Samsung Electronics, Wednesday, held a launch event where the Galaxy S23 series was the star of the night. The tech giant equally announced new Galaxy Book notebook models. The Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra emerges as the top model among the laptops announced. The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra was launched alongside the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and Book 3 Pro. It is the premium model among the trio and it offers ultra-high-performance computing.

The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra packs a 16-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The laptop is powered by an Intel Core i9-13900H CPU while the graphics are powered by an Nvidia GeForce RTX 4070 GPU. The laptop also comes with 32GB LPDDR5 RAM.

The premium laptop also features a full-sized backlit keyboard and a Windows Precision trackpad. There is a full HD webcam onboard which makes the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra suitable for video conferencing. The notebook also features various connectivity options such as a Thunderbolt 4 (USB Type-C) port, a USB 3.2 Type-A port, an HDMI 1.4 port, a microSD card slot, and a 3.5mm headphone jack.

The Book 3 Ultra gets its juice from a 76Wh battery that should deliver an extended battery life. The device equally supports 100W fast charging, making it possible to quickly recharge the battery when it goes flat.

In terms of the software, the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra comes pre-installed with the latest Windows 11 operating system. The laptop also comes with some features such as Expert RAW Auto Share which allows users to transfer RAW images from a Galaxy smartphone to the laptop automatically. Other features include Galaxy Book Smart Switch, Private Share, Quick Share, Samsung Multi Control, Samsung Pass, Second Screen, and Studio Mode. The Galaxy Book Smart Switch makes it possible to easily transfer data from an old PC to the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. On its part, the Samsung Multi Control gives users the leverage to control their Galaxy smartphone using the laptop’s keyboard and trackpad.

Samsung is yet to reveal the pricing details of the Galaxy Book3 Ultra. However, the laptop is expected to go on sale in selected markets soon. The Book 3 Ultra will be available in a sole 16-inch Graphite model.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Specs & Design Leak Out Ahead of Launch

Samsung will be hosting the Galaxy Unpacked tomorrow where the brand will be launching the Galaxy S23 series flagship smartphones. Along with the flagship smartphones, many other devices are also expected to launch tomorrow, one of them being the Galaxy Book 3 series laptops.

A day ahead of the launch, tipster SnoopyTech leaked the design and specifications of the Samsung Galaxy Book 3 vanilla model. According to these leaks, the model will come with many upgrades over the last generation.

The pictures show that the Galaxy Book 3 will have a variety of ports available. On the left side, there will be an HDMI port as well as USB 3.2 and USB Type-C ports. A USB Type-A port, a microSD card slot and a 3.5mm headphone jack are all located on the right side. A second SSD and a microSD card are both options for users to increase storage. Up to 2TB is supported for the latter.

A 15.6-inch Full HD display will be included with the Galaxy Book 3 laptop. It will be equipped with a 13th-generation Intel chip. According to tipster Snoopy Tech, the Core i5 processor will be included within the base model. We can expect more powerful 13th-Gen Intel chips to come with higher-tier models like the Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. Lastly, the tipster informs that the laptop will be roughly 1.56 kg in weight and 15.4 mm thick.

Samsung has the Galaxy Unpacked event scheduled for February 1. At this event, the brand will launch the Galaxy S23 series of smartphones along with other devices like the Galaxy Book 3 laptop series.

A couple of days ago, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Book 3 Ultra leaked revealing major details about the device. Pre-bookings also kicked off in multiple regions around the globe. Now, Samsung India has also begun taking pre-bookings in the sub-continent. Let’s take a look at the details.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Series

Samsung has started accepting pre-bookings for the Galaxy Book 3 series laptops on platforms like Samsung eStore, Samsung Smart Cafes, Samsung Smart Plazas, Flipkart, Amazon, and other brick-and-mortar stores. As with any pre-reservation campaign, customers ordering the devices will be getting several benefits.

The customers who pre-book the devices via Samsung eStore, Flipkart, Amazon, and other retail outlets will get a Rs 5,000 eVoucher which can be redeemed while purchasing the device. On the other hand, pre-bookings made through Samsung Smart Cafes and Smart Plazas will get 5000 Smart Club points (worth Rs 5000). Do note that customers pre-booking these devices will need to purchase them on or before March 31 to avail the benefits.

Signing up on the Samsung Shop App will earn users an extra 2% in loyalty points. A Rs 2000 welcome voucher is also available to those who are using the Shop app for the first time.

Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Pro and Book 3 Ultra Specifications

The Galaxy Book 3 series will be equipped with Intel’s 13th Gen processors. The Ultra variant will get access to the i9-13900H processor paired with NVIDIA RTX 4070 GDDR6 8GB GPU, while the Pro variant will feature up to Core i7-1360P paired with Intel Iris XE integrated graphics. Both devices will support LPDDR5 RAM and PCI-E Gen4 NVME SSDs.

The Galaxy Book 3 Ultra will sport a large 16-inch 3K AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880x1800p for its display. According to reports, the 14-inch and 16-inch screen sizes for the Galaxy Book 3 Pro will be available.

Additionally, this device will include NVIDIA RTX 4070 GDDR6 8GB dedicated graphics. Regarding the display, the gadget will have a sizable 16-inch 3K AMOLED screen with a resolution of 2880x1800p.

The device will be 17mm thick and 1.8 kg in weight. A 136W power adapter and a 76Wh battery will be included with the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. The highly anticipated Samsung Galaxy S23 series is set to be announced on February 1 during the Galaxy Unpacked 2023 event. However, it appears that this won’t be the only series being launched during this conference as the Galaxy Book 3 lineup might also be unveiled alongside its latest flagship smartphones.

Now, new information from known tipster Ishan Agarwal has revealed some key details regarding the upcoming Galaxy Book 3 series of notebooks. Under the new lineup, the South Korean tech giant is slated to launch multiple models which include the new Galaxy Book 3, Galaxy Book 3 360, Galaxy Book 3 Pro, Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360, and the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra. This isn’t the only model arriving in the Unpacked event. As per our previous report, the brand is also gearing up to release the new Galaxy Book 2 Go series as well.

Meaning, there are a number of products that are ready to be announced soon. Talking about the Galaxy Book 3 series, the base Galaxy Book 3 and the Galaxy Book 3 360 will be available in a 15 inch display size, while the Galaxy Book 3 Pro will be launched in a 14 inch and 16 inch display variants. Meanwhile, the Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 and the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra in a 16 inch screen model only. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 will sport a 16 inch Super AMOLED display with a 3K (2880 x 1800 pixel) resolution.

The laptop will be available in two processor variants with an Intel Evo 13th Gen i5-1340P and i7-1360, which will be paired with Iris Xe graphics. The Galaxy Book 3 Pro 360 will also feature a quad speaker tuned by AKG along with Dolby Atmos audio support. Samsung might launch next-gen Galaxy Book laptops alongside the Galaxy S23 series

Samsung is expected to launch the Galaxy S23 series on February 1st. The launch event is expected to feature the launch of three smartphones in the Galaxy S23 series and some new accessories. Along with these gadgets, it appears that Samsung will also be launching the next-gen Galaxy Book laptops.

The report comes from SamMobile which claims that the upcoming high-end laptops will feature improved specifications and improved software features compared to the current Galaxy Book 2 series. It is speculated that the laptops could be powered by Intel’s 13th Gen processors. Specification details of the laptops are still behind the veil, however, we can look at the current-gen Galaxy Booklaptops to get an idea of what to expect.

Galaxy Book2 Pro, Galaxy Book2 Pro 360 specifications

The display on the Galaxy Book 2 Pro is 13.3 inches, while the display on the Galaxy Book 2 Pro 360 is 15.6 inches. Both devices have a 16:9 aspect ratio. Both devices have AMOLED displays with Full HD resolution and 400 nits of brightness for normal viewing. When viewing HDR content, the brightness can reach 500 nits. The 13.3-inch model is 1.04kg, while the 15.6-inch model is 1.41kg.

Although neither model has Bluetooth connectivity, they both run Windows 11 OS and have support for the S Pen. The S Pen’s decreased latency makes it possible to write and sketch. The Samsung Notes software promises advancements in areas like hyperlink support and handwriting recognition. With the appropriate apps running on Galaxy devices, the app can instantaneously synch.

The 12th generation Intel Core i7 and Core i5 CPUs, up to 32 GB of LPDDR5 RAM, and up to 1 TB of NVMe SSD storage power the Galaxy Book2 Pro and Book2 Pro 360. A 63Wh battery powers the Book2 Pro, while a 68Wh battery powers the Book2 Pro 360. Both devices enable USB-C 65W rapid charging.

Samsung launched a bunch of laptops including Galaxy Book Go, Book 2, Book2 360, Book2 Pro, and Book2 Pro 360 in March. Now it seems the Korean company is planning to refresh its laptop portfolio with latest devices. A new laptop, dubbed Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra has been spotted Bluetooth SIG certification site, hinting at an imminent launch.

MySmartPrice has spotted the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Book 3 Ultra on the Bluetooth SIG certification site. Book 3 Ultra could be the premium model in the company’s Book 3 series. The laptop appeared with four different model numbers— NT960XFH, NT961XFH, NT960XFS, and NT960XFHZ. It has been listed as a “Notebook PC” under the “Personal Computer” product category.

Samsung Galaxy Book2 Series

As per the listing, the Galaxy laptop will come with support for Bluetooth 5.1. Moreover, it will run on Windows 11 operating system and will be powered by an Intel CPU. However, Bluetooth SIG did not reveal the exact processor. We expect an intel i7 processor. The device will also carry support for Wi-Fi 6E.

Details about the Galaxy Book 3 Ultra are still pretty and Samsung is yet to confirm any details about the upcoming laptop. We hope to learn more details about it in the coming days.

As mentioned, Samsung’s Book 2 series of laptops arrived with 12th Generation Intel Core processors. All the models in the lineup run Windows 11 OS out of the box, except the Galaxy Book2 Business laptop which sports Windows 11 Pro. The Pro model also supports S-Pen. Moreover, most of the models have a high-capacity battery and support fast charging functionality. As for the price, all the models in the series are priced between Rs. 38,990 (~$514) to 115,990 (~$1,529).
