<p>The world of flip phones is getting a glamorous new entry. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/category/honor/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Honor </a>is gearing up to launch the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/honor-magic-v-flip-2/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Magic V Flip 2</a>, and this time, it isn’t just about cutting-edge specs. The company is bringing the latest hardware packed in a gorgeous new body, co-designed with Jimmy Choo. So here&#8217;s everything you need to know about this premium foldable.</p>

<h3>Design and Display</h3>

<p>The Chinese brand has already shared a bunch of teasers showcasing the Magic V Flip 2&#8217;s features and design. But one of the most notable aspects was related to the Blue variant of this phone, which is co-designed with Jimmy Choo. This brings a shiny new back panel that is studded with crystals for a starry sky effect. Flip phones have recently been seen as products that blend tech and fashion, so bringing on a designer seems like an obvious move. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-blue.png?x44794" alt="Honor Magic V Flip 2" class="wp-image-701268" width="673" height="673" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-blue.png 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-blue-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-blue-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-blue-768x768.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-blue-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-blue-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 673px) 100vw, 673px" /><figcaption>Honor Magic V Flip 2 </figcaption></figure></div>

<p>Apart from this, the Magic V Flip 2 is also quite thin and light, measuring 6.9mm thick and weighing 204 grams. Just recently, Motorola partnered up with fashion brand <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/06/motorola-razr-2025-buds-loop-swarovski-brilliant-collection/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Swarovski for its Razr 2025 and Moto Buds Loop</a> as well. Based on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/14/full-honor-magic-v-flip-2-specs-leak-and-theres-no-snapdragon-8-elite-inside/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">recent leaks</a>, the Magic V Flip 2 may feature a tall 6.82-inch LTPO OLED foldable screen with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate. Meanwhile, the cover display could be a 4-inch LTPO OLED 120Hz display.</p>

<h3>Specifications</h3>

<p>Under the hood, the Magic V Flip 2 could be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip or the new Snapdragon 8s Gen 4 SoC. This high end processor could be paired <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/08/13/honor-magic-v-flip-2-august-21-launch/">with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 1TB of storage</a>. As of right now, the Xiaomi Mix Flip 2 has the largest battery in a flip phone with its 5,165mAh cell and 67W fast charging support, but it lacks wireless charging. However, the Magic V Flip 2 will take the lead with a large 5,500mAh battery pack, which not only supports 80W wired fast charging but also 50W wireless fast charging. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="617" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--1024x617.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-701609" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--1024x617.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--300x181.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--768x463.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--1536x925.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--696x419.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--1068x643.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--1920x1157.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size--697x420.jpg 697w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/08/Honor-Magic-V-Flip-2-battery-size-.jpg 2000w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<h3>Camera</h3>

Meanwhile, the front might house a 50MP selfie camera on the primary display, but users can even use the rear cameras as the selfie shooter. </p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/vivo-x200-fe/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo X200 FE</a> is shaping up to be another smartphone from the compact category. Recent leaks and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/09/vivo-x200-fe-certified-ahead-launch/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">certifications </a>suggest the device will pack serious hardware in a more affordable and pocket-friendly design. While official specs are still under wraps, the rumor mill points at a capable chipset, notable cameras, and a relatively small yet smooth display. With its timing and positioning, it could be Vivo’s shot at the compact premium market, which might have it go head-to-head with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/08/oneplus-13s-vs-google-pixel-9a-not-even-close/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">OnePlus 13s</a> (<strong><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/06/05/oneplus-13s-review/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Review</a></strong>).</p>

<h3>Vivo X200 FE: Design and Display</h3>

<p>The Chinese brand&#8217;s upcoming Vivo X200 FE is expected to be a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2025/04/25/upcoming-vivo-x200-fe-for-india-could-be-rebranded-vivo-s30-pro-mini/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">rebranded version of the Vivo S30 Pro Mini</a> for the global market. So while we have no official teasers that showcase its looks, the design might be similar to the S30 Pro Mini, which features an oval shaped camera module on the rear. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="640" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-1024x640.png?x44794" alt="Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini" class="wp-image-689116" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-1024x640.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-300x188.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-768x480.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-696x435.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-1068x668.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini-672x420.png 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-S30-Pro-Mini.png 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo S30 Pro Mini</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The body is rated with an IP68/IP69 rating for water and dust resistance and color options include Light Blue, Light Pink, Black, and Yellow (Dual tone color with a black frame). Moving on to the front, the Vivo X200 FE is rumored to sport a 6.31-inch 1.5K LTPO AMOLED display with a 1.5K resolution, a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, and 4320Hz PWM dimming for improved eye comfort.</p>

<h3>Performance</h3>

<p>Vivo&#8217;s new X200 FE is expected to be a budget premium phone in a small form factor as it could be equipped with either the MediaTek Dimensity 9400e or Dimensity 9300+ SoC. To recall, the Dimensity 9400e is a slightly cutdown version of the flagship Dimensity 9400 chipset, while the 9300+ is last year&#8217;s top mobile chip from MediaTek. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="768" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-1024x768.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo X200 FE Leak" class="wp-image-687859" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-1024x768.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-768x576.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-1536x1152.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-696x522.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-1068x801.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-560x420.jpg 560w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2025/05/Vivo-X200-FE-Black-scaled-e1747827993371.jpg 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /><figcaption>Vivo X200 FE (Rumored)</figcaption></figure></div>

<p>The Dimensity 9300+ processor on the S30 Pro Mini is paired with up to 16GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage. Thanks to advancements in battery tech, Chinese manufacturers have managed to pack big batteries on smaller phones and the X200 FE is no exception. It is expected to pack a massive 6,500mAh battery pack, which supports 90W wired fast charging. </p>

<h3>Camera</h3>

<p>For photography, the Vivo X200 FE packs some flagship grade camera sensors. Its main sensor could be a 50MP Sony IMX921 camera along with a 50MP IMX882 telephoto shooter with 3x optical zoom. This is the same image sensors found in the brand&#8217;s flagship Vivo X200. Although, its third sensor is a downgraded 8MP ultra wide angle lens. Meanwhile, the front may house a 50MP camera for selfies and video calls.</p>

<h3>Rumored Launch Date</h3>

<p>Vivo is gearing up to launch the X200 FE model in the Indian market soon. <h2>Samsung Galaxy S24, Galaxy S24+: Design &amp; Display</h2>

<p>Both the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ feature upgrades over the previous generation in terms of design. Similar to the previous generation, the two phones have a glass back and metallic frame. The rear has a Corning Gorilla Glass Victus Armor that is paired with an Armor Aluminum frame. The back also houses a triple camera setup, while the front houses a center aligned punch hole cutout for a selfie camera. The vanilla version is rumored to weigh just 167 grams and measure 7.6mm in thickness and the Galaxy S24+ may weigh around 196 grams and measure just 7.7mm.</p>

<p>On the other hand, the Galaxy S24 sports a 6.2-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that will offer a 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+, Full HD+ resolution, Always On, Eye Comfort Shield, and Vision Booster. Samsung&#8217;s Galaxy S24+ features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that supports QHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, Always On, Vision Booster, and Eye Comfort Shield as well. The screen is surrounded by minimal bezels based on the renders that have surfaced recently. </p>

In an earlier report, we covered the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2024/01/01/report-details-samsung-galaxy-s24-series-pre-order-benefits-double-storage-and-more/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">pre-order details and benefits </a>of the Galaxy S24 series. Apparently, the South Korean tech giant will offer a free upgrade offer that doubles the storage of the model you pre-order. So if you pre-order a 128GB model, you get a 256GB variant.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="889" height="259" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/S24-series.jpeg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-592660" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/S24-series.jpeg 889w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/S24-series-300x87.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/S24-series-768x224.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/12/S24-series-696x203.jpeg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 889px) 100vw, 889px" /></figure></div>

Black and Purple feature a glass panel on the rear with the large circular camera module, while the other two feature a dual tone design that is complimented by a leather finish on the lower half. </p>

<p>This design is also reflected in the Desert Moon and Sea and Sky variants of the Find X7 Ultra, although the Pine Shadow Ink option is the only model with a glass panel. The circular camera module also features the Hasselblad branding as well. A rumor has hinted at the Find X7 Ultra offering a three stage alert slider as well.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/vivo-x100-series/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Vivo X100 series</a> is the brand&#8217;s latest generation of flagship smartphones. As we get closer to the official announcement, here&#8217;s a detailed roundup of all the rumors and leaks we have covered over the past few weeks. This should offer you a good idea of what to expect from the upcoming X100, X100 Pro, and X100 Pro+ models.</p>

<h2>Vivo X100 Series: Design &amp; Display</h2>

<p>Since these are high end devices, the Vivo X100 lineup will launch with a premium design. In our previous report, we covered both leaked and official teaser image posters that revealed the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/10/30/vivo-x100-x100-pro-color-options/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">color options </a>of the X100 lineup. These images reveal not just the colors but the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/06/vivo-x100-pro-official-renders-emerge-to-reveal-design-color-options/">design </a>of the upcoming smartphones as well. The X100 Pro models is set to launch in four color options, namely Star Trail Blue, Sunset Orange, White Moonlight, and Cheyne Black. The rear panel of the orange variant will include faux leather, while the others feature a glass back panel. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="889" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-1024x889.jpg?x44794" alt="Vivo X100 Pro" class="wp-image-580067" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-1024x889.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-300x260.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-768x666.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-1536x1333.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-2048x1777.jpg 2048w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-696x604.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-1068x927.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-1920x1666.jpg 1920w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/11/6e16364dgy1hjhoq9wg2qj24xs4aahdz-484x420.jpg 484w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>A large circular camera island can be seen at the back, which houses the multiple cameras. The X100 Pro series is expected to have curved edges. On the front, the Vivo X100 is rumored to sport a 6.79-inch AMOLED display that offers 120Hz refresh rate and Full HD+ resolution. The higher end Pro and Pro+ variants are rumored to feature the same display size, with curved edges being the main distinction. All three models will house a center aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera.</p>

<h2>Specifications</h2>

<p>While the devices will likely appear similar from the outside, the internals are where the differences start surfacing. Under the hood, the base X100 and X100 Pro models are expected to feature the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/11/06/vivo-x100-pro-teaser-video-confirms-dimensity-9300-and-v3-chip/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">MediaTek Dimensity 9300</a> SoC. However, a recent GeekBench sighting hinted that the X100 Pro could arrive in a<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/10/30/vivo-x100-pro-spotted-on-geekbench/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"> Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 variant</a>, although this is highly unlikely. Lastly, the top end X100 Pro+ variant will feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 SoC. Interestingly, these smartphones will be the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/10/25/vivo-x100-first-feature-lpddr5t-ram/">first to feature LPDDR5T </a>RAM. This memory promises to offer 13 percent faster performance over the LPDDR5X modules. </p>

<p>The X100 and X100 Pro will launch with at least one model that offers 12GB RAM, while the X100 Pro+ will top out with a whopping 24GB of memory and 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. These could offer virtual RAM expansion support as well. A large 5,000mAh battery pack is expected to power the base model, while the Pro variants may pack a 5,400mAh battery. The lineup will offer 120W fast charging support, with the Pro models expected to offer 50W wireless fast charging as well. Vivo&#8217;s X100 phones would run on Android 14 OS based OriginOS 4 custom skin out of the box. </p>

<h2>Camera</h2>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/google/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Google </a>is set to launch its flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/google-pixel-8/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 8 </a>series of smartphones next week. Now, here&#8217;s a complete roundup of everything you need to know about the base <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/google-pixel-8/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Pixel 8</a> model. So let&#8217;s have a look at the specs, pricing, design, and more.</p>

<h2>Google Pixel 8: Design &amp; Display</h2>

<p>The Search Engine giant isn&#8217;t bringing any radical changes to the 2023 Pixel lineup. So the Pixel 8 retains a recognizable form factor and a visor-like camera module. However, there are some updates to the existing formula. The device would likely keep to its matte aluminium and glossy glass finish. The Pixel 8 will reportedly feature more rounded corners and an overall smaller footprint. It is believed to measure 150.5mm x 70.8mm x 8.9mm in dimensions, compared to the Pixel 7&#8217;s 155.6mm x 73.2mm x 8.7mm.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="500" height="500" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Google-Pixel-8-2.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 8" class="wp-image-567222" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Google-Pixel-8-2.jpg 500w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Google-Pixel-8-2-300x300.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Google-Pixel-8-2-150x150.jpg 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/06/Google-Pixel-8-2-420x420.jpg 420w" sizes="(max-width: 500px) 100vw, 500px" /></figure></div>

<p>The smaller size also means that the display on the next-gen Pixel phone is slightly smaller than its predecessor. The Google Pixel is expected to sport a 6.17-inch OLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR support, and up to 1,400 nits of peak brightness. The front also houses a center aligned punch hole cutout for the selfie camera. </p>

<h2>Specifications</h2>

<p>Under the hood, the Pixel 8 lineup will be equipped with the new Tensor G3 SoC. The chipset is rumored to be a processor built on the unannounced Samsung Exynos 2300. The upcoming Tensor G3 is based on Samsung&#8217;s advanced 3nm process node, which should offer improved power efficiency and performance. The processor will reportedly be paired with the same storage configuration options as last year. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="493" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-1024x493.png?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 8" class="wp-image-565081" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-1024x493.png 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-300x144.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-768x370.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-1536x739.png 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-696x335.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-1068x514.png 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030-873x420.png 873w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/09/Screenshot-2023-09-07-184030.png 1920w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Meaning, we can expect to find a 128GB or 256GB storage option. Apart from this, the device will likely introduce an upgraded ultrasonic fingerprint sensor and Android 14 OS out of the box. A 4,485mAh battery pack may power the Pixel 8, which supports 24W fast charging.</p>

<h2>Camera</h2>

<p>The Google Pixel series is known for its outstanding cameras. So many have high expectations for the image sensors on the new Pixel 8. Based on recent reports, the base model will feature a 50-megapixel ISOCELL GN2 primary camera from Samsung. This will be complimented with a 12-megapixel INX386 ultra wide angle lens. It is expected to feature an upgraded ToF (Time of Flight) sensor as well. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="506" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Google-Pixel-8-Renders.jpeg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel 8 Renders" class="wp-image-560040" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Google-Pixel-8-Renders.jpeg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Google-Pixel-8-Renders-300x169.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Google-Pixel-8-Renders-768x432.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Google-Pixel-8-Renders-696x391.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Google-Pixel-8-Renders-747x420.jpeg 747w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the other hand, the front is rumored to house an 11-megapixel camera for selfies and video games. The camera would offer a series of useful features from the Camera app. This includes Staggered HDR, Face Unblur, Photo Unblur, up to 8K resolution recording, Night Sight, Super Res Zoom, Video Unblur, Audio Magic Eraser, and much more.</p>

<h2>Launch Date, Colors, and Pricing</h2>

<p>The company will host the Made by Google launch event on 4th October 2023. The Pixel 8 model is expected to launch in multiple color variants, including Hazel, Rose, and Obsidian. Unlike the Pro versions, the base Pixel phones were popular for their $600 price tag. But it seems like the brand won&#8217;t be maintaining this pricing this year. The vanilla model is expected to see a 100 US Dollar price hike over last year&#8217;s Pixel 7, so it might cost around 700 US Dollars.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/apple/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple</a>&#8216;s next-gen flagship smartphone launch is just around the corner. The company will unveil the brand-new iPhone 15 lineup next week, so here&#8217;s a detailed roundup of everything we know about the higher-end <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-15-pro/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 15 Pro</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/apple-iphone-15-pro-max/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iPhone 15 Pro Max</a> (also rumored to be called the iPhone 15 Ultra).</p>

<h2>Apple iPhone 15 Pro &amp; 15 Pro Max/Ultra: Design &amp; Display</h2>

<p>One of the more notable changes arriving in the iPhone 15 lineup is the improvements in design. The more expensive Pro models are expected to shift away from a stainless steel to a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/01/apple-iphone-15-pro-titanium-frame-rumors/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">titanium chassis</a>. This will make the devices lighter than the previous generation while also making them stronger. Notably, titanium is already being used in the Apple Watch lineup, so it isn&#8217;t the first time the company is working with such materials. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share-1024x536.jpg?x44794" alt="iPhone 15 Pro Max Shipment Share" class="wp-image-562220" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share-1024x536.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share-300x157.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share-768x402.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share-696x364.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share-1068x559.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share-803x420.jpg 803w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-Shipment-Share.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Another major design change is the shift to a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/15/apple-iphone-15-usb-c-3ld3-chip/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">USB Type-C port</a> for charging and data transfer. The upcoming iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max models might also feature a display with thinner bezels, measuring just 1.55mm which is thinner than the 2.17mm on the iPhone 14 Pro. The iPhone 15 Pro series was initially rumored to feature solid-state buttons, but these plans have reportedly been scrapped due to technical issues. </p>

<p>These buttons would replace the physical buttons and would employ haptic feedback to mimic the feel of a button press. But while the buttons aren&#8217;t changing, a new one might be added to the Pro models. Leaks have hinted at the new iPhone 15 Pro and Pro Max possibly featuring an Action button, instead of the mute slider. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="900" height="600" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max.jpg?x44794" alt="" class="wp-image-560698" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max.jpg 900w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iPhone-15-Pro-Max-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 900px) 100vw, 900px" /></figure></div>

<p>This action button may be located near the volume rockers and help perform quick tasks like launching a camera and more. On the front, the iPhone 15 Pro series is expected to feature an OLED panel that has a power-efficient display driver chip. The Pro will sport a 6.1-inch panel while the Pro Max will feature a taller 6.7-inch screen that supports Face ID and Dynamic Island cutout. The panel is expected to feature LIPO technology, which was first used in the Apple Watch Series 7.</p>

<h2>Apple iPhone 15 Pro Series: Specs</h2>

<p>Under the hood, both models will be equipped with the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/03/13/apple-3nm-a17-geekbench/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Apple A17 Bionic </a>chipset that is based on a 3nm process and offers around 10 to 15 percent performance boost over the previous-gen chip. Unlike their predecessor, the iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max may feature a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/02/22/iphone-15-pro-ram-upgrade/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">higher 8GB of LPDDR5 RAM </a>instead of 6GB. The RAM isn&#8217;t the only aspect getting a bump, as the base storage is also expected to rise from 128GB to 256GB, maxing out at 2TB. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Apple iPhone 15 India store" class="wp-image-558555" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/iphone-15-production-india.jpg 1280w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>The iPhone 14 Pro is rumored to be powered by a 3,650mAh battery while the iPhone 15 Pro Max may house a 4,952mAh battery pack, which are both larger than the iPhone 14 Pro series. Rumors have hinted that the upcoming iPhone Pro series could feature 35W fast charging. On the rear, Apple will likely upgrade the camera hardware. The iPhone 15 Pro Max may arrive with a nearly 1-inch camera sensor that has a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/28/iphone-15-pro-max-feature-same-camera-display-tech-iphone-14-pro-max-leak/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">48-megapixel sensor, sticking with the Sony IMX803</a>. Earlier reports claimed that the upcoming iPhones may have a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/11/apple-iphone-15-pro-max-periscope-lens/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">periscope lens</a> as well, which would enable improved zoom capabilities. </p>

<p>The iPhone 15 lineup is scheduled to be announced on 12th September 2023. Apple will unveil the new devices alongside certain other products at 1:00 pm ET. The brand is apparently planning on hiking the price tag of the next-gen iPhones by a notable amount. The iPhone 15 Pro could start from 1,099 US Dollars, which is 100 US Dollars higher than the iPhone 14 Pro. Meanwhile, the iPhone 15 Pro Max/Ultra could also be 100 US Dollars more expensive as well.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/realme/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme </a>is gearing up to launch a new model from its popular GT lineup of smartphones. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/realme-gt-5/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Realme GT 5</a> is the latest entry in the series and is already a highly anticipated launch in the brand&#8217;s home market of China. So here&#8217;s a roundup of everything we know regarding the upcoming device.</p>

<h2>Realme GT 5: Design &amp; Display</h2>

<p>The new Realme GT 5 design was officially revealed earlier this week. For the new launch, the company partnered up with BYD Electronics for the &#8216;<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/24/realme-gt-5-design-officially-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Miracle Glass</a>&#8216; on the GT 5. The rear features a curved edge and the Realme GT 5 features a dual-tone rear panel for the back panel and the dual cameras. Simply put, it resembles a thicker version of the Pixel 7 series visor camera module. The left side of this module houses the two sensors while the right side features rectangular LED light strips that can change to multiple colors. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="683" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-1024x683.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme GT 5" class="wp-image-561257" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-1024x683.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-1536x1024.jpg 1536w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-1068x712.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C-630x420.jpg 630w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-Featured-C.jpg 1914w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>This side has a transparent glass window that offers us a glimpse of the Snapdragon processor underneath. The Realme GT 5 is confirmed to launch in at least one color variant, which is Flowing Silver Mirror. The design of the smartphone was <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/08/09/realme-gt-5-design-texture/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">reportedly </a>so hard to make that suppliers faced a tough time meeting standards.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="576" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-1024x576.jpg?x44794" alt="Realme-GT-5" class="wp-image-560120" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-1024x576.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-300x169.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-768x432.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-696x392.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-1068x601.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5-747x420.jpg 747w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/08/Realme-GT-5.jpg 1200w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Meanwhile, the front sports a tall 6.74-inch OLED display that offers 1.5K resolution. The display also offers a high 144Hz refresh rate. The screen panel also features a center-aligned punch-hole selfie camera. Realme&#8217;s upcoming flagship phone has an independent X7 display chip that was developed by PixelWords for an improved visual experience.</p>

<h2>Specifications</h2>

<p>Under the hood, the Realme GT 5 is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC that is paired with up to 24GB of LPDDR5X RAM and up to 1TB of UFS 4.0 storage. There will be two variants of the device. <p>Back in May 2023, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2023/05/24/oppo-reno-10-pro-launched-with-snapdragon-8-gen-1-periscope-zoom-camera-reno-10-pro-debuts-with-dimensity-8200/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Oppo Reno 10 series had been launched</a> in the Chinese market. Since then, we had covered various reports that had hinted at its global launch, which was confirmed recently. However, it appears that the Reno 10 lineup that is arriving in the global market will be slightly different from the Chinese variant. So here&#8217;s a detailed rumor roundup.</p>

<h4>Design &amp; Display</h4>

<p>In terms of design, the global variant of the Reno 10 series will look identical to their Chinese counterpart with changes only being reflected in the internal specifications. Thus, the Reno 10 will still launch with a curved glass body on the rear, with a plastic frame on the side. Meanwhile, the higher end Reno 10 series also features the exact same build quality. Another aspect that is similar is the large camera island on the back.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Oppo-Reno-10-1-1.webp?x44794" alt="Oppo" class="wp-image-548626" width="510" height="494" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Oppo-Reno-10-1-1.webp 928w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Oppo-Reno-10-1-1-300x291.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Oppo-Reno-10-1-1-768x745.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Oppo-Reno-10-1-1-696x675.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Oppo-Reno-10-1-1-433x420.webp 433w" sizes="(max-width: 510px) 100vw, 510px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Reno 10 series features a large oval shaped module that houses the triple rear image sensors. This module features a dual tone design with one half housing the two cameras and LED flash module while the lower half has the periscopic zoom lens and the MariSilicon branding. On the front, the entire lineup features a center aligned punch hole selfie camera and curved displays. </p>

<p>The base Reno 10 sports a 6.7 inch OLED 10bit panel that supports 2412 x 1080 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, 2160 PWM dimming, and 950 nits of peak brightness. On the other hand, the Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ feature a taller 6.74 inch OLED 10bit panel has a higher 2772 x 1240 pixel resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, 240Hz touch sampling rate, and a higher peak brightness of 1,400 nits.</p>

<h4>Specifications</h4>

<p>The specs sheet is where we&#8217;ll find the major differences between the Chinese and global versions. Although, the Reno 10 Pro+ appears to be the only model that is identical for the global launch. In other words, it is equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 SoC that is paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5 RAM and up to 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. These specs basically means that this is a high model that will deliver top notch performance.</p>

<p>However, the Reno 10 Pro features the Snapdragon 778G SoC over the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chip found in the Chinese variant. Similarly, even the Reno 10 will be equipped with a Dimensity 7050, rather than the Snapdragon 778G processor in its Chinese version. These two models will come with at least one variant with 8GB of RAM and 128GB or 256GB of internal storage. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="536" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/OPPO-Reno-10-Pro-Plus-1-1024x536-1-1.webp?x44794" alt="Oppo" class="wp-image-548627" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/OPPO-Reno-10-Pro-Plus-1-1024x536-1-1.webp 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/OPPO-Reno-10-Pro-Plus-1-1024x536-1-1-300x157.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/OPPO-Reno-10-Pro-Plus-1-1024x536-1-1-768x402.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/OPPO-Reno-10-Pro-Plus-1-1024x536-1-1-696x364.webp 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/OPPO-Reno-10-Pro-Plus-1-1024x536-1-1-802x420.webp 802w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure></div>

<p>Under the hood, the Reno 10 Pro+ will be powered by a 4,700mAh battery pack that supports 100W SuperVOOC Flash Charge technology. This enables the device to hit 50 percent charge in just 10 minutes and hit 100 percent in an impressive 27 minutes. The Reno 10 Pro houses a 4,600mAh battery pack that supports 80W fast charging, which can also charge the device to 100 percent in 28 minutes. Lastly, we have the base Reno 10 that has the largest 5,000mAh battery pack in the series, but with the slowest 67W fast charging rate. It also takes the longest to charge, hitting full capacity in 47 minutes.</p>

<p>The Oppo Reno 10 lineup will also arrive with a number of notable features like IR blaster, a new advanced cooling system on the Reno 10 Pro+, which features Ultra-Conductive Graphite and a Vapor Chamber, resulting in a 92 percent increase in heat dissipation for better thermals. The Reno 10 and Reno 10 Pro employ a conventional graphite cooling system. All three models will also run on Android 13 OS out of the box.</p>

<h4>Camera</h4>

<p>While all three smartphones feature a triple camera setup, there are some slight differences between them. The top end Reno 10 Pro and Reno 10 Pro+ features a 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor that supports OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) that is paired with an 8 megapixel Sony IMX355 ultra wide angle lens, and a 64 megapixel OmniVision OV64B periscope zoom lens as well that supports OIS and 3x optical zoom and up to 120x hybrid zoom. On the front, it houses a 32 megapixel Sony IMX709 selfie camera.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1001" height="420" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Reno-10-series-1001x420-1.webp?x44794" alt="Oppo" class="wp-image-548628" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Reno-10-series-1001x420-1.webp 1001w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Reno-10-series-1001x420-1-300x126.webp 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Reno-10-series-1001x420-1-768x322.webp 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/07/Reno-10-series-1001x420-1-696x292.webp 696w" sizes="(max-width: 1001px) 100vw, 1001px" /></figure></div>

<p>The base Reno 10 features a 64 megapixel OV64B primary sensor on the rear that is accompanied by an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle Sony IMX355 sensor and a 32 megapixel telephoto shooter, which is a Sony IMX709 sensor that offers 2x optical zoom. The front houses a 32 megapixel selfie camera.</p>

<h4>Availability</h4>

The Indian release of the device is set for July 10, while the Malaysian launch is on July 6. However, the official announcement for this device will take place on July 6 as well. It is expected to offer IP53 rating for added protection and measure around 8.5mm in thickness and 204 grams in weight.</p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO </a>is gearing up to launch its latest Z generation of mid range smartphones soon in China. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/iqoo-z7/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">iQOO Z7</a> lineup arrives as the successor to the Z6 series. So here&#8217;s a round up of all details that we have regarding the upcoming devices like its specs, design, and more.</p>

<h4>iQOO Z7</h4>

<p>The new Z7 series includes the base Z7 and the Z7x models. The former is a higher end model and is expected to sport a FHD+ display with an LCD panel and a 120HZ refresh rate. The LCD panel will offer a punch hole cutout for the selfie camera and low blue light emission at the hardware level, eye protection mode, DC dimming, and adaptive brightness. The device will arrive in two color options, namely blue and orange.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="1024" height="771" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO" class="wp-image-523210" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-300x226.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-768x578.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-696x524.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-558x420.jpg 558w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-teaser-1024x771-1-80x60.jpg 80w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Under the hood, this device will be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 782G SoC. This chipset will be paired with up to 12GB of RAM and up to 156GB of internal storage. The iQOO Z7 will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery pack that will support an impressive 120W fast charging. The rear is believed to feature a 64 megapixel primary camera along with two 2 megapixel sensors and an 8 megapixel selfie shooter. </p>

<h4>iQOO Z7x</h4>

<p>The iQOO Z7x is a more affordable option in the upcoming lineup but still offers some notable specs. While the exact display parameters are still unclear, the brand confirmed that it will sport an LCD panel that also offers DC dimming, and low blue light output with eye protection. However, it is unclear if the display size will be the same as its more expensive sibling. Earlier today, the company revealed a new teaser for the series, revealing 7 &#8216;flagship&#8217; features. This includes a NFC, OIS stabilization, infrared remote control sensor, X axis motor, dual stereo speakers, WiFi 6, and high performance antennas.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="576" height="1024" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1.jpg?x44794" alt="iQOO" class="wp-image-523289" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1.jpg 576w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1-169x300.jpg 169w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/03/iQOO-Z7-series-lCD-paenl-576x1024-1-236x420.jpg 236w" sizes="(max-width: 576px) 100vw, 576px" /></figure></div>

<p>This model will be equipped with the Snapdragon 695 SoC, although, it will be powered by a larger 6,000mAh battery pack that supports 80W fast charging. This model could offer either 6GB or 8GB of RAM as well . Unfortunately, there is still no information available regarding the camera on this model. Although, both the Z7 and Z7x will run on Android 13 OS based OriginOS 3.0 custom skin. </p>

<p>As of right now, finer details like expected pricing and full specs are still unclear. iQOO is set to launch both of these phones in China later this month on 20th March 2023. So stick around for more as we will be covering the launch event next month.</p>

During this conference, the company will be announcing various new products with the highlight being its next generation of flagship smartphones, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/samsung-galaxy-s23/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy S23 </a>series. Now, here&#8217;s a roundup of the lineup&#8217;s top end <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s23-ultra/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Galaxy S23 Ultra </a>model.</p>

<h4>Design &amp; Display</h4>

<p>The Galaxy S23 Ultra is believed to feature a design that is quite similar to its predecessor, the Galaxy S22 Ultra. In other words, it will feature sharp and straight corners rather than rounded ones as well. The rear will feature vertically stacked cameras that have a slight bump on the top half, while the bottom half simply carries the Samsung branding. Meanwhile, the front will feature a tall display with minimal bezels on all sides and a center aligned punch hole selfie camera.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="768" height="384" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_5-768x384-1.jpeg?x44794" alt="Samsung" class="wp-image-511629" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_5-768x384-1.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_5-768x384-1-300x150.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_5-768x384-1-696x348.jpeg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure></div>

<p>The Galaxy S23 Ultra is believed to sport a tall 6.8 inch AMOLED display. This panel will reportedly feature a QHD+ (3,088 x 1,440) resolution with a dynamic refresh rate that can go from high 120Hz to even as low as 1Hz thanks to its LTPO technology. The Galaxy S23 Ultra&#8217;s display is one of its notable aspects and is rumored to offer a high 2,000 nits of peak brightness, which is more than the 1,750 nits offered by its predecessor. This panel will also come with Corning&#8217;s Gorilla Glass Victus 2.</p>

<h4>Specifications</h4>

<p>Being a 2023 flagship smartphone, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will be equipped with Qualcomm&#8217;s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This processor will be paired with either 8GB or 12GB of RAM and 256GB, 512GB, or 1TB of internal storage. The South Korean tech giant typically released its popular Galaxy S series of flagship smartphones in two variants. One version housed the Qualcomm Snapdragon chipset for the US and South Korean market, while the rest of the world usually arrived with its proprietary Exynos SoC. However, it appears that the brand will only release the device in a single Snapdragon only version.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="768" height="384" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_4-768x384-1.jpeg?x44794" alt="Samsung" class="wp-image-511631" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_4-768x384-1.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_4-768x384-1-300x150.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_4-768x384-1-696x348.jpeg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure></div>

<p>According to various leaks, the handset will be powered by a large 5,000mAh battery pack that supports up to 45W wired fast charging, 10W wireless charging, and even support reverse wireless charging as well. Although, it is odd considering that the wireless charging rate appears to have fallen from 15W that was supported on the Galaxy S22 Ultra. Other notable features include under display ultrasonic fingerprint scanner, Bluetooth 5.3, Wi-Fi6E, UWB, and even NFC support. The Galaxy S23 Ultra will also run on Android 13 OS based One UI 5.1 out of the box. </p>

<h4>Camera</h4>

<p>Apart from the display, the company is also placing a heavy emphasis on improving the photography capabilities of its upcoming flagship phone. The upgrades is related to the zoom lens, which will apparently offer improved quality, while other rumors also claiming that low light performance will also greatly improve on the primary sensor. For those unaware, the Galaxy S23 Ultra will feature a quad camera setup. The primary shooter is a large 200 megapixel ISOCELL HP2 sensor that is capable of recording up to 8K resolutions at 30fps and supports OIS. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full"><img loading="lazy" width="768" height="384" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_3-768x384-1.jpeg?x44794" alt="Samsung" class="wp-image-511630" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_3-768x384-1.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_3-768x384-1-300x150.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2023/01/S23_SERIES_PROMO_3-768x384-1-696x348.jpeg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 768px) 100vw, 768px" /></figure></div>

<p>This sensor is paired with a 12 megapixel ultra wife angle lens that has an f/1.4 aperture and 120 degree FOV, a 10 megapixel telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom, f/2.4 aperture, and OIS support, and lastly another 10 megapixel periscope telephoto lens that offers up to 10x optical zoom, f/4.9 aperture, while also supporting OIS. On the other hand, the front will like house a 12 megapixel selfie camera that supports HDR.</p>

<h4>Expected Pricing</h4>

<p>The supposed price tag of the Galaxy S23 series was just recently leaked for the European market. This information revealed that the pricing for the 8GB+256GB and 12GB+512GB variant of the Galaxy S23 Ultra. The former will apparently cost around 1,409 EUR (roughly 1,532 US Dollars) while the latter will be available for a hefty 1,589 EUR (roughly 1,728 US Dollars). </p>

<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/motorola/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Motorola </a>is gearing up to launch the new <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/motorola-moto-x40/" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Moto X40</a> in the Chinese market soon. The device is the company&#8217;s next generation of flagship smartphone. There have already been a number of leaks and reports regarding this handset ahead of its December 15 launch, so here&#8217;s a roundup of all specs, features, and design of the X40.</p>

<h4>Design &amp; Display</h4>

<p>The Moto X40&#8217;s design had recently been revealed via leaked renders. On the front, the device has a curved display with a punch hole camera on the top center. Meanwhile, the rear features a triple camera module on the top left corner. As per the leak, the device is said to measure 161.3 x 73.9 x 8.5 and weighs around 196 grams. The premium grade handset also features a metallic frame. This device is expected to sport a 10 bit 6.67 inch curved OLED display that has a Full HD+ resolution and supports 144Hz or even 165Hz refresh rate as well.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak.jpg?x44794" alt="Motorola" class="wp-image-501694" width="619" height="526" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak.jpg 723w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-300x255.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-696x591.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-495x420.jpg 495w" sizes="(max-width: 619px) 100vw, 619px" /></figure></div>

<h4>Specifications</h4>

<p>Under the hood, the Motorola X40 is expected to be equipped with Qualcomm&#8217;s latest and greatest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC. This high end processor will likely be paired with 8GB, 12GB, or possibly even 18GB of LPDDR5X RAM. For storage, we can expect the base model to start from 128GB and go up to either 256GB or even 512GB of UFS 3.1 storage. The device will run on Android 13 OS based MyUI 5.0 custom skin. Other features include, USB Type C, stereo speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, dual band 5G, NFC, and even IP68 water and dust resistance rating.</p>

<p>Interestingly, the Moto X40 was spotted on 3C and TENAA with a 4,600mAh and a 5,000mAh battery pack. However, the former has an impressive 125W fast charging while the latter supports a slower 68W fast charging rate. This means that there is a possibility that the Moto X40 Pro might also be announced during the launch event, or could even be released sometime after the X40. It is also possible that one variant could just be a special edition or the global version for the X40 that might be dubbed as the Moto Edge 40 Pro.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-1-1.jpg?x44794" alt="Motorola" class="wp-image-501697" width="612" height="504" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-1-1.jpg 732w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-1-1-300x247.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-1-1-696x573.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/12/moto-x40-Pro-render-leak-1-1-510x420.jpg 510w" sizes="(max-width: 612px) 100vw, 612px" /></figure></div>

<h4>Camera</h4>

<p>Lastly, the Motorola X40 is set to launch with a triple camera setup on the rear. It features a 50 megapixel primary sensor that will be paired with a 50 megapixel ultra wide angle lens and a 12 megapixel telephoto shooter that offers 2x optical zoom as well. </p>

<p>This is all the information we have regarding this device at the moment, so stick around for more as we will be covering any additional reports or rumors that surface in the days before the Moto X40 release.</p>

The lineup consists of three new models, namely Reno 9, Reno 9 Pro, and Reno 9 Pro+. So here&#8217;s a rumor roundup regarding these three phones.</p>

<h2><strong>Oppo Reno 9</strong></h2>

<p>Talking about the design first, the Reno 9 series will feature a design similar to the Reno 8 series. Although the overall design still features some differences. The Reno 9 still features a sleek design with the sides possibly having a metallic frame and the rear appearing to have a glass body. But since the base Reno 8 had a plastic frame and rear, it might feature the same materials. The rear will feature a dual camera setup, which consists of a 64 megapixel primary and 2 megapixel depth sensor. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-5G-768x768-1.png?x44794" alt="Oppo" class="wp-image-497195" width="509" height="509" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-5G-768x768-1.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-5G-768x768-1-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-5G-768x768-1-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-5G-768x768-1-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-5G-768x768-1-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 509px) 100vw, 509px" /></figure></div>

<p>On the front, the Reno 9 is expected to sport a 6.7 inch OLED display that has a FHD+ resolution and a high 120Hz refresh rate. This screen will also have a center aligned punch hole cutout for the 32 megapixel selfie camera on the top and an under display fingerprint scanner for security. Under the hood, the smartphone is expected to feature a Snapdragon 778G+ SoC and it could be powered by a 4,500mAh battery that supports 67W fast charging. The Reno 9 is expected to be offered in three storage configurations, namely 8 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, 12 GB RAM + 256 GB storage, and 12 GB RAM + 512 GB.</p>

<h2><strong>Reno 9 Pro</strong></h2>

<p>Moving ahead with the higher end variants, the Reno 9 Pro sits in the middle of the Reno 9 lineup and offers some improvements in specs. However, the smartphone is still pretty similar to the base model in terms of design. This model will likely feature an aluminum frame and a glass back just like its predecessor, while the front will have a 6.7 inch OLED display that also offers FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, and possibly an HDR10+ rating as well. The front also houses a punch hole cutout for the 32 megapixel selfie camera.</p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-Pro-5G-768x768-1.png?x44794" alt="Oppo" class="wp-image-497194" width="573" height="573" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-Pro-5G-768x768-1.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-Pro-5G-768x768-1-300x300.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-Pro-5G-768x768-1-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-Pro-5G-768x768-1-696x696.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-Pro-5G-768x768-1-420x420.png 420w" sizes="(max-width: 573px) 100vw, 573px" /></figure></div>

<p>Meanwhile, the rear also packs a dual camera setup, which consists of a 50 megapixel Sony IM890 primary sensor paired with an 8 megapixel ultra wide angle lens. The &#8220;Powered by MariSilicon” can also be seen etched on the camera module of this phone. Under the hood, the Oppo Reno 9 Pro will feature a more powerful MediaTek Dimensity 8100 MAX that will be paired with up to 16GB of RAM with either 256GB or 512GB of internal storage. This model is also expected to be powered by a 4,500mAh battery pack that will support 67W fast charging.</p>

<h2><strong>Reno 9 Pro+</strong></h2>

<p>The Reno 9 Pro+ is the top end model from the upcoming Oppo Reno 9 series. Similar to the first two models, the most premium phone in the series also feature a similar design with an aluminum frame and glass rear panel. However, a key difference in design is the addition of another sensor on the rear camera module. The Reno 9 Pro+ is set to feature a triple camera setup on the rear, which consists of a 50 megapixel Sony IMX890 primary sensor that supports OIS along with an 8 megapixel telephoto lens, and another 2 megapixel shooter. </p>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-full is-resized"><img loading="lazy" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/11/OPPO-Reno-9-Pro-Plus-5G-768x768-1.png?x44794" alt="Oppo" class="wp-image-497193" width="489" height="489" /></figure></div>

<p>The front will feature a 32 megapixel camera, just like the rest of the phones in the Reno 9 series. On the front, the device will also sport a tall 6.7 inch OLED panel that has a FHD+ resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, curved edges, an under display fingerprint scanner, and possibly the HDR10+ rating as well. Under the hood, this model will feature Qualcomm&#8217;s current flagship chipset, the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 Soc that will also be paired with up to 16GB of RAM and up to 512GB of internal storage.</p>

So let&#8217;s have a look at its specs, design, pricing, and more.</p>
<h4>Design</h4>
<p>Over the last couple of weeks, the design of the Pixel Watch has been completely revealed. The upcoming smartwatch from the Search engine giant will have a circular display panel, along with a digital crown on the right side. During the I/O event, we can see the Pixel Watch will arrive in at least one silver option, although, there are also rumors for a black and gold color variant.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-488869 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100604.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel Watch" width="865" height="587" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100604.jpg 865w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100604-300x204.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100604-768x521.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100604-696x472.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100604-619x420.jpg 619w" sizes="(max-width: 865px) 100vw, 865px" /></p>
<p>The smartwatch appears to have a minimalistic design alongside interchangeable bands that would offer the users more customization. As per rumors, there will be several different straps like a link bracelet, fabric band, and even two kinds of leather straps, silicone brands, Milanese style mesh band and a stretchable band as well.</p>
<h4>Specs &amp; Features</h4>
<p>While the outer appearance and design has been officially teased, Google has yet to reveal any finer details regarding the internal hardware of the Pixel Watch. Based on what we know so far, the smartwatch will have the same sensor as the Samsung Galaxy Watch 4. In other words, it will have the same &#8216;BioActive Sensor&#8217; that is capable of monitoring the heart rate, ECG, and even body fat percentage. Another report claims, that the health sensors will also be capable of reading SpO2 blood oxygen mapping as well.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-488820 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/google-pixel-watch-marketing-material-and-new-details-leaked-ahead-of-launch-670.jpg?x44794" alt="google-pixel-watch-marketing-material" width="800" height="772" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/google-pixel-watch-marketing-material-and-new-details-leaked-ahead-of-launch-670.jpg 800w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/google-pixel-watch-marketing-material-and-new-details-leaked-ahead-of-launch-670-300x290.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/google-pixel-watch-marketing-material-and-new-details-leaked-ahead-of-launch-670-768x741.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/google-pixel-watch-marketing-material-and-new-details-leaked-ahead-of-launch-670-696x672.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/google-pixel-watch-marketing-material-and-new-details-leaked-ahead-of-launch-670-435x420.jpg 435w" sizes="(max-width: 800px) 100vw, 800px" /></p>
<p>It is rumored that the Pixel Watch will be equipped with a 10nm Exynos 9110 chipset, however, there is also possible that the device houses a Snapdragon W5+ and W5 chipsets. Apart from this, the new smartwatch is expected to have 1.5GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. Under the hood, a 300mAh battery pack will reportedly power the device, which should offer the same battery life as the Apple Watch, which is 18 hours.</p>
<p>Google will launch the Pixel Watch with its own Wear OS platform, which has even powered smartwatches from the likes of TicWatch and Fossil as well. With this operating system, we can also expect Google Fit, Photos, GPay, and even Play Store for smartwatches. Being a modern day smartwatch, we can safely assume that the device will offer physical activity tracking with dedicated sports modes built in, and even other fitness tracking features.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-488870 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100743.jpg?x44794" alt="Google Pixel Watch" width="371" height="604" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100743.jpg 556w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100743-184x300.jpg 184w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/10/Screenshot-2022-10-03-100743-258x420.jpg 258w" sizes="(max-width: 371px) 100vw, 371px" /></p>
<h4>Pricing</h4>
<p>The pricing for the Pixel Watch has been rumored in various different reports. Prior to the launch event, an online listing found that the Pixel Watch may have a price tag of 349 US Dollars for it GPS + Bluetooth only variant. Meanwhile, the LTE enabled version will supposedly cost 399 US Dollars. With a price tag like this, the Pixel Watch is Google&#8217;s flagship smartwatch model that will rival the likes of Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and Apple Watch Series 8.</p>

<h4>Design and Display</h4>
<p>The South Korean tech giant&#8217;s latest flagship series, the Galaxy S22 series, apparently does not feature any major redesign over its predecessor. Although, this still means that it will likely have a premium build. The base <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s22-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S22</a> will feature a 6.1 inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display that has a 1080 x 2400 pixels resolution (FHD+). Meanwhile, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s22-plus-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S22+</a> and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-s22-ultra-5g/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Galaxy S22 Ultra</a> models are rumored to sport a larger 6.6 inch and 6.8 inch screens respectively. These panels are also AMOLED 2X displays, although, the Ultra variant is expected to offer a higher 1440 x 3200 pixels resolution (QHD+).</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-439812 " src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak.jpeg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra Bronze Leak" width="555" height="577" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak.jpeg 1155w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak-289x300.jpeg 289w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak-768x798.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak-986x1024.jpeg 986w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak-696x723.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak-1068x1110.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-Bronze-Leak-404x420.jpeg 404w" sizes="(max-width: 555px) 100vw, 555px" /></p>
<p>Similar to the last generation models, the new launches would also include at least 120Hz variable refresh rate support as well. Notably, the Galaxy S22 Ultra variant will be slightly more defined this year. By this we mean that its design will stand out from the vanilla and Plus models. It has straight edge corners similar to the classic Note series, along with support for <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/s-pen/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">S Pen</a> stylus that will be housed within the smartphone&#8217;s body. The model will also no longer be featuring the large camera island module, rather, the lenses protrude directly from the rear panel.</p>
<h4>Cameras</h4>
<p>Talking about the Galaxy S22 and S22+ first, the two models feature a triple camera module on the rear. This comprises of a 50 megapixel primary sensor, paired with a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 10 megapixel telephoto sensor that offers at least 3x optical zoom. On the front, both smartphones will also feature a 10 megapixel selfie camera housed in a punch hole cutout.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-439169 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra" width="521" height="532" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic.jpg 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic-293x300.jpg 293w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic-768x785.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic-1002x1024.jpg 1002w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic-356x364.jpg 356w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic-696x711.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic-1068x1092.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Ultra-infographic-411x420.jpg 411w" sizes="(max-width: 521px) 100vw, 521px" /></p>
<p>Arriving at the high end version, the Galaxy S22 Ultra will house a 108 megapixel Super Clear lens with OIS support. Furthermore, it also features a 10 megapixel telephoto lens with 3x zoom and another 10 megapixel telephoto sensor with 10x zoom. The last sensor is a 12MP ultra wide camera. The selfie camera on this model is a 40 megapixel sensor, which is also housed in a punch hole cutout.</p>
<h4>Specifications</h4>
<p>Being a premium grade flagship series, the Galaxy S22 series is set to feature Qualcomm&#8217;s latest and greatest<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-8-gen-1/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer"> Snapdragon 8 Gen 1</a> SoC or its in house <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/exynos-2200" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Exynos 2200</a> chipset. Although, the availability between the two chip variants depends on the market. For memory, the base and Plus model may start with 8GB of RAM, reportedly reaching up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM. Storage configurations may include a 128GB and 256GB variants. Similarly, the Ultra will also arrive in the same RAM and storage configurations, but its capacity is believed to top out at 512GB.</p>
<p><figure id="attachment_439817" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-439817" style="width: 491px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-439817" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Plus-Black-Leak.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy S22 Plus Black Leak" width="491" height="643" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Plus-Black-Leak.jpg 916w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Plus-Black-Leak-229x300.jpg 229w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Plus-Black-Leak-768x1006.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Plus-Black-Leak-782x1024.jpg 782w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Plus-Black-Leak-696x912.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2022/01/Samsung-Galaxy-S22-Plus-Black-Leak-321x420.jpg 321w" sizes="(max-width: 491px) 100vw, 491px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-439817" class="wp-caption-text">Galaxy S22 Plus (Black)</figcaption></figure></p>
<p>Under the hood, a large 5,000mAh battery pack powers the Galaxy S22 Ultra, while the Galaxy S22 has a 3,700mAh battery capacity and the Plus model is houses a 4,500mAh battery pack. As per <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2022/01/28/samsung-galaxy-s22-s22-s22-ultra-charging-speeds-revealed/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">our recent report</a>, the base model will only support 25W fast charging rates. The Galaxy S22+ and Galaxy S22 Ultra will apparently offer 45W fast charging support. All models are expected to support wireless charging as well. In terms of software, the devices will likely run on <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-12/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Android 12</a> based <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/one-ui-4/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">OneUI 4</a>.</p>

The higher end Galaxy S22+ is rumored to be priced at 1,099 US Dollars, with the Ultra arriving with an expensive 1,299 US Dollars price tag. Samsung is set to unveil these new smartphones during its Galaxy Unpacked launch event next month. <p><figure id="attachment_432902" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-432902" style="width: 1269px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="wp-image-432902 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1.jpeg?x44794" alt="Lenovo" width="1269" height="846" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1.jpeg 1269w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1-300x200.jpeg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1-768x512.jpeg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1-1024x683.jpeg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1-696x464.jpeg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1-1068x712.jpeg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/lenovo-savior-y90-render-by-it-home-1-630x420.jpeg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1269px) 100vw, 1269px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-432902" class="wp-caption-text">Legion Y90 render by ITHome</figcaption></figure></p>
<h4>Design</h4>
<p>Since the upcoming Legion Y90 is a gaming smartphone, the Chinese smartphone maker has placed an emphasis on its design, especially in regards to its thermal management system. The company has previously teased its <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/12/24/lenovo-legion-y90-to-come-with-a-144hz-display-and-have-double-engine-air-cooling-technology/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Double Engine Air Cooling technology</a>, which it claims will help keep the device&#8217;s temperature in check despite playing intensive multiplayer games at high framerates. While the device looks like any other modern smartphone from the front, the rear panel would likely feature a gaming aesthetic with the &#8220;Legion&#8221; branding and physical fans as well, for its air cooling mechanism.</p>
<h4>Specifications &amp; Display</h4>
<p>Under the hood, the device is expected to feature a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-888/" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Qualcomm Snapdragon 888</a> chipset, which will be paired with LPDDR5 RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Arriving at its display, Lenovo has officially revealed that the Legion Y90 will feature a large AMOLED display that measures 6.92 inches. The panel is a Samsung E4 AMOLED screen that supports a 144Hz refresh rate and a 720Hz touch sampling rate. One of its highlighting features will be the anti blue display and HDR support. The screen will have an anti blue light eye protection certification ensuring that it lowers the blue light getting emitted from the screen.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class=" wp-image-432978 aligncenter" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90.jpg?x44794" alt="Lenovo Legion Y90" width="575" height="1060" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90.jpg 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90-163x300.jpg 163w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90-768x1416.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90-555x1024.jpg 555w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90-696x1283.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90-1068x1969.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/12/Lenovo-Legion-Y90-228x420.jpg 228w" sizes="(max-width: 575px) 100vw, 575px" /></p>

In terms of aesthetics, it will be less futuristic, but it will supposedly carry a more interesting price tag. Thanks to leaks surfaced in the last weeks, we know almost everything about the new flagship ahead of the launch. Here is all you need to know about its specifications, launch, availability, and price.</p>
<h2><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-278412" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Oppo-Reno-Ace-RUMORED.png?x44794" alt="Oppo Reno Ace" width="414" height="414" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Oppo-Reno-Ace-RUMORED.png 414w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Oppo-Reno-Ace-RUMORED-150x150.png 150w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2019/09/Oppo-Reno-Ace-RUMORED-300x300.png 300w" sizes="(max-width: 414px) 100vw, 414px" /></h2>
<h2>Oppo Reno Ace Specifications</h2>
<h3>Design</h3>
<p>Oppo Reno Ace will boast a premium and elegant design, but it will not be aesthetically innovative like its siblings Reno and Reno 10x zoom. It will sport a classic bezel-less display with a thicker lower bezel and a waterdrop notch, a glass back available in gradient colors and an aluminum frame. Nothing more and nothing less than a typical high-end device. It will have a power button on the right side and two volume buttons on the left. The rear cover will house a quad camera module and a dual LED flash. There will be at least two color variants: Electroacoustic Violet and Interstellar Blue. According to Oppo&#8217;s VP Shen Yiren (implicit) declarations, Reno Ace will also be launched in a special GUNDAM edition.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>The <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/oppo-reno-ace">Oppo Reno Ace</a> will come with an exciting new feature borrowed from OnePlus 7 Pro: a 90 Hz refresh rate for the display, which will provide a smoother viewing experience and will be useful especially for gamers. There should even be a 135 Hz touch sampling rate for a more responsive touch screen. The display of the Oppo Reno Ace will sport a 6.5-inch diagonal and a Full HD+ resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. It will be an AMOLED panel and it will integrate an in-display fingerprint scanner.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Hardware &amp; Software</h3>
<p>Oppo Reno Ace will be powered by the most powerful Qualcomm&#8217;s chipset: the Snapdragon 855+. It offers 15 percent better graphics performance compared with its predecessor Snapdragon 855 as well as a higher clock frequency: 2.96 GHz against 2.84 GHz. The SoC will be paired with up to 12 GB of RAM depending on the memory configuration and up to 256 GB of UFS 3.0 native storage. It will be possible to furtherly expand the internal storage through a micro SD. Given the current software development of the Chinese company, the Reno Ace may still be based on Android 9 Pie, customized by ColorOS 6.1. But the company is currently working hard to develop ColorOS 7 based on Android 10, so an update may hit the handset soon. The handset was recently spotted on TENAA, so you can <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/09/23/oppo-reno2-f-tenaa-listing-appears-debuting-with-reno-ace-in-china/">learn more here</a>.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Camera</h3>
<p>As mentioned above, the rear camera department of the Oppo Reno Ace will include four sensors. The main sensor will be a Sony IMX586 with a 48 MP resolution, optical stabilization and an f/1.7 aperture, then there will be a 13 MP telephoto lens with an f/2.4 focal aperture. The third sensor will be an 8 MP ultrawide lens with f/2.2 aperture, while the fourth and last one will be a 2 MP depth sensor. On the front side, there will be a 16 Megapixel snapper selfies carrying an f/2.0 aperture.</p>
<h3></h3>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>Oppo Reno Ace is expected to be equipped with a satisfying 4000 mAh battery which will support a very fast charging technology. We are talking about the Super VOOC flash charge with a power of 65W. Thanks to this technology that is one of the most advanced ones, the Oppo Reno Ace will fully charge in just around 25 minutes. The 65W fast charging technology would currently be the higher on the market, given that the fastest one is actually the 44W fast charging technology found on the Vivo NEX 3. Indeed, despite Vivo and Xiaomi already announced an astonishing 120W fast charging technology, it is still not in mass production.</p>

</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h2>Oppo Reno Ace &#8211; Launch date, price, and availability</h2>
<p>Oppo Reno Ace will be officially unveiled on October 10 in China. And it will probably remain exclusive for the Asian market since Europe will get the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/realme-x2-pro">Realme X2 Pro</a> which is a very similar flagship. Unfortunately, we do not have any info about pricing, but given its specifications, we believe it will carry a very interesting price tag, just like the Realme X2 Pro.</p>
