<p>Samsung Electronics maintained its position as the best-selling smartphone manufacturer in the world&#8217;s most populous country, China, for 6 quarters.</p>
<p><span id="more-14842"></span>According to a market research conducted Strategy Analytics, Samsung sold 15.3 million smartphones in China in the period from April to June, 2013, or an increase of 0.9% from the previous quarter. In other words, Samsung controlled 19.4 market share in China.</p>
<p>While Chinese handset manufacturers such as Lenovo, Coolpad, ZTE and also reported no increase in market share of 9.7% in the first quarter to 12.3% in the second quarter. While Huawei&#8217;s market share decreased by 2.4% to 9.6%.</p>
<p>Data reported by Strategy Analitycs also noted that Apple has sold 3.4 million units of the iPhone in China, or reap market share 4.3% in the second quarter.</p>
<p>Overall, in the second quarter, smartphones were sold in China had reached 78.8 million units, or 34% of all smartphone shipments worldwide.</p>

Samsung smartphone popularity in China is still continuing. Although many outstanding Chinese smartphone with cheap prices and specifications are sophisticated, yet it still managed to compete with the existence of the Samsung Android smartphone.<br />

According to news reported by the Ming Pao Daily, Samsung gained the largest market share in April 2013. According to data obtained from Sino Market Research, Samsung managed to gain a dominant share of 18 percent in the Chinese market.</p>
<p>Meanwhile in second and third place two Chinese smartphone manufacturers compete strictly local, ie, Coolpad and Lenovo. Coolpad gain of 11.5 percent while the share of Lenovo was 11.2 percent.</p>
<p>Coolpad names may be less familiar. But this one smartphone brand is able to sell his 71 percent of smartphones in the domestic market while the remaining 29 percent in the International market.</p>
<p>Outside there are three further names Huawei and ZTE are among the top five with a percentage of 10.1 percent, respectively, and 6.4 percent.</p>

<p>Samsung as the one of smartphone manufacturer based on South Korea is now able to lead the Chinese market for the first time. From a report released by Strategy Analytics, the company has sold 30.06 million units smartphones in China.<br />

Samsung has controlled 17.7% of the smartphone market in the China region during 2012. This is a significant improvement from the year 2011 who was then the sale of 10.9 million smartphone units (or approximately 12.4% market share) in China.</p>
<p>The success of Samsung topped the world&#8217;s largest smartphone market with Nokia&#8217;s opposite. The market share of the Finnish company experienced a sharp decline of 29.9% in 2011 to 3.7% in 2012. This makes the Nokia that had been forced down in the first place to 7th positioned.</p>
<p>While under Samsung, Lenovo has increased 4% from the year 2011 and was second with a 13.2% market share in 2012. While Apple&#8217;s heels with 11%, Huawei 9.9%, and Coolpad as domestic manufacturer is got 9.7%.</p>
<p>Samsung can be one of the new players in China. The company recently started selling mobile devices in China since 2009, and is now able to lead the market with the help of their Android-based devices. Overall, the report Analitics Strategy in February noted that the Android OS dominate the Chinese market to 86% and iOS 12% during Q4 2012.</p>
