<p>In January, several new smartphones are expected to enter the Chinese market, and the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi </a>Turbo 5 series is shaping up to be one of the most talked-about launches. A fresh leak has now offered clearer insight into the chipsets likely to power the Redmi Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro, setting the stage for what could be a major performance refresh.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi Turbo 5 series chipset details leak online</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="720" height="168" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-4.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-721823" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-4.png 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-4-300x70.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/01/image-4-696x162.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /><figcaption>Redmi Turbo 5 series chipset details leaked</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to a Weibo tipster, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-turbo-5">Redmi Turbo 5 </a>will be powered by the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-8500">MediaTek Dimensity 8500</a> processor, while the higher-end<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-turbo-5-pro"> Turbo 5 Pro</a> is expected to feature the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/dimensity-9500e"> Dimensity 9500e </a>chipset. Both processors are yet to be officially announced, but they are believed to debut in the next few days. To recall, the Redmi Turbo 4 and Turbo 4 Pro were powered by the Dimensity 8400 and Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipsets, respectively.</p>

<p>The Dimensity 8500 is tipped to be manufactured using TSMC’s 4nm process and could reach clock speeds of up to 3.4GHz. Meanwhile, the Dimensity 9500e is said to be built on a more advanced 3nm process, with a higher peak frequency of around 3.73GHz and an upgraded GPU.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Beyond performance upgrades, both phones are expected to feature 1.5K LTPS OLED displays and a premium metal frame design. Reports suggest that the two models may also arrive with ultrasonic fingerprint scanners, further positioning them above their predecessors in terms of build and security features.</p>

<p>Battery capacity appears to be a major focus for the Redmi Turbo 5 lineup. The Turbo 5 Pro is widely rumoured to house a 9,000mAh battery paired with 100W fast charging. The standard Turbo 5 could feature a slightly smaller 8,000mAh battery while retaining the same charging speed. Both models have reportedly cleared China’s 3C certification, pointing to an imminent launch.</p>

<p>Redmi is expected to introduce the Redmi Turbo 5 series in China either in January or early February, possibly alongside the Xiaomi 17 Ultra. Globally, these devices are likely to be rebranded under the Poco lineup, continuing Xiaomi’s established strategy for international markets.</p>

<p>After the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro recently <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/14/redmi-turbo-5-series-edges-closer-as-new-xiaomi-model-clears-certification/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">cleared radio certification</a>, the phone has now cleared 3C certification in China. </p>

<p>The device carrying the model number 2602BRT18C has been approved by the authority for 100W charging support. As usual, 3C certification only reveals the charging details of the device and not other features. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="205" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-Turbo-5-Pro-3C-certifications.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-721543" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-Turbo-5-Pro-3C-certifications.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-Turbo-5-Pro-3C-certifications-300x68.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-Turbo-5-Pro-3C-certifications-768x175.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/Redmi-Turbo-5-Pro-3C-certifications-696x159.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>Not to forget, the vanilla <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/05/redmi-turbo-5-3c-certified/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Turbo 5 made its 3C appearance</a> in early November with support for the same 100W charging. </p>

<p>Clearing these tests usually means the device is nearing launch. According to a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/14/xiaomi-17-ultra-redmi-turbo-5-wearables-launch-before-spring-festival-2026-report/#:~:text=Xiaomi%20lines%20up%207+%20product,Ultra%2C%20Redmi%20Turbo%205%20included" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">previous report</a>, Xiaomi might launch these smartphones before Spring Festival in China, which means before the third week of February. </p>

<h2><strong>Redmi Turbo 5 / Pro Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>Both devices are expected to feature a 1.5K LTPS flat display, an ultrasonic in-display fingerprint sensor, and a metal mid-frame. They are also tipped to offer IP68/69-level dust and water resistance, symmetrical dual speakers, and run on Android 16-based HyperOS 3.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Powering both phones is said to be a massive battery of around 9,000mAh capacity, paired with above mentioned 100W fast charging.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="500" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-5.png?x44794" alt="Redmi Turbo 5" class="wp-image-699524" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-5.png 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-5-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-5-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-5-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi Turbo 5 is also expected to feature an OLED LTPS panel with a 1.5K resolution and be powered by the upcoming MediaTek Dimensity 8500 chipset. Beyond its processor, the rest of the phone’s specifications are expected to closely mirror those of the Pro model.</p>

<p>The Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, on the other hand, is tipped to sit higher in the lineup with a MediaTek Dimensity 9-series processor. The device is said to feature a 1.5K LTPS display with large, rounded corners and a flat design.&nbsp;</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi</a>’s upcoming release cycle seems fairly packed. According to digital blogger <em>Digital Chat Station</em>, the company is prepping to launch everything from flagship smartphones to wearables and IoT devices ahead of the Spring Festival in China.</p>

<p>According to DCS, the upcoming lineup includes a Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5-powered imaging flagship, two midrange smartphones powered by MediaTek Dimensity chips, a new smartwatch, two pairs of earbuds, a midrange tablet, and several IoT devices.</p>

<h2><strong>Here’s what’s coming</strong></h2>

<p>Unsurprisingly, the Snapdragon-run flagship is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/12/11/xiaomi-17-ultra-sparks-excitement-as-blind-pre-orders-begin/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi 17 Ultra</a>. The phone is reportedly set to be announced as early as next week, with a full release planned for later this month.</p>

<p>The 17 Ultra will feature a 1-inch Leica main camera, which is likely a domestically produced OmniVision OV50X sensor. It joins a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto lens on the rear.</p>

<p>Xiaomi is also expanding its midrange portfolio with two new devices. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-turbo-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Turbo 5</a> is expected to be the first smartphone to use the Dimensity 8500 chip. Whereas the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-turbo-5-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Turbo 5 Pro </a>will move further up the stack with Dimensity 9500e. </p>

<p>Wearables aren’t being left out either. The new Xiaomi smartwatch has been revealed to run Android with Xiaomi’s HyperOS and feature a 930mAh battery. It also supports eSIM technology via an independent eUICC chip, making it fully capable of functioning without a smartphone.</p>

<p>Rounding out the lineup are two pairs of earbuds, a midrange tablet, and several IoT devices, though details on those remain sparse.</p>

<p>It’s still unclear whether all of these products will launch at the same time or across multiple events. Xiaomi is likely to plan a dedicated launch for the 17 Ultra, and if not all, we expect some of the other devices to debut on the same day.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/">Xiaomi</a> appears to be moving closer to launching the REDMI Turbo 5 series. A new Xiaomi phone, listed under the model number 2602BRT18C, has cleared radio certification in China, a step that usually points to an upcoming launch.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="824" height="494" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro.webp?x44794" alt="Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro" class="wp-image-683877" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro.webp 824w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-300x180.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-768x460.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-696x417.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/04/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-701x420.webp 701w" sizes="(max-width: 824px) 100vw, 824px" /></figure>

<p>According to Weibo tipster Smart Pikachu, the certified device belongs to the REDMI Turbo 5 lineup and is likely the REDMI Turbo 5 Pro. While Xiaomi has not confirmed the model yet, certification activity suggests launch preparations are already underway.</p>

<p>The REDMI Turbo 5 series is expected to include two models: the standard Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro. The <a href="https://www.google.com/url?sa=t&amp;rct=j&amp;q=&amp;esrc=s&amp;source=web&amp;cd=&amp;cad=rja&amp;uact=8&amp;ved=2ahUKEwjk6a-DxryRAxUBnmMGHUZfDYgQFnoECBsQAQ&amp;url=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.gizmochina.com%2F2025%2F10%2F12%2Fredmi-turbo-5-radio-certified%2F&amp;usg=AOvVaw1onCgeWWQb3akrBxCq7w4_&amp;opi=89978449">base model received its approval</a> back in October. The reported Turbo 5 series launch window falls around January or February, ahead of the Chinese Spring Festival. @DigitalChatStation has also said that the Turbo 5 Pro is expected to arrive before the holiday.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="604" height="900" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/alleged-redmi-turbo-5-pro-radio-certification.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-719145" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/alleged-redmi-turbo-5-pro-radio-certification.jpg 604w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/alleged-redmi-turbo-5-pro-radio-certification-201x300.jpg 201w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/12/alleged-redmi-turbo-5-pro-radio-certification-282x420.jpg 282w" sizes="(max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /><figcaption>Xiaomi 2602BRT18C radio certification</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>As per @DigitalChatStation, this generation of the Turbo series is being positioned more aggressively than before. The Turbo 5 Pro is said to feature a flagship-class chipset, along with custom performance tuning. The phone is also tipped to include the largest battery in its segment, paired with 100W fast charging.</p>

<p>Additional leaked details point to a metal frame. Other reported features include a 3D ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, full water resistance, and symmetrical stereo speakers. The overall design is said to lean toward a clean, minimal look.</p>

<p>For comparison, the previous REDMI Turbo 4 Pro was the first smartphone to launch with the Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 chipset. It featured a 6.83-inch 1.5K flat display, a 50MP + 8MP rear camera setup, and support for 90W wired charging with 22.5W reverse charging.</p>

<p>More details about the REDMI Turbo 5 series are expected to surface in the coming weeks.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi</a> is preparing the Redmi Turbo 5 series of smartphones, which may include two models: the Turbo 5 and Turbo 5 Pro. The company recently adopted the Redmi K90 Pro Max instead of the Redmi K90 Pro moniker for its newly unveiled K90 series, and there’s a possibility that the Pro variant in the Turbo 5 lineup may adopt the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Max name. While this is an assumption, a new leak, courtesy of tipster Digital Chat Station, has revealed the key specifications of this device.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi Turbo 5 Pro key specifications (rumored)</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="832" height="260" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-27.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-713958" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-27.png 832w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-27-300x94.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-27-768x240.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/11/image-27-696x218.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 832px) 100vw, 832px" /><figcaption>Redmi Turbo 5 Pro key specs by DCS</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>According to the tipster, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-turbo-5-pro">Redmi Turbo 5 Pro</a> is a mid-range performance-focused smartphone driven by a MediaTek Dimensity 9-series chip. This is a stark contrast to Redmi using the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 to power the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro.</p>

<p>The leak reveals that the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro will feature a 1.5K LTPS flat display integrated with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. The screen will have large, rounded corners, complemented by a metal mid-frame. For durability, it will offer full-level water resistance. Like the previous generation, it will continue to sport a minimalist design.</p>

<p>The Turbo 5 Pro is said to be equipped with symmetrical dual speakers. It will draw power from a huge battery of around 9,000mAh capacity and offer <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/24/redmi-turbo-5-pro-100w-fast-charging/">100W charging</a>. The rest of its details are under wraps.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-turbo-5">Redmi Turbo 5</a>, which has already bagged the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/11/05/redmi-turbo-5-3c-certified/">3C certification in China</a>, is expected to launch before the end of this year. However, there is no information about the launch timeframe of the Turbo 5 Pro. It remains to be seen whether the Turbo 5 Pro will debut in its usual expected launch timeframe of Q2 2026 or earlier than its previous generation.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/xiaomi/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi </a>could be planning on upgrading the fast charging speeds of its upcoming smartphones. It has just registered a new power brick with impressive fast charging speeds. So, we might be getting an upgrade on the charging speeds of upcoming devices like the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro.</p>

<h2>Redmi Turbo 5 Pro Charging Speed Upgrade?</h2>

<p>Just recently, China&#8217;s 3C certification platform listed new power bricks from Chinese tech giants like Xiaomi, Oppo, and Vivo (Via <em><a href="https://www.notebookcheck.net/Redmi-Turbo-5-Pro-could-launch-with-faster-charging-for-bigger-battery.1065734.0.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">NotebookCheck</a></em>). The three brands registered the charger with 100W output, with Xiaomi&#8217;s model featuring a 20 volt(V)/5 amp (A) system. These faster charging bricks are likely arriving with the next generation of phones that are expected to pack massive battery packs.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--1024x1024.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi Turbo 4 Pro Pink Gold" class="wp-image-696309" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--1024x1024.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--768x768.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--696x696.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--1068x1068.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold--420x420.jpg 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/Redmi-Turbo-4-Pro-Pink-Gold-.jpg 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi Turbo 4 Pro in Pink Gold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>To recall, the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/23/redmi-turbo-5-key-specifications-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Turbo 5 just had its key specs leaked</a>, which revealed a new Dimensity 8500 and a humongous 7,000mAh+ battery pack. On the other hand, rumors have hinted at the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro taking it a step further with a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/23/redmi-turbo-5-key-specifications-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">mind-boggling 8,000mAh+ cell</a>. So to keep up with the increase in battery capacity, the Turbo 5 Pro could get this new 100W charger, which marks a slight bump from 90W charging support on the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/23/redmi-turbo-5-key-specifications-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi Turbo 4 Pro</a>.</p>

<p>The new Redmi Turbo 5 series might also make their global debut with POCO&#8217;s branding like last time. Although, details are still scarce at this moment. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report, so take this news with a pinch of salt and stick around for more. In related news, Xiaomi has just shared a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/24/xiaomi-teases-redmi-15-5g-for-india/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">teaser for the Redmi 15 5G</a> that is set to launch in the Indian market soon.</p>

<p>A couple of days ago, we <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/07/14/redmi-turbo-5-first-details-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">covered a leak</a> that revealed a few specs and features of the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5. Now, another report might have revealed the chipset that will power this mid-range device. This model could also debut in the global market as the POCO X8 Pro, so here&#8217;s everything you need to know.</p>

<h2>This new Dimensity chip could power the Redmi Turbo 5/POCO X8 Pro</h2>

<p>In our previous report, known tipster Digital Chat Station claimed that the Redmi Turbo 5 may sport a 6.6-inch display with a 1.5K resolution. The screen will reportedly have curved corners with a metal middle frame surrounding this panel. But in a latest leak from <a href="https://x.com/heyitsyogesh/status/1946115078161567875" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Yogesh Brar</a>, the Redmi Turbo 5 might pack a new MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Ultra SoC. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="592" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/redmi-turbo-4-01.jpg?x44794" alt="Xiaomi Redmi Turbo 4" class="wp-image-669699" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/redmi-turbo-4-01.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/redmi-turbo-4-01-300x197.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/redmi-turbo-4-01-768x505.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/redmi-turbo-4-01-696x458.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/redmi-turbo-4-01-639x420.jpg 639w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/redmi-turbo-4-01-741x486.jpg 741w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /><figcaption>Redmi Turbo 4</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>This makes sense considering the Redmi Turbo 4 and POCO X7 Pro pack the Dimensity 8400 Ultra chipset. To recall, Redmi Turbo 5 will likely debut in the global market as the POCO X8 Pro. So this leak may have just revealed the processor powering the POCO X8 Pro. In his tweet, Brar also adds that the brand is also planning a big shift away from Qualcomm&#8217;s Snapdragon, but this isn&#8217;t related to these upcoming devices. </p>

<p>It is unclear what this shift refers to, as Xiaomi and Qualcomm have a long-standing relationship for chips powering many of the brand&#8217;s smartphones. Keep in mind that this is still just an unconfirmed report at the moment, so stick around for more.</p>

<p>Last week, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/poco">Poco</a> unveiled the much-awaited Poco F7, packed with a massive 7,550mAh battery. Now, a new leak from well-known tipster Digital Chat Station suggests that the upcoming Poco F8 may feature an even larger 8,000mAh battery.</p>

<h3><strong>Redmi Turbo 5 Pro / Poco F8 battery size rumor</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4-1024x193.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-695032" width="1024" height="193" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4-1024x193.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4-300x56.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4-768x144.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4-1536x289.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4-696x131.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4-1068x201.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/07/image-4.png 1643w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi 8000mAh+ battery phone is in the works</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>That said, it’s worth noting that the Poco brand has not been active in the Chinese market recently, and DCS has not directly mentioned the Poco F8 in his post. Instead, the leak refers to an upcoming high-performance <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/redmi">Redmi</a> phone, expected to launch in 2026, which will sport a flat display of around 6.8 inches and a battery that exceeds 8,000mAh capacity.</p>

<p>The tipster could be referring to any one of the successors to the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/xiaomi-redmi-turbo-4/">Redmi Turbo 4</a>, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-turbo-4-pro/">Turbo 4 Pro</a>, or the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k80-ultra/">Redmi K80 Ultra</a>. To recap, these models came with 6,550mAh, 7,550mAh, and 7,410mAh batteries, respectively. Based on this trend, the new leak implies that the Redmi Turbo 5 Pro, the K90 Ultra, or both could surpass the 8,000mAh mark.</p>

<p>Considering that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/poco-f7/">Poco F7</a> (Indian variant) is a rebranded version of the Redmi Turbo 4 Pro, it’s highly likely that the Poco F8 could be based on the upcoming Redmi Turbo 5 Pro. If that turns out to be the case, the F8 might also offer an 8,000mAh battery and a 6.8x-inch flat display, aligning with DCS’s leak.</p>

<p>As of now, it’s too early to speculate on 2026 launches. For 2025, DCS has hinted in another Weibo post that the Redmi Note 15 series may arrive around the middle of second half of the year, suggesting a September launch in China. The Xiaomi 16 series and the Redmi K90 lineup are also expected to launch soon after. Multiple reports suggest that the Xiaomi 16 series could debut by the end of September in China.</p>
