Last week, OPPO silently unveiled a new phone called OPPO A32 in China. It arrived as a rebranded version of the OPPO A53 that debuted earlier in other markets such as Indonesia and India. The company is now gearing up to announce the OPPO Reno4 SE smartphone in the home market. Today, the company confirmed that it will be made official on Sept. 21. Also, retailer sites in China have started with the reservations of the device.

OPPO Reno4 renders and variants

The retailer listings of OPPO Reno4 SE have revealed that it will be coming to China in two options such as 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage and 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage. The Reno4 SE will be available in three colors in China such as Super Flash Black, Super Flash White, and Super Flash Blue.

The renders of the Reno4 SE can be seen flaunting a punch-hole display. It has an AMOLED panel with an in-screen fingerprint sensor. The back panel of the phone has a square-shaped camera module that has a triple camera system and an LED flash.

A China Telecom product library listing of the Reno4 SE was spotted last week. The two variants were mentioned with placeholder price tags 2,699 Yuan (~$397) and 2,999 Yuan (~$442), respectively. The handset will be endorsed by a well-known Chinese singer and actor Wang Junkai.

There were speculations that it could be coming with Dimensity 800 or Dimensity 800U chipset. However, a Chinese tipster recently revealed that it will be fueled by Dimensity 720.  Today, the OPPO Reno4 SE appeared in the product library of China Telecom. The listing has not only confirmed its moniker and processor name, but also includes its other specifications, images, and pricing.

The China Telecom listing states that the OPPO Reno4 SE will release in the Chinese markets today. However, there is no official confirmation on it from OPPO. It may come in color variants like blue, black, and white.

In August, China’s TENAA telecom authority had certified an OPPO phone with PEAM00 / PEAT00 model number. The specifications of the smartphone match with Reno4 SE’s leaked specs. Hence, it is likely that the PEAM00 / PEAT00 smartphone could be arriving in China as OPPO Reno4 SE.

The OPPO Reno4 SE could be priced at 2,599 Yuan (~$380) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage. The device may rival the likes of Vivo S7 and Realme X7 in the Chinese markets.
