Early speculation also suggests the Pro variant could adopt the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9500">Dimensity 9500</a> chipset, while the Ultra model may shift to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9500-plus">Dimensity 9500 Plus</a> for improved performance.</p>

<p>As per a previous leak, the Redmi K90 Ultra may include a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED panel with 1.5K resolution and a high 165 Hz refresh rate. Rounded corners, a metal middle frame, and stronger water protection are also said to be part of the design. Audio is another focus area, as existing K90 models feature speakers tuned in collaboration with Bose, and the upcoming models may continue this partnership.</p>

<p>A major highlight is the possibility of an approximately 8,000mAh battery, which would be a significant upgrade over earlier models. The Ultra is expected to prioritize performance with a high frame rate software layer and a MediaTek Dimensity 9 series chipset.</p>

<p>If Redmi follows its usual release cycle, the K90 Ultra could arrive in mid-2026 in China. There is no launch timeframe for the Redmi K90 Pro, but it is likely that the company may aim to make it official in the first half of 2026.</p>

Early information shared by Digital Chat Station hints at notable upgrades over the existing models, giving an initial picture of how Xiaomi may expand the lineup. The details offer a first glimpse, with more clarity likely as launch approaches.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi K90 Ultra key specifications (rumored)</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="315" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-1024x315.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-715914" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-1024x315.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-300x92.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-768x236.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-1536x473.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-696x214.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-1068x329.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123-1364x420.png 1364w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-123.png 1686w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K90 Ultra key specifications</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to the leak, the Redmi K90 Ultra is expected to feature a 6.8-inch LTPS OLED display with a 1.5K resolution and a fast 165 Hz refresh rate. The screen is said to have rounded corners, and the device may adopt a metal middle frame for added durability.</p>

<p>It is also tipped to support strong water protection, aligning with higher resistance ratings seen on recent premium models. Other expected features include an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint scanner and an upgraded audio system.</p>

<p>Battery capacity is shaping up to be one of the standout elements. The phone is rumored to include an approximately 8,000 mAh battery, a substantial jump over the K90 Pro Max and previous Ultra models. The tipster also hints at a dedicated high frame rate software layer that could enhance the overall performance profile, especially for gaming.</p>

<p>Under the hood, the Redmi K90 Ultra is said to be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 9 series chipset. This could be the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9500-plus">Dimensity 9500 Plus</a>, which is rumored to launch in 2026. While camera specifications have not been mentioned, the leak describes the Ultra as a performance-focused model, suggesting that photography may remain at a reasonable but not flagship-leading level.</p>

<p>The K90 Ultra is expected to follow the release cycle of the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k80-ultra/">K80 Ultra</a>, which arrived in June 2025. If Xiaomi maintains this timeline, the K90 Ultra may debut around mid-2026 in China. There’s a possibility that a modified version of the K90 Ultra may launch as a Xiaomi flagship globally.</p>
