Samsung has started to pick up the pace with its One UI 6 beta program. The flagship Galaxy S23 series has already received the One UI 6 beta 2 update last month, with reports about beta 3 also making rounds. Now, it seems Samsung is shifting its attention to the A series as Galaxy A54 has been added to the One UI 6 beta program.

Samsung Galaxy A54 users now have the opportunity to experience the One UI 6 beta version ahead of its official stable release. To participate in this program, interested users can simply enroll through the Samsung Members app on their Galaxy A54 devices. Once their application is accepted, they can proceed to install the One UI 6.0 beta update by navigating to the “Settings” menu and selecting “Software update.”

While the One UI 6.0 beta update is currently accessible in South Korea, it is expected to roll out to other markets in the near future. Since it is a build, users may face bugs and issues that might affect their usage. It is not recommended to install the beta update on your daily driver. In case you do, don’t forget to backup your existing data.

The One UI 6.0 Beta update includes a number of changes, including bug fixes and improvements. Samsung Health has been significantly enhanced, in line with the trend of One UI Watch 5.0. The Home screen of the app has been redesigned, and users can now customize their water cup settings. There are three vertically stacked protruding camera sensors. 

Samsung has not revealed the exact availability of the Galaxy A54 Awesome White color option. It is already listed on the brand’s official website in the country but it is listed out of stock. The Awesome White color variant is expected to cost the same as the other models which cost Rs 38,999 for the 8GB + 128GB configuration and Rs 40,999 for the 8GB + 256GB option.

Reports suggest that the phone will offer a maximum of 8GB RAM and 256GB internal storage. The phone will be powered by a 5,000mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging and is anticipated to have an IP67 rating, providing dust and water resistance. Along with dual SIM functionality, the device will feature NFC, OTG, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. It will run on OneUI 5.0, which is based on Android 13.

Camera

The main camera cluster will have a total of three units. First, there will be a 50MP primary sensor on the back with support for OIS. This replaces the 64MP primary camera on the Galaxy A53. According to undisclosed sources, the Galaxy A34 5G is rumored to come in two storage variations, with 6GB and 128GB and 8GB and 256GB respectively. The estimated cost for the 128GB model is between EUR 410 to EUR 430, while the 256GB option is expected to be priced between EUR 470 to EUR 490. The Galaxy A54 5G, on the other hand, is expected to be offered in two storage options as well: 8GB and 128GB or 8GB and 256GB.
