<p>ASUS has unveiled a special-edition gaming mouse to celebrate the 20th anniversary of its Republic of Gamers (ROG) brand. Called the <strong>ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20</strong>, the new mouse was introduced at Computex Taipei 2026 and combines esports-grade performance with a premium collector-focused design.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="741" height="642" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-12.png?x96852" alt="" class="wp-image-740715" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-12.png 741w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-12-300x260.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-12-696x603.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-12-485x420.png 485w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-12-534x462.png 534w" sizes="(max-width: 741px) 100vw, 741px" /></figure></div>

<h3><strong>Premium Design With 24K Gold Accents</strong></h3>

<p>The anniversary edition is based on the ROG Harpe II Extreme launched in late 2025, but features a unique semi-transparent black shell and a 24K gold-plated internal metal frame. ASUS has also added gold-colored side buttons, a gold scroll wheel, and gold-accented mouse feet.</p>

<p>A special engraving reading &#8220;ROG 06 ←→ ∞&#8221; appears on the left mouse button, highlighting the brand&#8217;s 20-year milestone. Despite its premium construction, the mouse weighs just 82g. ASUS also uses Corning Gorilla Glass mouse feet for smoother movement and improved durability.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="903" height="465" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-13.png?x96852" alt="" class="wp-image-740716" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-13.png 903w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-13-300x154.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-13-768x395.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-13-696x358.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2026/06/image-13-816x420.png 816w" sizes="(max-width: 903px) 100vw, 903px" /></figure></div>

<h3><strong>Built for Competitive Gaming</strong></h3>

<p>Under the hood, the ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 packs ASUS&#8217; AimPoint Pro 65K optical sensor. The sensor supports up to 65,000 DPI, tracking speeds of 800 IPS, and 70G acceleration.</p>

<p>The mouse uses ROG SpeedNova 8K wireless technology, delivering up to an 8,000Hz polling rate and wireless latency as low as 0.2ms. ASUS has also equipped it with ROG 100M optical switches rated for up to 100 million clicks.</p>

<h3><strong>Price and Availability</strong></h3>

<p>The ROG Harpe II Extreme Edition 20 is priced at $259.99. Sales begin on June 2, 2026, through Best Buy and Newegg, while Amazon and Micro Center will start offering the mouse from July 19, 2026. ASUS says the model will be available only through the end of 2026 as part of a limited anniversary production run.</p>

The company is expected to release a second-gen model dubbed ROG 2 this year. There have been speculations as to the date the device will be launched but that seems to have been put to rest as a rumour from Taiwan says the ROG 2 will be launched on July 23 in China. The device will be ASUS&#8217; first gaming phone since the company signed a strategic agreement with Tencent.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/asus-rog-phone-6.jpg?x96852"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-194995" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/asus-rog-phone-6.jpg?x96852" alt="ASUS ROG gaming smartphone" width="600" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/asus-rog-phone-6.jpg 600w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/asus-rog-phone-6-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/06/asus-rog-phone-6-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 600px) 100vw, 600px" /></a></p>
<p>The gaming flagship phone will be launched at an event in Beijing but ASUS is yet to disclose official details of the launch itinerary. After the launch, ASUS will reportedly showcase the phone at ChinaJoy 2019 expo holding from August 1 in Shanghai and which is expected to have in attendance 400,000 eSports players.</p>
<p style="text-align: center"><strong><span style="color: #ff0000">EDITOR&#8217;S PICK:</span> <a title="Xiaomi pokes fun at notch screen phones in latest promo videos!" href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/06/18/xiaomi-pokes-fun-at-notch-screen-phones-in-latest-promo-video/" rel="bookmark">Xiaomi pokes fun at notch screen phones in latest promo videos!</a></strong></p>
<p>Details of the ROG 2 phone are still evasive but the phone is expected to have a Snapdragon 855 chipset at its heart. Perhaps, the most interesting detail about the phone yet is the news that <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/06/12/asus-rog-phone-2-with-120-hz-display-to-launch-in-july/">the ROG 2 display will have a 120Hz refresh rate</a>. This is way higher than the 90Hz refresh rate which the ASUS ROG display has. In addition, the ASUS ROG 2 will reportedly come in two variants, with the base model carrying a price tag of 4,399 yuan (around $635). We also expect the design to include a cooling system and a glowing Asus logo, like its predecessor.</p>
