The Redmi Note 10 was launched early last year, targeted at those looking for some great specs without blowing a hole in their wallet. It first booted into Android 11-based MIUI 12.5 out of the box and has stayed on it ever since — until now.

Yesterday, the global variant of the Redmi Note 10 received the much-awaited MIUI 13 update based on Android 12. It is joined today by its Indian variant that got updated to the same as well (via Xiaomiui).

The update currently rolling out in India carries firmware version V13.0.0.6.SKGINXM and its changelog is rather short. Sized 2.6GB, the build’s release notes only mention improved system performance, security, and stability, although some of the MIUI 13 goodies like new wallpapers can be expected too.

Said MIUI 13 update for the Redmi Note 10 is currently under its early rollout stages so it may take a while to reach your device. Only those registered for the Mi Pilot testers program seem to be getting it at the moment, but once declared bug-free, it should be released for all.

Still, you can perform a manual check for the latest available firmware by heading over to Settings > About phone > MIUI version and tapping the “Check for updates” button.

Xiaomi is due to launch the Redmi Note 10 series in India and other Global markets on March 4. With less than two days left, the company has already confirmed that the series will feature an AMOLED display and camera sensors up to 108MP. Now, an unboxing video from Pakistan( YouTube Channel: Technology INN) reveals in-box contents, specs, and features of the Redmi Note 10.

Among the three devices that are leaked so far, the base variant is said to be the Redmi Note 10. And the unboxing video of this has now been uploaded on YouTube only to be taken down sooner(made Private). However, we have managed to grab some information from it.

As per the video, the device in hand is the 4GB RAM, 128GB storage variant in Onyx Gray Color. The in-box contents are:

• Documentation
• TPU case(Silicone material)

And as per the info on the video and the box, the specs and Features of Redmi Note 10 are as follows:

Apart from the 128GB storage, a leak said that the device will also get 6GB RAM and 64 GB storage options. There will likely be two other Green and White color options. The base model of the Redmi Note 10 series is expected to start retailing for around ₹14,999($205).

Xiaomi has been teasing several features of the upcoming Redmi Note 10 series of devices. Ahead of the March 4 launch(India & Global), the company has confirmed that the series will feature a 108MP camera sensor.

The company, took to Twitter to confirm the camera feature on the Redmi Note 10 series. It says that the series will bring the first 108MP flagship camera. Assuming that the series will have two or more devices, it is likely that the Redmi Note 10 Pro/ Pro Max will have the flagship camera(could be Samsung’s HM1 sensor).

The company’s only other device to feature a 108MP camera in the affordable segment is the Mi 10i 5G. Either way, it looks like the 108MP game has finally trickled down to the budget devices. This is because realme has teased its own version of the 108MP camera sensor a few hours ago, and it could be on the realme 8 series.

The Redmi Note 10 series is expected to switch over to the AMOLED panel this time. Last year, the company brought the IPS LCD on the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max. It didn’t even have the support for a higher refresh rate.

However, the latest hands-on leak reveals that the non-Pro Redmi Note 10 will feature a centered punch-hole AMOLED display. This means that the highest model in the series will definitely feature it.

The top-of-the-line variant in the series is expected to be a 5G device. Rumors say that it could be a Snapdragon 768G 5G chipset but there is no confirmation so far. Let’s wait for more details in the coming days.

Redmi has already confirmed that its Note 10 series will get a global debut in India on March 4. Although the launch is at least a couple of weeks away, the company has started teasing the features coming with the devices.

In a Teaser page that’s on mi.com, Xiaomi confirms several features that will be present on the Redmi Note 10 series of devices. First off, the company is seen crediting “Qualcomm Snapdragon” processors Built for GAMING. Since there isn’t a sign of MediaTek on the page yet, we assume both the Redmi Note 10 and Redmi Note 10 Pro will feature Qualcomm chipsets.

Redmi Note 10 – What is Confirmed So far?

Regarding the processors, vague rumors say that the 4G variant will have Snapdragon 720G chipset while a rumored 5G variant will feature Snapdragon 750G. Nothing regarding this is confirmed yet.

However, an Image on the page below confirms that the device will have a Centered punch-hole display.

We aren’t sure if both will have the same design of display but at least one should have it. Once again, the type of display here isn’t confirmed yet but there is a possibility that non-Pro will have an IPS LCD with a 120Hz refresh rate while the Pro variant could have an AMOLED display.

Anyway, it will also have Gorilla Glass Protection on ‘Front'(Maybe Plastic Back panel?) and IP52-Rated Water and Dust resistance. To recall, the Redmi Note 9 Pro Max in India had Gorilla Glass 5 protection so we can expect similar if not lesser on the successor.

Other features confirmed are Hi-Res Audio, Better Haptics, Faster Charging(could at least be 5,050mAh with 33W).

As for the expectations, Xiaomi is teasing Camera as one of the USP of the Note 10 series. Details regarding the camera aren’t confirmed yet but vague rumors say that one of the variants might sport a 108MP camera sensor.

We can also say that Redmi Note 10 will come in come in White, Green, or Grey colors and 4/6GB RAM, 64GB storage while the Note 10 Pro will have 6/8GB RAM, 64/128GB in Bronze, Blue, and Grey options courtesy of Ishan Agarwal.
