Earlier this month, Redmi released the Redmi Note 11 Pro and Note 11 Pro+ smartphones in the Indian market. While the Note 11 Pro+ had already gone on sale last week, today, the vanilla Note 11 Pro is up for grabs. The smartphone comes with an OLED display, a 120Hz refresh rate, and a big battery. Let’s take a look at its pricing and offers.

Redmi Note 11 Pro Price, Offers, and Colors

Redmi Note 11 Pro is priced at Rs. 17,999(~$234) for the base variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB of storage. The 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant can be picked up for Rs. 19,999(~$260). Buyers with HDFC bank cards can get Rs. 1,000 instant discounts on select variants.

The smartphone is available in No Cost EMI options and also has Exchange offers up to Rs. 15,000(~$197). It can be purchased from Amazon and Xiaomi’s official website.

The device comes in Stealth Black, Phantom White, and Sky Blue colors.

Redmi Note 11 Pro Specifications

The Note 11 Pro is a 4G smartphone that comes with a 6.67-inch FHD+ OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The display has a 360Hz of touch sampling rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness. The screen has Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

It has a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP + 2MP quad-rear camera setup with the last two sensors for depth and macro shots. It has a 16MP selfie shooter at the front. The smartphone has a side-facing fingerprint scanner for security, dual stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

Under the hood, it is powered by the MediaTek Helio G96 SoC paired with up to 8GB of LPDDR4x RAM and 128GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. The phone also has a microSD card slot for additional storage requirements. It packs a 5,000mAh battery and has 67W fast charging support. The device has IR blaster support and boots on Android 11 out of the box.

Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G is now even more affordable; gets a price drop in China

Back in October 2021, Redmi launched the Note 11 trio in the Chinese market. Out of the three phones, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ stood out the most since it offered 120W fast charging and 108MP cameras at an affordable price. Now, the phone has received an official price drop in China making it even more affordable.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G was priced at CNY 2099(~$333) for the 8GB RAM and 128GB storage variant, at the time of launch. Now, the device is available for CNY 1999(~$317).

The top-most variant’s price has also gone down by CNY 100(~$16). Now, the top-most variant with 8GB RAM and 256GB storage is available for CNY 2199(~$348) instead of the CNY 2299(~$364) launch price.

The phone has three colors — Mysterious Black, Forest Green, and Timeless Purple. It can be bought at the new price from all Xiaomi stores across China and from online stores like the JD Mall.

At that price, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G seems to be a good deal. The phone offers a 6.67-inch FHD+ AMOLED panel with a 120Hz refresh rate and 360Hz touch sampling rate. It has a 108MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera system and a single selfie snapper.

The phone is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset paired with 8GB RAM and 256GB of UFS 2.2 internal storage. It packs a 4,500mAh battery with 120W fast charging support. The phone can go from 0% to 100% in about 15-17 minutes.

Xiaomi launches the Redmi Note 11 series for the Global market

Xiaomi has officially taken the wraps off the Redmi Note 11 series for its teeming fans around the globe. The global variant of the series is made up of the vanilla Note 11, the Redmi Note 11S, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro 5G.

The Redmi Note 11 series was initially announced for the Chinese market in October 2021. The China variant is made up of three models namely the Redmi Note 11, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro+. The Pro+ is missing from the global lineup while the Note 11 Pro is available in 4G and 5G versions and there is a new Redmi Note 11S model.

The series brings a decent specs lineup to the premium mid-range segment including upgrades in the camera aspect, display, processor, and charging speed. The trio of REdmi Note 11 Pro 5G, Redmi Note 11 Pro, and Redmi Note 11S pack a 108MP main sensor a piece that is engineered to give users an unforgettable camera experience. The sensor is a Samsung HM2 sensor with a large 1/1.52″ sensor size. The camera also utilizes the 9-in-1 pixel binning technology as well as dual native ISO to deliver incredible images with a higher dynamic range and color performance. Redmi Note 11 Pro+ arrives on FCC confirming global presence

Back in October, Xiaomi’s Redmi launched the Redmi Note 11 5G series in China comprising of the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+. Later, the company launched the vanilla Note 11 in India as the Redmi Note 11T 5G. The same handset was made available in the global market with the moniker Poco M4 Pro 5G. Now, the company is all set to launch the top of the line Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in more markets outside China. The device is already in the pipeline as the Xiaomi 11i Hypercharge for India. The same phone has now arrived on the Federal Communications Commission(FCC) confirming its global presence.

According to FCC, the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ for the global market has the model number – 20191116UG. Unfortunately, it does not reveal anything apart from confirming its European existence. But, there’s no need to worry as rumours suggest that the European unit may come with the same specs as the original Note 11 Pro+.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ 5G has a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It boasts a 360Hz touch sampling rate and a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It features a triple camera system at the rear with a 108MP Samsung HM2 primary lens, an 8MP ultra-wide lens, and a 2MP tele-macro lens. Upfront, the device has a 16MP selfie sensor.

Redmi Note 11 Pro vs Note 11 Pro Plus – Is 120W Fast Charging worth the extra price?

In our last video, we fully reviewed the Redmi Note 11 Pro Plus and particularly talked about how the 108MP sensor performed at this point. Unfortunately, when compared to its predecessor, the Note 11 Pro still had room for improvement in the camera department.

So today, let’s take a deeper look at the Redmi Note 11 series by comparing the Redmi Note 11 Pro with the Note 11 Pro Plus.

And let’s find out which model of the series is more recommendable at their respective price points.

Well, let’s see what differences we got on paper first. It seems that battery and charging are the only two remarkable differences between the Note 11 Pro and the Pro Plus. As we mentioned in the last video, Redmi generously brought the insane charging power of 120W to the Plus version, while the Redmi Note 11 Pro comes with a 67W fast charge but at the same time, features a larger 5160mAh battery. Apart from this, these two models do not look much different from each other.

In the Pro Plus review video, we mentioned that 120W fast charging took just 16 mins to get back to 100% of power, which is almost the same result as Xiaomi’s own flagship, the Mi Mix 4. While the full charging test of the Pro version took us around 45 mins, but it’s still faster than some flagships in terms of charging efficiency. Both models are 8.34mm thick, but the Pro weighs 207g, while the Pro Plus’ figure is 204g. You won’t feel any significant difference since it feels almost the same when holding them in your hands. If I didn’t tell you their weights, there would be no way to distinguish one from another. So I would advise you guys to be careful when checking the model and check it from the software end and not from the package you receive. After all, the box is replaceable.

Both the models are powered by the MTK Dimensity 920 5G processor and feature a 120Hz Samsung AMOLED display, the best screen for the Note series to date. They also share the same 108MP camera module.

As for the AMOLED displays, these two models both have a stunning visual experience with the best panel in the budget price range. After comparing the two screens, we are pretty sure that there’s no trick between them, and the two displays bring exactly the same experience.

One of the few significant upgrades that made us happy with the entire Note 11 series is the stereo speakers tuned by JBL. But since we really couldn’t find any difference between the Pro and Pro Plus, it’s better for you guys to check our review video of the Pro Plus. In that video, we brought in the Redmi Note 10 Pro for comparison, and you guys will definitely figure out how significant the audio upgrade is.

Redmi Note 11 Pro vs Note 11 Pro Plus: Cameras

Main Camera

Both of their camera modules are led by a 108MP HM2 sensor, followed by an 8MP ultrawide camera and another 2MP Macro lens. From the samples shot on the Pro and the Pro Plus, we can see that they share the same quality, as well as the same problems. They both present a stable and correct white balance, with a slightly cold color preference. The native 108MP didn’t really help them improve the clarity and sharpness, but on the other hand, they both emphasized relatively good pureness when generating images under low light, which looks so Xiaomi-style. So our conclusion remains the same from the last video — the 108MP mode so far is not being exploited to the native sensor’s potential. But compared to the other models at their price point, no doubt the Redmi Note 11 series is still one of the best options in the market. Especially for the Note 11 Pro, it’s hard to find an opponent that’s close in its strength…….. or is it? Okay, its predecessor, the Redmi Note 10 Pro is also its rival!

Now let’s move on to the night shooting performance. The improvement of night mode is pretty significant for both – Better brightness and noise processing… but there’s still no gap between them.

Ultra Wide Angle Cameras

Let’s move on to the samples shot on their wide-angle cameras. There is still no obvious gap between their samples. They have the same noise issue in dark areas and average sharpness for the 8MP resolution. And night mode slightly optimized the images for both of the models. Apart from that, there are no significant surprises between these two phones.

Macro Cameras

The macro lens of the Pro model basically performs the same way as the Pro Plus. It’s the same camera hardware with the same camera firmware, leading to no difference in imaging.

Performance

About the performance, the Dimensity 920 chipset is likely to be the least impressive part of the entire Redmi Note 11 series, since we’ve seen a more powerful Dimensity 1100 run on their predecessors. And thank God, the 920-chipset run on the Pro version also got a similar optimization as the Pro Plus variant without any compromises. And similarly, limited by the performance of the Dimensity 920, the Pro model’s main camera does not support EIS stabilization in 1080P 60fps and 4K video shooting either.

The Pro model has a slightly longer battery life with a larger capacity of 5160mAh. In our battery life test, the Pro model is estimated to save 10% more on power. Or you could pick the Pro Plus to save around 20 mins for each full charge.

Our Verdict

After completing the comparison, I really miss the Redmi Note 10 Pro more than ever. But the Redmi Note 11 series is still worth its price if you compare the series with other brands’ budget models. It’s most likely to win the title of the best budget series in the market right now.

But after we used both these models for the past few days, we strongly feel that the Pro model is more recommendable. We don’t think it’s worth paying 50 dollars more to get 120W charging speed and shorter battery life. The Pro version features 67W fast charging, which is already a flagship-grade configuration. No matter how indifferent you are to the additional 50 bucks, I’m firmly on the side of the Redmi Note 11 Pro.

Redmi Note 11 trio announced with a mix of OLED/LCD screens, MediaTek SoCs & more!

Xiaomi‘s Redmi brand has finally announced the Redmi Note 11 series after several teasers that indeed achieved their purpose of hyping the device. The products live up to their billing in all aspects – from the processors, design, and other hardware features to the pricing.

The Redmi Note 11 series is made up of the Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and Note 11 Pro+. The two Pro models arrive with almost similar specifications, save for a few differences. They are both powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 920 5G chipset which brings 5G. The processor is manufactured using TSMC’s 6nm process with two Cortex-A78 cores which provides an excellent balance of performance and power consumption.

In terms of appearance, the Redmi Note 11 series adopts a new trendy small vertical edge design. The design is similar to the iPhone 13’s right-angle frame design. The device is equipped with a 2.5D AG glass body.

The Redmi Note 11 Pro series is equipped with a 6.67-inch Samsung AMOLED screen with support for a 120Hz refresh rate. The display also comes with an FHD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels.

On the other hand, the Redmi Note 11 features a 6.6-inch LCD screen that brings support for a 90Hz screen refresh rate and an FHD+ resolution of 2400×1080 pixels. The models all come with VC liquid cooling for heat dissipation and it can effectively reduce the body temperature by 3 degrees.

In terms of photography, the Redmi Note 11 series all pack a 16-megapixel selfie camera on the front. The main camera has a single pixel as large as 2.1μm and also features dual ISO technology, which can shoot more pure night scenes with less noise.

The Redmi Note 11 gets its juice from a 5000mAh battery that has support for 33W fast charging. The device can be fully charged in just 62 minutes. the Note 11 Pro is equipped with a 5160mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging and can be fully charged in 43 minutes.

The top-end Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is equipped with a 4500mAh battery and features support for a massive 120W super-fast charging. The device can go from zero to full charge in just 15 minutes. There is a Comfortable mode that reduces the charging speed. In this mode, the battery goes from zero to full charge in just 19 minutes but the charging temperature is also lower. The good thing is the device ships with a 120W charging adapter so you won’t need to buy one separately.

In other respects, the Note 11 series retains the 3.5mm headphone jack. They are also equipped with JBL symmetrical stereo speakers (except the Redmi Note 11). They are also equipped with NFC, infrared, and X-axis linear motors, Wi-Fi 6, and other features.

Redmi Note 11 series roundup: cameras, design, features – what to expect!

Xiaomi had announced today that the Redmi Note series will be getting two new iterations each year from now as part of a new strategy. This has been implemented to meet the needs of a more diversified userbase. The strategy is probably why we have got the Redmi Note 11 series barely seven months after the Redmi Note 10 series hit the market.

Xiaomi has been kind enough to provide plenty of teasers over the month, revealing some key details about the upcoming Redmi Note 11 series. We have summarized these below to assist you in checking if the phones are worth your money.

Design & Display

The Redmi Note 11 has a much-altered look despite being launched only a few months after its past iteration. The back of the phone resembles the recently launched Redmi 10 Prime thanks to similar camera module designs on both. However, the main aspect of the new look is a boxier body, with a flat back panel and unrounded edges. The phone also measures quite thin – just 8.3mm including the camera module.

As for the display on the Redmi Note 11 series, it is expected to be an AMOLED panel with a Full HD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. The panel will be surrounded by slim bezels and have a small camera punch-hole aligned to the center.

Cameras on the Redmi Note 11 series

Speaking of cameras, the Redmi Note 11 series will feature a triple camera setup at the rear, although the non-Pro variant may come with just two. Rumors have it that the vanilla Note 11 will feature a 50-megapixel + 2-megapixel dual-camera system.

The Note 11 Pro and Pro+, on the other hand, will be equipped with a 108-megapixel primary sensor, complemented by an 8-megapixel ultrawide shooter and a 2-megapixel depth sensor. For selfies, it may come with a 16-megapixel front camera.

Other Specifications

There are speculations that the vanilla Redmi Note 11 will be powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset while the Pro model will feature a Dimensity 920 chipset. The topmost Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is rumored to pack a Dimensity 1200U chipset. Yep, MediaTek all around this year.

The battery on at least the Pro and Pro+ variants will likely be 5,000mAh. The Pro+ will feature 120W superfast charging while the other two are expected to come with 67W support.

A recent teaser had revealed the presence of an X-axis linear vibration motor aimed at delivering shorter and crisper vibrations. The phone has been confirmed to have NFC hardware for contactless payment as well as Bluetooth 5.2 and WiFi 6 support. All models will retain the headphone jack.

Release Date & Software

A recent JD.com listing had revealed a November 1 shipment date for the Redmi Note 11 series in China. The phones are currently up for pre-orders in the country. A global launch should follow soon.

There is no indication of the software version the phones will be running out of the box yet but we wouldn’t get our hopes too high. Android 12 is still under testing and there’s no sign of MIUI 13 yet so it’s likely that the phones will be coming with MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.

Variants & Price

A listing had revealed that the Redmi Note 11 series will be available in 6GB+128GB 8GBRAM+128 GB, and 8GB+256GB RAM and storage variants respectively. Rumors say that these variants may cost 1,599 Yuan (~$248), 1,799 Yuan (~$279), and 1,999 Yuan (~$311) for the Redmi Note 11 Pro.

Redmi Note 11 Pro in Shadow Dream Galaxy color

The Note 11 Pro will come in colors like Mysterious Blackland, Shallow Dream Galaxy, Time Quiet Purple, and Misty Forest. On the other hand, the Note 11 Pro+ will come in the same three colors except Shallow Dream Galaxy.
