<p><span style="font-weight: 400">The </span><a href="https://fccid.io/ZCASMT225"><span style="font-weight: 400">FCC certification</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> (via </span><a href="https://www.thegoandroid.com/samsung-galaxy-tab-sm-t225-with-lte-support-appears-on-fcc/"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">GoAndroid</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400">) of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T225 does not disclose much about this tablet. Except for the fact that it is an ODM (Huaqin Telecom Technology Co., Ltd.) product with support for WiFi, Bluetooth, and LTE. </span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">But the listing mentions the tablet to be backed by a battery manufactured by SCUD (Fujian) Electronics Co., Ltd. Searching its model number HQ-3565S on </span><a href="https://www.certipedia.com/certificates/03117645?locale=en"><i><span style="font-weight: 400">TÜV Rheinland</span></i></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> we found it to have a capacity of 5,100mAh. Also, the tablet will be shipping with an EP-TA200 adapter, which is nothing but </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Samsung/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Samsung</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">’s 15W Adaptive Fast Charging charger.</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Further, the sketch meant for label location exposes the rear design. The design looks similar to that of the recently leaked </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/02/18/samsung-galaxy-tab-s7-lite-tab-a7-lite-specs-features-leak/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy Tab A7 Lite</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/2021/01/22/samsung-galaxy-tab-a-8-4-2021-3d-cad-renders-leak/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Galaxy Tab A 8.4″ (2021)</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">. We think the SM-T225 cannot be the latter as its 3.5mm headphone jack sits at the bottom and not at the top, as on the Galaxy Tab 8.4″ (2021).</span></p>
<p><span style="font-weight: 400">Hence, there’s a high chance that the Samsung Galaxy Tab SM-T225 could be the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite with an 8.7-inch display and slim metal design. Lastly, according to Geekbench, it will feature </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/MediaTek/"><span style="font-weight: 400">MediaTek</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400"> Helio P22T (aka P22 Tab) SoC, 3GB RAM, and </span><a href="https://www.gizmochina.com/tag/Android-11/"><span style="font-weight: 400">Android 11</span></a><span style="font-weight: 400">.</span></p>
