Xiaomi had just launched a new massive smart TV a couple of days prior. The model in question is the Redmi Smart TV X86, which is finally available for purchase following its pre-order period.

As the name suggests, the Chinese tech giant’s new smart TV features a massive 86 inch display that offers 4K resolution support. It is a high end model that also offers MEMC Motion technology, 1 billion colors, and even a high 97.3 percent screen to body ratio. With its large screen, it aims to offer a colorful full screen wide vision. It also comes with support for dual band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, a USB 3.0 port, a USB 2.0 port, and two HDMI ports as well.

For audio, it houses two in built 10W HiFi speakers that support DTS HD sound, restored live sound effects, and even has XiaoAI voice assistant as well for voice controls. Under the hood, it packs a quad core A55 processor that is coupled with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage. The new Redmi Smart TV X86 runs on MIUI TV OS.

With the start of the 11/11 festival sale, Xiaomi has offered the new Redmi Smart TV X86 for a special introductory pre-sale price tag of 4,999 Yuan in its home market of China. Its original price tag is 5,299 Yuan. So we can expect the price to rise once the sale period is over. There are no global availability details for the TV at this moment. But customers in China can order the TV via JD.com and other leading retail outlets.

Xiaomi has released the Redmi X86 giant-screen TV with a 4K screen and a metal body design. The new Redmi smart TV X86 has an 86-inch screen that outputs 4K content. It supports MEMC motion compensation, 1 billion colors, and a 97% screen-to-body ratio. The dimensions of the TV are 1.9 by 1.2 meters.

The Redmi smart TV X86 supports USB 3.0, USB 2.0, HDMI 2.0, and dual-band Wi-Fi connectivity. There are two HDMI 2.0 interfaces while the others (USB 3.0 and 2.0) are single. The expansive Redmi smart TV delivers an immersive viewing experience as well as high-quality audio. The TV is equipped with two 10W speakers and comes with a metal body design. It has built-in XiaoAI far-field voice control for seamless entertainment.

The Xiaomi Redmi X86 giant screen TV is equipped with a quad-core A55 processor with a memory/ storage configuration of 2GB/ 16GB.

The Redmi X86 is available on pre-sale in China at a launch price of 4,999 yuan (~$692). The original price of the Redmi X86 is 5,299 yuan (~$733) and it will revert to this price after the pre-sale period. There are no global availability details for the TV at this time. For customers in China, the TV is available on pre-order via JD.com and other leading retail outlets.
