Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy A13 5G soon as it has already passed multiple certifications. Now, news broke that the 4G variant of the same device may also launch soon as the company has started the initial production for the phone. In fact, a piece of news touts that Samsung has started the production for the Samsung Galaxy A13 4G in India itself.

According to 91Mobiles, Samsung has begun the production of the 4G units in its Greater Noida factory in India. Rumors are rife that the phone will come with a plastic body featuring a glossy finish. Unlike the upcoming 5G version, the 4G version will have a quadruple camera system placed vertically at the back.

The smartphone will come with a USB Type-C port for charging, which hints for a fast charging support on the phone. And, it will have a 3.5mm headphone jack and a speaker grille at the bottom. It will have the power button and the volume rocker on the right spine.

Apart from this, there’s no other information about the device but since the device has made it to the leaks, we expect the renders of the 4G version to appear soon.

Samsung Galaxy A13 5G Specifications(Expected)

In related news, the Samsung Galaxy A13 5G is slated to launch soon in select markets. Recently the smartphone passed multiple certifications andit was learned that it will be come powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 700 SoC. It will be pairedwith a 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of onboard storage.

The device is expected to feature a 6.48-inch LCD display with an FHD+ resolution. It will come equipped with a triple camera system with a 50MP primary lens, a 5MP ultra-wide sensor, and a 2MP depth sensing lens. Under the roof, it will house a 5,000mAh battery with a support for 25W fast charging technology.

An authoritative platform for Samsung Galaxy products, the GalaxyClub has hinted that the Galaxy A13 will come in four colors. This detail is believed to include both the 4G and 5G models of the Galaxy A13. The A13 will join the Galaxy A33 5G and the A53 in having these colors. The models will have a standard palette of four colors: black, blue, white, and orange. GalaxyClub also provided some renders to reflect the color combinations for the new models.

The A13 5G is the first 5G model introduced into the A10 series. As per previous leaks, the A13 5G will have a 50MP main camera and a 5,000 mAh battery. It is an improvement in some aspects over the A12, which had 48MP main cameras and similar battery capacity. The fast-charging capacity of the new models is not fully known, although the Galaxy A12 boasts 15W charging. The battery and camera ratings could apply to the 4G model as well.

The 5G models will be powered by high-end chipsets (possibly Dimensity 700 for the A13 5G), while a less powerful chip will be used for the 4G version. These models are slated for an early 2022 release and will be fairly priced, probably below the $250 threshold. No word from Samsung yet on these details at this time.
