The upcoming Samsung Galaxy S-series flagships, which are expected to launch in February next year, have been plagued with leaks and rumors, whether it be specification leaks or its sightings on Samsung’s official website. Now, new leaks have surfaced of its top-end model, the Galaxy S22 Ultra, showcasing its rear styling and design profile.

The know tipster Roland Quandt took to Twitter to share his latest findings which feature standing pictures of the Galaxy S22 Ultra with a clear back cover on. The leak has been claimed to come from the UK retail chain.

The renders showcase a rectangular design with slightly curved edges which goes along with the earlier render leaks of the device. However, one difference can be observed in the camera module of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, which was previously shown to have an almost non-existent camera bump with the lenses protruding from its body. Now, going by the new reveals, it appears that the phone will indeed feature a camera bump which can be observed by the camera module cut out of the clear view cover. The render also reveals that the phone will house a quad-camera setup along with a laser autofocus sensor and an LED flash.

The tipster also revealed the design of the upcoming stylus for the Galaxy S22 Ultra which appears to be quite similar to the current-gen stylus on the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Previous leaks have suggested that the Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra is set to launch in February 2022 and features a 6.8-inch screen with a quad 108MP + 10MP + 10MP + 12MP rear camera setup. The device will have the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 SoC under its hood but might even come with Samsung’s own Exynos 2200 SoC. The phone is rumored to come with two RAM configurations of 12GB paired with 128/256GB storage and 16GB paired with 512GB.

The device is said to come in Dark Red, Black, and White color options, but some reports have also pointed to a new Green color option. As for the pricing, if the reports are to be believed, the Galaxy S22 series could have a starting price of $799.

In the last couple of weeks, various rumors and reports regarding the next generation of Samsung flagship smartphones have been surfacing. Now, an updated CAD 3D render concept has been spotted that showcases the Galaxy S22 Ultra with two camera islands on the rear.

The new renders arrives from graphic designer Technizo Concept in collaboration with LetsGoDigital. While we have seen CAD renders of the Galaxy S22 Ultra, the latest one showcases the upcoming flagship smartphone with two rear camera islands over a large single one that was spotted previously. Looking at the new concept render, the camera setup includes an updated telephoto camera sensors, which is different from the P shaped camera module spotted in the previous renders.

It houses a 108 megapixel primary camera, along with a 12 megapixel ultra wide angle lens, and a 3X telephoto and 10X periscopic camera sensors. LetsGoDigital also believes that all four cameras will feature OIS. Notably, known tipster IceUniverse revealed that the upcoming Galaxy S22 series might bring back Burgundy Red. Looking at the new renders, we can see the Galaxy S22 Ultra in White, Burgundy Red, Red, and Black as well. Furthermore, the design of the Galaxy S22 Ultra in this render resembles a Galaxy Note device more than the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

Samsung is expected to unveil its flagship offering for 2022, the Galaxy S22 series in January 2022. The series will be made up of the vanilla Galaxy 22, the Galaxy S22 Pro, and the high-end Galaxy S22 Ultra which will succeed the Galaxy S21 Ultra.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 series has been generating much hype, especially concerning the design. Recently, we saw a set of cool renders of the Galaxy S22 designed by talented designer, Technizo Concept in conjunction with LetsGoDigital. The prolific designer has now unveiled another set of custom renders, this time for the premium Galaxy S22 Ultra giving us an idea of what to expect onboard Samsung’s next flagship.

The Galaxy S22 Ultra will likely come with an expanded S Pen functionality, with talk of a new S Pen feature with Bluetooth support. No major changes are expected in the screen size of the S22 Ultra, and some tipsters have predicted that it will sport a 6.81-inch, QHD+ display, same with the S21 Ultra. The renders also reveal that the S21 Ultra will have a rounded screen with a glass back panel. The LTPO (Low-Temperature Polycrystalline Oxide) screen technology will also be deployed for the S22 Ultra, with an adaptive and efficient display refresh rate.

There are also indications that the S22 Ultra will have lots of features that point to it being used as a gaming smartphone. It could have the Adaptive Heat Fan to curb overheating widely reported by some users of the S21 Ultra, together with support for ray-tracing and variable rate shading. Together with the new AMD-collaborated Exynos 2200 and Qualcomm’s Snapdragon chipsets, these features pack sufficient power and capabilities into the device. The S22 Ultra will also come with Android 12, which Google could release in October 2021.

The Samsung Galaxy S22 Ultra will also sport an impressive camera setup, with the possibility of an under-display selfie camera included. A RAM of 16GB with internal memory up to 1TB is predicted for the S22 Ultra. As we inch towards January 2022, we are bound to get more details relating to the flagship model before its eventual release.
