Although the listing itself did not shed much light on the model which was said to have a 6GB RAM and an Android 11 OS, some tipsters have weighed in on the handset. The smartphone has an Adreno 619 GPU and most probably come with a Snapdragon 750G chipset – Qualcomm’s signature and budget-friendly 5G offering.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter wp-image-355527 size-full" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378.jpg?x10805" alt="Samsung SGH-N378" width="1080" height="1415" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378.jpg 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-229x300.jpg 229w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-768x1006.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-782x1024.jpg 782w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-696x912.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-1068x1399.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-321x420.jpg 321w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></a></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Our informed hypothesis is that this is a precursor of the forthcoming Samsung Galaxy A52 5G – which has been linked with the Snapdragon 750G by earlier snoops. In addition,  there is a seemingly non-coincidental similarity to Samsung A42 5G earlier announced. This lends credence to the informed hypothesis.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">There is still some secrecy clouding the news, however. The SGH-N378 model number is different from those in other models in the same range. While this could be part of the aces up the sleeves of the manufacturer,  it bears very close similarity with the pre-2013 notation of Samsung for their phone models. The enigmatic notation is clearly different from the Galaxy A42 5G’s SM-A426B and SM-A426B/DS. The closest model we could find would probably be the Galaxy J.<a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2.jpg?x10805"><img loading="lazy" class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-355528" src="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2.jpg?x10805" alt="" width="1080" height="1207" srcset="https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2.jpg 1080w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2-268x300.jpg 268w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2-768x858.jpg 768w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2-916x1024.jpg 916w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2-696x778.jpg 696w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2-1068x1194.jpg 1068w, https://www.gizmochina.com/wp-content/uploads/2020/11/samsung-sgh-n378-2-376x420.jpg 376w" sizes="(max-width: 1080px) 100vw, 1080px" /></a></span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">If we are to make any predictions on the basis of deciphering the model number, its unusual notation could suggest an entirely different new family for the Galaxy series is in the offing, even though Samsung already has a budding pool of devices to potentially add the SGH-N378 to. For instance, the <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/16/samsung-galaxy-m12-3d-renders-display-dimensions-specs-leak/">Galaxy M12</a> has been popping up in the rumour mill lately, with a rather <a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2020/11/13/samsung-galaxy-a42-5g-has-snapdragon-750g-confirms-google-play-console-listing/">Galaxy A42</a>-like design.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">We shall keep tabs with this developing scoop and update you with any developing story in this light. (<a href="https://twitter.com/yabhishekhd/status/1329718673351663622" target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer">via</a>)</span></p>
