<p>The Redmi Note 9 is expected to launch in China as Redmi 10X. The model was recently certified by China&#8217;s telecom&#8217;s regulatory agency TENAA, giving us a glimpse of the design and some ideas of the specs.</p>
<p>The device appeared bearing the model number M2003J15SC. It is listed as having a 6.43-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device is 8.9mm thick and weighs just 198g. It equally comes with a 4,920mAh battery.</p>

<p>In terms of the design, the front and rear designs are similar to those of the Note 9 Pro with a few modifications. First, the device packs a punch-hole located at the upper-left corner as against a centrally placed one. Also, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor just underneath the quad-camera setup. Recall that the Note 9 Pro models feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-featured.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-317602" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-featured.png?x10805" alt="Redmi Note 9" width="695" height="427" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-featured.png 695w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-featured-300x184.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-featured-356x220.png 356w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-featured-684x420.png 684w" sizes="(max-width: 695px) 100vw, 695px" /></a></p>
<p>The mobile phone is said to pack a 2.0GHz Octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 chipset. The device will have 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM versions as well as 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage options. For photography, there is a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP selfie shooter. It will run on Android 10 OS which will definitely have the MIUI custom overlay. we can say if it will have the latest MIUI 12 which will drop a few days earlier.</p>
<p>The Redmi Note 9 is expected to be available in Sky Blue, Green and White colours.</p>

The Redmi Note 9S was later launched in other markets with similar specs as the Note 9 Pro. No mention has been made of the Redmi Note 9 since then but a TENAA listing for the model has emerged suggesting that the brand may take the wraps off the model soon.</p>

<a href='https://www.gizmochina.com/redmi-note-9-tenaa-2/'><img width="480" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-2.jpg?x10805" class="attachment-large size-large" alt="Redmi Note 9" loading="lazy" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-2.jpg 480w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-2-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-2-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px" /></a>

<p>The device hits TENAA with the model number Redmi M2003J15SC. A model bearing this same model number had earlier appeared on China&#8217;s 3C website. The TENAA listing reveals the specifications as well as the images of the device.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-4.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-317584" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-4.png?x10805" alt="" width="710" height="431" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-4.png 710w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-4-300x182.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-4-696x423.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-4-692x420.png 692w" sizes="(max-width: 710px) 100vw, 710px" /></a></p>
<p>The Redmi Note 9 is listed to feature a 6.43-inch IPS LCD display with an FHD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. The device is 8.9mm thick and weighs just 198g. The device equally comes with a 4,920mAh battery. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-5.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-317585" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-5.png?x10805" alt="" width="709" height="285" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-5.png 709w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-5-300x121.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-5-696x280.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 709px) 100vw, 709px" /></a></p>
<p>The front and rear designs are similar to those of the Note 9 Pro with a few modifications. First, the device packs a punch-hole located at the upper-left corner as against a centrally placed one. Also, there is a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor just underneath the quad-camera setup. Recall that the Redmi Note 9 Pro models feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-3.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-317583" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-3.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="480" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-3.jpg 480w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-3-225x300.jpg 225w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/04/redmi-note-9-tenaa-3-315x420.jpg 315w" sizes="(max-width: 480px) 100vw, 480px" /></a></p>
<p>The Redmi Note 9 is listed to pack a 2.0GHz processor which is possibly a MediaTek Helio G8O chipset. The device will have 4GB, 6GB and 8GB RAM versions as well as 32GB, 64GB and 128GB internal storage options. For photography, there is a 48MP main sensor and a 13MP selfie shooter. It will run on Android 10 OS which will definitely have the MIUI custom overlay.</p>
