Indeed, the newly-announced <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/huawei-watch-3">Huawei Watch 3</a> runs HarmonyOS 2.0 out of the box. Does the new version of Huawei&#8217;s proprietary operating system make the Huawei Watch 3 a better smartwatch than <a href="http://gizmochina.com/product/samsung-galaxy-watch-3">Samsung Galaxy Watch 3</a>? Here is a specs comparison between the two smartest wearable devices without Wear OS which will give you a  glimpse of the differences between these wearables.</p>

<h3>Design</h3>
<p>Huawei Watch 3 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 are not so different in terms of aesthetics. If you love minimalistic designs, then you will like the Huawei Watch 3 due to its higher screen-to-body ratio. But if you prefer having better usability and a sophisticated watch, then you may like the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 more due to its rotating bezel which can become very helpful while navigating through the user interface. The Huawei Watch 3 is built with a glass front, a  ceramic back, and a stainless steel frame. With the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, you get either a stainless steel frame (316L) or a titanium frame, as well as a glass front protected by Corning&#8217;s Gorilla Glass  DX. Both the smartwatches are waterproof: the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 has the IP68 certification which makes it 50m water resistant, and so is the Huawei Watch  3. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is thinner because it packs a smaller battery and it is even lighter, which makes it even more elegant and ergonomic.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Display</h3>
<p>The Huawei Watch 3 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 come with great displays: they are AMOLED panels with sizes of 1.43 and 1.4 inches, respectively, showing vibrant colors and deep blacks. The Huawei Watch 3 has a higher resolution with 466 x 466 pixels, so it has a higher level of definition. That is why it wins the display comparison. But the rotating bezel of the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 makes it easier to navigate the user interface. In each case, you get a touch screen. As mentioned above, Huawei Watch 3 has narrower bezels around the display.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Specs &amp; Software</h3>
<p>The Huawei Watch 3 has more powerful hardware than Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. It packs 2 gigs of RAM and 16 GB of internal storage, while you get just 1 GB of RAM and 8 GB of storage with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3. You can save a lot more data with the Huawei Watch 3 and you should also get better performance. Which is the best operating system between HarmonyOS 2.0 and Tizen OS? It is still too early to say it because HarmonyOS 2.0 just went official and no one had the chance to test it thoroughly. Note that HarmonyOS 2.0 is currently an operating system present not only in the Chinese market but in the global market too. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is sold globally as well and it comes with Tizen OS which supports several globally available apps, including the payment service Samsung Pay. Huawei Watch 3 supports a lot more sports modes than Samsung Galaxy Watch 3.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Sensors and connectivity</h3>
<p>Huawei Watch 3 and Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 are equipped with a lot of sensors and modules to track physical activity better than with other activity trackers. The Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 is actually a better smartwatch for those who want to track health and wellness because it is one of the few ones supporting the ECG function. Further, it is able to monitor blood pressure monitor. On the other hand, Huawei Watch 3 is able to measure body temperature with a thermometer, which is useful when it comes to Covid-19. But it does not support the ECG feature which is definitely more advanced. However, Huawei Watch 3 is a more advanced device for sports tracking because it supports more sports modes. Both the smartwatches have the GPS, the SpO2 sensor, and the eSIM connectivity allowing you to use cellular connectivity without a physical SIM inside.</p>

</ul>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Battery</h3>
<p>The battery of the Huawei Watch 3 is way bigger than the one found on the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, that is why it should offer a longer battery life. We are talking about 450 mAh against just 340 mAh. Both the wearables support wireless charging.</p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h3>Price</h3>
<p>Huawei Watch 3 is priced at €369/$438 in the global market, while Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 costs €279/$332. Overall, Huawei Watch 3 should offer better usability due to its bigger battery, better memory configurations. But with the Samsung Galaxy Watch 3, you can pay with Samsung Pay, monitor ECG stats, and pressure level, which are very useful and advanced features. Which one would you pick?</p>

<p>In a bid to extend the relevance and functionality of the Samsung Galaxy Watch and the Samsung Galaxy Watch Active, Samsung will be introducing new updates to the firmware of these smart wearables to incorporate several features that were originally in the latest smartwatch from Samsung, the Galaxy Watch 3.</p>
<p>The delightful Samsung Galaxy Watch 3 comes loaded with several new features like blood pressure reading, heartbeat measuring functionality for ECG, and others.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/samsung-galaxy-watch.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-205383" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/samsung-galaxy-watch.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy Watch" width="1022" height="768" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/samsung-galaxy-watch.jpg 1022w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/samsung-galaxy-watch-300x225.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/samsung-galaxy-watch-768x577.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2018/08/samsung-galaxy-watch-160x120.jpg 160w" sizes="(max-width: 1022px) 100vw, 1022px" /></a></p>
<p>Users of the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Watch Active in South Korea and the United States are reported to have started seeing the updates, while it is expected to subsequently be seen in other parts of the world.</p>
<p>The new updates, for now, shall be via TizenHelp, and provides several additions to the two smartwatches, from improvements on the notification process to allow image notifications, and image prompts for messages. The updates would also improve the conversational experience with the inclusion, layout and recording and vital measurements functionalities that are essentially meant to extend the lifespan of both the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Watch Active by a few more years.</p>

<p>The updates will come with respective firmware versions of R810XXU1FUB6, for the Galaxy Watch and R500XXUF1UB5 for the Galaxy Watch Active.</p>
<p>The move to seemingly retool the Galaxy Watch and the Galaxy Watch Active could be seen as a reflection of Samsung&#8217;s policy to continue to make previous models still relevant by this massive update. The owners of these smart wearables will always be the better for it.</p>

This round-faced watch has an AMOLED display, SpO2 sensor, heart rate monitor, sleep tracking, Amazon Alexa, support for Bluetooth calls, in-built storage, GPS, support for 90 sports modes, and 14-day battery life. It is priced at $179.99.</p>

<h4><span style="color: #339966;"><strong>Best Rugged Smartwatch &#8211; Garmin Fenix 6 Pro</strong></span></h4>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/7191EyVICUL._AC_SX679_.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-362552" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/7191EyVICUL._AC_SX679_.jpg?x10805" alt="Garmin Fenix 6 Pro" width="629" height="704" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/7191EyVICUL._AC_SX679_.jpg 679w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/7191EyVICUL._AC_SX679_-268x300.jpg 268w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/7191EyVICUL._AC_SX679_-375x420.jpg 375w" sizes="(max-width: 629px) 100vw, 629px" /></a></p>
<p>If you want an outdoor/rugged watch that does it all, then the $699.99 <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/09/garmin-refreshes-smartwatches-features-solar-technology/">Garmin Fenix 6 Pro</a> is the watch for you. It packs a 1.3-inch transflective display with a 260 x 260 resolution and Gorilla Glass DX or Sapphire Crystal. Alongside all you will expect from a standard smartwatch, the Garmin Fenix 6 Pro justifies its price tag with a lot of premium features you won&#8217;t find on most of the other watches on this list.</p>
<p>It allows you to add maps; store up to 2000 songs on its 32GB of built-in storage; provides support for pre-loaded activities such as skiing, trail running, rowing, and golfing; and provides access to CourseView maps for more than 41,000 golf courses across the world. It also has hydration tracking, body energy monitor, and advanced sleep monitoring that includes respiration data. Its battery life varies but in smartwatch mode, it goes up to 14 days on a single charge.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://geni.us/BHCB4" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<p><strong>Honorable Mention &#8211; Amazfit T-Rex</strong></p>
<p>At $699.99, the Fenix 6 Pro will definitely be out of the range of several folks, but you can pick up the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/product/amazfit-t-rex/">Amazfit T-Rex</a> rugged smartwatch for a fraction of that price, $139.99 to be precise. It misses out on several features of the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/garmin">Garmin</a> watch but if all you want is a watch that will survive outdoors, then it will do.</p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Amazfit-T-Rex-5.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-299608" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Amazfit-T-Rex-5.jpg?x10805" alt="Amazfit T-Rex" width="1024" height="548" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Amazfit-T-Rex-5.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Amazfit-T-Rex-5-300x161.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Amazfit-T-Rex-5-768x411.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Amazfit-T-Rex-5-696x372.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/01/Amazfit-T-Rex-5-785x420.jpg 785w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></a></p>
<p>It has 12 military-grade certifications and will handle extreme temperatures and weather. The AMOLED screen is 1.3 inches in size just like that of the Fenix 6 Pro but it is sharper as its resolution is higher. There are fourteen supported professional sports modes, built-in GPS, and it has heart rate monitoring, a 20-day battery life, and a 5ATM water-resistant rating.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://geni.us/ErUCf" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>

<h4><span style="color: #339966;"><strong>Best Budget Smartwatches &#8211; Amazfit GTS 2 Mini and Huawei Watch Fit</strong></span></h4>

<p>The <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/amazfit-gts-2-mini">Amazfit GTS 2 Mini</a> is a cheaper version of the <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/amazfit-gts-2">Amazfit GTS 2</a> but if you are on a budget, this is probably the smartwatch for you. At $99, this watch has a 1.55-inch AMOLED screen, 70 sports modes, SpO2 monitor, women&#8217;s health tracking, Amazon Alexa, GPS, and a battery life that lasts up to 14 days.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://geni.us/hCb1" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/huawei-watch-fit-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-339423" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/huawei-watch-fit-2.jpg?x10805" alt="Huawei Watch Fit" width="993" height="501" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/huawei-watch-fit-2.jpg 993w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/huawei-watch-fit-2-300x151.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/huawei-watch-fit-2-768x387.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/huawei-watch-fit-2-696x351.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/08/huawei-watch-fit-2-832x420.jpg 832w" sizes="(max-width: 993px) 100vw, 993px" /></a></p>
<p>The Huawei Watch Fit is also another option. Its elongated 1.64-inch AMOLED screen will definitely draw attention but that is not all it has got. It boasts more than 90 sports modes along with a built-in trainer and animated workouts. It also has a SpO2 sensor, GPS, 5 ATM water resistance, and a 10-day battery life. While it launched for €129, the watch can be purchased for €99 in a number of European countries.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://geni.us/YBBNKfx" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>

<p>The <a href="http://gizmochina.com/tag/mi-watch-lite">Mi Watch Lite</a> makes for an honorable mention. With a price tag of around $60, this is for those who want to save even more money. It doesn&#8217;t have SpO2 measurement and its sports modes are fewer at just 11. Nevertheless, you get a square 1.4-inch dial with more than 120 watch faces to choose from, heart rate measurement, a barometer, GPS, and a battery life of about 9 days.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://www.giztop.com/xiaomi-mi-watch-lite.html" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h4><span style="color: #339966;"><strong>Best Fitness Tracker &#8211; Amazfit Band 5</strong></span></h4>
<figure id="attachment_340059" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-340059" style="width: 720px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-340059" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Amazfit-Band-5-featured-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Amazfit Band 5" width="720" height="420" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Amazfit-Band-5-featured-1.jpg 720w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Amazfit-Band-5-featured-1-300x175.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/09/Amazfit-Band-5-featured-1-696x406.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 720px) 100vw, 720px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-340059" class="wp-caption-text">Amazfit Band 5</figcaption></figure>
<p>If you want a fitness tracker, then the $49.99 Amazfit Band 5 is our pick for the best fitness tracker. It packs a 1.1-inch AMOLED display; can measure blood oxygen level saturation alongside heart rate, sleep, and stress level. It also has Amazon Alexa, support for 11 sports modes, women&#8217;s health tracking, and a battery life that lasts up to 15 days in typical usage and up to 25 days in basic mode.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://geni.us/Lxh2d" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<h5><strong>Honorable Mentions &#8211; Xiaomi Mi Band 5 and Honor Band 6</strong></h5>
<p><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Mi-Smart-Band-5-featured.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-332217" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Mi-Smart-Band-5-featured.jpg?x10805" alt="Mi Smart Band 5 featured" width="857" height="418" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Mi-Smart-Band-5-featured.jpg 857w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Mi-Smart-Band-5-featured-300x146.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Mi-Smart-Band-5-featured-768x375.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Mi-Smart-Band-5-featured-533x261.jpg 533w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/Mi-Smart-Band-5-featured-696x339.jpg 696w" sizes="(max-width: 857px) 100vw, 857px" /></a></p>
<p>The Mi Band 5 is a cheaper alternative to the Amazfit Band 5. Both can pass for the same as they are made by the same manufacturer, Huami. However, Xiaomi&#8217;s own doesn&#8217;t have blood oxygen level detection, Amazon Alexa, and women&#8217;s health tracking. It currently goes for between $30 and $35.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://geni.us/mq0w0" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>
<p>&nbsp;</p>
<figure id="attachment_362451" aria-describedby="caption-attachment-362451" style="width: 1280px" class="wp-caption aligncenter"><img loading="lazy" class="size-full wp-image-362451" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6.jpg?x10805" alt="Honor Band 6" width="1280" height="988" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6.jpg 1280w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6-300x232.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6-768x593.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6-1024x790.jpg 1024w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6-696x537.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6-1068x824.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/12/Honor-Band-6-544x420.jpg 544w" sizes="(max-width: 1280px) 100vw, 1280px" /><figcaption id="caption-attachment-362451" class="wp-caption-text">Honor Band 6</figcaption></figure>
<p>Priced at about ~$40 Honor Band 6 packs a much bigger display than the other two fitness trackers. It is a 1.47-inch AMOLED display with a 368 x 194 resolution. The fitness tracker has support for 10 sports modes, automatic workout detection, SpO2 measurement, 5 ATM water resistance rating, and 14-day battery life. Unfortunately, it doesn&#8217;t have GPS.</p>
<p style="text-align: center;"><span class="td_btn td_btn_md td_round_btn" style="color: #ffffff;"><a style="color: #ffffff;" href="https://geni.us/Zte7bMX" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">Buy Now</a></span></p>

Ahead of the launch, the Watch3 has been completely unboxed by a YouTuber. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-334311" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3.png?x10805" alt="" width="802" height="403" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3.png 802w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-300x151.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-768x386.png 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-696x350.png 696w" sizes="(max-width: 802px) 100vw, 802px" /></a></p>
<p>The unboxing video is definitely the most elaborate leak concerning the Galaxy Watch 3 and features the Bronze variant in all its glory.  The watch is expected to be available in three colours – Black Silver and Bronze.</p>
<p>In addition, the Galaxy Watch 3 that got unboxed is the 1mm version but we expect Samsung to also unveil a 45mm option. The 45mm model is said to have a dimension of 45 x 46.2 x 11.1mm and it houses a 1.4-inch display as well as a 340mAh battery. On the other hand, the 41mm edition of the smartwatch will have 41 x 42.5 x 11.3mm dimensions and sport a slightly smaller 1.2-inch screen. This model draws power from a 247mAh battery.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-2.png?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-334312" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-2.png?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy Watch 3" width="767" height="450" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-2.png 767w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-2-300x176.png 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-2-696x408.png 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch3-2-716x420.png 716w" sizes="(max-width: 767px) 100vw, 767px" /></a></p>
<p>On the connectivity front, the Galaxy Watch 3 will support LTE and GPS. When it comes to health sensors, it will offer users a heart rate sensor, blood pressure monitoring, and electrocardiogram (ECG). It is unclear whether ECG will be available globally at launch. It will offer users with 8 GB of native storage. Its processor will be paired with 1 GB of RAM.</p>
<p>The Watch3 will also come with a MIL-STD-810G rated and IP68 certified chassis as well as the Gorilla Glass DX protection.</p>

<p>The Watch3 will ship with a wireless magnetic dongle charger with a power output of 5 W and a USB-A port. We also took note of the rotating bezel which is making a return on the Watch3 after missing out on the Watch2. Check out the video above.</p>

<p>The company has not yet confirmed what devices are getting launched at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. Samsung has said that it will be launching its &#8220;latest ecosystem of Galaxy devices designed to empower your life.&#8221;</p>
<p>However, it&#8217;s also certain that Samsung will be taking wraps off the Galaxy Note20 series. We are also expecting the South Korean giant to launch the next-generation Galaxy Z Fold 2 foldable smartphone as well as its smartwatch named <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/galaxy-watch-3">Galaxy Watch 3</a> at the same event.</p>
<p>As per the reports, there will be at least two models in the next-generation Galaxy Note series &#8212; Samsung Galaxy Note20, Note20 Ultra. Recently, renders of the Ultra variant were leaked online, giving us a clear look at what to expect in terms of design.</p>

<p>The devices could be powered by the Qualcomm <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/snapdragon-865-plus">Snapdragon 865 Plus</a> chipset, with all the models supporting 5G connectivity, similar to the Galaxy S20 lineup. We are also expecting a better display and camera setup along with an improved S-Pen experience.</p>

<p>The <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/07/06/galaxy-z-fold-2-will-be-the-name-of-samsungs-upcoming-foldable/">Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 2</a> will be a follow-up foldable smartphone from the company with which its two different foldable smartphone lineups will be combined into one. It is expected to have a 7.7-inch display with a punch-hole cutout on top. This one too is rumored to come powered by SD865 Plus SoC.</p>
<p>There are still lots of things that we don&#8217;t know about the products that Samsung has planned to launch at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked event. However, since the event in just a month from now, we expect to get more information as the launch date nears.</p>

That is because of the intensity at which details of the smartwatch are hitting the limelight. The smartwatch has now been certified by the NCC with a photo splash to show for it.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-330934" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy Watch3" width="658" height="481" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3.jpg 658w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-300x219.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-575x420.jpg 575w" sizes="(max-width: 658px) 100vw, 658px" /></a></p>
<p>The images show the premium watch with a silver exterior and a black leather band. The watch is expected to be available in three colours &#8211; Black Silver and Bronze. The model pictured in this listing is obviously the Silver variant. <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-330936" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3.jpg?x10805" alt="Galaxy Watch 3" width="672" height="499" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3.jpg 672w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3-300x223.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3-80x60.jpg 80w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3-265x198.jpg 265w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3-485x360.jpg 485w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/07/galaxy-watch-3-3-566x420.jpg 566w" sizes="(max-width: 672px) 100vw, 672px" /></a></p>
<p>In addition, the Galaxy Watch 3 is expected to come in two sizes &#8211; 45mm and 41mm. The 45mm model measures 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 and it houses a 1.4-inch display and a 340mAh battery. On the other hand, the 41mm edition of the smartwatch will have 41 x 42.5 x 11.3mm dimensions and it will sport a 1.2-inch screen. This model will draw power from a 247mAh battery.</p>
Its processor will be coupled with 1 GB of RAM.</p>

<p>The Watch3 will ship with a wireless charger with a power output of 5 W. The charger will be powered by a regular USB-A to microUSB cable. We also took note of the rotating bezel which is making a return on the Watch3 after missing out on the Watch2.</p>

New photos of the upcoming Galaxy Watch 3 have now emerged online. The leaked images show the model while it is powered on.</p>
<p>The photos don&#8217;t really show a major change in the UI and the watch will rely on the rotating bezels in order for users to navigate around the available features. The design looks like the Galaxy Watch 2 except for the two physical buttons at the right side. The watch is expected to run Samsung&#8217;s own Tizen 5.5 OS.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-watch-3-1.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-328633" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-watch-3-1.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung Galaxy Watch 3" width="727" height="443" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-watch-3-1.jpg 727w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-watch-3-1-300x183.jpg 300w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-watch-3-1-696x424.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/06/galaxy-watch-3-1-689x420.jpg 689w" sizes="(max-width: 727px) 100vw, 727px" /></a></p>
<p>The Galaxy Watch 3 will come in two sizes. The 45mm model measures 45 x 46.2 x 11.1 and it houses a 1.4-inch display. It will house a 340mAh battery. On the other side, the 41mm edition of the smartwatch will have 41 x 42.5 x 11.3mm dimensions and it will sport a 1.2-inch screen. This model will draw power from a 247mAh battery.</p>
Its processor will be coupled with 1 GB of RAM.</p>
<p>The Galaxy Watch 3 will be coming with a MIL-STD-810G rated and IP68 certified chassis. It will be available in stainless steel and titanium editions. The screen will be safeguarded by Gorilla Glass DX.</p>
<p>Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Watch 3 next month together with the Galaxy Buds Live TWS.</p>
