It seems that Samsung’s Galaxy A-series phones are getting closer to launch. The upcoming offerings are none other than the Galaxy A55 5G and Galaxy A35 5G. Both phones were spotted in official-looking renders last week. Now, the official accessories of the Galaxy A devices have been leaked. These include back cases, screen protectors, and even a standing grip case. Read on to know more details. 

Samsung Galaxy A55 5G, A35 5G leaked accessories

We already know that the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G will be offered in Awesome Iceblue, Awesome Lilac, and Awesome Navy color options. As per the report, the upcoming devices will get an official Smart View Wallet case as well as a Silicone case. The former has a rectangular cutout at the top right on the front side for viewing information like date and time. It also has a pocket inside to conveniently store any cards or cash. 

The Smart View Wallet case will come in Black, Purple, and White colors whereas the Silicone case will be available in Black, Lime, and Light Blue colors for both Galaxy A-series phones. Both cases offer protection to the device from all sides against accidental bumps and drops. Additionally, Samsung will also provide a transparent and semi-transparent case for both devices. 

The South Korean brand will also reportedly offer a two-piece screen protector for the upcoming Galaxy A55 5G and A35 5G. The report also reveals that the Galaxy A55 5G will get a Standing Grip case in Blue and Grey color options. Notably, this accessory has only been limited to the flagship Galaxy Z and S-series devices. 

Lastly, the report adds that all the aforementioned cases will be priced between EUR 10 and EUR 60.

Earlier today, the Samsung Galaxy A35 surfaced in a leaked live image. Now, another upcoming A-series phone has been spotted on the TENAA certification platform. Unsurprisingly, it is the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G which has leaked plenty of times in the past. The device has been picking up various certifications hinting at its imminent launch. Rumor has it that the A55 5G may debut between April to June period.

The Samsung Galaxy 55 5G has been spotted on the TENAA certification with model number SM-A5560. The live images posted on the platform reveal the device with a boxy form factor and Key Island that was introduced on the A15 and A25. The latter is simply a protrusion on the right frame housing power and volume rocker buttons. The smartphone has three vertically stacked cameras on the back panel. 

The TENAA listing does not reveal any additional information of the Galaxy A55 5G. The live images are in line with the leaked CAD-based renders from nearly two months ago. As per FCC, 3C, and TUV Rheinland databases, the smartphone will support 25W fast charging.

The Samsung Galaxy A55 5G has already appeared on the Geekbench benchmarking platform. As per the database, it will be powered by an Exynos 1480 SoC and may or may not feature AMD graphics. The device is expected to pack 8GB RAM and is tipped to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery unit.

Samsung has been rumored to be working on the new Galaxy A55 5G model. It has been spotted in various reports and certifications. Now, the upcoming device has also been sighted in the Bluetooth SIG database, so here are all the details.

Samsung Galaxy A55 visits Bluetooth SIG

The South Korean tech giant’s Galaxy A55 5G surfaced on the Bluetooth SIG database carrying the model number SM-A556E. Apart from its moniker, the listing also confirms support for Bluetooth 5.4. The sighting on the database basically hints that the Galaxy A55 5G’s launch could be imminent. But unfortunately, no other finer details like specs were revealed in the certification platform.

Just recently, the Samsung Galaxy A55 was spotted on the TUV Rheinland and 3C certifications as well. These also revealed that the device supports 25W wired fast charging. Based on our previous report, it is expected to launch sometime between April and June 2024. This model is rumored to sport a 6.5-inch OLED display that offers Full HD+ resolution and 120Hz refresh rate. Under the hood, the new smartphone could be equipped with the Exynos 1480 SoC that is paired with an AMD GPU.

A large 5,000mAh battery pack may power this handset. The rear may pack a triple camera setup that consists of a 50-megapixel primary sensor, a 12-megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 5-megapixel macro shooter. Meanwhile, the front house has a 32-megapixel camera for selfies and video calls. Samsung is working on a line of new Galaxy A-series smartphones. Recently, there have been news of the upcoming Galaxy A15 5G and A25 5G, and now another A-series smartphone has come to light. This time, it’s the Galaxy A55 5G, which has passed 3C certification.

Galaxy A55 5G keeps 25W charging, 3C certification reveals

The A55 5G has the model number SM-A5560 and supports 15W charging. This is the same charging speed as last year’s Galaxy A54.

As expected, Samsung will not be including a charger in the box. Unfortunately, the listing on the Chinese regulator’s website doesn’t reveal any other specs, other than its 5G capability.

Previous reports have indicated that the Galaxy A55 5G will be powered by Samsung’s Exynos 1480 processor. 

This chipset is expected to feature an octa-core architecture with four efficiency cores clocked at 2.05GHz and four performance cores clocked at 2.75GHz. It will also be equipped with Samsung’s Xclipse 530 GPU, which is likely based on AMD’s RDNA 2 graphics architecture.

For those unaware, Xclipse is Samsung’s brand name for GPUs based on AMD’s graphics architecture. Currently, the Xclipse 9xx series, which is based on AMD’s RDNA3 architecture, is used for high-end GPUs. 

For example, the Samsung Exynos 2200 has the Xclipse 920, while the Exynos 2400 has Xclipse 940 and will be used in the Galaxy S24 and Galaxy S24+ models.

The Xclipse 5xx series, on the other hand, is likely intended for mid-range models and may be based on the RDNA 2 architecture.

It’s still unclear when the Samsung Galaxy A55 5G will be released, but we can expect to hear more about it in the coming days.
