Samsung will launch the Galaxy A07 5G in India during the first week of February, replacing last year’s Galaxy A06 5G model.

The phone was recently released in a few markets, confirming its specifications. The Galaxy A07 5G features a 6.7-inch display with a 120Hz refresh rate and 800-nit peak brightness for outdoor use. MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset powers the phone, running One UI 8.0 out of the box.

The standout feature is Samsung’s software commitment: six Android OS upgrades and six years of security updates. This extended support is rare in the budget segment and significantly extends the phone’s usable lifespan.

A 6,000mAh battery provides power for extended use. The rear camera array consists of a 50MP main sensor paired with a 2MP depth sensor, while an 8MP front camera handles selfies and video calls.

The Galaxy A07 5G includes an IP54 rating for dust and water resistance, protecting against splashes and particles. Samsung Knox Vault provides hardware-level security for sensitive data.

Google’s AI features come integrated: Gemini assistant, Circle to Search functionality, and Gemini Live with natural language processing. These additions bring flagship AI capabilities to the budget tier. Construction uses glass fiber reinforced polymer, keeping the 8.2mm-thick body at 199 grams despite the large battery.

Samsung has not yet revealed pricing details or an exact launch date for the first week of February. The phone has already launched in the Philippines, where it is available in two storage variants: a 64GB model priced at Php 8,290 (INR 12,931) and a 128GB option priced at Php 9,990 (INR 15,583).

The Galaxy A57 is said to be powered by the upcoming Exynos 1680 chipset paired with the Samsung Xclipse 550 GPU. This marks a shift towards a newer mid-range platform, though Samsung is yet to formally introduce the processor. The phone is expected to run Android 16 out of the box, following the software direction seen across Samsung’s current portfolio.

While other specifications remain unconfirmed, leaks suggest the company intends to bring the A57 to market earlier than the A56, with February 2026 currently appearing likely.

Samsung Galaxy A37 5G

The Galaxy A37 may also see an earlier debut in February alongside the A57, moving up from the usual March or April window. According to the leak, the device will feature the Exynos 1480 chipset along with the Xclipse 530 GPU, the same combination used in several mid-range Samsung devices this year. The A37 is also expected to ship with Android 16. Details regarding its camera configuration, display and battery remain unknown, although more information is expected as the launch window approaches.

Samsung Galaxy A07 5G

Ahead of the mid-range models, the Galaxy A07 5G could be the first to arrive, with a launch expected either later this month or in early January 2026. This follows the release of the Galaxy A07 4G, which entered India earlier at Rs 8,999. Hardware specifics for the new 5G variant have not yet surfaced, but it is positioned as a budget offering and may serve as Samsung’s most affordable 5G phone in its early 2026 lineup.
