Samsung‘s upcoming Galaxy S21 FE has had a tortuous ride that had resulted in its late release At a point, the device was almost ruled out as vaporware as the global component shortage, in combination with several other issues, had made it possible for the device to miss its scheduled unveiling twice, allegedly. However, the wait is almost over and the impending launch of the Galaxy S21 FE has been heralded by a full specs overview of the smartphone.

The Galaxy S21 FE is scheduled for an early 2022 launch, most likely January 2022- that is, barring any shifts due to unforeseen circumstances. The phone had been the subject of much speculation due to its extended period of suspense as a result of its non-release on schedule. Some renders, images, and specs details have been speculated for the Galaxy S21 FE, but it seems we now have the most authentic details yet for the device. The full specs sheet of the Samsung Galaxy S21 FE has emanated from what some industry buffs are calling informed sources.

Although pricing details are still lacking for the Galaxy S21 FE, we can seemingly confirm that the major hardware changes were done in the new smartphone, compared to its predecessors, the Galaxy S21 and S21+. The 4,500mAh battery will enjoy 25W wired charging, among other features including the triple camera setup. There are software updates that could extend to Android 15 for the Galaxy S21 FE, thus enhancing its lifespan. The extended software support for the Galaxy S21 FE will put it on a higher plane than the Galaxy S21 or Galaxy S21+.

As we inch towards the January 2022 launch date, the few remaining key details for the Galaxy S21 FE are expected to be out including pricing and global availability details.

There has been a lot of rumors and leaks surrounding the Galaxy S21 FE series. The device is also highly anticipated even though Samsung is yet to disclose when it will be launched. There are rumors that the device will go official in October. Apparently, the rumors may be true after all. The Galaxy S21 FE’s quick start guide has just leaked from a US carrier Cricket Wireless. The carrier is an AT&T-owned prepaid carrier that offers affordable phone plans that aren’t tied to annual contracts.

The guide shows that the phone will be offered by the carrier and that the launch is close by. It also confirms some of the vital info for users as well as live images of the affordable flagship device.

The Galaxy S21 FE is a highly-anticipated device mainly due to its ability to offer flagship features found on the Galaxy S21 series at an affordable price. The device will take over from the Galaxy S20 FE which was a hit when it was released last year.

This new leak comes not too long after the user manual for the S21 FE leaked online showing the device won’t have a MicroSD slot, among other things. The manual also reveals the device will also come with an IP68 waterproof rating, a high display refresh rate, and will feature an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor among others. While the Galaxy S21 FE 5G is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 888 chipset, a recent GeekBench listing shows that there will be an Exynos 2100 version as well. This has left some fans disappointed considering the below-par performance the Exynos version will provide compared to the Snapdragon-n model.

There is still no word yet from the Korean tech giant regarding a launch date but we expect an announcement to be made in that regard soon.
