Earlier this year, Samsung launched the Galaxy A33 5G smartphone in the Indian market. Its predecessor, the Galaxy A32, has now received a price cut in the country. So, let’s take a look at the details.

Samsung Galaxy A32 new prices

The Samsung Galaxy A32 is available in two configurations. The 6GB RAM + 128GB storage model was priced at Rs 24,999, and the 8GB RAM + 128GB of storage model was priced at Rs 27,999. After the price cuts, these models cost Rs 18,899 and Rs 18,870 on Amazon India.

Customers can also trade in their older smartphones to avail further discounts of up to 12,400.

Samsung Galaxy A32

The Samsung Galaxy A32 4G has a 6.4-inch Super AMOLED FHD+ Infinity-U display with a resolution of 2400 x 1080 pixels, a refresh rate of 90 hertz, a brightness of 800 nits, and SGS certification for reduced blue light.

The phone has a MediaTek Helio G80 CPU inside, along with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. The storage can be increased by up to 1 TB using the microSD card slot.

On the back of the device are four cameras: a 64MP f/1.8 main lens, an 8MP f/2.2 123-degree ultra-wide lens, and two f/2.4 5MP macro and depth sensors. You get a 20MP f/2.2 selfie camera up front.

In addition, the device has a 5,000mAh battery with 15W charging, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack connections, an in-display fingerprint sensor, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 5GHz, Bluetooth 5.0, GPS, Samsung’s Knox Security, AltZLife, and One UI 4.1 based on Android 12.

Last month, Samsung released the Android 12 update for the Galaxy A32 5G smartphone. And now, the company is treating the 4G sibling with the Android 12 based One UI 4.1 in the latest update.

According to a SamMobiles report, the Galaxy A32 4G’s latest update with firmware version A325FXXU2BVD6 brings the April 2022 patch that fixes over 80 privacy and security vulnerabilities discovered in Samsung and Google software. The update also bundles bug fixes, performance improvements, and device stability for the Samsung Galaxy A32 5G.

The One UI 4.1 offers a revamped design with a color palette and an improved general outlook. Other than the changes in looks and feel, it also brings multiple new features like a dedicated Privacy Dashboard, privacy indicators for active camera, and mic usage status, improvements to the Gallery App, and much more. The update is currently available in India and other regions are also expected to receive it soon. If you live in India and the OTA update has not arrived yet, you can manually check for it by navigating to Settings » Software update and tapping on Download and install.

Samsung Galaxy A32 4G will go on sale in India from March 5. Now, ahead of the sale, the company has revealed the official price of the device.

As said by Ishan, the official listing of the Samsung Galaxy A32 4G shows that it will sell for Rs.21,999($300). This is for the 6GB RAM, 128GB storage variant(SM-A325F). Thanks to the listing we also know that the device comes in four colors- Awesome Violet, Awesome Black, Awesome Blue, and Awesome White options.

Samsung India website shows that the devices have offers like ₹1,000 cashback on Paytm wallet(1st transaction) and EMI options.

To compare,  the pricing in Russia is RUB 21,990 (~$295) but that is for the 4GB/128GB variant and not 6GB RAM.
