The model number was also revealed to be SM-A528B. Now, a new Samsung Galaxy model bearing the same model number Samsung SM-A528B has appeared on GeekBench database.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A52-Awesome-Black-Featured.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-377958" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A52-Awesome-Black-Featured.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy A52 Awesome Black Featured" width="1000" height="667" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A52-Awesome-Black-Featured.jpg 1000w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A52-Awesome-Black-Featured-300x200.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A52-Awesome-Black-Featured-768x512.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A52-Awesome-Black-Featured-696x464.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/03/Samsung-Galaxy-A52-Awesome-Black-Featured-630x420.jpg 630w" sizes="(max-width: 1000px) 100vw, 1000px" /></a></p>
<p>The GeekBench listing shows that the device will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G processor which is the same chipset utilised by the upcoming <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/06/29/samsung-galaxy-m52-5g-likely-to-feature-the-snapdragon-778g/">Galaxy M52</a>. The benchmark test shows that the Snapdragon 778G has a superior performance over the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/10/samsung-galaxy-a52-5g-with-snapdragon-750g-gets-benchmarked-on-geekbench/">Snapdragon 750G</a> used on the well-received Galaxy A52 5G.</p>
<p>The device recorded a score of 771 on the singlecore test while the multicore test score is 2788,  just a little lower than the performance of the Exynos 2100 onboard the flagship <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/07/galaxy-s21-series-thailand-pre-order-offer/">Galaxy S21 series</a>.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/samsung-galaxy-a52s-specs-sm-a528b-geekbench.jpg?x44794"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-402033" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/samsung-galaxy-a52s-specs-sm-a528b-geekbench.jpg?x44794" alt="Samsung Galaxy A52s GeekBench" width="666" height="1024" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/samsung-galaxy-a52s-specs-sm-a528b-geekbench.jpg 666w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/samsung-galaxy-a52s-specs-sm-a528b-geekbench-195x300.jpg 195w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/07/samsung-galaxy-a52s-specs-sm-a528b-geekbench-273x420.jpg 273w" sizes="(max-width: 666px) 100vw, 666px" /></a></p>
<p>Further, the GeekBench listing shows that the Galaxy A52s will have up to 8GB RAM. There will likely be other RAM sizes just like the Galaxy A52 features a 6GB RAM version. The device will also run on Android 11 out-of-the-box but will likely get upgraded to Android 12 next year.</p>
<p>The Galaxy A52s is also rumoured to come in three colour options: black, white, and light green but there could be more. There is no word yet on the launch date though, but we expect the launch to happen later in the year.</p>
