The smartphone, touted to be the first mobile phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 Advanced Edition and 24GB of RAM, has a starting price of 3,999 yuan, which roughly converts to $553.

The Red Magic 8S Pro base model with 8GB RAM and 128GB of internal storage costs 3,999 yuan, while the top-end model with 12GB RAM and 512GB of internal storage is priced at 5,699 yuan.

On the other hand, the Red Magic 8S Pro+ starts at 5,499 yuan for 16GB RAM and 256GB storage, and it goes up to 7,499 yuan for the top-end model with 24GB of RAM and 1TB of storage.

The smartphone features a 6.8-inch 120Hz AMOLED FHD+ display, offering a 960Hz touch sampling rate, peak brightness of 1300nits, 10-bit color depth, 100% DCI-P3 color gamut, and 93.7% screen-to-body ratio. The Redmi Note 12R goes on sale in China today (i.e., 30th June) for the starting price of 1,099 yuan, roughly converting to $152.
