<h2>OPPO Reno 13 series European pricing</h2>

<p>Per leakster Sudhanshu Ambhore (via MySmartPrice), European pricing starts at €549 for the base Reno 13 5G (12GB+256GB). The Pro model jumps to €799 for 12GB+512GB, while the budget Reno 13 F 5G sits at €379 for 8GB+256GB. The Reno 13 Pro FS 5G, priced at €449, offers 12GB+512GB. Additional RAM/storage variants may follow.</p>

<p>The Reno 13 and Pro models boast aerospace-grade aluminum frames—a first for the segment—and MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350 chipset. Both feature triple IP66/68/69 ratings for dust/water resistance, 50MP triple rear cameras, a 50MP front shooter, and 5,800mAh batteries with 80W fast charging. A 120Hz Smart Adaptive AMOLED display and ColorOS 15 (Android 15-based) round out the package.</p>

<p>The Reno 13 F 5G is reportedly for a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, retaining the 50MP main camera and 5,800mAh battery but downgrading to 45W charging. Details on the Pro FS remain scarce, though its specs suggest a balance between the F and Pro tiers.</p>

<p>OPPO has yet to confirm global release dates, leaving markets awaiting official announcements.</p>

<p>In other news, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oppo-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo</a> has officially announced that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/02/05/oppo-find-n5-officially-confirmed-to-launch-in-two-weeks/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Find N5 will debut within the next two weeks</a>, with a possible launch on Feb. 19–21. The foldable phone is set to be the thinnest yet, measuring under 9.2mm folded and 4.6mm open. It will be the first foldable powered by the 7-core Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset, featuring an 8-inch 2K inner display with minimal crease and a flat outer screen.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oppo-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oneplus-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus</a> have recently unveiled their sub-premium smartphones in India. Oppo&#8217;s offering is the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reno 13 Pro,</a> while OnePlus counters with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oneplus-13r/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">13R</a> as a direct competitor. Both companies present compelling devices, but each caters to slightly different user preferences. Here’s a detailed comparison to help you decide which smartphone suits your needs.</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Design and Build Quality</strong></h3>

<p>While the phones have different visual designs, they use nearly identical materials on the front and back. The Reno 13 Pro is a slim and lightweight machine, measuring only 7.6 mm thick and weighing 195 grams.</p>

<p>It has a Gorilla Glass 7i shield on the front which connects with aluminum frames on the sides. The phone also has an IP68/IP69 rating for protection against water and dust.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="999" height="616" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-44.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 Pro" class="wp-image-663675" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-44.png 999w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-44-300x185.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-44-768x474.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-44-696x429.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-44-681x420.png 681w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-44-356x220.png 356w" sizes="(max-width: 999px) 100vw, 999px" /><figcaption>Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure>

<p>The OnePlus 13R, on the other hand, weighs slightly more (206 grams) and features a similar Gorilla Glass 7i and aluminum frame design. However, it settles for an IP65 rating.</p>

<p>While that’s a step down in water resistance compared to the Reno 13 Pro, it should be more than capable of withstanding everyday splashes and dust exposure. However, Oppo&#8217;s lighter build and superior water resistance give it a slight edge in terms of design.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Display</strong></h3>

<p>The Reno 13 Pro features a 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a peak brightness of 1200 nits and a standard refresh rate of 120Hz. The display has a good screen-to-body ratio of 90.9% and an FHD+ resolution of 450 ppi.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/01/OnePlus-13R-1024x610.jpg?x44794" alt="" /><figcaption>OnePlus 13R</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The OnePlus 13R features a 6.78-inch AMOLED display with 120Hz LTPO refresh rate. This means that the screen can refresh at a rate ranging from 1Hz to 120Hz depending on the content. OnePlus also has a higher peak brightness of 4500 nits and supports Ultra HDR.&nbsp;</p>

<h3><strong>Performance</strong></h3>

<p>Performance is where the differences start to widen. The Reno 13 Pro is powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350, a capable chipset built on a 4nm process. While its octa-core CPU and Mali G615 GPU are efficient for multitasking and casual gaming, it lacks the raw power seen in flagship devices.</p>

<p>The OnePlus 13R takes a leap ahead with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, Qualcomm’s last year&#8217;s high-performance chipset. It offers faster processing speeds, thanks to its advanced Cortex-X4 cores, and the Adreno 750 GPU on the SoC offers a much better gaming experience.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Moreover, OnePlus has committed to four major Android updates, compared to Oppo’s promise of three years of updates, giving the 13R a clear advantage in software longevity.</p>

<h3><strong>Cameras</strong></h3>

<p>Both devices feature impressive camera setups. The Oppo Reno 13 Pro houses a 50 MP wide-angle camera with OIS, a 50 MP telephoto lens that offers 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide camera.&nbsp;</p>

<p>The OnePlus 13R also includes a 50 MP primary camera with OIS, a 50 MP telephoto lens but with 2x optical zoom, and an 8 MP ultrawide camera. While its zoom range is limited compared to Reno 13 Pro, it should serve you well to capture distant objects.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Selfies on the Oppo Reno 13 Pro are handled by a 50 MP front camera with autofocus and 4K video support. The OnePlus 13R has a 16 MP front-facing camera that lacks autofocus and tops out at 1080p video, making it less competitive in this area.</p>

<h3><strong>Battery and Charging</strong></h3>

<p>As for the battery, Oppo ships the phone with a 5800mAh battery and 80W wired and 50W wireless charging supports. It also supports reverse wired charging, adding a layer of convenience for users who own multiple devices.</p>

<p>The OnePlus 13R offers a slightly larger 6000mAh Si/C battery that supports 80W wired charging capable of reaching 50% in 20 minutes. However, it lacks wireless charging, which may be a dealbreaker for some.&nbsp;</p>

<p>If wireless charging matters to you, the Reno 13 Pro is a clear choice, while the OnePlus 13R holds an advantage in pure capacity.</p>

<h3><strong>Storage and Connectivity</strong></h3>

<p>The Reno 13 Pro offers up to 1TB of storage paired with 16GB of RAM. The OnePlus 13R maxes out at 512GB with 16GB of RAM, which is still competitive but less expansive.&nbsp;</p>

<p>However, the real difference here is in the memory and storage technologies. The OnePlus 13R features LPDDR5x RAM and UFS 4.0 storage across all variants, In contrast, while the Reno 13 Pro also uses LPDDR5x RAM, it is paired with the older UFS 3.1 standard.</p>

<p>For connectivity, both phones feature Wi-Fi 6e, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, and USB Type-C. The OnePlus 13R adds future-proofing with Wi-Fi 7 support (market-specific) and a superior GPS configuration.</p>

<h3><strong>Price and Value</strong></h3>

<p>The Reno 13 Pro starts at Rs 49,999 in India while the 13R is more affordable at Rs 42,999. Both phones come in a variety of colors, with Oppo leaning towards a softer aesthetic (Graphite Grey, Plume Purple, Pink) and OnePlus offering a bolder palette (Astral Trail, Nebula Noir).</p>

<hr class="wp-block-separator" />

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<p>Choosing between the Oppo Reno 13 Pro and the OnePlus 13R ultimately depends on your priorities:</p>

<ul><li><strong>Pick the Oppo Reno 13 Pro</strong> if:<ul><li>You value a lighter, slimmer design.</li><li>Telephoto zoom and selfie quality are crucial.</li><li>Wireless charging is a must.</li></ul></li><li><strong>Opt for the OnePlus 13R</strong> if:<ul><li>You want reliable performance and gaming capabilities.</li><li>Future-proof connectivity is a priority.</li><li>Longer software support is important.</li><li>Price</li></ul></li></ul>

<p>Both phones offer tremendous value, but the <strong>OnePlus 13R</strong> edges out as the better all-rounder for most users, while the Reno 13 Pro caters more to niche preferences like cameras and wireless charging.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Reno 13</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reno 13 Pro</a> are two impressive smartphones that cater to different user preferences. Both models feature sleek designs, powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350 chipsets, and advanced cameras, but the Pro model offers enhanced display quality, battery features, and photography capabilities. With a price difference of €90, choosing between the two depends on your budget and priorities. This comparison highlights the key differences to help you decide which model best suits your needs. Whether you value premium features or balanced affordability, there’s an option for everyone.</p>

<h3><strong>Design and Display</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="661" height="714" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-66.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-664152" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-66.png 661w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-66-278x300.png 278w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-66-389x420.png 389w" sizes="(max-width: 661px) 100vw, 661px" /><figcaption>OPPO Reno 13</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro both feature a sleek design with a glass front and back and aluminum alloy frames. They offer IP68/IP69 dust and water resistance, ensuring durability in challenging conditions. The Reno 13 Pro edges ahead with a slightly larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display compared to the Reno 13’s 6.59-inch screen. The Pro also boasts a higher screen-to-body ratio and HDR10+ support, enhancing the viewing experience with better contrast and color accuracy.</p>

<p>While both phones deliver 120Hz refresh rates and 1200 nits peak brightness, the Pro model’s HDR10+ and slightly larger display make it a superior choice for media consumption. However, for those who prefer a more compact design, the Reno 13 offers an equally vibrant experience with a slightly smaller screen.</p>

<p>Reno 13 Pro stands out for its immersive display, which is ideal for users who prioritize video streaming or gaming. However, the Reno 13 remains a strong contender for users seeking a balance between size and performance.</p>

<h3><strong>Specifications&nbsp;</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="787" height="503" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-67.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-664153" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-67.png 787w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-67-300x192.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-67-768x491.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-67-696x445.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-67-657x420.png 657w" sizes="(max-width: 787px) 100vw, 787px" /><figcaption>OPPO Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Both models run on the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 (4nm) chipset with Android 15 and ColorOS 15, ensuring smooth performance. They share storage options, starting at 256GB with up to 1TB configurations, all using UFS 3.1 for fast data access.</p>

<p>The Reno 13 Pro boasts a larger 5800 mAh battery compared to the Reno 13’s 5600 mAh. The Pro also supports 50W wireless charging in addition to 80W wired charging, which the Reno 13 lacks. Both models feature reverse wired charging and versatile fast-charging options.</p>

<p>Reno 13 Pro’s enhanced battery life and wireless charging support make it a better choice for users who need versatility and extended usage, though the Reno 13 still provides a robust experience with slightly less convenience.</p>

<h3><strong>Camera</strong></h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="572" height="544" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-68.png?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-664154" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-68.png 572w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-68-300x285.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/12/image-68-442x420.png 442w" sizes="(max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px" /><figcaption>OPPO Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Reno 13 offers a dual-camera setup with a 50MP primary sensor and 8MP ultrawide lens, while the Reno 13 Pro ups the ante with a triple-camera system. It includes a 50MP primary sensor with superior light-gathering capabilities, a 50MP telephoto lens with 3.5x optical zoom, and an 8MP ultrawide lens. Both models feature 50MP selfie cameras with autofocus and support for 4K video recording.</p>

<p>The Pro’s telephoto lens provides exceptional zoom capabilities, making it ideal for capturing distant subjects, while the Reno 13’s simpler setup excels in casual photography.</p>

<p>Reno 13 Pro’s upgraded camera system offers more versatility for photography enthusiasts, while the Reno 13 is better suited for everyday users who prioritize ease of use.</p>

<h3><strong>Pricing</strong></h3>

<p>The Reno 13 is priced at approximately €350, while the Reno 13 Pro costs about €440. The €90 price difference reflects the Pro model’s enhanced display, camera, and battery features. For budget-conscious buyers, the Reno 13 offers excellent value, but those willing to spend more gain significant upgrades.</p>

<p>Reno 13 Pro justifies its higher price with its premium features, making it the better choice for users seeking a flagship experience. The Reno 13, however, offers a balanced option without breaking the bank.</p>

<div class="wp-block-button"><a class="wp-block-button__link" href="https://www.giztop.com/oppo-reno-13-pro.html" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Buy &#8211; Oppo Reno 13 Pro</a></div>

</div>

<hr class="wp-block-separator"/>

<h3><strong>Conclusion</strong></h3>

<p>The Reno 13 Pro stands out for its wireless charging, HDR10+ display, and telephoto camera, which add significant value. The Reno 13, though lacking these premium features, impresses with its compact design and robust performance at a lower price.</p>

<p>While the Pro model is undeniably superior in features, the Reno 13 holds its own as a well-rounded device for users who don’t require cutting-edge specifications.</p>

<p>The Vivo S20 series was just announced in China with a price tag that rivals the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/25/oppo-reno-13-and-13-pro-launched-china-specs-price/2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Reno 13 series</a>. So now, here&#8217;s a comparison between the higher end <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-s20-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo S20 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Reno 13 Pro</a>. So here&#8217;s everything we need to know. </p>

<h3>Vivo S20 Pro or Oppo Reno 13 Pro: Design &amp; Display</h3>

<p>Oppo recently released the Reno 13 Pro with an attractive new design. The device measures a slim 7.6mm and is built using a glass back and aluminum alloy frame. This adds to its premium feel, while the front sports a tall 6.83-inch AMOLED display. This screen offers a 120Hz refresh rate, 1.5K resolution, and 1200 nits of peak brightness.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2-1024x640.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo S20 Pro" class="wp-image-662255" width="882" height="551" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2-1068x668.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2-672x420.jpg 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-2.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 882px) 100vw, 882px" /><figcaption>Vivo S20 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the other hand, the Vivo S20 Pro features a plastic middle frame but has a marginally slimmer 7.43mm body. So the Reno 13 Pro clearly has an edge in terms of design, but the display is based on preference. 6.83 inches is quite tall and some might prefer the Vivo S20 Pro&#8217;s smaller 6.67-inch screen. This is a Q10 OLED panel from BOE that offers 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an impressive peak brightness of 5,000 nits. </p>

<h3>Performance</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-1024x640.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 Pro" class="wp-image-661633" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-1068x668.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-672x420.jpg 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Oppo Reno 13 Pro is equipped with MediaTek&#8217;s new Dimensity 8350 SoC. This is a mid range processor that is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. On the other hand, the Vivo S20 Pro is a budget flagship phone that features MediaTek&#8217;s flagship grade Dimensity 9300+ SoC. So the latter clearly offers better performance overall.</p>

<h3>Battery &amp; Fast Charging</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="573" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo S20 Pro" class="wp-image-662188" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-1-300x168.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-1-768x430.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-1-696x389.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Vivo-S20-Pro-1-751x420.jpg 751w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>This model is powered by a sizeable 5,500mAh battery pack, which supports 90W wired fast charging. Meanwhile, the Reno 13 Pro has a slightly larger 5,800mAh cell that supports 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. Wireless charging is an important feature to some users, so this could also be an important factor to consider when choosing between the two models.</p>

<h3>Verdict</h3>

<p>Both the Vivo S20 Pro and Oppo Reno 13 Pro have a starting price tag of 3,399 Yuan or about 469 US Dollars for the 12GB + 256GB models. For this price, the Reno model offers wireless fast charging, a more premium design, higher IP69 rating for water and dust resistance, and a slightly larger battery pack. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="546" height="550" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 Pro" class="wp-image-661457" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1.jpg 546w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-298x300.jpg 298w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-417x420.jpg 417w" sizes="(max-width: 546px) 100vw, 546px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the other hand, Vivo&#8217;s budget friendly flagship packs a more powerful chipset, three 50MP cameras, thinner body, and a screen that&#8217;s not too tall. So if performance isn&#8217;t too important to you, the Reno 13 Pro may seem like a better package overall. However, for mobile gaming enthusiasts or those who don&#8217;t prefer a large device, the Vivo S20 Pro may seem like the better value.</p>

While these phones are currently exclusive to the Chinese market, it appears that global availability could be just around the corner. </p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="690" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-launch-date-.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 Series" class="wp-image-660567" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-launch-date-.jpg 690w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-launch-date--300x250.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-launch-date--503x420.jpg 503w" sizes="(max-width: 690px) 100vw, 690px" /></figure>

<p>The Oppo Reno 13 Pro has been spotted on multiple certification platforms outside China, including India’s BIS and UAE’s TDRA (with model number CPH2697), suggesting an imminent global launch. With certification listings in India and the UAE, it’s likely that the Reno 13 Pro will hit global markets, including India, in the coming months.</p>

<p>The same model number was earlier disclosed by Singapore’s IMDA certification body, indicating that Oppo is preparing to expand the reach of its new Reno series beyond China. Interestingly, the Reno 13 series has also been spotted on Indonesia’s SDPPI website, further signaling that these devices are being prepped for a global rollout.</p>

<p>According to sources, the Oppo Reno 13 series, including the Reno 13 Pro, could land in India as early as January 2025.</p>

<h2>What to expect from the Reno 13 Pro global version?</h2>

<p>The Reno 13 Pro promises to be a major upgrade over its predecessor, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-12-pro/">Reno 12 Pro</a>. Here’s what you can expect from the upcoming global release:</p>

<p>A larger 6.83-inch AMOLED display with a 1272 x 2800 resolution, offering a 120Hz refresh rate and 1200 nits of peak brightness. This is a bigger screen compared to the 6.7-inch panel on the Reno 12 Pro.</p>

<p>The phone is the first to ship with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/28/mediatek-dimensity-8350-vs-dimensity-8300-comparison/">MediaTek Dimensity 8350</a> SoC, which might be a step down from the Dimensity 9200+ found in the Reno 12 Pro but still promises solid performance.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-1024x640.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 Pro" class="wp-image-661633" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-1068x668.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1-672x420.jpg 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>As for the cameras, the phone is expected to feature a powerful 50MP+50MP+8MP triple-camera setup with 3.5x optical zoom and ultrawide capabilities. For selfies, you’ll get a 50MP front camera, making it one of the most powerful selfie shooters in its category.</p>

<p>On the inside, there&#8217;s a 5,800mAh battery (up from 5000mAh of the Reno 12 Pro) that supports 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. It means reasonably lower downtime paired with longer battery life, which is one of the key aspects of a good user experience.</p>

<p>Design-wise, the phone features a sleek look with flat sides and rounded edges. It’s expected to come in Black, Purple, and Pink colors, and could also sport an IP66+68+69 rating, making it water-resistant.</p>

<p>In China, the Reno 13 series starts at 2699 yuan (₹31,429), with the Reno 13 Pro priced at 3399 yuan (₹39,581). While pricing for the Indian market is not confirmed, tipster Sudhanshu Ambhore suggests the Reno 13’s Indian variant will be priced similarly to the Reno 12, starting at around ₹32,999 for the 8GB + 256GB variant.</p>

<p>Both Xiaomi and Oppo just launched smartphones around the $500 price mark. But while the former has released the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/redmi-k80-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Redmi K80 Pro</a> with a more expensive price tag, it still seems like a better deal than the latter&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Reno 13 Pro</a>. So here&#8217;s 5 reasons why we believe that the affordable flagship from Redmi is a better deal.</p>

<h3>Redmi K80 Pro vs Oppo Reno 13 Pro: Higher Res Display</h3>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/27/redmi-k80-pro-launched-with-snapdragon-8-elite-specs-price/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Xiaomi just unveiled the Redmi K80 Pro</a>, which is a relatively affordable flagship smartphone from its popular sub-brand. It packs some impressive specs that make it stand out. One of these features is undoubtedly its display. The Redmi K80 Pro sports a 6.67-inch OLED display. While it might not be as large as the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/25/oppo-reno-13-and-13-pro-launched-china-specs-price/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reno 13 Pro</a> with its 6.83-inch AMOLED panel, the K80 Pro&#8217;s panel has its advantages. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="546" height="550" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 Pro" class="wp-image-661457" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1.jpg 546w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-298x300.jpg 298w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-1-417x420.jpg 417w" sizes="(max-width: 546px) 100vw, 546px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Redmi K80 Pro has a higher 2K+ resolution (3200 x 1440p), compared to the 1.5K panel (2800 x 1272p) on the Reno 13 Pro. That&#8217;s not all, it also sports an LTPS panel with Xiaomi Dragon Crystal Glass 2.0 for protection. So it is also more durable than the Reno 13 Pro since it isn&#8217;t listed with any kind of protective glass. </p>

<h3>Battery &amp; Fast Charging</h3>

<p>Chinese brands are ahead of the curve in both battery sizes and fast charging rates. So Oppo is no slouch, offering a large 5,800mAh battery pack on the Reno 13 Pro. This cell supports a respectable 80W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. This also helps the device achieve its relatively slim and lightweight 7.6mm thickness and 197g weight.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-1024x640.jpg?x44794" alt="Redmi K80 Pro" class="wp-image-662116" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-1024x640.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-300x188.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-768x480.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-696x435.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-1068x668.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-672x420.jpg 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Redmi K80 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Xiaomi&#8217;s Redmi K80 Pro is powered by a massive 6,000mAh battery pack, which supports 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless fast charging. The trade-off is the thicker 8.4mm body and heavier 212g heft.</p>

<h3>Snapdragon 8 Elite Simply Outperforms</h3>

<p>The Snapdragon 8 Elite from Qualcomm is one of the fastest chipsets that powers Android flagships, only rivalled by the MediaTek Dimensity 9400. However, the Reno 13 Pro houses a mid-range 4nm based Dimensity 8350 chipset. This is a capable chip, but it doesn&#8217;t promise cutting edge performance. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="512" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues-1024x512.jpg?x44794" alt="Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues" class="wp-image-654658" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues-1024x512.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues-300x150.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues-768x384.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues-696x348.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues-1068x534.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues-840x420.jpg 840w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/10/Snapdragon-8-Elite-thermal-issues.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Snapdragon 8 Elite</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Simply put, the 3nm Snapdragon 8 Elite is more powerful and arguably more power efficient as well. For its price, the Redmi K80 is a contender for the most affordable Snapdragon 8 Elite powered smartphone in the market. It matches the pricing of the Realme GT 7 Pro, which was previously the most affordable phone with this high end chip. </p>

<h3>What else is better?</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1024x768.webp?x44794" alt="Redmi-K80-Pro" class="wp-image-662048" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1024x768.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-300x225.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-768x576.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-696x522.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1068x801.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-560x420.webp 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-80x60.webp 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-265x198.webp 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro.webp 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Both the Reno 13 Pro and K80 Pro have a 50MP main and 50MP telephoto shooter. Although, the Redmi flagship model has a 32MP ultra wide angle lens over an 8MP one on the Oppo mid ranger. Similarly, there is an in-display fingerprint scanner on the duo as well, but the K80 Pro has an ultrasonic sensor over the optical one on the Reno 13 Pro. This helps unlock your phone faster and more accurately. </p>

<h3>Pricing</h3>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-1024x768.webp?x44794" alt="Redmi-K80-Pro" class="wp-image-662049" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-1024x768.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-300x225.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-768x576.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-696x522.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-1068x801.webp 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-560x420.webp 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-80x60.webp 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1-265x198.webp 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Redmi-K80-Pro-1.webp 1440w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Oppo&#8217;s new Reno 13 Pro starts from just 3,399 yuan (roughly $469) for the 12GB + 256GB version. This makes it a sub-$500 mid range smartphone. But for just $50 more, you are getting a much better package. Xiaomi&#8217;s Redmi K80 Pro starts from 3,699 yuan ($511) for the same 12GB + 256GB storage configuration. Like I mentioned before, this matches the Realme GT 7 Pro to share the &#8220;cheapest Snapdragon 8 Elite powered phone&#8221; feat.</p>

<p>Oppo claims this translates to 1.5 times faster performance compared to previous models. The company also assures that the device can handle 8 hours of gameplay without overheating.</p>

<p>The Reno 13 series will run on ColorOS 15, Oppo&#8217;s custom Android 15-based skin. The front will be home to a 1.5K high-brightness, eye-protection display. Oppo also promises a larger-capacity battery designed to maintain reliable performance for up to five years.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="321" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-display.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-661344" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-display.jpg 321w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-display-161x300.jpg 161w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-display-225x420.jpg 225w" sizes="(max-width: 321px) 100vw, 321px" /></figure></div>

<p>While the brand hasn’t revealed exact battery details, leaks suggest the Reno 13 may pack a 5600mAh battery, while the Reno 13 Pro could include a 5900mAh cell.</p>

<p>Oppo has also confirmed that the Reno 13 and 13 Pro will be available in versions, such as 12GB+256GB, 12GB+512GB, 16GB+512GB, and 16GB+1TB. The standard model will also come in a 16GB+256GB edition. </p>

<p>The Reno 13 duo will be sold in Midnight Black and Butterfly Purple colors. The standard and Pro will also come in distinguishing shades, such as Galaxy Blue and Starlight Pink, respectively.</p>

<p>The official unveiling of the Oppo Reno 13 series is set for November 25th, 2024, in China. This launch will be followed by the Redmi K80 series and iQOO Neo 10 series launches scheduled for November 27th and 29th, respectively. </p>

<p><a href="https://www,gizmochina.com/category/oppo">Oppo</a> is gearing up to launch the Reno 13 series on November 25 at 19:00, unveiling a lineup that promises to redefine connectivity and gaming performance. Weibo tipster Digital Chat Station recently talked about the company&#8217;s <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/11/after-supervooc-s-and-display-p2-chip-oppo-working-on-its-self-developed-networking-chip/">development of a custom networking chip</a>, and now the company confirms its use in the upcoming Reno 13 series. </p>

<p>In fact, a highlight of the series is the self-developed X1 networking chip, which is designed to ensure smooth performance even in low-signal environments.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="550" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Reno-13-Networking-chip-X1-550x1024.webp?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-661103" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Reno-13-Networking-chip-X1-550x1024.webp 550w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Reno-13-Networking-chip-X1-161x300.webp 161w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Reno-13-Networking-chip-X1-226x420.webp 226w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Reno-13-Networking-chip-X1.webp 690w" sizes="(max-width: 550px) 100vw, 550px" /></figure></div>

<p>Alongside this innovative feature, the Reno 13 series also boasts a range of aesthetic and functional enhancements, catering to both casual users and gamers.</p>

<h2>Custom X1 chip for uninterrupted gameplay</h2>

<p>The Oppo Reno 13 series introduces the X1 chip, marking a significant leap in network management. According to Oppo, this chip allows the device to &#8220;grab&#8221; network signals, enabling smooth gameplay even with just one bar of signal strength. </p>

<p>Additionally, the series includes a dedicated game cloud computing network, which Oppo claims ensures ultra-low latency and prioritized speed for an optimal gaming experience. This focus on connectivity is a response to growing consumer demand for reliable performance in mobile gaming and cloud-based applications.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/">Reno 13 Pro</a> is rumored to be powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8350 processor paired with 16GB of RAM, though an earlier <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/20/oppo-reno-13-geekbench-listing-spotted-reveals-same-chip-as-reno-13-pro/">Geekbench listing</a> suggest it could also feature the Dimensity 8300. Either way, users can expect high-performance capabilities tailored for gaming and multitasking as both chips boast a sizable improvement in performance than the Dimensity 7300 Energy chipset of the Reno 12 series.</p>

<p>On the front, the device is equipped with a 6.83-inch OLED panel, a 50MP front camera, and a triple rear camera setup (50MP main + 8MP + 50MP telephoto). Alongside Android 15 out of the box, the Reno 13 Pro is also rumored to support advanced features like eSIM, 1TB storage, IP68/69 protection, and wireless charging.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, its 5,900mAh battery offers fast charging up to 100W, ensuring longevity and quick top-ups. These features, combined with an elegant design and cutting-edge connectivity solutions, position the Reno 13 series as a compelling choice in the premium mid-range segment.</p>

<p>Oppo has <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/14/oppo-opens-pre-orders-for-reno-13-series-pad-3-tablet/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">opened pre-orders for the Reno 13 series</a> in China. <p>Although Oppo has started teasing the release, it has kept the phone designs under wraps. So far, only a few comparisons between the Reno 13 series and iPhones have surfaced, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/13/oppo-reno-13s-first-image-leaked-reveals-iphone-like-design/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">revealing parts of the design</a>. </p>

<p>But an X user has now posted real-life images of both the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro smartphones.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="470" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-and-Reno-13-Pro-real-life-image.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-660326" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-and-Reno-13-Pro-real-life-image.jpg 470w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-and-Reno-13-Pro-real-life-image-235x300.jpg 235w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-and-Reno-13-Pro-real-life-image-329x420.jpg 329w" sizes="(max-width: 470px) 100vw, 470px" /></figure></div>

<p>The two devices feature similar camera islands with cold-craved glass that clearly draws inspiration from the iPhone&#8217;s design. Additionally, both phones have chamfered edges. Posts on Weibo also reveal the front design of the phones, revealing slim bezels all around.&nbsp;</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-front-design.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-660327" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-front-design.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-front-design-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-front-design-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-front-design-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-front-design-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<h2><strong>Oppo Reno 13 Series Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>The standard Reno 13 is expected to feature a 6.59-inch 1.5K display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It will likely be powered by a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/mediatek/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MediaTek</a> Dimensity chipset, though the exact model is still unclear.</p>

<p>The front will house a 50-megapixel selfie camera, while the rear will feature a triple-lens setup, led by a 50-megapixel primary sensor. And the device is expected to be powered by a large 5,600mAh battery.</p>

<p>Details on the Pro variant are less clear, but rumors suggest a similar flat design with a metal frame. The display is expected to be a larger 6.83-inch micro-quad-curved panel, offering the same 1.5K resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Under the hood, the Reno 13 Pro is rumored to feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/06/oppo-reno-13-pro-tipped-to-launch-with-dimensity-8350-big-6-83-inch-display/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8350</a> SoC. The battery is also likely to be slightly larger at 5,900mAh, also supporting wired and wireless charging. </p>

<p>The Pro variant’s camera system is rumored to include a 50-megapixel main sensor with OIS (Optical Image Stabilization), a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/22/oppo-reno-13-pro-key-specs-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">50-megapixel periscope telephoto</a> lens for zoomed shots, and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide sensor. </p>

<p>Oppo is gearing up to launch new mid range smartphones from its highly anticipated Reno lineup soon. The models in question are the Reno 13 and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reno 13 Pro</a>. These devices have recently been spotted in various rumors and reports, so here&#8217;s everything you can expect from the Reno 13 lineup.</p>

<h3>Oppo Reno 13</h3>

<p>Earlier this week, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/13/oppo-reno-13s-first-image-leaked-reveals-iphone-like-design/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Reno 13&#8217;s rear design was leaked</a>. We can see that the base model has a body, which seems to resemble the iPhone. The Reno 13 has a flat back with a camera module that features integrated cold-craved glass, which mirrors the iPhone&#8217;s camera module. Even the base model of the Reno 13 series can be seen with a triple camera setup on the back. Adding to its premium aesthetic, the Reno 13 also has a metal middle frame, which employs aluminum.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 series real-image" class="wp-image-659774" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-2048x1365.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-1920x1280.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-series-real-image-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 13 series</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>On the front, the Reno 13 sports a tall 6.59-inch display that offers 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, a 50-megapixel selfie camera and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Meanwhile, the rear has a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/12/oppo-reno-13-reno-13-pro-global-variants-certified-launch-timeframe/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">50-megapixel primary camera</a>, which will likely be paired with an ultra wide angle lens. A MediaTek Dimensity chipset is set to power the Reno 13 Pro, so another Dimensity processor may be equipped on the base Reno 13 as well. A large 5,600mAh battery pack powers this device, which may support both wired and wireless fast charging. It is also expected to launch the Android 15 OS based ColorOS 15 custom skin out of the box.</p>

<h3>Oppo Reno 13 Pro</h3>

<p>While the Reno 13 Pro wasn&#8217;t leaked like the Reno 13, we can expect the Reno 13 Pro to offer a similar flat design and metal frame. On the front, the Oppo Reno 13 Pro is expected to sport a taller 6.83-inch micro-quad-curved display that will also offer a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. Under the hood, the device may be equipped with the Dimensity 8350 SoC. A massive 5,900mAh battery pack powers this model that will also offer wired and wireless fast charging. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro.jpg?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 13 Pro" class="wp-image-658140" width="572" height="572" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 572px) 100vw, 572px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 13 Pro</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>For optics, the Reno 13 Pro is rumored to feature a 50-megapixel main camera with OIS support (Optical Image Stabilization), a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/10/22/oppo-reno-13-pro-key-specs-leaked/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">50-megapixel periscope telephoto shooter</a>, and an 8-megapixel ultra wide angle lens. This model will also run on the ColorOS 15. The Reno 13 series are rumored to arrive with both durability and high dust and water resistance as well. </p>

<h3>Launch Timeline</h3>

<p>The company was recently tipped to launch the Oppo Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro in China on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/04/oppo-reno-13-series-november-25-launch-date-tipped-heres-what-we-know-so-far/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">25th November 2024</a>. This lineup is expected to launch with the Oppo Pad 3 in the region. On the other hand, its global release is rumored to kick off sometime in January 2025. Oppo may also <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/13/oppo-reno-13-series-india-launch-timeline-leaks-before-chinese-release/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">unveil the Reno 13 series in India</a> at the start of next year as well.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/oppo-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo</a> is set to launch its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-find-x8/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Find X8 </a>series smartphones globally and in India on November 21, following their recent debut in China. Shortly after, the brand is likely to <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/04/oppo-reno-13-series-november-25-launch-date-tipped-heres-what-we-know-so-far/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">release the mid-range Reno 13 series</a> in China. </p>

<p>However, according to a report by <em>91mobiles</em>, the Reno 13 series won’t see an immediate release outside of China.</p>

<p>The report suggests that Oppo may bring the Reno 13 series to India in January 2025, creating a two-month gap between its Chinese launch. This schedule aligns with Oppo’s usual strategy for the Reno series, where devices typically reach global markets a few months after their initial release in China.</p>

<h2><strong>Oppo Reno 13 Series: Expected Specifications</strong></h2>

<p>Based on recent leaks, the Reno 13 series appears to offer compelling features for the mid-range segment. Both the Reno 13 and Reno 13 Pro are expected to include a 1.5K resolution display, a premium metal build, and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/06/oppo-reno-13-pro-tipped-to-launch-with-dimensity-8350-big-6-83-inch-display/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MediaTek’s Dimensity 8350</a> processor paired with up to 16GB RAM and 1TB of storage.</p>

<p>The standard Reno 13 is rumored to have a 6.59-inch display, while the Pro model could feature a larger 6.83-inch quad-micro-curved display. Both devices are likely to come with high dust and water resistance (IP68/IP69 ratings), X-axis linear vibration motors, and stereo speakers to enhance user experience.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-1024x1024.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G Sunset Gold" class="wp-image-634932" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-1024x1024.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-768x768.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-1068x1068.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold-420x420.png 420w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/06/Oppo-Reno-12-Pro-5G-Sunset-Gold.png 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Oppo Reno 12 Pro 5G Sunset Gold</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Battery life also appears promising, with the Reno 13 expected to have a 5600mAh battery and the Pro model possibly stepping up to a 5900mAh capacity. The Pro version might also support magnetic wireless charging for added convenience.</p>

<p>The Reno 13 Pro’s camera setup could also be another highlight. It reportedly features a 50MP main sensor, an 8MP ultrawide lens, and an impressive 50MP periscope telephoto lens. The front camera is also expected to be 50MP. We will keep you updated on other details of the phone as they emerge. </p>

<p>Details about Oppo&#8217;s Reno 13 series have been gaining traction over the past few days. The lineup is expected to feature two models, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/oppo-reno-13/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reno 13</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-13-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Reno 13 Pro</a>, and may launch in China on N<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/11/04/oppo-reno-13-series-november-25-launch-date-tipped-heres-what-we-know-so-far/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">ovember 25</a>.</p>

<p>New information about the top-tier Reno 13 Pro has surfaced on the Chinese social media platform Weibo, thanks to tipster Digital Chat Station. Although the tipster hasn’t named the device directly, the leaked specs suggest it’s likely the Reno 13 Pro.</p>

<h2><strong>Oppo Reno 13 Pro Specifications (Expected)</strong></h2>

<p>According to Digital Chat Station, the device will run on a yet-to-be-released Dimensity 8350 processor from MediaTek. While earlier rumors pointed to a Dimensity 9300, the new leak suggests otherwise.</p>

<p>If true, this would be a step down from the<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-12-pro-china/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Reno 12 Pro-Chinese model</a>, which uses a Dimensity 9200+ processor. For memory, DCS suggests the top configuration will offer 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.</p>

<p>Rather than focusing on the processor, Oppo seems to be prioritizing other aspects of the phone this time. The device will feature a larger quad-curved display than its predecessor, measuring 6.83 inches.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="392" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-specs.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-658545" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-specs.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-specs-300x131.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-specs-768x335.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2024/11/Oppo-Reno-13-Pro-specs-696x303.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>The camera setup will likely stay the same as its predecessor&#8217;s. It will feature a 50MP main camera, 8MP ultrawide, 50MP telephoto sensor on the rear, and a 50MP selfie camera on the front.</p>

<p>Additionally, DCS notes that the phone&#8217;s previous engineering model includes a metal middle frame and holds both IP68 and IP69 ratings for dust and water resistance, an upgrade from the Reno 12 Pro&#8217;s IP65 rating.&nbsp;</p>

<p>Wireless charging support is also expected—a feature missing in last year’s model—though the tipster seems uncertain if the latter-mentioned specs will make it to the retail version.</p>
