Samsung had recently announced the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Limted Edition model for the Chinese market recently. Now, the special edition variant of the foldable phone has officially been released in the region. So let’s have a look.

Just recently, the South Korean tech giant had announced the Galaxy Z Fold 4 Genshin Impact Edition in its home market. The company is now releasing a new variant of the Galaxy Z Flip 4, which includes the collaboration with the French luxury fashion brand. This has the Galaxy Z Flip 4 feature a new design that has a matte white finish and bears a Maison Margiela logo. The brand is also offering a couple of accessories alongside the new special edition model.

One of the two cases includes a ring attachment with the Maison Margiela’s numeric coding while the other has a hand painted leather canvas. Apart from these accessories, Samsung is also going to offer a unique UI design that offers an X ray vision for the wallpapers that gives us a look at the internal hardware for the device. There are also specialized app icons as well. Under the hood, the device packs the same Snapdragon 8 Gen 1+ SoC with 8GB of RAM and 512GB of internal storage like the base Galaxy Z Flip 4.

The company had recently teased this device and it was even spotted on JD.com as well. Now, the company has officially revealed its price tag of 12,799 Yuan (roughly 1,777 US Dollars). In comparison, the Galaxy Z Fold 4 version with the same storage configuration typically goes for around 8,499 Yuan in the Chinese market.

A couple of weeks ago, Samsung Electronics and Paris Haute Couture House Maison Margiela officially announced their first product under the partnership, dubbed as Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition with unique designs and accessories.

Now, the Samsung Galaxy Z Flip4 Maison Margiela Edition Limited Edition smartphone has now been listed on JD.com, and it reveals that the device will be available for purchase from 1st December, but the pricing details remain unknown.

The newly designed smartphone has a matte white finish and bears a Maison Margiela logo. The company is also bundling two phone cases which have a hand-painted leather canvas, while the second phone case has a ring attachment with Maison Margiela’s numeric coding etched on it.

Samsung is also going a step further and the software on the device has also been customized to include unique X-ray wallpapers and icons. However, as of now, it is not clear if it comes pre-installed with the Android 13-based One UI 5.0 or One UI 4.1 based on the Android 12 operating system.

The phone’s specifications have not been revealed, but it’s likely to be the standard Galaxy Z Flip 4 model, powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 Plus processor, 8GB of RAM, and up to 512GB of internal storage. There will be two 12-megapixel camera sensors on the back and a 10-megapixel selfie snapper up front. The device is likely to be powered by a 3,700mAh battery with 25W fast charging.

Samsung has just launched a new special edition model of an existing smartphone. The new limited variant is the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition. So let’s have a look at this new device.

For those unaware, Maison Margiela is a Paris based haute couture house and a French luxury fashion brand. So, the new special edition model from the South Korean tech giant features a design inspired by Maison Margiela’s original design values. The company has also launched the Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela edition also comes in a Solid White color, which is based on a reinterpretation of the fashion brand’s core beliefs. The smartphone maker made the announcement for the device earlier today (9th November 2022).

Apart from the special edition Galaxy Z Flip 4, the company also bundled two protective covers as well, including one leather and the ‘Bianchetto’ technique. This makes it look like the its painted gray on a white canvas. The four stitches also reflect the Maison Margiela’s signature emblem. On the other hand, the second is a silicone numbering case that has the number 11 engraved on the ring holder.

Lastly, Samsung Electronics even offers the new limited edition model with two unique themes, which includes a special UX theme that offers an X-Ray vision through the device in both black and white, while the other shows a paint texture expression done with a rough brush. The company has just announced the new Galaxy Z Flip 4 Maison Margiela Edition model in its home market of South Korea as well as France. Sales of the device will begin on 1st December 2022, although, it is also planned to release in other major global markets as well.
