A new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, suggests that Xiaomi’s sub-brand Redmi is also working on a flagship tablet. Here’s a look at what the tipster shared about the Redmi tablet.

Redmi’s performance-driven tablet is launching next year

The leaker has handled two upcoming tablets from what appears to be from the Xiaomi camp. One is a regular, large-sized flagship tablet, previously mentioned to feature an OLED display with a matte soft light screen and a square-shaped rear camera module positioned at the top left.

Additionally, a sub-brand is prototyping a high-performance, smaller tablet that will likely launch next year. The former appears to be one of the Xiaomi Pad 7 series tablets, whereas the latter seems to be a Redmi product.

It appears that the Xiaomi Pad 7 series will focus on offering a premium experience in departments like display and design. On the other hand, the Redmi’s compact tablet will be a performance-oriented device.
