If Samsung is going to launch the Galaxy Note 20 series in August as expected, that means the launch is just two months away. Thus, the rumour mill is expected to keep buzzing with significant details of the models that make up the lineup. Popular tipster IceUniverse has revealed some details of the Galaxy Note 20+ camera. The tipster disclosed on Twitter that the 5G flagship will have a 108MP sensor, while the ToF will be replaced by a laser focus sensor, assisting the main camera.

The device is also rumoured to feature the 1/1.33″ Samsung Bright HM1 sensor which was also used on the Galaxy S20 Ultra. The additional laser focus sensor will assist the main camera, instead of having a static ToF sensor that analyzes the foreground and background.

In addition, the Galaxy Note 20+ will pack a 12MP ISOCELL Fast 2L3 ultrawide-angle lens which is 1/2.55” in size and comes with PDAF. There will also be a 3MP Samsung Slim 3M5 periscope telephoto lens with a size of 1/3.4″ but official numbers say it is 1/3”. The camera will also feature support for 50X zoom instead of the 100X zoom which the HM1 is capable of.

Earlier on, CAD renders of the Galaxy Note 20+ emerged online showing the device will come with a single central punch-hole design. The device is also rumoured to feature an updated Exynos 992 chipset, based on the 5nm process.
