<p>The Samsung Galaxy M62 came with the Android 11 operating system from the box and the new One UI 4.1 update comes with an enhanced design as well as several other features. The updates bundles bug fixes, performance improvements, and device stability for the Samsung Galaxy M62. The One UI 4.1 offers a revamped design with a color palette and an improved general outlook.</p>
<p>The new update also comes with the Android security patch for March 2022. The new firmware version is M625FXXU2BVC3 and will automatically prompt for it in the specified countries. Now, we have new info suggesting that the device could debut under ₹25k in India.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-365263" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62-.jpg?x96852" alt="Samsung-Galaxy-F62-" width="1080" height="640" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62-.jpg 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62--300x178.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62--768x455.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62--1024x607.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62--696x412.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62--1068x633.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Samsung-Galaxy-F62--709x420.jpg 709w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></p>
<p>The latest information comes from Mukul Sharma who says that Samsung will soon launch the Galaxy F series device. He says that the device will debut under ₹25,000 in India. To recall, the Galaxy M51 has the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/09/10/samsung-galaxy-m51-india-launch-7000mah-battery-snapdragon-730g/">highest price</a>(₹24,999) for a Samsung F/M series yet. Hence, the upcoming Galaxy F(probably the F62) won&#8217;t break this norm going by the leak.</p>
<p>Further, Mukul also shared a picture that has what looks like a leaked marketing teaser image having a &#8216;Flagship level&#8217; tagline with Exynos and four blanks( _ _ _ _ ). A comparison against Qualcomm <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-765G">Snapdragon 765G 5G</a> chipset is also shown. If this is true, Samsung is clearly looking to target the performance and 5G capabilities here.</p>
<blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-width="550" data-dnt="true">
<p lang="en" dir="ltr">[Exclusive] Samsung is indeed launching a new F series smartphone. It&#39;s supposed to be a <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/FullOnSpeedy?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#FullOnSpeedy</a> phone. The multi-core score (2401) will outperform the 765G processor. Price will be less than 25k <img src="https://s.w.org/images/core/emoji/13.1.0/72x72/1f60d.png" alt="😍" class="wp-smiley" style="height: 1em; max-height: 1em;" /><br />Hey <a href="https://twitter.com/SamsungIndia?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">@samsungindia</a>, which one eh? <br />Any guesses <a href="https://twitter.com/hashtag/stufflistingsarmy?src=hash&amp;ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw">#stufflistingsarmy</a>? <a href="https://t.co/x0dA80sXDz">pic.twitter.com/x0dA80sXDz</a></p>

<p><script async src="https://platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script></p>
<p>A recent Geekbench listing shows that the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/03/samsung-galaxy-f62-sm-e625f-leak-geekbench/">Galaxy F62 will feature</a> an Exynos 9825 flagship chipset. In case you don&#8217;t know, Exynos 9825 powers the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-note-10">Galaxy Note 10</a> Series from 2019.</p>
<p>Interestingly, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/08/07/exynos-9825-arrives-as-samsungs-first-7nm-euv-mobile-processor/">this chipset</a> (first Samsung SoC to be built on 7nm), although having 4G as default, also is <a href="https://www.samsung.com/semiconductor/minisite/exynos/products/mobileprocessor/exynos-9825/">5G-ready</a> when paired with an Exynos 5100 modem. Hence, it is possible that Samsung might surprise everyone by bringing the Galaxy F62 as a 5G device.</p>
<p><a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-f62">Samsung Galaxy F62</a> has been in the rumors for quite a while now. A listing on FCC with model number SM-E625F/DS, which is tipped to be the Galaxy F62, reveals features like NFC, 7,000mAh battery with 25W charging. Other expected specs include quad-cameras, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/07/samsung-galaxy-m62-sm-m625f-256gb-leak/">storage up to 256GB</a>, USB-C and 3.5mm audio jack ports, run <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-11">Android 11</a>, and more.</p>

<p>A Samsung device with model number SM-M625F/DS appears on Wi-Fi Alliance Certification. If you recall, a <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/12/11/galaxy-tab-m62-first-tablet-galaxy-m-series/">report last month</a> said that the model number belongs to the upcoming <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-m62">Galaxy M62</a>. Here, DS refers to the Dual-SIM variant. Anyway, the listing shows that the device will support Wi-Fi 2.4 &amp; 5GHz.</p>
<p>This basically means you can tap into both the 802.11ac and backward compatible 802.11a/b/g/n <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/wi-fi">Wi-Fi network</a> using the device. Also, since the &#8216;DS&#8217; appears on the certification, we can expect the Phablet to arrive with SIM support.</p>
<p><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-366813" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Galaxy-M62-WiFi-Certification.jpeg?x96852" alt="" width="564" height="626" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Galaxy-M62-WiFi-Certification.jpeg 564w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Galaxy-M62-WiFi-Certification-270x300.jpeg 270w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/01/Galaxy-M62-WiFi-Certification-378x420.jpeg 378w" sizes="(max-width: 564px) 100vw, 564px" /></p>
<p>You can also spot that the device <a href="https://www.91mobiles.com/hub/samsung-galaxy-m62-wi-fi-certification-launch-imminent/">runs</a> <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/android-11">Android 11</a> which means you can expect at least the <a href="http://www.gizmochina.com/tag/one-ui-3.0">One UI 3.0</a> to be present out of the box. While we decide on whether the device will be a Tablet/Phablet, <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/05/samsung-galaxy-tab-m62-live-images-leak/">leaked live images</a> suggest that it could carry the Phablet Form factor. For the unware, a Phablet has an intermediate size between a Tablet and a Smartphone.</p>
<p>Although we don&#8217;t know the exact size/dimensions of display to confirm this, the device is expected to feature <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2019/08/07/exynos-9825-arrives-as-samsungs-first-7nm-euv-mobile-processor/">Exynos 9825</a> SoC, paired with at least 6GB RAM and <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/07/samsung-galaxy-m62-sm-m625f-256gb-leak/">up to 256GB storage</a>. All this will likely be backed up by a 7,000mAh battery with support for up to 25W charging.</p>
<p>Besides, there is a possibility that a variant with SM-E62F/DS could also debut as F62/E62 in certain markets but let&#8217;s wait for official confirmation on the same.</p>
