Xiaomi launched a special edition Redmi Note 13 Pro+ to commemorate their 10th anniversary in India. This phone partners with the Argentine Football Association (AFA) boasting a unique design and collector’s box.

The limited edition features Argentina’s iconic blue and white stripes and AFA logos. The box showcases an image of Ángel Di María, Emiliano Martínez, and Rodrigo De Paul from the 2022 World Cup squad. Inside, fans will find a customized charger, cable, SIM ejector, and a special card listing past champions.

The smartphone itself has Argentina’s national colors on the back with Messi’s jersey number 10 printed in Gold. Other than that, the phone is pretty much the same as a regular Redmi Note 13 Pro+ in terms of specifications.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ 5G comes with an IP68 dust and water resistanceIP68 dust and water resistance rating, offering a 6.67-inch OLED display that features 2712 x 1220 resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and Gorilla Glass Victus protection. It is powered by a MediaTek Dimensity 7200 Ultra chipset, paired with an Android 14-based HyperOS operating system.

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition comes in a single 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 512GB UFS 3.1 storage version. The camera setup includes a 16MP selfie camera and a rear trio: 200MP primary, 8MP ultrawide, and 2MP macro. Connectivity options feature dual SIM, 5G, WiFi 6E, Bluetooth 5.3, GNSS, NFC, and USB Type-C. Additional features include Dolby Atmos-supported dual stereo speakers, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and an IR blaster. The phone has a 5,000mAh battery that supports 120W wired charging.

This special edition device will be available from May 15th at a launch price of Rs. 34,999, with additional discounts and exchange bonuses available through partnerships with ICICI Bank. The phone can be purchased through Xiaomi’s website, Amazon, Flipkart, and retail stores across India.

Redmi has announced the launch of a new variant of the Note 13 Pro+ smartphone in India. The upcoming offering is the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition featuring the Argentina NT. It is also the first limited-edition variant in the Redmi Note series. The launch coincides with Xiaomi’s 10th anniversary. To recall, the company announced its partnership with the Argentina Football Association as a regional sponsor in May last year. 

Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition to launch next week

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition is scheduled to launch in India on April 30. The company has put up a microsite revealing that subtly gives us a glimpse at the design. The phone is seen in a Dark Blue color back panel with the three camera rings accentuated in Gold color. There is an AFA logo in Gold colour on the right side of the back panel. 

The Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition is expected to come in a customized retail box. We can expect it to be bundled with goodies which is usually the case with limited edition variants of smartphones. 

Tipster Ishan Agarwal shared leaked live images of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition. We could spot the half of the back panel with Blue and White stripes which is similar to the Argentina football team’s jersey. The core specifications of the upcoming offering are expected to be the same as the standard variant. These include a 120Hz curved AMOLED display, Dimensity 7200 Ultra, a 200MP primary camera, and a 120W fast charging. 

With the launch of the Redmi Note 13 Pro+ World Champions Edition, AFA fans will feel more connected to the team.
