The smartphone made an appearance on GeekBench database earlier this month. The phone has now been certified by TUV Rheinland. The certification means a sampling of the product has been tested for safety and found to meet the minimum requirements of the German Equipment and Product Safety Act.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-m31s.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-328575" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-m31s.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy M31 TUV Rheinland certfifcate" width="640" height="384" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-m31s.jpg 640w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-m31s-300x180.jpg 300w" sizes="(max-width: 640px) 100vw, 640px" /></a></p>
<p>The TUV Rheinland certification for the Galaxy M31s shows the device will pack a monstrous 6,000 mAh battery. That&#8217;s all that is revealed on the listing but the earlier GeekBench appearance shows the device will be powered by an Exynos 9611 chipset paired with 6GB of RAM. The Galaxy M31s is also expected to run on the latest Android 10 OS with an overlay of  Samsung’s One UI.</p>
<p>For now, no other details of the M31s is known. Going by previous M30 series models, the M31s may likely come with an upgraded camera system. The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/02/25/samsung-galaxy-m31-debuts-with-32mp-front-camera-64p-quad-cameras-and-6000mah-battery/">Galaxy M31 was launched in February 2020</a> so the upgrade won&#8217;t likely be a major one. Instead, this may likely be a trimmed down version with lesser pricing.</p>
